Hi friends!
I am a big time anime fan, and if you are not one then you ought to be!

What is anime?
In the cartoon world, anime is term used to indicate Japanese cartoon. Also, I would like you all to know that anime is  a lot better than these English cartoons. Once I started watching animes, I was just amazed by their creativity and the way they illustrate their story. Its way better than that done in most of the English cartoons. So, I recommend all of you to start watching some popular anime series, and in no time you will start loving it. And don’t worry about your age. Actually children may find it difficult to understand the concepts of the anime, and its actually made for people of age 15  and more. Also, almost all of these anime have subbed versions available and thus you will have no problem watching it. Some popular animes also have english dubbed versions available, but personally I like the way they speak in Japanese itself, and hence I watch the subbed versions.

Did you know : Some of the famous cartoons like Pokemon, dragon ball series, full metal alchemist, etc are actually English dubbed anime!

Most of the animes are short, i.e. the whole series ends in a limited number of episodes. This number is generally seen to be ranging from as low as 12 episodes to as large as 100 episodes, or even more!

But there are also some animes that seem to be never-ending, and are being continued from many years. A typical anime episode runs for 30 minutes, but there are also some animes that run only for 15 minutes.
Anime is a really big industry in Japan.

Some of my favorite animes are : Death note, One piece, Naruto, Naruto Shippuuden, Bleach, Soul Eater, Code Geass, Fairy Tale, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Gintama, Monster, Cowboy bebop, Fate Stay night, and many more.

Before giving some information on some series, I would like to introduce you to a term called ‘manga’.

What is manga?
Manga is the name given to Japanese comics. One peculiar thing to be noted in mangas is that they are read from right to left. Almost all of the animes present have a manga version. Also, if the anime series is currently going on, then its most likely that the story has gone well ahead in its manga version. So if you are curious about the proceedings in the anime, just check for its manga version.

Given below are descriptions of some of my top favorite animes.

One Piece

One Piece takes the top spot in my rating for animes.

The theme of this series is pirate world. The story focuses on one particular pirate crew called ‘Straw hat Pirates’. All the pirates have one goal, i.e. to find the ultimate treasure of the world called ‘One Piece’.
The captain of Strawhat Pirates is Monkey D Luffy, and he is my favorite character. Luffy’s pirate crew has amazing members, and its real fun to see them in action. The jokes they crack is really cool. I must say hats off to creator of one piece, Eichoro Oda! And by the way, I just forgot to mention that currently one piece has about 430 episodes, and may I let you know that it feels as if the story is just about half way through complete! One more interesting fact is that in the manga the story has gone further ahead and consists of 560 plus episodes! I also can assure you that I am not bored of this anime one bit, but infact, I am going crazier day by day as the story is taking amazing proceedings. It is what I call a perfect anime. It has comedy, action, suspense, thriller, horrer, and what not! And each case has its own element of surprise. If want to spend your holidays at home, or if you are getting bored alone at a new place of work, this is the best anime  to watch. You will truely be in for a treat.

Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden:

Naruto is actually the first season whereas Naruto Shippuuden is the second season. This anime makes you get a real feel on ninjas. It exactly depicts how japanese people would like the world to know about ninjas. The first season contains about 220 episodes and its actually the best. Though Naruto Shippuuden rates slightly lower than the first season, I am sure once you have watched the 1st season, there is nothing stopping you from continuing watching. The second season is still going on, and currently has 140 episodes in it.

The storyline revolves around a boy called Naruto. What really amazes me in this anime is that they have been able to pull the story effectively up until now. And even if they actually finish up the story, they have not described the true life stories of a lot of important characters in the story, and thus they can continue with it to almost any number of years they wish. Just love this anime. The first season is really good with all the comedy and stuff. The second season is also equally good, but the element of comedy has drastically decreasd, as the story itself demands seriousness.

Bleach:
Although I somehow like this anime, I often get a feeling that the maker of this anime is himself clueless on the proceedings of the series. It has a record of having a large number of filler episodes in it. For your information, filler episodes are those which contain the same characters as in the anime, but it has a different storyline, and is not related to the original storyline. It is also expert in making really long fillers, which may need about 10 to 20 episodes to get completed! But I have to tell you that these filler episodes are also equally interesting.

Bleach deals with story about Death Gods, and how they maintain peace in the world. If you have time, its quite worth watching.

Death Note

This one is a completed series, and is quite an old anime. But the best part is that this anime is still occupying one of the top spot in the anime ratings! This anime deals with a fight of wits between a detective and a criminal. This anime is so good that you will watch the whole series at least twice. It contains 38 episodes which is divided into 2 seasons. I strongly recommend everyone to watch it. I can assure you that it is a true Japanese masterpiece!

Alas, it is yet another tragic moment for many Naruto readers, as one of the greatest villains, and simultaneously unsung heroes of the Narutoverse, falls.

These moments always have a greater impact in the anime, in my opinion, because there is more than just words and images that bring it to life, but also the sounds and the dark symphony that pushes everything along.

