Gratulerar Will Ferrell, som utnämnts till världens mest överbetalda skådespelare, nåja Hollywoods i alla fall.

För varje betalad dollar har Will Ferrell bara tjänat in 3,29 dollar. Jämför med Shia LaBeouf, pengarligans ledare, vars filmer tjänar in 160 dollar per dollar enligt lön (efter en äldre lista, tyvärr) Generellt sett tjänar dock kvinnorna in mer pengar än männen.

I due interpretano un giovane uomo e una madre single che si sono riuniti e costretti da una telefonata anonima nella realizzazione di un piano per sconfiggere una possibile organizzazione terroristica.

La revista Forbes, puñetera ella, acaba de publicar la lista de los actores menos amados en Hollywood. En realidad, lo que recopila esta publicación es la relación de los intérpretes menos rentables. Pero tal y como está el patio, con Hollywood más en plan industria que nunca, mirando cada céntimo invertido en una producción, no resultar rentable equivale a no ser querido… o, directamente, a ser odiado. He ahí el pecado de estos hombres (y una mujer): sacarle poco jugo a sus sueldos, más o menos generosos, pero soñados por cualquier mortal.

Se lleva la palma Will Ferrel, actor ¿cómico? que no deja de embarcarse en proyectos a cual más fallidos y que recauda 3,29 dólares por cada uno que se embolsa. Esta cifra, así, sin ponerla en contexto puede dejarnos fríos, pero acudamos a la socorrida comparación que nos proporciona la propia Forbes: en el extremo opuesto, la antítesis de Ferrell, el tierno Shia LaBeouf, gracias a sus dos Transformers, genera 160 dólares por película. ¡Casi 50 veces más que Ferrell! Tremendo.

Aquí se puede consultar ambas listas, la de los losers y la de los winners. Para los que sientan pereza ante el trámite, vaya por delante que a Ferrell, entre los menos rentables, le siguen Ewan McGregor, Billy Bob Thornton, Eddie Murphy y Ice Cube. Menudo plantel. Salvo Billy Bob, y en menor medida Ewan, el resto son para echarles de comer aparte (Ice Cube no debe ser siquiera considerado actor). En el otro extremo de la balanza, a LaBeouf le siguen James McAvoy, Michael Cera, Daniel Radcliffe y Robert Downey Jr.

Conclusión: para ser rentable hay que saber actuar (un mínimo), elegir bien el proyecto y, a poder ser, caer en una de esas superproducciones que hacen muchos dólares. Claro que a estas listas tampoco hay que concederles más importancia de la necesaria: si tu caché es bajo, es fácil que salgas bien parado en términos de productividad, y viceversa. Lo grave para Ferrell y compañía es que, a buen seguro, los ejecutivos de Hollywood sí se toman estas cosas muy, pero que muy en serio.

Hoje vou iniciar uma série de posts chamada de Filmes que vale a pena ter, e começo com Constantine, filme de 2005 baseado na HQ Hellblazer da linha Vertigo da DC Comics. Vertigo é a linha de HQ’s adultas da DC, e realmente, Constantine não é para crianças.

O filme conta a história de John Constantine, interpretado por Keanu Reeves, um homem que já conheceu o inferno de perto, literalmente. John acaba sendo levado a ajudar a policial Angela Dodson, interpretada por Rachel Weizs, a solucionar o caso do suicídio da irmã de Angela. Durante a investigação os dois encontram demônios, que misteriosamente estão aventurando-se no mundo humano, onde não deveriam estar, e Constantine não exita em mandá-los de volta para o inferno.

A trama é muito bem bolada, com algumas traições e detalhes inesperados, tem até a aparição do ‘Lu’, nome ‘carinhoso’ ao qual Constantine se refere ao diabo em pessoa, ou Lúcifer. Outros nomes famosos do céu e inferno também aparecem, como por exemplo o anjo Gabriel, que tentaram mantê-lo hermafrodita no filme, e creio que conseguiram.

A capa do dvd do filme é muito bacana, tanto que quando comprei para dar de presente pra minha namorada, que simplesmente ama o filme (com razão, é claro ), me segurei para não pedir um pra mim também. E compensa ter a versão dupla, que vem com um dvd inteiro só de extras, que conta com cenas deletadas, comentários dos criadores dos quadrinhos, do diretor, entre muitas outras coisas.

A atuação dos atores eu considero muito boa, Keanu Reeves parece que combinou muito com o papel, com seu jeito sério e seco, mas vale dizer que eu não cheguei a ler a HQ, portanto não falo como quem conhece o personagem. Rachel Weizs também fez um trabalho competente.

Enfim, Constantine é definitivamente um filme que vale a pena ter em casa. Vale ver uma, duas, três, muitas vezes, sem cansar. Eu posso dizer que ainda não cansei, mas vou ser testado, já que agora minha namorada tem o dvd, com certeza irei assistir muitas e muitas vezes, mas a gente faz um esforço né.

Par de botoncitos

Que bonito el amor juvenil, para muestra un par de botoncitos. Shia le da una verdadera muestra de cariño a su novia, porque aunque está muy padre que tu novio te este manoseando, agarrándote una nalga y que te vea como un objeto sexual del que no puede saciarse nunca; la verdadera muestra de que tiene verdaderos sentimientos por tí es cuando te besa la nariz, o alguna parte del cuerpo que no este directamente asociada con el líbido, así besa el actor a su novia Carrie Mulligan en el set de Wallstreet 2.

Qué esa película va a durar 4 horas? porque ya llevan muchas semanas filmándola!

