Harold hastalanınca taht için uygun bir varis bulmak Shreke düşer. Aksi takdirde tahta geçeceği için çok sevdiği bataklıktan ayrılmak zorunda kalacaktır. Bu konuyla ilgili olarak Eşek ile Çizmeli Kediyi görevlendiren Shrek, taht için en doğru varis olarak gördüğü kişiyi gözüne kestirir. Bu kişi, Fionanın asi ruhlu kuzeni Prens Artieden başkası değildir. Öte yandan çok çok uzaklarda Fionayı bir zamanlar yüzüstü bırakıp terk eden eski nişanlısı Prens Charming, tahtı ele geçirmek için peri masallarından topladığı kötü adamlar ordusuyla kentte fırtınalar estirmektedir. Ancak kenti savunmaya kararlı olan Fiona ile annesi Kraliçe Lillianın peri masallarındaki iyi insanları yanlarına topladığından haberi yoktur.

Shrek, Eşek ve Çizmeli Kedi’nin, "geleceğin kralı" olarak gördükleri Artie’yi daha mükemmel olması için değiştirme çabası devam ederken, diğer tarafta Fiona ve prensesler ordusu ise Prince Charmingi durdurmak zorundadır. Bunu başaramazlarsa ortada Artienin hüküm süreceği bir krallık kalmayacaktır.

Also am Freitag haben wir Shrek 3 geguckt und am Samstag waren wir am Red Lake Beach.  Jamie und Ally hatten ein paar Freundinnen da und die nahmen wir zum Strand mit. Dann sind wir Abends noch mit dem Boot etwas angeln gefahren und ich habe auch einen Fisch gefangen, er war zwar nicht  so groß aber bestimmt 20 cm lang.

Abends bin ich dann noch mit Eric zu Kristy gegangen, weil ihr Vater Geburtstag hatte und der ein großes Bonfire gemacht hatte. Jenni war auch da.

Am Sonntag waren wir sozusagen nur auf dem Boot und angelten den ganzen Tag. Ich fing 2 Fische. einer 25cm lang der andere 35 cm lang. Dann ging mir ausversehen die angelrute verloren, sie fiel ins wasser^^

Aber Eric fischte sie dann zufällig wieder raus. Was hatte ich für ein glück :D:D

Auf dem Boot aßen wir dann noch Hamburger. Am morgen hatten wir alles für das Abendessen auf dem Boot vorbereitet und der Grill für das Fleisch war auch auf dem Boot.

Am abend hatten wir bestimmt 10 Fische gefangen und  fuhren dann nach Hause, weil es dunkel wurde.

=) Heute hatte ich wieder Schule und am Donnerstag ist ein Aktivity Tag, früher hieß er squischi tag, wo die 12 die 9er sozusagen in die highschool “einführten”. Es war eine Fruchtschlacht oder sowas, einen genaueren Plan davon hab ich auch nicht^^

Da die Eltern aber meinten es wäre zu gefährlich, ist das jetzt was anderes keine fruchtschlacht mehr und auch die ganze Schule nimmt teil.

Genaueres, wie es war, gibts danach^^

Jag proppar i mig tabletter och snyter mig 37 gånger per dag. Det gör att jag smörjer näsan efter varje gång jag snytit mig. Man vill ju inte bli torr om snoken.

Det finaste med att ligga hemma i flera dagar är att jag får gå omkring utan smink. Låta ögonbrynen nästan växa igen och låta huden andas friskt. För att inte tala om dom mysiga kläderna jag kan gå omkring i. Tänk om man alltid fick ha det såhär.

Men det tråkigaste är att bara sitta inne och titta ut på det fina vårvädret. Jag får sitta och titta på en orkidé när jag hellre hade suttit ute och tittar på när krokusen dyker upp.

Jag kan naturligtvis ligga och titta upp i taket där den finaste ljuskronan hänger.

Och film tittar jag på. Massor av film. Men jag blir lite lätt överkänslig när jag är sjuk och febrig. Så jag satt och grät till Shrek 3. Och sen slutade jag titta på film.

Jag övergick till glassätande istället.

Och så har jag lyssnat massor på Ray Charles. Han är så finurlig och utmärkt på alla sätt och vis. Lyssna lite vettja, här sjunger han “Hit the road Jack” med dom fina flickorna i Raelettes.

SHREK THE THIRD

When Shrek married Fiona the last thing he had in mind was becoming the next King of Far Far Away. But when Shrek�s father-in-law, King Harold, suddenly croaks, that is exactly what he faces. Recruiting Donkey and Puss In Boots for a new quest, Shrek sets out to bring back the rightful heir to the throne. Meanwhile back in the kingdom, Fiona’s jilted Prince Charming storms the city with an army of fairy tale villains to seize the throne. Fiona and a band of princesses must stop him to ensure there will be a kingdom left to rule!

