Ikea zocht naar een goede manier om promotie te maken voor de opening van één van hun nieuwe winkels, en die heeft ze ook gevonden.

Voor hun nieuwe campagne maakte ze gebruik van Facebook. Hier maakte ze een profiel aan voor hun nieuwe Store Manager, waarop enkele foto’s van showrooms werden geplaatst. De eerste die een meubel met zijn naam op kon ‘taggen’ kreeg ook effectief dat meubelstuk.

Met deze campagne is Ikea er in geslaagd om op een goedkope manier toch heel veel mensen te bereiken, en een naamsbekendheid te creëren. Bovendien slagen ze erin om met één campagne mensen bewust te maken, maar ook mensen te engageren. De Zweedse meubelconcern heeft dus het belang van communiceren met je klanten perfect begrepen.

Subaru este diferita

Exista multe si diferite argumente in alegerea unei masini. Iar faptul ca Subaru este diferita ar putea fi cel mai bun argument. Pentru ca, cu cat stii mai multe despre Subaru, cu atat esti mai tentat sa te intrebi “De ce nu sunt construite asa toate masinile?”. La volanul unui Subaru traiesti o senzatie absolut unica, de incredere in masina si, pe masura ce ii descoperi calitatile iti ofera un sentiment unic de incantare. Am trait aceste senzatii cand, intalnindu-mi un prieten, am acceptat sa-mi arate masina pe care tocmai si-o cumparase: un Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Nu mai completez decat faptul ca eram in Sinaia deci am trait experienta Subaru pe asfalt, serpentine, macadam si drum forestier.

Astazi am mers intr-un showroom al marcii asa incat iata opinii despre Subaru in general, nu doar despre Impreza. De altfel preferata mea a ramas modelul Outback, o combinatie intre masina sportiva, de familie si business. Ce iese in evidenta la masinile Subaru nu este sistemul de navigatie High Resolution cu DVD, nici sunetul premium cu “n” difuzoare si SRS Circle Surround, sau mufa pentru iPod. Acestea se gasesc si la alte marci. Sub capota se gasesc doua minuni ale tehnicii: sistemul Symmetrical AWD si Subaru Boxer.

Symmetrical AWD (All Wheel Drive) consta in dispunerea simetrica si in linie dreapta a motorului si transmisiei. Puterea lui se transmite catre rori mai simplu si mai direct, creand un echilibru aproape natural si o senzatie de control absolut asupra manevrabilitatii. Iar motorul Subaru Boxer are pistoanele dispuse orizontal si la 180 de grade unul fata de altul, pe ambele laturi ale masinii, realizand un profil mai coborat si mai plat in comparatie cu alte tipuri de motoare. Rezulta un centru de greutate mai coborat, un echilibru mai bun si o stabilitate mai mare la abordarea virajelor. In plus miscarile pistoanelor opuse se contrabalanseaza, contribuind la reducerea vibratiilor.

Dincolo de acestea, celelalte dotari par niste gadgeturi: frana de mana electronica, oglinzi de parasolar iluminate, compartiment de depozitare in plafon sau ventilatie separata pentru zona din spate a masinii. Va recomand asadar ca in limita timpului disponibil sa mergeti sa vedeti masinile sau de ce nu, sa faceti un drive-test, chiar si pentru placerea de a conduce un Subaru.

O novo showroom da Dolce&Gabbana é uma combinação de elementos clássicos com influências modernas. Localizado em Milão, na Itália, tem 5.000 m² e foi projetado pelo studio Piuarch. Além do showroom, os escritórios e um restaurante também estão situados nessa sede. As fachadas do edifício são todas envidraçadas e possuem uma película de proteção contra os raios solares.

