Sinds Shrek heeft huisgehouden in de wonderlijke wereld van de sprookjes, kun je er dus niet meer op vertrouwen. Heksen, trollen, kabouters, boze stiefmoeders, geitjes, biggetjes, wolven, koene ridders, knappe koningen, prinsen en prinsessen, zeemeerminnen, de goede fee èn de boze fee, hoe ze ook allemaal door het leven mogen gaan: je kunt er niet meer van op aan! Dat bleek gisteravond (eigenlijk afgelopen nacht) wel weer. Stom-stom-stom, want we hadden eigenlijk onze nachtrust goed kunnen gebruiken, lieten we ons verleiden tot een film die pas tegen een uur of half twaalf begon:  Snow White: A Tale of Terror. Deze Grimmige Sneeuwwitje-remake – met Sigourney Weaver en Sam Neill in de hoofdrollen – uit 1997 verloopt heel anders dan je gewend bent. Op zich is het best een vermakelijke rolprent. Alleen ben je te veel beïnvloed door Walt Disney en consorten. Je verwacht een leuk, lichtvoetig en lieflijk sprookje. Nou, nee dus. Horror willen we het niet noemen, maar het is wel een donker verhaal. Op zich blijft het veel dichter bij de bedoelingen van de bedenkers van sprookjes. Het is wel jammer dat ook deze ’schrikversie’ goed afloopt. De boze stiefmoeder sterft en Sneeuwwitje en haar vader overleven. Sterker nog Lily – zoals Sneeuwwitje in deze film heet – vindt ook haar ‘prins’. Oké, dat is dan wel één van de zeven mijnwerkers (de stoere Will), maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Hoewel de filmposter destijds anders deed vermoeden (“The fairy tale is over”), valt het dus wel mee gezien de goede afloop. Ach ja… Na dit donkere verhaal wordt het wel weer eens tijd voor wat lichtvoetigers. Iets van Disney?

Sprookjes zijn tegenwoordig niet meer wat ze geweest zijn.

Shrek é um musical de David Lindsay-Abaire com músicas de Jeanine Tesori e é baseado no livro de William Steig lançado em 1990, que virou filme em 2001 (wow!).

Com estréia em 14/12/2008 na Broadway, o musical foi indicado a 8 Tony Awards, vencendo o de melhor figurino. Também foi indicado a 12 Drama Desk Awards, vencendo 3.

Com uma temporada de menos de 2 anos, o musical encerra as apresentações dia 03/01/2010 devido a falta de público. Há boatos que a DreamWorks está produzindo um DVD com a peça na íntegra, que deve ser lançado em meados de 2010.

Pra quem não conhece a trilha sonora, posso dizer que é simplesmente incrível! Eu pensava que o musical mais feliz da Broadway atual fosse Hairspray mas as músicas de Shrek são contagiantes e super animadas.

I just read on another blog that less accidents happen on Friday 13th then any other day. I doubt this means that Friday 13th is lucky though, it’s probably just the fact that everyone thinks something bad is going to happen and are therefore more careful.

Personally? I find Friday 13th very lucky. My birthday is on the 13th, so every now and again, it’s on a Friday. Why would I ruin such a day by believing that soem terrible callamity will happen?

Yesterday, for instance, was great. In RE we just watched The Island, because we’re learning about cloning. My friend who is in the parallel class did the same, but it was because he accidentally gave their books to the Year 7s or something, so I was just expecting to do more boring work. It’s an okay movie, good enough to not fall asleep. If we never finish it in class (the amount of times I’ve watched the beginning of Shrek or Cars when it’s nearly Christmas) I might actually consider renting it to finish it.

That’s not the best though…At lunch, Jack asked me out.He is so sweet, I saw this look of utter.. I can’t discribe it, when he thought I was about to say no. I just replied, “I’d love to!”. I feel a bit bad though because I didn’t manage to say goodbye. I forgot my locker key (again) and I saw Chantelle grab my jumper from my friends locker to hide it from me, so I had to quickly grab it.

I’m so happy, because Jack is really cool, and sweet, and yum.