It also feels more final as well, which is one of the reasons I think it may feel more emotional to some people.

*hands out Kleenex tissues to Itachi fangirls*

Sasuke revisits a painful nightmare as he enters the place where his family died.

Now, in this particular instance, we start the episode with a flashback of the past once again and, once again, this episode is treated to some visual enhancement much like the first episode that began the confrontation between the two brothers.

I think it was fitting as well, especially considering what was showcased, as well as the importance of the episode, so it was definitely welcomed.

I just wish all the episodes were treated with the same production values, even though I know that would mean more costs and probably more time between episode releases.

This week on Cribs, we take a look at the Uchiha mansion. O_o

It almost makes you wonder who you should feel more sorry for, Sasuke or Itachi. For those who have read the manga, you could say both of them were forced into a corner and their actions were ultimately beyond their immediate control.

This flashback gives even those who disagree with Sasuke’s actions, a good injection of his emotions and life as it is seen through his eyes. It gives us an idea of why he feels the way he does and it also makes you question whether, put in his shoes, we would take the same course of action.

Now, for those of you who answered honestly, I think your answer may give you a better idea of Sasuke’s mindset right now. It’s easy to blame him, but we never question our own reaction if we were put in the same situation.

I personally do not agree with the concept of revenge, especially when it hurts innocent people in the process, but at the same time, I can say I understand the emotions that drive those kinds of actions, which makes Sasuke’s character as a whole, easier to relate to.

Makes you wonder who kept those fires alive and burning all this time. <_<

Moving further along in our flashback, we also get a glimpse of the secret shrine that Itachi told his brother about, the same shrine Sasuke later visited before learning about its secrets.

The true purpose of the Sharingan.

We also get another brief glimpse at scenarios that have already being touched on before, like Sasuke’s relationship with his parents and their growing confidence and pride in him.

To see that Sasuke was reaching the height of his bonds with them, only to have them stripped away, is quite a blow indeed.

After that, the real battle begins.

Epic scale no jutsu FTEW!!!

Getting back to where the action is, Sasuke finally reveals his most powerful technique, and the one he believes will end the battle.

Seeing what the technique entails, one would be hard pressed to argue with that notion. However, as always in a battle with Itachi, or with any shinobi for that matter, one should never assume he has acquired victory until the proverbial fat lady has sung.

Riding all your hopes on one single attack is almost asking for trouble.

Yes, you're right. There did used to be a big temple there.

That doesn’t stop that one single jutsu from looking impressive though, so it give us a good excuse to watch the fireworks.

I am glad to see that this jutsu was visually well done in the anime. There are some conversions that I was less than satisfied with (like Deidara’s C4) but this one turned out quite well.

But more importantly, and something I am sure most of you were more eager to see, was the appearance of Susanoo…

Sasuke, you cannot win. My emo powers are greater than yours.

Well, who would have thought it would be red?

I think Kishi has a thing for red, but then again, I guess it is fitting with the Sharingan itself. At first, we only see the skeletal form appear (manga readers will know the connection). Then the body begins to take shape around that, followed finally by the armor.

So I think it is safe to say that Susanoo likely has three stages of power, based on the strength of its user at the time. This notion is further supported by the fact that Itachi’s Susanoo reverted to an earlier phase after being weakened from battle.

In Sasuke’s weakened state, Orochimaru, whose psyche was previously suppressed by his host’s chakra, was able to reveal himself in the form of a giant hydra, starting a battle between the giants.

CHARGE!!!!!! slowly.... <_<

Now, I am not sure if anyone else noticed this, but the Hydra actually has 8 heads and 8 tails.

Now, if you look up any information on Japanese folklore and their relations to the tailed beasts in Naruto, you will actually find that the 8-tailed beast was originally a serpent with the same description, and was even named Yamata no Orochi.

I believe that this appearance of an 8-tailed, 8-headed hydra is Kishi’s way of acknowledging the original myths and when I first saw this in the manga, I actually though it might have actually been the Hachibi itself and that Sasuke had somehow become its host through absorbing Orochimaru.

Yep, he just said what all the rest of us have been thinking from the first time we saw Orochimaru. He's either coming out of something, or something's coming out of him. Either way, it's always yucky. >_<

Here’s some info from the myths found online. A lot of debates have taken place about the validity of this information but it does sound like quite a connection.

Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Yamata no Orochi is a Snake bijuu. It has crimson red eyes, eight heads and eight tails (also depicted to having trees and vines growing around them) and has the power of the Demon world, a symbol of evil. Each head of Yamata no Orochi represents a symbol: Soul, Ghost, Evil, Devil, Monstrous, Kill, The Afterworld and Death.

Its powers were originally weak, the members of  the Kusunagi Clan, when attacking it, acted carelessly, using the legendary sword Kusanagi no Tsurugi (Oro’s sword). Because of that, as a consequence, Yamata no Orochi takes the sword from them, absorbing the power contained inside, and becoming an incredibly powerful creature, and finally storing it in its body.