It’s not easy being an ogre, but Shrek finds it doubly difficult for an ogre like himself to fill in for a king when his father-in-law King Harold of Far, Far Away falls ill in this third Shrek movie. Shrek’s attempts to fulfill his kingly duties play like a blooper reel, with boat christenings and knighting ceremonies gone terribly wrong, and to say that Shrek (Mike Myers) is insecure about his new role is a gross understatement. When King Harold (John Cleese) passes away, Shrek sets out with Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss-in-Boots (Antonio Banderas) to find Arthur (Justin Timberlake), the only heir in line for the throne besides himself. Just as Shrek sets sail to find Artie (as Arthur is more commonly known), Fiona (Cameron Diaz) shocks Shrek with the news that she’s pregnant. Soon after, Prince Charming (Rupert Everett) sends Captain Hook (Ian McShane) in pursuit of Shrek and imprisons Fiona and her fellow Princesses as part of his plan to install himself as King of Far, Far Away. Shrek finds an awkward Artie jousting with his high school classmate Lancelot (John Krasinski) and, while Artie is certainly no picture of kingliness, Shrek is determined to drag him back to Far, Far Away to assume the throne. Mishaps and comedy abound, including a spell gone wrong that locks Donkey and Puss-in-Boots inside one another’s bodies. While Fiona and the other Princesses prove they’re anything but helpless women, Artie and Shrek battle their own fears of inadequacy in a struggle to discover their own self-worth. In the end, Shrek, Artie, and Fiona each learn a lot about their individual strengths and what truly makes each of them happy. Of course, it’s the pervasive humor and wit that make Shrek the Third so side-splittingly appealing. Alle guten Dinge sind 3, das scheint auch hier das Motto zu sein.

Story: Shrek und Fiona haben inzwischen starken Anteil an den königlichen Belangen in Weit- Weit- Weg. Der König ist sehr krank und die Tochter soll die Geschäfte übernehmen. Doch das passt dem Ehemann überhaupt nicht. Sein Ziel: zurück in den Sumpf und Ruhe haben. Doch das gestaltet sich, besonders nach dem Tod des Königs, als nicht so einfach. Ein Ersatz muss her. Der Cousin von Fiona, Artur, soll her. Doch der geht aktuell auf eine Schule und ist praktisch noch ein Kind. Shrek beschließt mit Esel und dem gestiefelten Kater auf Reise zu gehen und Artur aus der Schule zu holen. Bei der Abreise gesteht Fiona ihrem Mann, dass sie schwanger ist. Shrek bekommt Panik und Albträume. In der Schule treffen sie auf den etwas neurotischen und eigenartigen Artur. Er ist der Looser der Schule, der sogar von seinen Looser-Schulkameraden gemoppt wird. Darum hat er nichts dagegen, dass Shrek ihn da raus holt und zum König machen will. Doch langsam aber sicher findet Artur heraus, dass es vielleicht doch nicht so klasse sein könnte, der König zu sein. Auch Prinz Charming tritt wieder auf. Er stiftet die bösen Märchenfiguren dazu an, ihr Recht auf ein Happy End zu fordern und die Macht zu übernehmen. So kommt es zu einem Überfall auf Weit- Weit- Weg, während der Abwesenheit von Shrek. Doch Fiona und die anderen Märchen- Prinzessinnen wissen sich sehr wohl zu helfen…

Fazit: Ist ein witziger Film, den wir bereits im Kino gesehen haben – und werden ihn am 7. Dezember auf Premiere 1 noch einmal anschauen. Doch die Vorgänger (Teil 1 und 2) waren lustiger bzw. besser. Sehr niedliche Neuerung: Auch der Esel hat mit dem Drachen Nachwuchs bekommen. Dresel. Kleiner feuerspuckender, fliegender Esel… sie sind einfach zu süß. Nach Shrek 1 + 2 MUSS man den 3. Teil ebenfalls gesehen haben. Meine Kinder sind jedenfalls, nach wie vor, begeistert von Shrek.

My dad called today to inform me that he may or may not be coming to visit me tomorrow. If he visits, as he explained, it depends on prior circumstances and how potentially lucky he may or may not be in achieving his ultimate goal in visiting me. While, he continued, the probability for a potential visit on any random day is about the same, the motivating factors push the probability for a potential visit on tomorrow slightly above the norm. 

I understood what he meant completely. The sad thing is I answer questions in the same manner as my dad and pinnochio, and wondered where I obtained this strange trait for some how answering a question but not REALLY answering it. Then my dad called, told me about his potential visit, and I finally discovered why I so indirectly answer questions. Most questions obtain some element of relativeness to them.

Example:

Question: Are you going to go to dinner with me tomorrow?

Answer: The correct answer is not a definitive “yes” or “no”. The right answer is “possibly” because I don’t know what could happen between today and tomorrow that could make me unable to attend a dinner party. For example, I could potentially be kidnapped, and not be able to make it. While I have the best intentions of showing up, I may or may not make it. 

The problem really isn’t in the answer it is more in the questions. The question should be “Right now, are you planning on going to dinner with me tomorrow?”

Answer: “yes” or “no” or “maybe”. 

Question: Does this dress look good on me?

