It’s 14th of this month and I’ve played whopping 8 days so far – 57.1%. That’s bad. Few things going on and I’m really not in kind of sensational mood to play so I’m giving my shit  in hope to get back that passion I had 15 days ago…

Since there’s no interest for my blog, from now on I’ll update it every two weeks/every 2nd Monday as I fuckin’ hate, hate, hate this day so I guess I should avoid any hit of poker until it’s over and until I see Tuesday blinking on my calendar. No, I’m not on tilt, I’m not in any kind of bad mood and I definitely don’t hate poker lol. Just Monday

I failed in making $2,000 on NL20 last month because my volume was too low and variance was too high. But I still managed to make $1,200 in less than 70 hours of work so I guess that’s solid.

And this month… Well, I doubt, I really doubt that I’ve ever played under 15,000 of hands up to 15th. No volume, I repeat, no fucking volume. Like I’m single tabling or something and that’s not what I’m looking for. I want to finish some ongoing bonuses, few bucks here, few bucks there and then my destination is HeyPoker (Ongame network) where I got really sweet deal. I hope that will inspire me to put myself on the road of grind.

In his first game as a Hurricane, rookie Jake Weidner almost matched his point total that he accumulated in 24 games with the Listowel Cyclones.

Weidner scored 3 pts. vs. Brantford

Weidner who was acquired earlier this week along with fellow rookie, Blair Goss (for veterans Dan Mohle and Ken Rolph) was solid all night winning critical faceoffs and buzzing on a line with Martin Kudla and Mike Iacocca against the high flying Branford Golden Eagles.

Meanwhile Brantford through 46 shots at Hurricanes goaltender Chris McDougall and Josh McQuade added 4 points (3 goals and 1 assist) to his league leading point total in an exciting 5-4 win over Guelph.

This game featured powerplay goals, a short handed goal, a penalty shot, Guelph killing off a 5-3 and a fight.

Even though Guelph didn’t win the battle, they looked solid and may have picked up some information that can help them win the war, if these two team meet in the first round of the playoffs.

Tomorrow night the Hurricanes travel to Listowel to take on the Cyclones in a home-in-home series that concludes when these two teams play Saturday night (7:30 pm) at The Sleeman Centre.

Remember to tell your friend that it is Kids get in Free night Saturday. With each adult admission they can bring up to 4 children ages 0-13.

This month is full of abnormal swings in my game. There’s absolutely no chance to start session without going down few buy ins. Same thing happened today and it was culmination of last three days where I’m running like crap.

Meh, I was lazy to blog something as there wasn’t anything spectacular to write about. New month is here and I started to play again. I will spend some time on NL20 because I cashed out something but more importantly because I found some serious leaks in my game and I want to eliminate them before going up again. So that’s my first goal and my second for this month is $2,000 net solely on NL20 shorthanded (+ $500 in bonuses). If I fix my leaks and when I successfully implement new things in my game before November 15th I will probably be on decision to keep grinding NL20 to reach my $2,000 goal or to move up to NL50. I don’t want to think about that now…

I’m sorry for my absence. I wasn’t feel hyped to blog something. I played almost every day but not so long sessions. I was working on my game every day, few hours daily. I gotta say something more about Fresh start subject; as you probably know I play on bwin poker. I’m member of b’inside, bwin’s loyalty program where I can spend my b’inside market points to buy stuff like LCD’s, poker chips etc. and most importantly – cash. There are three loyalty levels. Green, White and top one – Yellow. For this example let’s say you rake $100. If you are green you will get 10,000 market points to spend as $1 is worth 100 market points. White member can get better rate with 20,000 market points for that raked $100 ($1 = 200 points). And, Yellow one, the best option of course, will get 30,000 market points at 300MP/$1 rate. And now if you want to spend your points to buy cash (rakeback/cashback) you will get this rates of your rakeback:

Green – 5%-6%, White – 10%-12%, Yellow 15%-18%

I know, I know, now you will say “Only 15%-18%?! WTF?” and I will answer – “Bonuses!”; on top of this loyalty program every player on bwin can enter bonus code in his poker account to activate his bonus. There are $50 bonuses all the way up to $1,000. Just choose what you want to clear. If someone wants to know more about this bonuses feel free to say that and I will write about ‘em. I wasn’t playing for some time, I was tilting too much at Everest poker and I moved my bankroll back where I started – OnGame network. I’m playing there last three days including today and it’s going fine just like it was before I moved to Full Tilt and Everest.

OnGame’s shorthanded tables are 5 max. not 6 max and I’m feeling perfect while I’m playing there. New software was pure crap when it was released but now, after numerous updates, it’s working fine enough to play with no problems. And the biggest issue – closing tables – is gone.

As the subject implies, it came the sun when I moved my bankroll from Full Tilt to Everest poker. God, those players are… Well, I can’t describe how bad they are. Let’s just say that they have no clue how to play. I bet some of them even don’t know basic rules of Hold’em!
Plus when I moved there I activated $200 deposit bonus. That bonus is easy to clear and what it’s interesting – it’s not “all or nothing” thing as it’s timed to 30 days for clearance. When I close my tables I get small part of that bonus. The more I play at some table the more summit points I’m gonna earn and the bigger part of bonus will be cleared. And it’s payed instantly right on my account. Great feature if you ask me…

I played 1749 hands in my second session for today. Something less than two hours long for less than four hours for today. Overall profit of $33 isn’t bad. In my first session I was playing at 12-14 tables where 8-10 of them was NL5 and 2-4 of them NL10. In my second session I was playing 10-12 tables. In the beginning I started with 6 NL5 and 4-6 NL10 tables but after first 40-50 minutes I switched to 12 tables of NL10 only. By an accident I played 17 hands of Pot Limit Hold’em too, hehe. Little earlier than I expected I came back to grinding. I’m recovering my bankroll and it’s going well smoothly. By the end of this summer I’m expecting to become regular at NL50 since I have enough time and will to play enough to make that goal possible very soon. My plan is to play today two sessions, each one and a half hour long, maybe two.  First half is over and my results are: So yeah, I’m running $9.50 above EV, and that’s funny to see as I was way under for my last 25 days. $9.50 isn’t much but I hope it’s a sign of some nice upcoming upswing.

This sick drops (swings) in today’s graph were caused by running with KK four times into AA, four times preflop. It was my mistake in three of them as I was almost 100% sure they held AA but… Can I really fold KK preflop? I gotta think about that…