Just goes to show you how much thought goes into these stories that we never even take into consideration. For anyone who may want to read up on it more, it’s easy to find the info online. I cannot speak for the accuracy of it though, so don’t regard it as irrefutable lore.

After exchanging a few blows (with Itachi claiming most of the hits) Orochimaru finally reveals himself in person and, like any self proclaimed villain would, begins to blabber on about his impending victory.

And, like any other self proclaimed villain who is in the midst of a monologue, he ends up eating his own words along with Susanoo’s sword.

That pretty much ends what was quite a visually impressive battle, but what did you think of Susanoo?

Hmmm. Nope, I do not sense a brain. X__X

And so the battle between two brothers finally comes to an end, with a final show of contact shared between the two.

Itachi touching Sasuke’s forehead as he had in the past, brings everything around full circle and we also see him mouthing a few words that remain unknown to us for the time being. After that, he finally falls into darkness.

Even eyes consumed in darkness, see the light for one last fleeting moment. Just as even the darkest storm clouds allow the sun's gaze to shine through from time to time.

Well, that’s it for this episode.

It was definitely a good one and although it stuck largely to the manga in terms of the battle itself, it was still visually impressive and a great watch.

Hey everyone, and welcome to yet another weekly Naruto anime breakdown.

This weeks episode sees the battle between Sasuke and Itachi heating up a bit (quite literally) and we also get some added insight in the form of Zetsu, who takes on a far more descriptive role to make sure us simple minded folk no exactly who’s blowing fire at who.

For all our high expectations, I can say that for the most part this episode delivered and, even without the enhanced animation that is sometimes used, it still looked very impressive to behold.

See!!! I told you that you were gonna poke someone's eye out. I'm telling mom!!! T__T

So, in theory, we have everything we need to make an awesome episode of action packed goodness handed to us right on a platter. I think by now we all know the basic ingredients of a Naruto episode of this kind and that would be awesome action, great music, impressive jutsu and the typical flashbacks that we have come to expect.

Naruto awesomeness episode checklist: Do we have it all?

Awesome action? Check!!!
Dramatic music? Check!!!
Massive-scale jutsu? check!!!
Flashbacks? Che…. Hey wait, where are the flashbacks? O__O

And so, we finally manage to make it through an entire battle episode without a single flashback. It almost makes me wonder if I just overlooked it. X__X

It don't matter if you're black and white...

Anyway, enough of my blabbering. As far as the episode goes, things pretty much start where they left of without delay where Itachi decides that plucking out Sasuke’s eyes sounds like a fun idea.

It was pretty gross, but I guess that’s what happens in a battle like this, but luckily for Sasuke, he soon realizes it is all in his head and with some extra power from his cursed seal, he is able to break even the Tsukyomi’s hold on himself.

Like any weapon, the Sharingan's strength is measured by the one wielding it.

Now, I found this particular explanation by Zetsu’s own words to be particularly interesting and I think it is something we all need to take into consideration.

A shinobi’s jutsu and abilities, no matter what they are or how impressive they are in theory, are only as strong as the one wielding them. We’ve seen good examples of this in the series before like, for example, where Naruto used to spam his Kage Bunshin and just hurl them at the enemy en masse.

It was a more simple and inexperienced use of what is considered an otherwise very high level jutsu, compared to how much more effectively he uses even fewer numbers nowadays simply by thinking outside the box. It also shows us that even the strongest attacks are only effective if they are used correctly, while what can be considered to be far more simple attacks can be used to great devastation.

Urgh... That doesn't sound good. <_<

The above screen is a good example of that fact. The strength of a jutsu is largely based on how much power you can put into it or how well you use it and even a lower level jutsu can overcome something of a far higher class.

In the same manner Sasuke’s Sharingan managed to overcome Itachi’s Mangekyou Sharingan in this particular case.

A lot of debates have also been fought, where those involved try to use a person’s jutsu arsenal to back their argument as the sole factor and even I am guilty of that. However, a true shinobi can win a battle even if the odds are against them and if there is anything we have learned, Itachi is one such shinobi.

Escape velocity reached. Exiting atmosphere. O__O

Of course, that doesn’t mean he can’t still blow things up with a big bang, despite his setbacks. XD

The battle gets even more impressive the further it goes and I have to comment the animators on just how impressive the jutsu looked. It really was a pleasure to watch and explosions are always fun. ^ ^

That notion is further enhanced when Itachi’s Amatarasu comes into play…

Fighting fire with... emo fire... X__X

While Sasuke’s inferior katon jutsu clashes with Itachi’s awe inspiring Emotarasu, Zetsu gives a nice explanation about how the black flames consume anything that Itachi sets his eyes en, even fire itself.

For it to be able to consume something that doesn’t even have a physical form is, in itself, very impressive.

It also makes you wonder if that means it can also consume all forms of energy and mass, like lighting or even air? Would it consume a Rasenshuriken?

