Andriy Shevchenko, salah satu mantan pemain Chelsea yang harus ditebus dengan biaya transfer selangit dari AC Milan. Namun sayang, ia gagal memberikan performa terbaiknya untuk The Blues. Shevchenko yang kerap kali disapa Sheva ini kini bermain untuk Dynamo Kiev. Dan lewat wawancara eksklusif dengan Goal, Sheva mengatakan bahwa ia tetap pendukung Chelsea hingga akhir hidupnya.

Sheva yang meninggalkan Chelsea pada musim ini memberikan beberapa pendapat mengenai mantan timnya ini dan juga Carlo Ancelotti yang pernah menjadi manajer AC Milan – klub Shevchenko sebelum ia pindah ke Stamford Bridge.

“Ancelotti memulai musim ini di Inggris dengan sangat baik. Ia memiliki skuad yang luar biasa padanya, dan mereka sedang memuncaki klasemen. Bagi saya, sudah pasti Chelsea adalah favorit utama untuk menjuarai liga Inggris,” ungkap Sheva yang kini sedang menjalani perawatan atas cederanya.

“Semua tim yang pernah saya bela, akan selalu ada di hati saya. Dan ini bukan hanya Milan, namun juga untuk Chelsea. Saya adalah penggemar Chelsea hingga akhir hayat saya,” ungkap Shevchenko.

Sedangkan mengenai Avram Grant yang sempat mengantar Chelsea ke final liga Champion, Sheva mengaku bahwa Grant adalah pelatih yang baik. “Ia bekerja dengan baik mengantar Chelsea ke final liga Champion. Dan bukan salah Grant jika penalti krusial itu bisa gagal. Saya rasa jika kami menang di final tersebut, ia tidak akan dipecat saat itu.”

CALLING ALL RESIDENT EVIL FANS! MORE DETAILS REVEALED ON RESIDENT EVIL 5 DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT AND GOLD EDITION!

We announced to you this morning that we would be bringing you a ton of new content for RESIDENT EVIL 5 in a variety of different ways! Now we blow the lid off with more information on the DLC content and a calendar that includes all dates and prices.

For the downloadable content, we plan to release two new episodes, a host of new costumes, and a new “THE MERCENARIES REUNION” mode, featuring 8 new playable characters and weapon load outs.

For those RESIDENT EVIL fans who prefer a box copy, we are also happy to report that we will be releasing a RESIDENT EVIL 5: GOLD EDITION that will include the original game plus all additional content, making this the ultimate RESIDENT EVIL5 experience.   RESIDENT EVIL 5: GOLD EDITION will be available for $49.99 as a single Blu-ray disc for the PLAYSTATION 3 or as a DVD with a token for the downloadable content for XBOX 360.

Previously only seen during cut scenes of the original RESIDENT EVIL 5, the first new episode titled “LOST IN NIGHTMARES”, finds BSAA agent, Chris Redfield, working with his partner, Jill Valentine, as they investigate Ozwell E. Spencer’s hideaway.   Spencer, the evil mastermind and co-founder of Umbrella Corporation, has been hiding a new evil deep within the basement of his mansion. Chris and Jill discover this grotesque evil standing in their way as the two enter deeper into the catacombs beneath the mansion.

Simultaneous with the release of “LOST IN NIGHTMARES”, new costumes for Chris and Sheva will be made available, allowing the player to experience RESIDENT EVIL 5 with a fresh new look and feel through both game play and cut-scene playback.   A new refresh of Mercenaries Mode, “ THE MERCENARIES REUNION”, gives players new playable characters and weapon load outs which provide players additional challenges as they aim to shoot down as many enemies as they can within a limited time.   Each piece of downloadable content will contain two new playable characters.   The GOLD EDITION will feature all eight.

E ae galerinha do balaco-baco.