Tenía esta entrada en borrador desde hace tiempo pero sólo hasta hoy que me la repito, como por tercera vez, me animo a publicarla formalmente. En fin, peli de John Stevenson y Mark Osborne de 2008, nominada al Oscar como mejor película animada, con doce premios, veinte nominaciones más y ratificando a Jack Black como un héroe de los niños en los Kids’ Choice Awards.

Es una historia sencilla con una moraleja de crecimiento personal y sobretodo de autoconfianza, de fé en uno mismo y en los sueños que lo caracterizan como individuo único. Bonita.

Sin embargo, hay aspectos realmente delirantes en la peli que la hacen particularmente excelente. Lo primero, Dreamworks saliendose del esquema de Shrek, que le dió tantos triunfos y reinventándose con un excelente producto.

Dos, Jack Black como un enorme oso panda llamado Po, un gordo lleno de ilusiones y sueños, su papel de toda la vida, con esa voz de Black tan característica de él, tan entusiasta y llena de falsos logros, de superación y adoración de héroes imaginarios; esta vez con la personificación de un niño de diez años, muy trabajador, muy responsable pero con la cabeza llena de fantasías.

Tres, Ian McShane, actor que recordamos en la exitosa Deadwood, poniendo esa voz profunda, oscura y macabra en el lado antagónico de la historia sobre un tigre de bengala dominado por su orgullo y descarriado al lado oscuro del Kung Fu. Esta voz y la del comandante Vachir a cargo de Michael Clarke Duncan me parecen realmente sobresalientes.

Cuatro, los apuntes de David Cross y Seth Rogen.

Cinco, la dirección de arte a cargo de Raymond Zibach combinado con las cámaras y cinematografía de Yong Duk Jhun (obviamente este dato me lo bajé de IMDb) hacen que la peli sea consistente, interesante, divetida, entretenida, un buen plan para pasar el rato así uno ya se la haya visto.

Seis, la secuencia animada del principio, en una simulación 2D bien interesante. Un sueño de Po describiendo un estado épico del equipo de los 5 Furiosos y El Guerrero Dragón, una secuencia de katas del más fino arte marcial y después contrastado con la caricatura en la que se convierte al final esta secuencia me parece el premio mayor.

Obviamente, un trabajo impresionante de todo ese equipo técnico, tan grande pero que logran resolver de una manera sencilla todo el tema del 3D, el matte painting, los mapas, los esqueletos, las animaciones, los sostenidos, las secuencias, etc… Y sumado al impresionante resto del reparto como son Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Randall Duk Kim, el legendario James Hong y hasta Wayne Knight, hacen de esta obra un paquete sin igual.

Nota. Me volvió a suceder que no encontraba un afiche que me gustara completamente y me tocó hacer el mío. Ojalá les guste.

La cinta Hoodwinked – que aquí en México llevó como nombre Buza Caperuza – estará lanzando su secuela para este enero del 2010 en los Estados Unidos. La película se hizo con muchísima discresión, pues durante todo este tiempo ni siquiera se sabía de su existencia, y este aviso viene a ser el primero. De acuerdo a lo que se adelantó, Caperucita y el Lobo estarán investigando la misteriosa desaparición de Hansel y Gretel. La misma llevará por título, Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil, y hasta ahora no se han dado a conocer trailers o algún otro adelanto. La primera parte se dio dentro de una moda de adaptar cuentos infantiles a la animación en forma de comedia, por lo que tendremos que ver como funciona en este momento.

Gamers Forcing EA To Return To Old Ways

Remember the bad old EA so many of us gamers spent oodles of time criticising?

EA was the big time publisher that made huge amounts of cash off only releasing games from their pre-existing IPs (Intellectual Properties) like Medal Of Honor, Battlefield, and Burnout, their yearly sports ‘updates’, and off movie licenses like James Bond and Lord Of The Rings.

Most of the games were good, and some of them were bad, but what annoyed many of us the most was that they were being safe and not bothering to try and bring creative new gaming experiences, especially to consoles.  They had the money and the clout to try and be fresh and innovative, but they were just sitting back because they could.

Then they changed.  But now huge financial losses and a layoff of 1,500 staff may herald the end of their positive experiment into new IPs and innovation and a return to the old EA business model.

And it’s our fault.