No, I will not lose!!!! I will not blink until my eyes fall out!!! (Itachi took the innocent staring contest a little too seriously). X__X

After consuming the very flames that sought to incinerate him, Itachi turn his eyes on his next target and we all know how bad that is for the poor soul falling under his gaze.

I actually wondered why he was having such a hard time hitting Sasuke if all he had to do was focus on him, but then I remembered just how bad his eyesight was. It also made me realize just how dangerous the jutsu would be if Itachi was at his prime with his vision still intact.

Sasuke shows Itachi that he isn't the only one with impressive looking jutsu. (No pun intended).

However, despite the seemingly successful hit, it is quickly discovered that Sasuke had safely managed to escape and gain ample time to form a counter attack.

I wonder if the big flaming dragon gave it away. <_<

After that, both combatants admit that they have already run out of chakra, leaving it open as to whom could win the battle, but a wry smile from Sasuke tells us that he has something up his sleeve and he quickly confirms that suspicion with a declaration of victory, as he announces the arrival of his most deadly attack.

Ominous storm clouds fall across the sky, enshrowding the sun's gaze in a dreadful, heart wrenching darkness. In such a show of anger and dread, even the wind dares to whisper of the cruel fate yet to come to pass as the battle draws closer to its end.

And that pretty much sums up this episode.

With a consistent pace, a surprising lack of flashbacks and very little time stretching, I can’t really fault it in any way. However, it did stick largely to the manga this time around, for better or for worse, so for those who read the chapters weekly, it may not bring anything new to the plate that they weren’t already expecting.

However, it is still good to see such a great battle in motion, so I hope you all enjoyed it.

the long awaited special is finally here. Naruto Shippuuden special (episodes 135 through 136) was aired today. The episodes focuses on the Uchiha Brothers and the history of the Uchiha clan, the greatest occular jutsu, the introduction of the amaterasu, the childhood of Itachi, Sasuke, and Madara. Madara is further introduced in the special with scenes featuring him and his brother and how he got the ulltimate occular jutsu. The episodes also show why the nine tailed demon fox or kyuubi attacked Konoha, the founders of Konoha, the sacrifice one must make in order to attain the mangekyo sharingan and why Itachi attacked his clan. In this episode, Madara is formally introduced as the founder of the Akatsuki.

Overall the special was great, it recompensated for the lame episode last last week. It was so exciting and I cant wait for the next episode

As I looked down, I noticed the corners of his lips curl upwards into…a smile?
 
He raised his arms – the fingers still broken and bent at impossible angles – and grabbed my cold, granite skin in a vicelike grip. I tried to dislodge it, but his grasp was incredibly strong.

He squeezed. The pressure was so great that it broke the bones in my forearm in several places.
 
I screamed in pain!
 
Confusion set in. How on earth was this possible?! I had never encountered a person whose strength could even begin to compare to that of a vampire’s, let alone surpass it entirely. It was unheard of!  Not for the first time today, I began to wonder if this boy was entirely human.
 
“Who ARE you?” I managed to gasp, looking into his cold, pale, deadly calm face, searching for any hint or feature that would give away his identity.

When he responded, the very sound of his voice froze me into place. I could not fight against him, such was the hold he held on every fiber in every muscle of my body.
 
“Uchiha Sasuke.”
 
The name meant nothing to me – before now, I had never heard of a person named Uchiha Sasuke, nor could I recall ever giving this person reason to pursue me.

“And what do you want with me?”
 
He looked me full in the face then, and all I could see in that moment of time were his eyes. They pulsed a brilliant crimson, with several…comma’s, I think…that spun at a rapid pace around his pupil.
 
“Nothing to do with you personally,” he said in a casual tone, his eyes never once leaving mine. “I’ve never fought against one of your kind before. I’m testing my limits, you might say.”
 
“Against a vampire?” I asked incredulously, shocked at this human’s apparent disdain of my kind. “A bit risky, don’t you think?”
 
“Perhaps I should remind you which one of us has the other trapped against a tree? You are delusional if you believe yourself to have the higher ground in this particular match-up.”
 
He was right, of course. I was trapped, unable to move, pain shooting up from the broken bones in my arm, the constant pressure from his grip preventing the venom in my system from healing my injuries. He sensed my discomfort and laughed.
 
“Don’t worry, Edward. Physically, you are untouched. In fact, neither of us have moved since you first caught sight of me.”
 
Two things immediately sprang to my attention about those peculiar statements. Firstly, we had just come to the conclusion of a considerably violent encounter. I had been “moving” for the past ten minutes straight. What exactly did he mean by that?
 
And secondly: how did he know my name? We are secretive; being vampires forces us to be. We leave no traces, no clues. We vanish before any suspicion can arise. How, then, did this human – a boy! – not only know about vampires, but also my name as well?
 
“It doesn’t matter how I know,” he spoke, waking me from my thoughts. “Your secrets are safe with me. I don’t trouble myself with the private affairs of others, and after today you’ll never see me again. In fact, you won’t even remember this meeting once I leave.”