Answer: Once again the answer is “possibly”. The way you look is all relative to the person looking at you. Everyone has different tastes, and while I may potentially not like the way the dress looks that doesn’t mean that it does not look good on you. Me not liking the dress could mean I have bad fashion taste, or I do not like that particular style in clothing. Whether or not I LIKE the dress on you is not indicative of whether or not the dress looks good on you.

The best answer is “How do you think you look in the dress?” Of course, it doesn’t really answer the question but whether or not you look good or bad is a relative question, anyways. And how can you accurately answer that question without using the word “possibly”. Plus, I’d rather you thought you looked good in the dress than basing your answer on a relative question anyways.

BETTER Question: But, Dar, how do YOU think I look in the dress?

Answer:”Ehh” or “Could look better” “okay” “hideous” “gorgeous” (etc.)

Question: Is your friend Dating (FILL IN THE BLANK)?

Answer: This answer got me in a bit of trouble with my friend, but it teaches people not to ASSUME because when I answered I didn’t assume. The correct answer is not a “yes” or “no” its a “possibly” or an “I don’t know.” Saying “yes” or “no” assumes that she couldn’t be having a secret relationship with (FILL IN THE BLANK). Logically, she could be having a relationship. Just because I don’t KNOW that something is happening does not mean that it isn’t.(I don’t know alot of things are happening) She could be denying a relationship, but that does not mean that she could not potentially be lying. To her credit, I could have explained my logic after answering so indecisively. 

Better Question: Are you aware if you’re friend is dating (FILL IN THE BLANK)

Answer: “Yes” or “No”

Sen igar kvall har de sma damerna Ylva och Em varit strangt upptagna med att flanga pa det ena aventyret efter det andra. Borjade med Tennis (vilket bada suger pa) i kvallningen. Manga skratt och prat senare lamnade vi planen och satte oss med resten av folket och kollade pa utomhusbio. Riktigt mysigt! Kvallens film va High School Musical 2.

Efterat fick vi gratis popcorn, som vi tyvarr rakade halla ut i hela bilen nagra minuter senare. Kvallen avslutades med SATC, CSI och teleprat.

Vaknade tidigt imorse och stack till Plymouth, dar de pa somrarna har billigare bio ($1/film) pa onsdagar. Akte till Target medan vi vantade pa bion skulle borja. Blev Shrek 3 denna gang. Fullt med campbarn. Satt brevid en liten kille som inte kunde sitta stilla. La sitt huvud pa min axel och forsokte gosa med mig. HAHA. Antastad av en 5aring. Nice going Ylva

Stack till Ulta for Em skulle ha lite saker och sen till Target igen for att hamta upp hennes bilder. Korde hem till Em och bytte om o sen blev det country cluben Lag dar o stekte i flera timmar.  Snacka om skont liv vi lever!!

Planerar att aka pa tubing snart.. Em o Sofia kan mandagar.. Far se hur det funkar med de andra tjejerna..

Akte darifran vid kvart i sex-tiden, hem till Em o hamta min bil och vidare till EmmO for en kvall i Chestnut Hill. Var meningen att vi skulle aka in till Philly och hamta Jeanette som kommit hem fran Sverige ikvall, men Linda behovde helt plotsligt inte aka och sa att hon skulle hamta henne istallet.

EmmO o jag satte oss pa Starbucks och genast kom det fram flera stycken o snackade. Satt kvar med dem i nastan 3h innan vi kande att det var dags att dra sig.

Fick hora att de har salsa varje onsdag vid nio i Chestnut Hill. Det maste vi aka o prova nangang! Jag ar latt pa!!

Nej, nu ska jag ta o socialisera mig lite med mina kara vanner. Have fun guys!!

After that, the bash went karaoke-crazy. Supplies of Red Bull arrived to keep the energy levels high and moments later a guest was heard shouting in a Liverpudlian accent: “Let’s take the f*****g roof off this place!”

Which just goes to show that money can’t buy class. Or a different accent.

The happy couple tied the knot two days ago (I know, old news, but I have to fill this thing up somehow), and are now making their way to a luxurious honeymoon in Sardinia, which apparently a romantic resort rather than a name of canned fish from Tesco.

Shrek the Third was a great movie.

The Wii game is a pretty solid re-creation of the movie..

It’s fun..you get to be all the different characters

Gameplay is smooth and not too challenging for adult..or kids.

The only drawback – as is the case with all movie tie-in games – is the repeat playability of this game.

That is once you’ve done it, it’s done.

We bought this originally for $20 and then traded it to Blockbuster for $13.  You can easily find this on eBay for $15 or less.

We got this games used for about $20 from a local Blockbuster. It’s good decent fun that follows the rough outline the movie.

Actions on the WiiMote and Nunchuk are fluid and easily done making gameplay smooth and fun for all ages.

It’s the kind of game that isn’t great for repeat gameplay, but it’s great fun to run through at least once. Especially if you’re a Shrek fan.

The best pricing we’ve even seen for Shrek The Third on Wii is about $5 though the average seems to hover around $15 or so on eBay.