A far da palcoscenico lo showroom De Masi (Via Gargano, 5/7 b), un luogo ideale per ospitare la creatività artistica, in quanto si srotola come un racconto capace di svelare le infinite sfaccettature dell’universo multiforme dell’architettura. Protagonisti dell’esposizione, in programma fino al 31 dicembre prossimo (ingresso gratuito), due artisti contemporanei costantemente impegnati nella sperimentazione di tecniche e materiali sempre diversi: Margherita Lipinska, pittrice e decoratrice d’interni, e Raniero Botti, architetto. Tutt’altro che casuale la scelta di presentare insieme i loro lavori: infatti “l’opera d’arte – ci spiegano – è sempre collocata nell’architettura e con essa dialoga”. Margherita Lipinska, che sarà presentata dall’architetto Rita Batosti Granelli, espone dieci opere di grandi dimensioni (cm 180×60) dipinte con tecnica mista su tela di juta intonacata, “materia che posso incidere”, specifica l’artista. Tecnica e supporti adottati le consentono di utilizzare l’espressività del materiale in simbiosi con quella del segno. Passata attraverso varie fasi di sviluppo sia tecnico che di espressione interiore, la pittura della Lipinska è di sicuro capace di esprimere il suo stato d’animo del momento, catturare l’emozione e fermare il tempo, il più grande nemico dell’uomo. A caratterizzare i suoi lavori, spesso, anche l’utilizzo della scrittura che diventa materia pittorica e – quasi sempre rivisitazione di letture o di sue poesie – viene miscelata a materiali completamente diversi tra di loro, come l’Oro zecchino, i vetri di Murano e ancora le pietre preziose che – incastrate tra intonaco, colla e strati di colore – sono capaci di produrre effetti che catturano l’attenzione di chi osserva.

Per promuovere l’apertura del nuovo negozio a Malmö, in Svezia, Ikea ha inventato un nuovo tipo di marketing interattivo, il “Facebook Tag Marketing“.

Utilizzando una delle funzioni più popolari su Facebook, il tagging degli amici in foto, la community dei fan Ikea è stata chiamata a raccolta per taggare oggetti e mobili Ikea mostrati nelle foto di alcuni showroom.

Perchè avrebbero dovuto farlo? Gli utenti più veloci, che hanno taggato gli oggetti con il proprio nome, se li sono poi portati a casa. Niente male!

Idag öppnar vi i Lidköping. Ska bli sååååå spännande. Butiken är färdigbyggd och fylld med jättefina plagg. Jag åker upp vid lunchtid för att vara med på öppningen ikväll. Frida, Anette och Jane kommer också att vara där och ta hand om er.

Linum, Iittala, Pelle vävare, och Borås Cotton ligger under samma tak och har fyllt på med härlig jul för hemmet.

Pour faire suite à mon post “Retail Experience”

La démonstration en magasin est alors cruciale pour mettre en avant les avantages produit, permettant à la marque de maintenir une image de qualité et un prix premium certain.

… und kann besichtigt werden. Wie bereits im Blog angekündigt, habe ich Ralf Metzenmacher gebeten, zwei seiner Collection-Versionen vom “Feuerbach” und Impressionen aus seiner “From Puma to PAN”-Ausstellung in Form eines Showrooms bei mir im Atelier einzurichten.

Originally from Montana, designer Ty Best and his business partner, onetime banker Brad Rowley, have created a company 1,300 miles away in Chicago. The showroom of Caste is a handmade collection of furniture, art and accessories inspired by the natural landscapes that are rampant in the state of Montana. There is a huge emphasis on bleached and cerused wood grains – tied in with the white-oak lounge chair, the wengé bar cabinet, and pieces incorporating a combination of these attractive finishes. Add steel, leather, tree resin, mohair, and polished accents to create furniture and accessories that take on a sculptural quality. I have to say that I really like the contrast of textures and earthy tones we find in nature’s woodlands and mountains. Local Chicagoan (is that what you’re called?) Oprah Winfrey needs to Caste these guys as one of her favorite designers. I’m just sayin.

Igår var vi i Lidköping för att bygga upp ett showroom som vi kommer att öppna nästa vecka.
Som ni vet så har vi ett showroom i Borås som är öppet bara på torsdagar. Det är väldigt uppskattat bland många av våra Borås kunder så vi tänkte prova att öppna ett till på någon annan ort och då föll valet på härliga Lidköping.