“What did you mean when you said, ‘we haven’t moved since I saw you’?”
 
He smiled, then tapped me on the forehead. “You’ve been in an illusion of mine since you first noticed my eyes change colour.”
 
My mind flashed back to the moment he first drew his sword and I had prepared to strike, to the instant when I noticed his eyes had changed from deep black to dull crimson. “Since then? But…you mean…this entire time…?”
 
“Yes,” he whispered. “Since that moment.”

I couldn’t speak; such was the terror I felt on account of this child. He was the perfect counter to us vampires. If there were any others like him-

“There are, Edward,” he spoke, the words sliding from his lips like silk. ”I expect that the worlds of vampires and shinobi will collide soon, however I doubt I’ll be bothering myself with such a trivial and short-lived battle.”

“Then why did you seek me out?” I growled, more to hide my intense worry than to intimidate.

He shrugged.

“I might not have the opportunity in future,” he said nonchalantly. “Either way, I would like to thank you for this opportunity to test myself. It was a good fight, even if you won’t remember it. I have learned much.”
 
Then he closed his eyes and my entire world was swallowed by darkness.

I opened my eyes.
 
I was lying facedown in the grass, surrounded by trees. I felt the soft pattering of raindrops as they fell upon my head. I had no idea how I’d gotten here, but I could not afford to rest.
 
Pushing the weirdness of the situation aside, I stood up and gazed out towards the horizon once more. I knew not where Victoria was, but I would find her. Bella would not be safe till she was dead.

Killer bee se transforma no bijuu e tenta escapar enquanto segurando Sabu-chan e Ponta. Mas a água se move com Kisame no centro, então se ele nada atrás deles, eles não conseguem encontrar o ar.
Então Killer Bee sugere que já que o Kisame está atrás dele, ele os deixará e tentará escapar por sí, então a água se moverá e eles alcançarão o ar. Mas Kisame ataca Ponta.
Killer Bee volta para o resgate, e cai na armadilha de Kisame, que o ataca com a barbatana e o leva de volta a uma versão mais baixa do Bijuu.
Killer Bee libera um único tentáculo e o usa para agarrar Kisame e joga-lo para longe.
Enquanto isso, Sabu-chan e Ponta saem da água
Killer Bee diz algo sobre a espada de trovão, mas por sugestão do Hachibi, apenas solta tinta para escapar.
Mas a fusão de Samehada/Kisame pode sentir o chakra pela pele e ele ataca Killerbee com a barbatana

Kisame cancelou o Suiton e a fusão, e se aproximou do Killerbee, caído e sem se mexer. Ele tenta cortar suas pernas mas Samehada agarra a terra para proteger Killerbee
Espinhos saem do cabo, forçando Kisame a larga-la, e Samehada pula para perto do Killerbee
Samehada gostou tanto do chakra de Bee que quer que ele seja seu novo mestre. Ela tenta curar Killerbee com o chakra roubado de Kisame, mas Kisame a chuta para longe
Kisame agarra uma espada de Killerbee encravada no chão, e se prepara para mata-lo.

Fu: "Se uma ameaça está no olho é invocado automaticamente hm? Um jutsu que vocês pensado no que é popularmente chamado de processo de troca de corpo… eu nunca pensei que seria tão simples… Quando eu revi o olho, o olho que tem utilizado desta técnica, meu olho é inútil… você sabe disto não é? "
Ao: As ordens de " Danzou…? o que é aquele pensamento " de subordinado?

Fu: Este único olho meu é um pequeno preço a pagar para reduzir o potencial de Kiri de tanta guerra. A barreira está fazendo isto impossível agora mesmo, mas ainda… “Posso tentar, enquanto eu preciso”
Ao: "O que ele está planejando fazer?"
Fu: "Se eu pular daqui, não vou ser capaz de tirar a cabeça fora. Se o olho é impossível, não há nada, mas tendo a cabeça inteira de volta a Konoha."
Fu – usa o corpo de Ao e escala uma árvore, pronto para saltar.
Ao: " Ele está planejando para morrer "?
Fu: "Não, quando a cabeça está prestes a sair, eu vou cancelar o Shintenshin… De qualquer forma, você vai morrer… Uma vez que eu estou de volta em meu próprio corpo, eu vou voltar aqui e tomar sua cabeça."
Ao: "Oh, bem… Se você está indo fazer algo como isso, você tem que tomar cuidado… Se você fizer isso você vai falhar."
Fu: "O que você quer dizer?"
Ao: "se você começar mesmo um pouco assustado e cancelar a técnica cedo demais, eu definitivamente vou me defender contra a foice. Supondo que eu não vou morrer… quando você voltar para pegar minha cabeça, nossa situação vai ser invertida, você acha?"
Fu – usa o corpo de Ao para agarrar a foice. Ele pretendesse e cai.
Parte 4
Kisame: “Esta é a primeira vez Samehada que se tornou grande.” Parece que não está de bom humor.
Oito-Caudas: "Deixe-me sair também, muda sua forma Bee para de besta com caudas!"
Killer Bee: "Não idiota! Este tipo! Com oito caudas, nossos ataques são muito poderosos, eles vão devastar todo o ambiente. Sem falar que Sabu-chan-sensei e pontes estão aqui conosco. Além disso, eu finalmente consegui esconder o meu corpo. Se eu deixá-lo sair, seria como dizer ‘aqui, aqui é o Bijuu de oito caudas que você procura!
Oito-Caudas: "Está mal, não é Bee" O que você vai fazer? Você vai usar a versão 2?
OBS: [Talvez a versão 1 é simplesmente o manto, enquanto a versão 2 é a manto preto (como Naruto na forma de quatro caudas)]
Killer Bee: "No entanto, na troca de golpes antes, ele roubou quase todo o meu chakra… me emprestar algum de você!"
Oito-Caudas: "Hmpf, sem mim, você teria sido derrotado há muito tempo"