Pois é, demorei um pouco para conseguir postar alguma coisa no blog, MAS, finalmente tenho um tempinho livre. O final de de semana foi bem corrido. Tive que instalar o meu cooler novo da CPU (um Noctua NH-U12P caso você esteja curioso), sem contar o tempinho pra chefe, policia, patroa e etc namorada. Pois bem, vamos ao que interessa.
RESIDENT EVIL 5.
Finalmente Resident Evil 5 saiu para PC. Após 500 mil milhoes de anos muito tempo do lançamento para os consoles. Mas bem, a demora valeu a espera, como já é de costume da Capcom. Primeiramente, na parte grafica, que na minha singela e ridicula opinião, é o “cartão de visita” do jogo. O visual é extremamente fantastico, conseguindo arrancar até da minha namorada (que odeio video-games e afins) as seguintes palavras: “Nossa! Que graficos bonitos…”.

Detalhe para os efeitos de motion-blur e HDR (high dynamic range).

Efeitos marotos de DoF (depth of field) e texturas detalhadas (reparem nos relevos na roupa do Chris)

Detalhe para o efeito de particulas na lava. Iluminação "fraca" também não é?

Segundamente Segundo, graças a Alá o suporte ao combo mouse + teclado não foi esquecido como no Resident Evil 4. Sinceramente! Quem foi o “genio” que bolou os controles do Resident Evil 4 para PC? Melhor ele manter distancia da minha pessoa. Jogar Resident Evil 5 com mouse e teclado é coisa linda de Deus simplesmente perfeito. O jogo fica infinitamente mais facil e mais divertido, na minha opinião.
Outro “plus” ponto positivo do jogo é o modo multiplayer cooperativo. Sempre fui grande fã de jogos que contam com modo cooperativo, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 1, até o clássico Duke Nuken 3D (sim, era possivel jogar nas fases do jogo com seus amigos via lan ou rede “dial-up”). Pois zé Pois é, Resident Evil 5 conta com um modo co-op muito divertido que permite que você se junte a mais um amigo (que controla a “parceira” de Chris, Xéva Sheva) e jogar a campanha inteira acompanhada de seu colega, amigo e afins.
Mas para que tentar explicar com palavras se posso mostrar um video? Abaixo, seguem dois curtos gameplay, um gravado por mim e por meu camarada Thales Sakano jogando o 3º nivel do segundo capítulo que eu, particularmente, gosto de chamar de “O ataque dos zumbis motoboys” e outro que fiz já a um tempo para o meu canal mega super hiper fodasticamente estiloso do YouTube (www.youtube.com/user/lnetol) demonstrando algumas partes do começo do jogo.

Enfim, vejam por vocês mesmo.

Okay, sei que a sincronização não ficou perfeita no primeiro video e a fase não é a melhor para demonstrar o modo co-op, mas acho que dah pra passar a ideia certo?

Enfim, não há muito mais o que falar. Resident Evil 5 superou minhas expectativas. Um jogo bonito, divertido de se jogar e muito bem executado, sem contar o fato de rodar super bem na maioria dos PCs medianos. Sim, você não precisa de acelerador de particulas Core i7 com 12gb de ram e uma HD5870 para rodar esse jogo nas configurações maximas.

Espero que vocês tenham gostado do curto review.

Nicola e Twisterina vincono il Jumping Small, ma purtroppo un’ eliminazione nel percorso di Agility preclude loro la possibilità di portare a casa il 3° titolo dell’anno. Rimane la grandissima soddisfazione per la grande prestazione effettuata!
Andrea e Giò al loro primo mondiale si classificano 12° in Jumping Large e 14° in Agility, concludendo con un ottimo 9° posto assoluto, grande prestazione anche per loro!
Massimo e Sheva, anche loro al debutto mondiale, hanno partecipato alla gara a squadre categoria medium concludendo entrambi i percorsi con due bei netti, classifica finale della squadra 6° assoluti.
Complimenti a entrambi, avanti così!!

I was so excited when I got RE5. I instaled it immediately and when I try to run it… Arrrggghh!!! I got an error! At first, it was just Err 09. After a few days of tinkering with the settings I finally manage to run the game and get inside the menu. So I totally got excited again. But when I try to play it, no video is showing on the cutscenes and only subtitles appear. I said to myself that would be OK for now at least if I can play the game… then all of a sudden… another error!!! I think the error is something like D3DX9 or something like that. aaarrrggggh!!!! I would admit that my video card is outddated but I was hoping I could at least play the game on very low settings. I guess there’s nothing left to do but buy a new video card….