Butiken ligger på Fabriksgatan. Våra öppettider där kommer att vara

It seems like people are falling away from the big muscle car trend that we saw not too long ago. Those gas-guzzling vehicles are no longer on the radar for many due to fuel-efficient vehicles. Top sales analyst, George Pipas, predicts sales of small cars to keep increasing. Pipas named a couple of factors that could be contributing to this such as government policies and gas prices. The government has recently come up with many policies encouraging the use of more fuel-efficient vehicles, like the Cash for Clunkers Bill that was passed earlier on this year. The high price for gas these days has also led people to purchase a car that has better mileage. Small cars currently account for 21 percent of all US vehicle sales and these numbers are predicted to increase to 36 percent in 2013.

Carmakers, such as Ford, Honda, and Nissan, are coming up with new model lineups for the coming year that are small in size. Ford has found much success with its compact car the Ford Focus. Honda has also seen much success from the Honda Civic and Insight, which are both small sub-compact cars. Honda has also recently come out with the Accord Crosstour, which is expected to do significantly well in the market. Make sure to visit your local Miami Dealership and take a look at compact cars in their showroom. Now is the time to purchase a new or used small compact car before prices go up.

El diseñador de moda Derek Lam abrío su primera tienda en NY de la mano de SANAA y pudisteis verlo en nuestro número 15. Ahora, un discípulo de SANAA, Florian Idenburg, junto a Jing Liu, nos presentan la nueva sede del diseñador, situada en un maravilloso edificio en el SoHo. Desde su estudio SO-IL, han diseñado el atelier, showroom y las oficinas administrativas con una organización simple en la que los espacios se separan mediante muros muy finos y se conectan a través de grandes aperturas.

Rising fashion designer Derek Lam has opened his first boutique store in conjunction with a new headquarters in early 2009. SO – IL has designed the atelier, showrooms and administrative offices, located in a five story land-marked loft building in downtown SoHo, New York. The initially contradicting desire for both an open office and substantial privacy is achieved by devising a series of adjoining spaces which are gently separated by a 2” thin wall. People and places are connected through large openings in these slim partitions, creating fluid relationships between realms of variable intensities. In this spatial layering and exposing of concurrent activities all participants in the creative process can be seen as equal. We try to expose the intrinsic value of the historic by stripping the building down to its bare essentials and synchronizing these with this one simple element – the wall – to generate something new.

We thought it would be fun to share a small project from concept to reality with you. Now keep in mind that there is never a smooth transition between the two. There are many hours of brainstorming-trying to figure out how we are really going to pull it off, convincing the client to trust us and actually putting it all together to make a eye catching display. We had the pleasure of designing a large display window for Belle Meade Signature in Historic Market Square.

วันนี้อยากแนะนำโชว์รูมเฟอร์นิเจอร์ที่เพิ่งเปิดร้านได้ไม่ถึงปี อยู่ในซอยสุขุมวิท 31 ไปตามทางที่จะลัดไปออกถนนเพชรบุรีตัดใหม่ได้ในตึกใหม่ชั้น 2 ตามแผนที่ข้างล่างได้เลย

ร้านนี้รวมเฟอร์นิเจอร์ดีไซน์หลายรูปแบบ โดยดีไซน์เนอร์คนไทย เท่าที่ทราบจะเป็นรุ่นใหม่ไฟแรงกันทั้งนั้น หลายตัวอาจได้เห็นผ่านตาในงาน BIG+BIH หรือ TIFF มาบ้างแล้ว เรียกว่าดูดีมีอนาคตไกล เรื่องราคาสามารถพูดได้ว่าไม่แพงโดยเฉพาะงานไม้ต่างๆ งานหุ้มผ้าหรือ Upholstery บางชิ้นอาจต้องดูการเก็บงานให้ละเอียดอีกหน่อย แต่เจ้าของร้าน (คนที่เราเจอ) ก็ดูจริงใจ และยินดีดูรายละเอียดให้เนี้ยบได้