I landed a few feet away, then charged at him again. As expected, he sidestepped quickly, dodging my attack.

I smiled. I had been expecting this.

I twisted gracefully in mid-air, brought my right knee up to my chest and sent my foot thundering towards the boy in an incredible burst of power.

I should have known that he’d anticipate this. He danced backwards just out of my reach, taking the opportunity to swing his sword once more. He was aiming to sever my leg at the knee. I growled and pulled up short, the sudden and uncompensated change in weight distribution throwing me off balance.

I landed on the ground awkwardly, using my hands to push up off the ground to guide my still falling body into a standing position.

As I rose, I noticed his hands moving in a blur in front of his body. They seemed to be forming several different shapes. I had no idea what it was he was doing.

All of a sudden he raised his hands to his lips and it became all too apparent what he was up to.

“Katon: Ryuuka no Jutsu!” he yelled, as a sudden and violent stream of fire burst out from his mouth and flew towards me at an unbelievable speed!

Only my inhuman reflexes saved me. I dodged–barely!–and leaped to the side. I caught the scent of burning leather and a quick look at my designer jacket alerted me to the source of the smell. I swore aloud.

What the hell?! There was only one being was I aware of that could manipulate fire, and he was a vampire. Either way, I had never seen a concentrated stream of that ferocity before!

He took the sudden opportunity my confusion offered and rushed at me, blade in hand, still sheathed in that strange electrical energy that…chirped like a bird? It was almost amusing.

I forced myself to be calm, drawing in a quick lungful of air as I prepared to defend against him. I eyed the muscles in his arms, predicting the path of his sideways stroke. I stepped back, evading the blade as it passed within an inch of my stomach.

I had had enough of being on the back foot. I was the predator; I would be the one leading this attack, keeping my opponent on his toes.

I darted forward, clenching my fist and thrusting it towards his face. He saw it coming and dodged, then brought his blade back up and aimed at my wrist. I pulled back and rushed him from another angle. He sidestepped the attack and attempted to slice me in half. It was useless; by the time the sword was just about to strike, I was no longer there.

The cycle continued: I would attack from one angle, he would defend, and I would attack from another. I was searching for an opening from which I could launch an attack, and if I kept at it long enough I was sure to find one-

There!

I had finally been able to manoeuvre myself behind him. There was no way he could dodge, no matter how fast he turned, but it was not safe to take any chances. I leaped at him and swiped, the fingers of my hand extending into stone-solid claws. He started to turn.

This’ll be close.

With an instantaneous burst of speed, he spun, eyeing my hand as it closed in on his face. There was no way he could move in time! It’s too late!

His head snapped back.

NO!

It was a glancing blow. It just grazed his cheek, but at that speed I was still able to take out a sliver of skin and flesh from him. He leaped back, calmly raised a hand to his face and pulled it away, observing the spattering of blood that coloured his fingers a deep and extremely delicious shade of red.

I was a vampire. Blood had been spilt. This was a whole new battle. I felt the muscles in my body go tense, ready to spring, my stomach twisting in hunger. I was suddenly ravenous, and my body was preparing to facilitate that hunger. Venom filled my mouth in an attempt to sooth the burning in my throat as I crouched down, preparing once more to attack this stranger who had thus far evaded death at my hands. He would not continue doing so much longer.

My opponent must have noticed the difference in me, too. He twirled the blade in his hands and pointed it at me, red eyes glowing, as he spoke a stream of words at me that I could not understand. It meant nothing to me. Nothing did, except the delicious flow of red that dripped down from his cheek, spattering his chest.

I couldn’t contain myself any longer. I flew towards him, a snarl tearing itself from my throat. He leaped back, bringing his fingers to his mouth once more.

“Katon: Housenka no Jutsu!” he howled, and a blistering rain of fireballs erupted from his mouth and swarmed towards me. I dodged them all as they came, sidestepping each with the ease and grace we vampires were known for. It was child’s play. The attack hadn’t even broken my stride.

