It’s not great but I hope it illustrates some of what I was trying to explain in my previous post in regards to experimenting with light, shadows, reflection and the patterns. Just to remind you it’s the PIR unit I’m using as the light source and it turns off when it cannot detect movement hence it going dark a couple seconds into the video:

It’s magical and playful. It’s weirdly whimsical, with a fun sort of dream-logic to it. The elements follow one another in a way that kind of makes sense, but at the same time, they aren’t explained. They just are…dude. Surreal.

“PAGBABAGO! People’s Movement for Change” will have its founding assembly tommorow 1PM at the University of Makati. PAGBABAGO! is a new movement that gathers concerned citizens who desire meaningful change in our society.

Here’s PAGBABAGO’s “call for action” video which will be launched tommorow. Directed by Emil Mercado, overall coordination Lengua De Guzman, with script written by Bibeth Orteza and Onin Tagaro. Various organizations participated in making this video: youth organizations, communities in the North triangle, National Housing Authority employees union, and farmers from the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas.

Some of the video’s footage were taken a day before the police’s violent dispersal of the farmer’s camp-out at the House of Representatives.

sketch for “tales of the digital immigrant”. I found this lovely rendition of Stairway to Heaven played on glass harmonica. A very bad recording but I hope to use get close to the mood of this recording when all the clips are made and rendered.  The key and wings and tree are Maya generated.

The thing is that there are many things that are preventing me to do so.  I feel really awkward if my parents and my siblings saw me do something and they are like “WTF?”.  I also want to do it somewhere quiet because my grandma always watches TV on the living room and that’s where I’m suppose to be broadcasting from.

If you guys want to know why I want to make a vlog, it’s because I checked everyone else’s videos and they look really awesome.  Instead, I want to make mines kind of comedic like vlogs and I cut each of them for a short funny video clip relating to the last words I said to the audience.  Not only that I want to be famous on Youtube, I also want people to see my funny side because honestly, I am always like a professional always doing nothing, but do my work especially around my friends.  I just want people to see that I’m not like that all the time.  I’m actually different.

Side of that, I’m really drowsy.  I just woke up from sleeping at 12 in the afternoon because I haven’t slept at all.  I still feel week though.  Oh, and my mom didn’t have work so I had to help her pack stuff in for Fresno.  OMG it is like so exhausting.  Seriously, I just fell asleep.  

Speaking of Youtube, I wrote a comment from this video which is really awesome and I want you guys to watch it.  It’s the pianist Yiruma playing River Flows in You.  What pissed me off was that many people in the comments section put like Twilight about it like is this Bella’s Lullaby or this should be the song instead.  I mean really guys this music is too good for that kind of crap.  I like that book, but people try to keep bringing it up.  It’s like a conflict that we want to get it over with, but they keep bringing it up.  Anyways, after I wrote it, I checked back to see what people reacted and I got a -1 from couple of minutes later.  Now couple of hours later I got +10 and I checked recently and got +11.  I’m like “Oh Shit!”.  I didn’t know it was that good.  I’m like saving comments on Youtube or anything online that people thing were really good and taking a picture of it.  If you want to see it for yourself, here’s a picture on the right:

Anyways, I want to make a comedic vlog right now.  I think I’m mostly going to make it during the night so it will be much easier for me.  I got everything like a backup laptop and my camcorder.  It just needs me.  I’m going to go out now guys, I’ll see you later.

For many of us, failure is simply NOT an option. I personally am in that group. When my job dissolved I was forced to consider a whole new set of options, and the Internet in all appearances was the place that provided the best hope for a steady paycheck.