While EA Games were changing their attitude and creating new IP games like Dead Space, Mirror’s Edge, Brutal Legend, and The Saboteur, the other big publishers like Microsoft (Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Halo 3, Halo: ODST), Ubisoft (Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Assassin’s Creed 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Avatar), and Activision (Wolfenstein, Modern Warfare 2, Shrek, Spider Man, X-Men) seem to have adopted EA’s previous philosophy particularly this year after the financial crisis.

Sure there are exceptions like Endwar by Ubisoft and Prototype by Activision, but on the whole the games have been sequels or film tie-ins.

But this problem is not just due to the financial crisis.

As I wrote last year, EA didn’t sell enough of either Dead Space or Mirror’s Edge, despite both games being critically acclaimed by the gaming media.  At the time I argued that their releasing the games during the busy end of year rush was to blame, with new IPs not getting a look in next to the better known titles.

While I still agree with that statement, with some exceptions like the original Assassin’s Creed, a lot of new IPs haven’t done so well this generation next to their sequel or movie tie-in counterparts.  And it hasn’t always been a question of quality.

The top selling Xbox 360 games so far are:

1. Halo 3 (8.1 million)

Big name sequels sell

2. Gears of War (5 million)

3. Gears of War 2 (5 million)

4. Grand Theft Auto IV (4 million)

5. Call Of Duty 4 (3.77 million)

6. Call Of Duty: World At War (3.35 million)

7. Forza 2 (2.6 million)

8. Fable 2 (2.6 million)

9. Halo: ODST (2.5 million)

10. Assassin’s Creed (2.28 million)

Of those titles, only the original Gears of War and Assassin’s Creed were new IPs.  The story is only slightly different for the 360’s major competitor, Sony’s PS3, which has Motorstorm, the original Uncharted, the original Resistance, and Heavenly Sword in their top 1o.

While many gamers demand innovation and new IPs, the reality is that it is a hit or miss risk for the publishers.  Ubisoft last generation released the wacky but highly praised Beyond Good & Evil, only to see the gamers shun it.

And this is why I say it is our fault.  We will happily fork out extra cash over usual retail price for Modern Warfare 2, but Dead Space, despite great reviews and price cuts soon after, was not attractive enough.  Mirror’s Edge, despite giving us the innovation many craved, scared off many gamers who instead forked out for Gears of War 2.

What chance has Brutal Legend got against MW 2?

Brutal Legend, also highly regarded by most critics, as of October 24 apparently has sold 370,710 copies on both consoles.

EA went out on a limb and tried to change its image and corporate strategy to expand its gaming philosophy beyond sequels, sports title rehashes, and movie tie-ins, and did we support that after all our winging?  No.

The situation is that the average gamer has limited funds and may not play as many games as the hardcore.  The casual gamer will buy whatever they know will give them the fix of fun they are after and don’t follow the updates and innovations of new IPs.  They see Mirror’s Edge or Dead Space and think- never heard of it.

The Call of Duty or Halo series on the other hand is not only well known, but is in a genre that is easy to identify and play and their friends are likely to also have it.

This gives big publishers who have the funds to create strong new innovative games less incentive to do so.  Creatively, I’m sure their staff would love to try new things, but the risk outweighs the potential benefits, especially now.  They are more likely to try mini new things within an existing franchise, like the upcoming Splinter Cell: Conviction is.

Which brings me back to EA going back to what they were before.

In January EA CEO John Riccitiello said:

I also believe that there is no inherent conflict between great creativity and achieving strong profitability – I believe they go hand in hand.

This is a business and much of our success will be measured with a calculator – sales, revenue, profit and improving shareholder value. There is also a qualitative aspect of our industry. Making games we can be proud of. Pushing boundaries. I believe the quantitative and the qualitative measures go well together.

However, he now looks to be saying that EA will be concentrating on known franchises, some to be released twice a year:

Electronic Arts has a core slate of games label and sports franchises that we will iterate on a either annual or bi-annual basis. And I think you know what those major titles are – all of them are selling or have sold in their most recent edition 2m units or more.

What does this mean for innovation in the gaming industry?  Well to me it looks like innovation will now be mostly focused within existing franchises and, increasingly, in the casual market where the big publishers expect bigger returns for less cost.

Innovation Future?

