My T&T shop photos are getting delivered, Takki mentioned about buying 3 copies of Tsubasa’s singles (one to listen to, one to listen in the car and one to preserve) – living up to his Tsuu-kun #1 fan status, I see xDD ♥♥ – and magazines will start featuring Tsubasa for his promotion soon. Kinokuniya, I’ll be there more often. Lalala~ xDD Then, this private LJ comm I joined started to upload T&T pictures after our exchange of “I miss T&T” in the comments. Hehe.

Though I’m so very tempted to buy [Takizawa Kakumei] DVD because a fansite offers to help buying it from Tackey Shop (with the exclusive charms/straps!!), I’m holding on. I’m waiting for a T&T release, currently researching on deputy service and whatnot to see chances to get Japan-residents-only stuff and/or JE tickets, and from what I found out so far, it’ll cost A LOT. Like, JE is already expensive, right, but this will hike it up more. *faints*

SO! I shall be strong. =x Oh, and I think I did find Takki-focused fans who are friendly. Hence my heart feels less heavy. ^^

Hyesung’s upcoming debut Japanese solo album previews are out and I’m very, very satisfied to hear that some songs are pretty strong in spite of its experimental sounds. I don’t really like [虹の向こう (Over The Rainbow)] when the preview first came out because it’s like a recycle of his old songs, no improvement. Though I do love his ballads, I was hoping for more ‘edge’ to his singing style/songs, so I’m very happy with the latest previews. Let’s hope it’ll only get better from now on. ^^v

Ryo will have his own movie (quite a silly storyline but I don’t mind because Ryo totally needs a break from his angst mould!!), Toma will start promotions for his, and Querbeet is releasing [Code Blue 2] on a regular basis. OH! And [YamaNade] gets better with each episode – Tego has more scenes too! ;DD – though the rating falls to a single digit. I’m done with [Tokyo DOGS] – KYAAAAAA~!! SHUNNN!!! Aaand a lively Hiro. More on this in my upcoming post, I guess? XDD

I got so emotional last night, ne.. Haha.

I decided not to dwell too much about it. Fans are generally selfish. I’m probably guilty of that at times, too, but I guess I’ll take comfort in knowing that I try to view things from a lot of side and I have my own way to support my fandom. Likewise, there are others who are of different opinions, so it’s best to let them be.

This fandom business is mostly made up of illusions and has the darkest shadow we easily miss, anyway. No one but the ones involved know what’s really going on behind all the distracting glitter.

Simple examples: Ryo didn’t go to Pi’s solo concert. Eric didn’t go to Hyesung’s first solo showcase, neither. Have they stopped becoming close friends? Maybe. Maybe not.

I’m a believer, so I shall continue being what I am and not be swayed. ^^v

I was telling twinneh just today at how I felt that Tsuba fans give off friendlier/accepting vibe more than Takki’s. I’m mostly a Takki’s fan but I do respect Tsubasa and the existence of their unit. Maybe it could be that I haven’t really been into the fandom too deep, but to come upon a sentiment as harsh as “unit activities will sabotage the ‘opportunities’ between Takki and his solo fans” and how Takitsuba fans already had 7 years and they only had 1 year… Whoa. I’m HUGELY disappointed. Like, really. It’s not surprising when I see the comments were by the same group of people who frequent another site I visit.

It made me wonder if there’s such a Shinhwa fan who feels the same. A solo fan only. How they see us 6-members fans getting all sad to see them off and excited for their comeback as a group, together. To despise such precious relationship between them. (Ahh ~ Yes. I remember there’s someone from this famous forum who is a one-member fan of Shinhwa, but I’m not sure if her hatred is to that level.)

I know my sentences are all over the place, but.. yeah. It’s just.. unbelievable. I obviously am having a hard time to comprehend this. More so because my favourite member in the unit is Takki but (so far) it seems like I’m in the minority who fully supports Takitsuba as well.

Now I totally get the agitation twinneh felt when she ranted about Tsuyo-only and Koichi-only fans. </3

I really feel mostly sorry for the guys. Since we won't know what truly lies in their hearts, I hope what they're doing currently and will be doing, solo or group activities, is because they themselves want to do it, not because of some higher-up people are planning a full-blown marketing strategy and whatnot.