I looked up, arm outstretched, fingers reaching for his throat, and noticed the corners of his eyes tighten. The predator in me rejoiced, glorying in his apparent frustration.

My fingers found their mark.

I roared in triumph, wrapping my fingers around the delicate membrane of skin that encased his neck. I could feel the warmth of his blood pulsing underneath my fingertips, sending a tingling sensation up my arm and throughout my body.

Any shred of self control I had vanished. I picked him up and slammed him against the nearest tree. I heard several satisfying crunches as a few bones fractured from the impact. He eyed me fiercely, dropping both his hands to chest level and moving them quickly into various shapes. I swatted at them with my free hand, breaking the bones in most of his fingers. I wouldn’t be falling for that one again.

I wasted no time. I was hungry. I drew back my hand and thrust it through his chest, embedding it deep within the wood of the tree with a dull thunk. He instantly slumped, a torrent of blood gushing out from him and drenching me in its warmth. That’s when I noticed the strangest thing…

Hey everyone, MsMandi here covering for Tenrai who is out for the week. First off I want to say last weeks episode had me bawling like a baby. This week however was an exciting set up for things to come…so let’s get on with it shall we?

This week we start off  with the 5 paths of pain that are left staring over the water where Jiraiya disappeared. Pein says that the legendary sennin is no more, and that if they hadn’t had their secret, they would not have won. Then quite suprisingly Pein says “Let us praise him as our teacher.” Now when he says that does he mean that he respected his teacher but he had to kill him anyways? What do you think?

Then Pein tells Zetsu that he can come out, and he pops out from a wall. Right away Zetsu starts having his multiple personality discussion. Saying that it took Pein awhile to kill Jiraiya, and his other personality say he was fighting Jiraiya….I almost expected him to slap the white side of his forhead and go DUH!!

Pein goes on to say that he is under orders from Madara to catch the Nine Tails and Zetsu says he’d love to see the Kyuubi get captured and wants to hang with Pein while he goes after Naruto. Black Zetsu gets all pissy and says no I wanna go watch another battle…dun dun dun…Whitey asks which one and well we jump to Team Hebi…so i’m pretty sure we all know what battle is coming up.

Anywho, Hebi minus Sauske are hanging out in the woods wondering if their leader is ok. They seem to think that the first Akatsuki hideout is where Itachi will be found. Suigestsu hints that Itachi might be stronger than Sauske, and Karin says there is no way. They talk about making a plan in case anything goes bad. Karin goes into obsessive, fangirl, protective mode and says she’s going in to check it out. Water boy goads Karin about her going overboard when it comes to Sauske, and she freaks out and calls him an idiot. Juugo sends his birdy friends off to watch for enemies….On a side note, does Juugo remind anyone else of Ace Ventura?

Meanwhile  Naruto’s kage bunshins are all off chasing the birds that are flying Sauske’s scent everywhere. Naruto gets depressed, Kiba and Saukura give him a pep talk and he increases the number of his clones. The Konoha 8 continue to look for Sauske and Sauske himself is checking out the Akatsuki hideout. Out of the darkness someone says “So you’ve come.” Sauske wants to know who is there and well…..Guess who?

Hi little brother! Come to kill me?

 

Yepperooni, it’s Itachi. The Uchihas have a nice brotherly discussion about how much Sauske hates him, we have a flashback of when little Sauske got smackdown by big bro then Sauske says his brother doesn’t know anything about him anymore. Then the younger Uchiha does a little quick running and catches Itachi with an interesting version of his Chidori.

Oooh fireworks! Oh wait no! It's chidori!

 

He goes on about his hatred and how it’s made him stronger…bla bla bla…Anyone else getting tired of hearing about Sauske’s hatred…cause I am.

Anywho, he releases the chidori and Itachi falls to the ground, blood dripping from his mouth. He compliments his brother on his strength, not something an evil bastard would usually do leaving Sauske looking more than a little bit stunned. Then the elder Uchiha who was apparently just a clone breaks up into a murder of crows….and yes, a murder is what you call a group of crows..don’t believe me? Go google it…Jeesh, there is no trust with you people is there…JK JK.

Now you see him, and now ya don't....

 

As the crows fly away Itachi tells Sauske to meet him at the Uchiha hideout alone, where they can settle the score once and for all. As crow feathers fall all around him the rest of his team runs up, worried. He bitches them out saying he told them to stay put. Water boy says they got worried cause Karin sensed another chakra. Sauske turns, and with determination in his eyes he tells them to move out.

At the Valley of the End, Madara sits and watches a hawk catch a poor little fishy. He comments that Sauske is coming along nicely, and wonders if he will emerge as a snake, or transform into a hawk…..Hebi…Taka….hmmmm.