So for example Microsoft’s Project Natal and Sony’s motion controller will seem to publishers as a safer investment in finding ways to innovate for a larger gamer and casual market.

Innovation will also come to gamers in smaller form like downloaded Xbox Live Arcade or Sony PSN games, and the even portable gaming like the Iphone and DSi.  Some of these might make a big enough name for themselves to get a bigger budget version for the consoles, but they would be sequels.

If it turns out to be true that EA and the other publishers shy away from new IPs in the future and we are still playing Call of Duty 15, really we only have ourselves to blame.

But then it seems most gamers are quite happy with their sequels, and so perhaps that’s fair enough.  For me, though, new upcoming IP games like Alan Wake and Heavy Rain seem more interesting, even if I’m still staying fairly cautious about them.

Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark is gearing up again this time with a lead actor and producer

It’s official – Reeve Carney, the lead singer of the band Carney, will be playing Peter Parker (ie. Spideman) in the upcoming Broadway mega-spender Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark.

Why cast such an unknown in the lead role? Director Julie Taymor said they wanted a “Peter Parker who could really act and sing, but who still brings a kind of performance that could be new to Broadway audiences. We wanted something a little more authentically rock and roll.”

And to help with that rock and roll vibe, Michael Cohl, a rock concert promoter with ties to the Rolling Stones and U2, is stepping in as lead producer, hoping to stop all the speculation that the show would never make it to opening night.

The show, which is reputed to have spent $52 million to date, will open in 2010 at the Hilton Theatre in New York.

American Idiot will be making its way to Broadway

On November 9, the producers for American Idiot announced Equity Principal Auditions for a Broadway run of the nearly sold-out Berkley Rep production. According to spokesman Michael Hartman, “there is a Broadway future for the show, but at this time no dates or theatre are confirmed.”

RUMOR: Ashlee Simpson may star in Chicago on Broadway

Multiple sources are reporting that Ashlee Simpon-Wentz, the former Melrose Place star, will be playing Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway for a six week run this December. Though she did play the role on the West End, her Broadway appearance has not been confirmed by any official sources.

A bittersweet anniversary on Broadway for Shrek

On November 8, the cast of Broadway’s Shrek celebrated one year on Broadway, but the festivities were somewhat bittersweet. The show, which was nominated for 8 Tony Awards, will be closing January 3 after playing 441 performances and 37 previews. The national tour will launch at Chicago’s Cadillac Palace Theatre for a limited engagement, running from July 13 – September 5, 2010.

Title battle – Dame Edna’s It’s All About Me vs. Michael Feinstein’s All About Me

I don’t know if you’ve been tracking the hilarious banter between Dame Edna and Michael Feinstein, who have very similarly named shows headed to Broadway this fall. Of the mishap, Edna said “It’s All About Me is my title. While I was saddened to hear that Mr. Feinstein did not heed my sage advice to change the title of his show, I’m overjoyed to hear that he at least took my suggestion to open his show after mine. I’m sure Mrs. Feinstein is very proud of her son.”

I have spent now 5 years as a Single Mama. I have a child who is not insane. I am not bankrupt. I have not traded Mr. Wrong for a slew of sugar daddies, dimwits or thugs. And, despite the spam of “Meet Men Now” that clouds my life – despite the scramble here and scramble there, juggle this and juggle that – I am happy.

But I have not seen so many happy stories. I have seen the ugly, the bad, the wrecked, the inscrutable, the sad and the just plain horrific. Being happy as a Single Mama does not fit the stereotypes of Single Mamadom in a patriarchal society. So there isn’t much information out there supporting the reality of Happy Single Mamas. Or how to BE a Happy Single Mama.

It seems that I need to delineate, exactly, how to BE a Single Mama. Or at least how I do it. I can’t guarantee happiness. Results may vary.

But I can – at least – advise avoiding a few traps that may leave you broken, bruised, or confused.

Stop waiting for Prince Charming. Amy Tan wrote that there are the types of turtles who feed on swallowing people’s tears. If someone gets a rush from playing the role of riding up on a white horse and saving you from the weight of your life – be wary. Be very, very wary. Or rather, be very, very afraid. Or rather, lets just break it down like this: JUST SAY NO.