Truth be told, I'm rather sick of these stupid manipulations in fandoms by the profit-glutton management, the attention-seeking media, and the power-hungry fans. I don't want to reach my limit especially for my JE fandom, so hopefully I'll be able to dismiss this ugly side of the pie and focus on the good, yummy, merry parts. Gambaru~!

Seperti yang kita semua udah tau kalo G Dragon emang dilahirkan dan ditakdirkan untuk menjadi seorang entertainer sejati, terbukti waktu usia 6 tahun aja doi udah tampil di beberapa kontes bakat anak-anak untuk menari dan menyanyi, selain itu dia juga pernah jadi model untuk pakaian anak-anak.

Nah, dari sinilah segalanya bermula, kebenaran akan segera terkuak ke permukaan, bumi gonjang-ganjing, Lee Joon punya tahi lalat kecil di leher kirinya dan Jae Bum hobi kentut di telapak tangan member 2PM lainnya…

Ternyata di waktu-waktu itulah G Dragon sedang berada di bawah asuhan Paman Lee Soo Man, sang empunya SM Entertainment dan doi pernah menjadi trainee di sana selama kurun waktu 5 tahun! Semuanya bermula dari ketika G Dragon sekeluarga sedang asik liburan di sebuah ski resort di mana waktu itu sedang ada audisi yang diadakan oleh SM Entertainment. Gak tahan buat joged dan pamer bakat terpendamnya, GD pun ngikutlah audisi tersebut dan diterima oleh pihak Paman SM.

Nah, setelah itu dimulailah hari-hari GD sebagai trainee, di mana jaman-jamannya boyband ShinHwa, HOT, BoA, dan SES sedang berjaya…

GD yang masih berbentuk bocah ingusan pun tentu saja masih belon ngerti yang namanya jadwal latihan dan semacamnya, jadinya doi datang untuk latihan dengan sesuka hati, seperti sebulan sekali atau bahkan 3 bulan sekali. Jadinya pihak SM pun sepertinya tidak terlalu peduli dan ingat dengan masa-masa itu. Tetapi jiwa keprofesionalan GD udah terbentuk dari kecil. Walopun doi sesuka hati untuk latihan, tapi tiap kali datang latihan doi tetap harus memperhatikan koreografi yang diajarkan dan dengan cepat menyerap pelajaran…

Tapi ya kalo bolos mulu mah, pelajarannya tetap aja bakalan lupa kan?! Dasar si GD! >_3<

Entah kenapa di usia 12 tahun akhirnya GD memutuskan untuk hengkang dan akhirnya pindah manajemen ke YG Entertainment…

Hmm, mungkin karena genre musik yang diusung Paman SM masih berbau-bau pop kali ya, makanya GD kurang dapet ilmu banyak tentang perhiphopan di sono… *sotoy*

Tapi THANKS GOD, GD memutuskan untuk keluar dari SM Entertainment! Yah, bukannya Wannyaa mengunderestimate Paman SM sih. Tapi para penguntit tau sendiri lah skandal yang lagi santer diberitain akhir-akhir ini soal kontrak kerja. Weeew bisa-bisa GD disuruh romusha selama minimal 13 taun tuh… Gak kebayang.

“First. I did not start off this thread because of jealousy – the Haptic CF etc. It’s too shallow. If you were to link the antis to the Haptic CF, the only thing is that, DBSK were accused of sexual harassing SNSD by their delusional fans. Let’s put their fans aside, even though they are utterly irritating and annoying just like their idols (you can easily search them up).

One of the first reasons that can put you off such a group like SNSD, is their image. Before you even look in to them in depth you find something deceiving and obscene. One must look at SNSD objectively (unlike the way their fans do) to notice it. SNSD are quite plainly put, marketed to young girls and 14-18 year old boys. There is no doubt they have odd stragglers from other demographics, but on paper that is who they are meant for. On the surface they are cute, bubbly and clean-cut, yet once you look deeper you see, everything from their dance moves, facial expressions and their outfits are chock full of sexual connotations.

The lollipops, the bending over dance moves, the high kicks, the childish behavior, their debut with their midriff tops and mini-skirts, they all scream sex. It’s utterly abhorrent. Don’t get us wrong we know that image has been used before, Morning Musume are an example from neighbouring Japan. But you need to know that this is Conservative South Korea, this music industry is also an escape of some international fans from their own sex-obsessed music culture.