Alright, I now manage to make RE5 run on the current PC I’m using(not mine). Since I’m using a Radeon X1550 on this one, it’s not easy. First of all your operating system should be Vista. For some reason, Vista enhances the performance of your video card. The driver should be updated, in my case i’m using Catalyst 9.8. Now you’ll need a patch made to make your video card recognized as an Nvidia GeForce card. Here’s what I used http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru/download_en.htm. Once you’ve installed and run the game, make sure to lower the all video related settings to minimum. You should now be able to play RE5. But note that the game will be very sluggish most specially when enemies started to come out.

Karen Dyer, the actress who played Sheva Alomar in Capcom’s “Resident Evil 5″, has released a calender of herself dressed as Sheva in response to fan requests.

Utterly pointless if you ask me, she doesn’t even look like Sheva judging from this picture. Next all the other actors from the game will be releasing calenders, even the Majini.

A 38-year-old Japanese man has been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison and fined $96,000 for hosting illegally downloadable DS games on a website.

First off, who would want to do that? DS games are cheap anyway; and I don’t think people who own a DS are clever enough to download games illegally, are they?

British newspaper the Daily Telegraph predicts that the rumoured ’slim’ version of the PlayStation 3 will retail for £260.

If it does retail at that price, I won’t be getting one. Because what’s the point? It costs far too much, it no doubt won’t have the same backwards capabilities as the 60GB model and who cares if it’s smaller? It’s still the same bloody console.

Adoro coisas criativas e igualmente aleatoriamente aleatórias. Tipo esse calendário aí. Bem na janela entre o lançamento de Resident Evil 5 para consoles caseiros e PC a modelo e dubladora Karen Dyer disponibilizou no site oficial dela um calendário 2009/2010 temático de Sheva Alomar, uma das heroínas do jogo.

A guria foi dubladora e atriz de motion capture de Sheva (e falou sobre tudo isso e mais nesta bela entrevista das meninas guerreiras do Girls of War). Já o calendário exibe a moça com o modelito básico de Sheva, a roupa secreta tribal africana e, err… um outro que me lembra os filmes da série Austin Powers.

Em tempo, o visual em si de Sheva é inspirado em outra moça, no caso, especificamente falando, a australiana Michelle Van Der Water. Ah!

At least Chris looks pretty brutal. Sheva looks much more sophisticated than her other costumes, but this one makes her look like a schoolgirl, which I’m assuming is the goal since she has a backpack and such on as well.

The image above comes from Siliconera and previews the DLC costumes that will be exclusive to Resident Evil 5 PC players when it’s released. Resident Evil has always been known for having some awesome unlockables, and Capcom is definitely continuing that trend. But I really hope they at least bring them to Xbox 360 in the near future. Because I have a 360, and I want my Chris to be totally BRUTAL!

Yep, that’s right, there’s going to be another Resident Evil film. This one is called Resident Evil: Afterlife and currently has a release date of Spetember 17th 2010. Milla Jovovich will probably be returning but it hasn’t been confirmed and there is also no word about Paul Anderson returning as director. The other three Resident Evil films haven’t been very good so I’m not expecting much from this one but I would like to see a good Resi film. I haven’t saw Resident Evil: Degeneration yet but it could be the good Resi film I looking for.

Most people think that Resident Evil 4 reinvented the series for the better so maybe the fourth film will do the same.

L’ulti­mo Shevchenko co­nosciuto, è datato stagione 2005- 06, diciannove reti con la maglia del Mi­lan, prima dell’ad­dio ai colori rosso­neri, convinto ad accettare il Chelsea perché così i figli imparavano l’ingle­se, versione ufficia­le, la versione uffi­ciosa è fin troppa facile da capire. Sa­rà stata l’aria di Londra, ma da allo­ra l’ucraino non è stato più lui, appe­na nove reti in due stagioni con il Chelsea, arrivato come uomo in più per vincere la Champions, trasformatosi in oggetto miste­rioso con Mourinho che lo bocciò dopo poche settimane. Neppure il rientro al Milan nella passata stagione, si è rivelato la medici­na, con Carlo Ancelotti che lo ha utilizzato praticamente niente. Tre stagioni di questo tipo, posso­no legittimare assolutamente i dubbi sull’opportunità di acqui­sire in rosa un giocatore che da troppo tempo non riesce più a fa­re quello che ha sempre fatto, i gol e la differenza.