Skip the event, eat the ice cream. Don’t over-analyze. Do nap. Let a beautician wash your hair. Let a masseuse rub your back. Drive through the full service lane at the gas station. Get a pedicure. Even if you are vegan – at least get an unsweetened iced tea at the drive through window. Outsource. Don’t think. Breathe. If you have to hang your head between your knees, remember to breathe.

Get your finances in order. Read Beth Kobliner. Read Ariel Gore – especially the Hip Mama Survival Guide. Use what is available to you. Work it out. Use every any governmental assistance you qualify for – and then work. Work, work, work.

Talk to Big Brother. Institutions are created to serve the public. They don’t make you institutionalized – unless your head is a sponge and your spine is a feather boa. Whatever you may think of the government, big government, this organization, that organization – you can be in this world without being of this world. Public resources are there for a reason. Welfare. Consumer Credit Counseling. You are a part of the public. You need resources. Go for it. Two more words: YWCA. YMCA. (OK those were acronyms, not words. I know.)

Dating: Not a requirement. Fun idea. If only because you are entitled to do it. But you are also entitled to buy every widget in Walmart that you can. You are also entitled to eat pig skin until you vomit. Entitlement is a tricky thing.

You are entitled to date. You are not required to date.
That should be a relief. A relief indeed.

Your child or children have one childhood. Just one. And you are providing it. Weigh wisely. Home Alone is a bad movie. It’s not an option. Please don’t get your options from movies or TV. Thank you.

Surround yourself with people who respect your time and your responsibilities as a mother. If someone disrespects you once – Gone! You simply cannot make time for someone who does not respect your time, your responsibilities, your family or your priorities. You cannot let anyone waste your time. You have precious little time to begin with. And it’s all already allocated . Remember this rule: One Loser per Lifetime is the Limit.

Popcorn and pancakes for dinner and pyjamas all day on Saturday is not just all right. It’s your right. The 4 basic food groups should go into your little person or little people every day. But no-one ever said you have to sit up at the table and use the right fork.
Fork that.

Find an anthem. Or two. Or twelve. “Like Babygirl, I ain’t got a motor boat but I can float your boat. We can live without the punks just you and me.”

Don’t Worry. Be Happy.

Este vorba de animaţia 3D HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, pe româneşte CUM SĂ-ŢI DRESEZI DRAGONUL, după cartea cu acelaşi nume a autoarei Cressida Cowell. Primele trei cărţi din serie, CUM SĂ-ŢI DRESEZI DRAGONUL, CUM SĂ FII UN BUN PIRAT şi CUM SĂ VORBIM DRAGONEZA au apărut la editura Corint Junior. În UK, a apărut şi o cărticică numită CUM SĂ-ŢI DRESEZI VIKINGUL scrisă de Ştirbul, dragonul. Sau Ştiftul, cum îl numeşte Stoicul cel Vast.
Poveştile se învârt în jurul lui Sughiţ Straşnicul Stavrid al III-lea, a dragonului său, Ştirbul, şi ai prietenilor şi duşmanilor acestora. Eu le-am citit pe toate şi mi-au plăcut foarte mult. Sunt haioase rău!
Bineînţeles, filmul a fost schimbat pe ici pe colo, însă e bun şi-aşa. Am mari aşteptări, pentru că e realizat de aceeaşi echipă care a produs şi SHREK.

Filmul, din distribuţia căruia fac parte, printre alţii, America Ferrera, Gerard Butler şi Jay Baruchel, se va lansa în România pe 19 martie 2010.

How many more Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk, Spider-Man and Shrek titles can gamers handle before they become bored? Activision isn’t worried about that. Why? Simple, incredible reviews and blockbuster sales continue to keep the company swimming in green. Activision has confirmed sequels for all the above titles going into 2010. EA, watch your back.

2003 verstarb der Zeichner William Steig im Alter von 95 Jahren in Boston. Damals ist einer der letzten Mitarbeiter Reichs von uns gegangen. Unter anderem schuf er die Illustrationen für die Rede an den Kleinen Mann und er war maßgebend an der Veröffentlichung von Contact with Space (1957) beteiligt. Auf Deutsch ist das Buch als Das ORANUR-Experiment (II) erschienen. Reich ehrte ihn dort mit einem Photo (S. 7).