SNSDs entrance in to the industry has also opened the paedophilia market and older men are perving openly to these so-called “innocent” girls. The image also, characterizes them as representatives of their Generation. “Sonyeo” is a term for a young unmarried woman, a role model for the younger generations. What kind of society needs a role model that characterizes women as only sex objects?

We’re not jealous. SNSD is just not friend material, and it’s okay not to be friends, but if a person’s personality is not just neutral and boring but also overbearing* and rude**, then that person’s status elevates from being “not a friend” to being that person whom people dread spending time with and talk about behind his/her back.

Meanwhile, SNSD MVs are usually filled with closeups of the girls doing cute things, like running around under a mushroom in Alice costumes or popping up with cute expressions (go to 1:24 and 1:26 in the Girls Generation MV where Yuri does some truly weird things). Except in Into the New World, there’s not much of a coherent story.

*In UFO interview (Part 4/05 on youtube, at around 1:20), Jessica answers the question, “Do you think you are all angels?” with “Yes, angels, because we are all pretty and kind.” Granted, that entire show was embarassing questions, but I reckon Jessica could have left the first part out. Then, on arirang radio interview, Tiffany said that “SNSD has 9 beautiful girls” when giving a description of their group. I think “talented” or something would have been a more fitting thing to say, but they decide to focus on looks. (Come on, if your classmate was the star of the school play and was trying to get you to come watch, would a reason she would give be, “Because my costars and I are gorgeous”? That may be the case with movies starring Angelina Jolie and stuff, but it’s not like you go around and proclaim that–I can tell that Angelina Jolie is hot stuff just by looking)

SNSD appeared at Sungmin’s DMB radio program as guests and they made fun of Shinhwa member JunJin. They called him “Justin Jinberlake” and Tiffany made a mockery of JunJin’s “Wa” dance from his solo performance, while other members were laughing and giggling.

On Happy Sunday program, there was a corner where two contenders tried to force each other to say “garbage” in order to win the game. On this day, SNSD’s Taeyeon sat across trot singer Park Hyun Bin and asked “What do you think of Shinhwa in Korea’s music industry?” In response, Park Hyun Bin said, “Garbage” in order to not lose to Taeyeon. However, SHinhwa member Kim Dong Wan was sitting next to them as a guest on the program. Both Taeyeon and Park Hyunbin were at fault. However, even if it was scripted, Taeyeon should have known better to not ask that question, instigating Park Hyunbin to respond unfavorably. Does it make sense to say this in front of a senior 10 years above herself?

-Tae Yeon came out on Kangin’s radio program and called him an “idiot” in korean so Kangin had to defend for Taeyeon and tell listeners she accidently mispronounced the word, and that she did not say that on purpose.

-On a show program Tiffany said “Lee Teuk” instead of “sonbae” when calling him to get his attention.
(In Korean there are two forms of speaking to someone and you must always formal speech when talking to elders–sunbaes.)

-SooYoung appeared on Star Golden Bell and lied that Lee Teuk only escorts girl trainees back home and accused him of being a player for which he got a lot of bashing for and a bad image in the media. This erroneous rumor spread like wild fire on the news.

-On Chin Chin Radio, Evan (a singer) appeared on Chin Chin radio and was talking with Sunny and Sungmin when Sungmin suddenly said, “Leeteuk is the same!” Then Sunny shot back “How dare you compare him with Leeteuk” = “How dare you compare Leeteuk to Evan?”

When asked what she didn’t like about the 1st album , Suhyun said she didn’t like the wigs they wore because Super Junior T wore it. Other members asked, “Was that the same one Shin Dong wore?”

Tiffany also said SNSD is not a unit and that many people think they are because of Super Junior. She said, “Some people are afraid that we might break up into groups like SUJU, but we are ONE. Same as what happened with SS501 and SUJU; some members of SNSD did not use formal speech when talking about DBSK and calling their names, like saying “Xiah Junsu” instead of “sonbae”.
- Jessica guest starred on Park Kyung Lim’s Outing. Park Kyung Lim asked Jessica who her favorite artist was and she said DBSK. Then Park Kyung LIm asked which member in DBSK she liked and she said “Jaejoong”, not using formal speech to say his name.
- Tiffany showed how witty she was by saying DBSK’s wave of red balloons looked like insects.
- SNSD fans were upset about the CF that SNSD did with DBSK so they accused DBSK of sexual harassment to give DBSK a bad image and creating a buzz in the internet.

