Deepika Padukone chopped her waist long hair for her latest film, Karthik Calling Karthik.

This is a rare footage. We never get videos of Bollywood celebraties having their hair cut, but luckily we have this one.

However, the actress was hell bent on having a hair cut only when the director tonsured his head, something which the latter declined as she maintains, He didnt do that but he saw to it that he was present in the salon so that I dont back off at the last moment.

Deepikas new look is already getting rave review as she quips, Everybody says it looks good on me and makes me look younger and also said, The scriptwriter had a certain image in mind when he wrote my character Shonali . So I had to do justice to the role.

She is looking awesome in this film with her new look and specially in song Uff Teri Adaa.

Yes, laides it can be done. I noticed that while having shorter locs that I really needed something that can be professional, dressed up, and give me some options. Ha! A bun! Didn’t have the lenth, however… So I came up with an idea of creating one. Go to your local beauty supply store and look for “Marley” Weave or something that is (1) Nappy-looking (2) Hair rolled in cords or “locs.” Here’s my vid about getting that bun:

I’m getting my hair cut and colored soon. I like this simple cut on Sandra Bullock.

I like the chin length bangs, center part, shoulder length blunt cut.

Of course I don’t think everyone should go cut off their hair this minute. Giselle Bundchen? No way, uh-uh. Celeb stylist Sam McKnight, responsible for Princess Diana’s jaw-dropping Harper’s Bazaar-cover hair as well as many of Giselle’s cover looks, would weep. But some people should take the short cut. Maybe this checklist will help?

1) Your hair is nothing but long and you only ever wear it in a boring ponytail. C’mon, be honest.

2) Your hair is long and thin and straight — and stringy. And you only ever wear it in a boring ponytail. The right shorter cut will add body and swing to thin, straight hair.

3) You’re desperate for a style update. A shorter, modern cut that works with your hair texture is a style update for your face and your wardrobe.

4) You’re 5′5″ or less. A shorter chic style will make you look taller. Really.

5) You have misbehavin’ hair. A good shorter cut that makes the most of your texture (like my cut does for me) will put you in charge, maybe for the very first time.

6) You have loads of split ends. Split ends travel up the hair shaft if left unchecked. Your hair will look much healthier and be much more manageable if you cut all your splits off.

I had originally wanted to name this style after Shakira, but after the model, Kelly Bellman, tried it on, it was obvious that I had rename this style after Mariah Carey. Kelly in the Original/Dirty Blonde definitely bears a likeness I think And the styles are released early kind of, lolololol, I had said saturday afternoon, but midnightish on friday is just as good non? Mariah is a shoulder-length style available in the 5 colours shown (from Left to Right) Cocoa/Brunette, 2B/Black, Original/Dirty Blonde, Opie/Auburn, Goldilocks/Blonde. The EFADAs are over and I believe they are tabulating results, so Rubi-Jade is up for sale (ty to Jada Yumako for modelling in this one) More styles to be released over the weekend and keep an eye out for a sale/treasure hunt in february to commemorate black history month