Die bekannteste Figur des Zeichners Steig war „Shrek“. Er schuf den grimmig-freundlichen Charakter 1990 für ein Kinderbuch. Elf Jahre später wurde Shrek zur Titelfigur des weltweit erfolgreichen Films Shrek, der sogar einen Oscar erhielt. Steig schuf mehr als 1600 Zeichnungen, fast 120 Magazin-Titelbilder und 30 Kinderbücher. Einige Jahre vor seinem Tod machte ihn Newsweek zum „King of Cartoons“. Bis an sein Lebensende ist er der Orgonomie treu geblieben.

Ich habe ihn bereits in Oh Shrek, „offensichtlicher Unsinn“! erwähnt. Ich erwähne ihn erneut, weil neulich, zum widerholten Mal, seine Nichte Susanna in einem Leserbrief an die Öffentlichkeit getreten ist, um über ihre schrecklichen Erfahrungen in der Orgonomie zu berichten. Jahrgang 1944 sei sie Opfer von sexuellem Mißbrauch durch die orgonomische Kindertherapeutin Felicia Saxe gewesen. Reich habe sich zwar später von Saxe distanziert, doch sei es schrecklich gewesen mit ansehen zu müssen, wie vom orgonomischen „Kult“ verblendete Eltern ihre Kinder ins Unglück geschickt hätten, ohne auf die deutlichen Zeichen zu achten, die die Kinder aussendeten. Überhaupt sei die Orgontherapie schmerzhaft und traumatisch für Kinder, die Orgontherapeuten in dieser Hinsicht regelrechte Sadisten. Die Anschuldigen von Susanna Steigs kann man auf einer Anti-Orgonomie-Seite nachlesen, die ein anderes Opfer orgonomischer Eltern ins Netz gestellt hat.

Was immer man zu ihren Ausführungen sagen mag, es wäre widersinnig, Susanna einfach nur als das schwarze Schaf der Familie Steig abzutun. Eine Familie, die als warmherzig und glücklich beschrieben wird. Susanna wurde in die Orgonomie hineingeboren und selbst wenn keine ihrer Anschuldigungen wahr wären, setzt ihre bloße Existenz ein großes Fragezeichen hinter Reichs Lebenswerk, das sich ja immerhin darum gedreht hat, Kinder zu glücklichen, autonomen und selbstbewußten Menschen heranwachsen zu lassen. Menschen, die mit sich selbst in Frieden leben, nicht verbitterte, traumatisierte Neurotiker.

Die Orgonomie ist kein „Heilsweg“, keine Weltanschauung, sondern eine Naturwissenschaft. Deshalb kann ihr die Wahrheit nicht schaden, sondern sie nur voranbringen.

Ich kann mich gut daran erinnern, wie auf mich, als besonders zartes und sensibles Kind, auch die wohlmeinendsten Ärzte und sogar Friseure wie Horrorgestalten aus den Abgründen der Hölle wirkten, die mich sadistisch quälen wollten. Mag sein, daß, wären meine Eltern „kultische“ Reich-Anhänger gewesen, die mich in orgontherapeutische Sitzungen gezwungen hätten, ich heute ein Todfeind der Orgonomie wäre. Ganz zu schweigen von sexuellem Kindesmißbrauch durch Psychopathen, die sich von jeher zur Orgonomie hingezogen fühlen. Man lese nur Reichs (von Steig illustrierte) Rede an den kleinen Mann!, wo er sich u.a. mit dem Gesindel befaßt, das sich um ihn scharte. Oder man schaue sich im Internet nach all den „Reichianischen“ Arschlöchern um, die sich narzißtisch spreizen!

Man kann so viel von Susanna Steig lernen, beispielsweise, daß Orgontherapie nichts für Laien ist. Sie sollte nur von psychiatrisch oder psychotherapeutisch ausgebildeten Spezialisten durchgeführt werden, die sich auf dem Stand der gegenwärtig anerkannten Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie befinden.

