I don’t know. Sigh.

I’m getting old and forgetful. I forget things.

I think I’m needing pills.

Recently my friend’s dad is diagnosed with cancer again. What are the chances after a 3 year gap of liver transplant. I feel sickened and sad, because you never know what’s going to happen to you next. Now, he’s living and she’s loving like there’s no tomorrow. There is just no room for regrets.

Today, after 2012, PIC and I hung out.

“What would you do if the world comes to an end?” I want to be with all my love ones and just huddle together and watch as disaster approach. It’ll be good, to die together. We’ll hold hands and sing “Joy to the world, the lord has come. Let earth receive her king!”

And PIC…was thinking abt her ex when the movie casted the end of world scene. -_-” Who knows, maybe S is really the 1. PIC and I share a common emotion. We grew out of weariness and learnt to accept others with open mind. Well, you just never know what may happen next.

Anyways, as the end of year is closing, I am proud to have said, i’m 1 mth down to a 1 year break from relationships. It is continuing on indefinitely until someone can connect with me spiritually (omg..i feel so passe typing that out). I am never going to rush myself into anyone anymore. I am tired of living in regrets, though the tireness is wearing off because I have concluded you just have to account for your own actions. I don’t owe anyone anything anymore.

2009, things i’ve accomplished, I gladly say I’ve learnt alot and done alot (scuba diving, blading, espagnol and setting up my own business).

AND

YAY, I bought my blackberry with my own money.

A lovestruck Romeo, sings the streets of serenade Laying everybody low with a love song that he made

A lovestruck Romeo, sings the streets of serenade
Laying everybody low with a love song that he made
Find a streetlight, steps out of the shade
Says something like, “You and me, babe, how about it?”

Juliet says, “Hey, it’s Romeo, you nearly gave me a heart attack”
He’s underneath the window, she’s singing
Hey, la, my boyfriend’s back”
You shouldn’t come around here, singing up at people like that
Anyway what you gonna do about it?

Juliet, the dice was loaded from the start
And I bet and you exploded in my heart
And I forget, I forget the movie song
When you gonna realize, it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?

Come up on different streets, they both were streets of shame
Both dirty, both mean, yes and the dream was just the same
And I dream your dream for you and now your dream is real
How can you look at me, as if I was just another one of your deals?

Well, you can fall for chains of silver, you can fall for chains of gold
You can fall for pretty strangers and the promises they hold
You promised me everything, you promised me thick and thin
Now you just say, “Oh, Romeo, yeah, you know
I used to have a scene with him”

Juliet, when we made love, you used to cry
You said, “I love you like the stars above, “I love you till I die”
There’s a place for us, you know the movie song
When you gonna realize, it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?

I can’t do the talk like the talk on the TV
And I can’t do a love song like the way it’s meant to be
I can’t do everything but I’d do anything for you
Can’t do anything except be in love with you

And all I do is miss you and the way we used to be
All I do is keep the beat, the bad company
And all I do is kiss you, through the bars of a rhyme
Juliet, I’d do the stars with you any time

Juliet, when we made love, you used to cry
You said, “I love you like the stars above, I’ll love you till I die”
There’s a place for us, you know the movie song
When you gonna realize, it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?

A lovestruck Romeo, he sings the streets of serenade
Laying everybody low with a love song that he made
Find a convenient streetlight, steps out of the shade
He says something like, “You and me, babe, how about it?”

__________________________________________________________

This song disgust me.

But I like because it’s so twisted.

Human nature, to be so uncannily selfish yet generous at the same time.

Keeps you constantly captivated because it’s so mysteriously fascinating, so you keep going back for more.

But learn to judge and trust your brain.

So, snip my string, go fly your own kite.

Lately, the temps have rarely risen above 60 degrees. Not only does the crisp air signal the approaching ski season, but this cooler weather also accommodates preseason shredding perfectly. For the past couple years some of my friends have taken full advantage of the shift in weather by transporting leftover ice shavings from ice rinks to their backyards and skate parks. At least twice a week they shovel the “snow” into various setups that incorporate anything from homemade rails and boxes to picnic tables and makeshift wall rides. The only negative would be the massive amount of mud that is sure to cover you by the end of the session.

If this weather stays in check, it’s only a matter of time until the midwestern hills hop onto the preseason wagon. I’m keeping an eye on Tyrol Basin in Mount Horeb Wisc., they usually have their act together by late October.

Today I wore shorts. Far from being a grand gesture to welcome summer with open arms and double help

Today I wore shorts.

Far from being a grand gesture to welcome summer with open arms and double helpings of cellulite, I was thinking more along the lines of saving a pair of trousers getting drenched and slathered in mud. But hey, at least it was warm enough to wear shorts. In fact, doing jumping jacks while sprinting up the road, it was almost TOO warm.

So I set out to terrify woodland creatures and inflict psychological damage on my dog. Jed was so traumatised by the spectacle that he occasionally mistook my leg for a stick. Evidently a particularly large, squashy stick that emitted nuclear quantities of fluorescent energy.

For the last two days, dog-walking duty has fallen on me, since Husband sprained his ankle. Nothing exciting like commando-rolling through a plate glass window, or trying to execute a complex move in a sexually charged tango with a fat French double agent. No, I’m afraid it was all rather mundane. He was out walking. I like to think he’s talking it down. E.g. maybe he was attacked by a crazed squirrel, or fell down a pit lined with wooden stakes?

One way or another, that’s his Olympic dream in tatters.

He couldn’t have timed it better. Not only has the weather been savage, but the height of his recuperation coincided with rubbish relocation. Even I didn’t have the heart to send an injured man off down the drive with the rubbish, when every second step elicited a raw scream of pain compressed into an anguished grunt.

Husband is still lurching around the house and his trousers keep falling down around his knees. I’m not sure how this is related to spraining his ankle, but it must be. Unless you believe in coincidence. Which I don’t.

At the end of the season, which is two weeks away, the lake is aerated and used for snow on the neighboring hill. Leave it to the classy Midwest hills, to drain a wakeboard lake and use it for “snow.” Nordic Mountain is the first ski resort in both the Midwest and U.S. to install this sort of cable park.

Though the mild September weather may suggest otherwise, ski season in the Midwest is just around the corner. And while the massive amounts of preseason snow that are ever present in the mountains is hardly expected on hills here, plenty of regional resorts work hard to get their parks and (machine-made) snow set up early. Mount Horeb Wisconsin’s Tyrol Basin tends to be the first snow filled hill; usually opening the last weekend in October. This resort fills the bottom portion of a hill with iced up snow and various park features.

Keep checking as the local hills announce their opening dates, you will be made aware.