I was constantly kicked in the head and was hit by balloons by SNSD fans. I got fed up and told them off “Stop it you bastards”. From that point on they started hitting my head with their fists. I remember exactly, there wasn’t just one person, but 5 or 10 that came to my seat and started beating me. SNSD fan girls were just looking at the scene and giggling….while some fans were so alarmed that they were talking of calling the police. I couldn’t defend myself and just patiently hoped that they would stop. When they left, I went over to the SUJU side to ask my friend for help. She took me to the hospital. When I awoke the next day at 2 in the afternoon, I found myself in a hospital bed with my mother humped over my bed, holding my hand tightly. I have bandages around my head…it seems like my head was ripped open.

6. Big Bang
SNSD made fun of Tae Yang’s real name “Dong Youngbae”, saying “What kind of name is that? It’s not even “Dong Young sang” They probably though they were so clever that they could rhyme Young bae’s name to the word for videos in Korean.

7. Epik High- Tablo
Taeyeon was on Kangin’s Chin Chin radio when she saw Tablo at the computer. She said, “Doesn’t he look like a leet “오타쿠” ?

(For those who don’t know what leet means, you can look it up in “Urban Dictionary”. But leet is an internet word that has evolved into referring to gamers or computer hackers who are stuck in front of their computers. But in Korean, it also has negative references to the Japanese.)

8. Happy Shares Company (만원의행복) show program
SNSD members were rude to the program PD (producer & camera man), intentionally hiding Yoonah (the guest) and giving her food to eat, which is against the rules on the show. When they were finally caught by the PD, they shook their head and said, “We didn’t do anything” and then at the end, blatantly admitted that Yoonah ate something.

The PD said, “For someone who is young, you shouldn’t do this, Yoonah.”

Yoonah replied, “I’m 18,” while blinking her eyes innocently.

Yuri, who was standing in front, said, “We are old enough ~” while Taeyeon grabbed the back of her neck and pretended to fall to the ground, expressing that what the PD said was not “fair”.

Obviously the PD had every right to speak his mind, and the way SNSD was treating him was very rude and inexcusable.

SNSD then performed the song “Girls Generation” that starts with quite fitting lyrics “Don’t make fun of me because I’m young…” (Then why don’t they just grow up?!)

9. Discriminating on show programs
On a weekend café program, SNSD called a trot singer “Sparkles” (referring to the bright sequined clothes they wear) and said, “Get money from Sparkles~”. The members delayed the serving the singer, saying amongst each other “I don’t like Sparkles”. They made their contempt for the singer evident while showing favoritism for some baseball players also at the café.

10. YoonA Disrespected Tei
YoonAh guest starred on Tei’s “Island” radio program. Tei greeted her with a full bow but Yoonha just gave a small bow as if greeting a B-list singer. Tei is not a B-list singer; he is one of the top ballad singers in Korea with a voice to die for.

11. Wonder Girls
- Soshi fans went to Wonder Girls’ fan signing
One SNSD fan went to the Wonder Girls’ fan signing and asked Sunye to sign “Right now is Girls Generation”. This fan also dared to post a picture of Sunye singing this online.

- Remarks related to Wonder Girls
Whenever SNSD asks “Do you like Wonder Girls or SNSD?”
they grow cold and silent towards people who say “Wondergirls”.
- SNSD girls did mic tests while Wonder Girls was rehearsing. (Couldn’t they wait until Wonder Girls finished performing? Why do they always have to be an interference?)

12. Tiffany disrespected Kim Ji Suk
As we covered this incident before actor Kim Ji Suk’s English was corrected on air by Tiffany and caused him embarrassment for the rest of the program. This is when Kim Ji Suk is fluent in English himself and he was raised in England and lived in the United States for some years as well!

13. Christmas Charity volunteer activities
For a Christmas charity event, SNSD planned to visit a nursery to take care of kids. However, SNSD was late for the event, leaving only 20 minutes to take care of the kids. And during this time, there were so many reporters at the scene that all SNSD did was to take pictures with the kids. (It was just a publicity stunt to enhance their fake image.)

14. When Nation Got Offended
Yuri made a slip of tongue, saying “My country” instead of “Our country” when referring to Korea, causing a national outcry.”