Transformers 2 – Bumblebee Edition

Fick paket idag från cdon med både special versionerna av Transformers 2, denna & Steelbook versionen. Ena kommer dock att gå på retur men ville se dem först innan jag bestämde mig. Har ju första filmen i en snygg svart plåtbox, men 2an nu matchade inte riktigt istället fick det bli mera leksaker i hyllan.

Denna utgåva är ca 36cm hög, tyvärr endast 2cm djup, hehe.

Shia LaBeouf has reportedly found new love in his ‘Wall Street 2’ co-star Carey Mulligan.

The ‘Transformers’ star has even been snapped in the act of giving the English actress a kiss on the cheek.

LaBeouf has said earlier that it is easy to fall in love with co-stars.

“It’’s really easy to fall for someone on-set, but in the end you know, it’’s a representative and it’’s not really them,” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

He has also been in news for his romance with Australian beauty Isabel Lucas on the set of ‘Transformers’ last year.

Meanwhile, Mulligan has received praise from critics for her role of a school girl seduced by an older man, in ‘An Education.’

Last week, Gossip Girl sparked a national controversy with its highly publicized threesome episode. The ménage a trois between Dan, Vanessa, and Lizzy McGuire wasn’t rated NC-17, but it did prompt the Parents’ Television Council to release the following statement: “The CW Network’s behavior was grossly irresponsible by adding a story line where a sexual threesome was to be celebrated as some sort of ‘rite of passage’ for teenagers.”

The PTC, of course, assumes that TV can compel teens to have grossly irresponsible, drunken threesomes with former Disney stars. (This is the same group that blames violence on cop shows, and homosexuality on the purple Teletubby).  But, if TV can force savvy teenagers into triple sex with Triple Sec, then just imagine what it can do to soft-brained children!  The entire fate of our kids’ future could be determined by remote control roulette: if the channel lands on Ni Hao, Kai-Lan, our kids will end up with 4.0 GPAs and full rides to college… if the channel lands instead on Keeping up with the Kardashians, they’ll end up with huge asses and gold chains.

In my own personal experience, I attribute my Commie ties to hours of watching Sesame Street when growing up (“sharing is caring”).  My adoration for Ernie and Bert, the ambiguously gay duo, also led me to have a soft spot for guys with clashing outfits.  And from watching Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, I naturally grew trusting of old men in cardigans who wanted to be my neighbor. (“Let’s watch Mr. Rogers slowly take off his cable-knit sweater!  Isn’t this fun?”)

So understandably, I fell victim to the power of television once again — after last week’s Gossip Girl episode, I immediately googled Shia LaBeouf to see if he might be interested in accomplishing a rite of passage.  I found out that the pilot episode of LaBeouf’s Disney hit Even Stevens was called “Swap”…  So, he’s in!  Anyone want to volunteer to be #3?

I realize that there are larger issues at hand — such as health care coverage and wars in Iraq. This blog however, has always and will continue to fulfill one purpose — to entertain. With that in mind, I will go over my take on who the most attractive are in Hollywood, don’t judge.

10. Taylor Kitsch- There’s something about his rugged look, and his character in Friday Night Lights that just does me in. He’s from the South, he can whip up a good steak I’m sure, and isn’t too sore on the eyes.

9.  James Franco- I mean, he’s our generation’s James Dean. He’s sexy, talented, and has a college education. What more could you ask for?

8. Robert Pattinson- I really didn’t want to put Mr. Pattinson on my list, as attractive as I find him, merely because every other girl alive will agree with me on this which bothers me. His flannel shirts, Ray Bans, and unwashed hair just lures me into him, unfortunately his acting does not.

7. Penn Badgley- So, he’s been taken for quite a while now…. which makes me less interested in him. But I like him with Blake Lively — I can’t lie, I would like to take her place on their daily strolls through Greenwich while eating ice cream cones

6. John Legend- I really don’t even need to make my remarks, you already know…. <3

5. Justin Timberlake- He can sing, he makes clothing, he runs successful restaurants, and did I mention he is beautiful? I think he has the total package — I would love nothing more than to go for one of those early morning LA runs in the mountains with him, just substitute me for JBiel.

4. Tom Brady- He’s flipped flopped with the ladies, but that’s ok, I forgive him. He’s now with Giselle, making them the two most envied people in America. I’m sure their child is going to be ungodly … isn’t that how it always works? Keep repping Massachusetts in football and I will reconsider the duration of my stay.

3. Eric Dane- Granted, he’s gotten into his fair share of deep water this year (cough a threesome cough) but I will say this much — he looks DAMN good in surgical scrubs. Rock on Eric Dane, rock on.

2. Shia LaBeouf- Ok, so maybe he bugged the shit out of me in Even Stevens — the curly hair, the fart pranks, I just didn’t dig it. Something happened, when he went through puberty, he became unbelievably hot. Maybe it’s his chain smoking, or the slovenly dress, or perhaps the broken arms from car crashes – I don’t know what it is, but I am in love. Shia, call me.

1. Ashton Kutcher- I follow him on Twitter… I follow Demi on Twitter…. I look at their Twitpics and envy her more than I should. He is breathtaking, philanthropic, and innovative. He tops my list, without a doubt.

Shia LaBeouf and that girl were being all cutesy on set of their new movie Wall Street 2 today, November 16. In between takes the duo chatted, smoked, and sneaked a quick kiss on the New York City set. Shia was busy filming a scene with Michael Douglas.

Now I’m happy for Shia and that girl (Carey Mulligan, I know), and I’m not bitter, I just think Shia should only be cutesy and adorable with me, in my dreams. Hahah, just kidding, Carey and he seem to really like each other and it’s nice they’re so comfortable taking their new-found relationship public, even if I’m not.