Ich habe beispielsweise vor 30 Jahren mit einer Person schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht, die ohne jede psychiatrische oder psychotherapeutische Ausbildung „Orgontherapie“ angeboten hat. Ich Trottel muß natürlich hingehen! Es ist schierer Seelenmord, wenn auf jedes Bekennen der eigenen Ängste und sekundären Triebe untergründig mit Verachtung und Moralismus reagiert wird. Wenn wirklichkeitswidrige Deutungen aufgezwungen werden, die der Voreingenommenheit und beschränkten Weltsicht des Therapeuten entwachsen. Besonders destruktiv sind aber körperliche Attacken, etwa mit den Fingern schmerzhaft in die Zwischenräume der Rippen zu stechen. All das hat nichts mit Orgontherapie zu tun, sondern ist „Anti-Orgontherapie“.

In den Jahrzehnten seit Reichs Tod hat sich die Orgonomie zunehmend von einer „Körpertherapie“ wegentwickelt. Die Patienten werden selten, wenn überhaupt je berührt. Und wenn, dann allenfalls im Kopf- und Brustbereich. Und was die Therapie mit Kindern betrifft handelt es sich zu einem Gutteil um „Spieltherapie“, bei der beispielsweise das Kind aufgefordert wird, auf den Therapeuten „einzuschlagen“.

Bei Gott, laßt die Kinder in Ruhe! Man kann sich wohl kaum etwas „unorgonomischeres“ vorstellen, als seine Kinder mit „Orgonomie“ zu indoktrinieren. Es gibt nur einen Maßstab: das Interesse des individuellen Kindes! Alles andere hat dahinter zurückzustehen. Es soll glücklich sein und in ein selbstverantwortliches Leben hineinwachsen.

Und schließlich: Blinde Gefolgschaft (wie jene, die Susanna Steig zu Recht kritisiert) ist genauso dämlich wie blindes vermeintlich „emanzipatorisches“ Niedermachen von Dingen, die man selbst nicht überblicken kann. Beides beweist nur die eigene Kleinheit. Leute, laßt euch nicht für dumm verkaufen. Von nichts und niemanden!

The high grossing Shrek series is ready to spin-off a new movie featuring Puss in Boots as the main character.  The story will be a prequel and show how Puss in Boots and Shrek met.  Antonio Bandaras and Selma Hayek have signed on.  Antonio Banderas has been the voice of Puss in Boots for Shrek II and Shrek III.

Puss in Boots is a swashbuckling orange tabby with a spanish accent.  Antonio Banderas modeled Puss after Zorro, who Banderas played in several films.  Puss is a lady’s “cat” and embodies latin “machismo”.

The film title is “Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer” based on internet research.

The new film is set to be released on 11/04/11.

C’était le 11 novembre, jour férié s’il en est, que Canal + a concocté un programme fort en action pour ses abonnés. De 15H20 à 22H30, les super héros se sont succédés pour enchanter les téléspectateurs de la chaîne payante. L’Incroyable Hulk ouvrait le bal, suivi de près par l’acariâtre Hancock (incarné par Will Smith) et du richissime Iron Man, Hellboy fermant la marche des super héros dans le deuxième opus de Guillermo del Toro.

Quelle bonne journée de télévision pour moi qui adore les super héros, leurs pouvoirs étranges et leurs différences par rapport aux “simples mortels”. Pour un fan de fantastique comme moi, le programme de Canal + était sans conteste celui à ne pas rater.

Mais la bataille a fait rage parmi les chaînes hertziennes avec Shrek sur TF1 en début d’après-midi et le mélange Grey’s Anatomy - Private Practice en soirée, Et au milieu coule une rivière avec Brad Pitt sur la deuxième chaîne, ainsi que les deux Crocodile Dundee sur M6. Et aussi sur la TNT : TMC pariait sur la jeunesse avec Taram et le chaudron magique et Tarzan 2, NRJ 12 sur la comédie avec Coluche dans son rôle de Dagobert, et le film Qui veut la peau de Roger Rabbit ?

Un jour férié, c’est l’occasion pour toutes les chaînes du PAF de sortir ses plus beaux atouts pour faire de l’audience. Malgré tout, certaines d’entre elles choisissent de ne pas perturber les habitudes du téléspectateur et diffusent les mêmes programmes qu’un jour normal. C’est le cas de W9 notamment, pourtant co-leader de la TNT avec TMC.

Alors, vivement le prochain jour férié et ses programmes toujours plus attirant. Et que vivent les super héros !