Since RE5 has come out, I’ve decide to make a review of the entire Resident Evil Series. This is one of my favorite game series of all, maybe the best. When I first played Resident Evil, I remember just playing it because I have nothing to do on one of those days during my college vacation. I didn’t even bought the Playstation for me but for my 2 siblings. Yet when I started to play the game I also started to get addicted by it. I only have a copy of RE1: Director’s Cut and RE3: Nemesis back then. I first played RE3: Nemesis because I felt that RE1 might be a bit old already. But after I beat RE3, I was craving for more and eventually played RE1 as well. Although I have already played RE4, it’s sad to say that I haven’t played the entire game of RE2 yet so I know I missed some of the fun. I had a copy of RE2 for PC and not for PS at that time, so it’s kinda hard to play using the keyboard so I eventually gave up on it. To the fact that a lot of people say that it was the best RE game before RE4. I am replaying RE4 at the moment and I’m looking forward to playing RE2 and RE Code Veronica using an EMU after I beat RE4 again.

Okay I’ll review each game separately and let’s start of with the first.

Resident Evil(1)

This is the first ever Resident Evil game released and the first game to carry the genre survival horror. Remember that Resident Evil 0 was made after the first three games as a prequel to the original Resident Evil.The story begins with reports showing that there were animal like attacks near the Arklay Mountains. STARS Bravo Team was dispatched to investigate. The STARS Alpha Team was then dispatched when they lost contact with the Bravo Team. The horror begins when they found Bravo Team’s Helicopter and they were chased by a pack of what appears to be mutated dogs. Alpha Team was forced to take refuge inside the Spencer Mansion.

From here on you’ll play either as Jill Valentine or as Chris Redfield. Jill is able to carry more items but is easily injured compared to Chris. But she has the capability of using lockpicks. Chris on the other hand is stronger than Jill but is unable to carry a lot of items. Chris uses small keys to open some doors instead of lockpicks. Jill’s storyline is easier, especially with another of the Alpha Team, Barry, always there to assist her. Chris will eventually be accompanied by Rebecca Chambers, a member of the Bravo Team as the game goes along. There are different type of endings that you can get. This depends on whatever choices you made during the course of the game. The ending may feature all of your team surviving or some may have died. There is also an ending where the enemies were destroyed and an ending that shows the monsters being able to escape through the woods.

This is probably one of the scariest game of it’s time. Step aside the cheesy dialogue and this is an adventure you’ll never forget. A remake was made for Gamecube featuring an entirely new graphics, improved dialogue, and better FMVs. I haven’t played the remake yet since I don’t have a Gamecube. And EMUs for Gamecube does not fully support this game yet. But hopefully once EMUs were able to support this, I’ll definitely play the Remake. Since I won’t be able to review the Remake anytime soon, here’s a clip for your viewing.

I bought Resident Evil 5 a week or so after it was released. Because I figured I did a fine job on RE4 and I wanted the extra Gamerscore points I decided that on my first playthrough I would set the game on Veteran difficulty.

Ce n’etait pas une bonne idee. 

As it turns out, without any weapons upgraded, if you decide to play RE5 on its highest offered difficulty upon your first runthrough, you are a f***ing idiot. 

After giving up several times and yelling more expletives at my TV screen than I’m proud of, though… last night I beat this damn game. And you know what? For as many times as I called Sheva a stupid f***ing c*** b**** and referred to Wesker as c***s***ing a**hole motherf***er, I really enjoyed this game. 

So, needless to say, I’ve already started playing  the game over again on one of its lesser difficulties so I can complete the game in its entirety without being angry and focusing on boosting my Gamerscore.

It is once again Game Time. Except this time I’m prepared and Wesker doesn’t stand a chance. Woohoo.