Then we go back to team Hebi who is heading towards the hideout for the long awaited showdown. Karin comments about one chakra being all over the forest. Suigestsu asks if they should change course and Sauske says to ignore it. They forge ahead and guess who they run into….one of Naruto’s shadow clones! Oh m g this is the closest Naruto has been to his long lost friend in how long? Sauske busts out a chidori, making the clone go poof  but not before doing the trademark yelling of Sauske’s name. Karin wants to know wtf that was, and water boy tells her it was a clone. Sauske calls Naruto a pest and the light bulb flickers over Karins head. Multi-Shadown clones, the explanation of the chakra she’s been feeling.

Back at the Konoha 8 Naruto gets the info from his clone, and every switches direction to chase after Sauske. Hebi, running across rooftops get stopped by a familiar face. Our favorite fish boy, Nemo!!…..erm….Kisame

Kisame tells the team that only Sauske can go any further on Itachi’s orders. Sauske says ok but Karin says that he can’t. That they should take Kisame down together and continue on after Itachi. Kisame says that he has no intention of fighting but if they want to continue he will show no mercy.  Sauske tells Karin to stay, that it’s his vendetta and takes off. Suigetsu and Kisame have an exchange, apparently Kisame knew water boys bro . Suigestsu doesn’t wanna just stand around and wait for Sauske, so he asks Kisame if they can spar. Kisame agrees but Jugo and Karin tell Suigetsu not to be stupid and follow Sauske’s orders.

All the while Naruto and the rest of the Konoha nin are on their tail, that is until…..

Boo!

 

Up pops Madara, acting as Tobi, scaring the crap out of Naruto and causing him to fall on his booty. He is recognized as a member of the Akatsuki….oh if they only knew. They stand there analyzing him, and Madara looks at Naruto who is smiling…from being comes a shadow clone and passes right thru the Akatsuki member.

We jump back to Suigetsu who is playing with Kisame. Karin get pissed and Jugo tells her it’s ok cause there is no one coming according to his birdy friends. Then Karin notices that the Konoha nin have stopped chasing them.

Back to Naruto trying so hard to get at Madara, but gets punched in the face for his troubles. Hinata goes OMG and Sakura tells her to chillax. Madara wants to know what game they want to play and Naruto tells him that they don’t have time. They attack Madara with Formation B which consists of Sakura throwing Naruto into the air as a distraction while Sakura, Kiba and Akamaru attack in different directions. Except turns out, the Naruto tossing bit was really a distraction from the distraction of the attack as Naruto busts out a Rasengan and pounds Madara into the tree. Here we get to see some of Madara’s jutsu work as he sinks into the tree right before Narutos impact and popping back out as the dust clears. Then he goes off to intercept Kakashi. Kakashi tells them to seperate and go after Sauske but Madara uses his jutsu to stop everyone, looking alot like that game Whack-A-Mole that they used to have at Chuck E. Cheese. And then to reinforce it he actually names it that….*facepalm*

They regather and try to figure out what to do next. They decide to go with Formation A and then it jumps back to Sauske who is on his way to face his brother.

Left 4 Dead 2 chega com um trailer novinho em folha. Confira a carnificina que é o jogo:

Vem de cara nova com cenários, mapas, sobreviventes, armas e tipos de zumbi (Resident rsrs) novos. Vem com uma plataforma  mais avançada, com inteligência artificial aprimorada com o software AI Director 2.0. (o que isso qeur dizer tio du?!?!? Sei la rsrs mas deve ser bom rs).

Tambem foi disponibilizado no game o modo “Realismo”, a Valve revela um vídeo desse modo, desenhado para os viciados de plantão em jogo de tiro (jony X rs).

Imaginem que os Pacotes de saúde foram trocados por desfibriladores, é nescessario precisão nos tiros na cabeça para acabar com os mortos-vivos e até a proximidade entre jogadores e itens diminuiu para que eles consigam apanhar as coisas. O numero de zumbis  é maior e os  superpoderosos também. Veja!

Embalado em God of War e Dante’s Inferno, chega mais um game épico…essa é mais rapida que aérolitos no Chapolin…

Sendo produzido pelo estúdio Vigil Games, da THQ, Darksiders: Wrath of War vem com tudo, com arte dos personagens feita por Joe Madureira e graficos absurdos. Confira algumas artes conceituais do game:

Com lançamento para 8 de janeiro, o game se passa em um mundo pós-apocalíptico, onde o jogador poderá usar tanto armas modernas como mitológicas, tudo isso controlando o quarto cavaleiro do Apocalipse, ninguém menos que GUERRA. De acordo com oráculo (google), Guerra desce a terra para descobrir quem disparou o apocalipse prematuramente.

De acordo com o Omelete, que  experimentou o game, ele esta com cara de God of War misturado com os chefes de fase de Zelda . O game será lançado para Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3. Veja abaixo alguns trailers e vídeos do game:

Sei que a maioria pode não  curtir games assim, mas eu particularmente adoro esse tipo de jogo (sei que é clone de God e tal) e a história me parece interessante. Bom só jogando pra dizer, vamos aguardar sair.
