           I have completed one more IITan’s love story, “Anything for you Ma’am” by Tushar Raheja. After reading of Chetan Bhagat, if you read Tushar then you feel same writing as Chetan.  One more IItan falls in love (Why only IITan falls in love in Indian love story??? ) and story became bestseller. I think people like IITan(s).

          Anyway apart from IITan, This is not complete love story Like Story starts from A and end at Z. Here story starts at somewhere middle of alphabets, say “H” and ends at “M”.

          Tejas, Protagonist, loves his sister’s best friend Shreya and vice versa. Now hero wants to meet his girlfriend secretly and at the end of story he meets Shreya. It looks normal love story right? But it’s not.  There are lots of Up and Down in story which will stick your ass with chair. One Negative point is there are lots of unnecessary parts which actually not required and described very poorly (You can skip that parts, It will not affect on story).

         If you are finding something extra-ordinary then book is not for you. I am giving 2.5/5 to this book.

well thats the actual matter in our college now a days…… i am at homies now, b’coz the hostel authorities has told us to leave the hostel as they will be unable to suppy water and accordingly the food…….

now WHAT THAT TITLE MEANS?????????/

actually, when we got the news of water problem,, the very first day we went to HOD(CSE) sir and told him to postpone our exams and to take them after D.P. i.e. Durga Puja…….

he seemed quite convinced…. but told us(Me, Poulomi, Shreya, Sreyasi, Parijat, Sumit, Rajeev, Rumela, Rashmi) to meet Registrar sir…. and discuss this matter….. and the registrar kind of kicked us off…… some other deptt. students and we were called by Mr. S.K.Sharma, Chairman, BCET,Durgapur… and what he did,,, was kind of “Jale Pe Namak Chidakna”

we gave ckt. theory and digital electronics exam that day…….

next day our session started from 9.30 for the first time in the history of BCET….with data structure class test,,,,,, just after that we came to know that water problem is being extended for 4 more days….. and the college has decided to postpone the exam….

welllllll i think the moral of the story is we did not get what we actually wanted bt still we got something for us, something in our favour,,,,,,,,,

another one thing that is,,, poulomi wrote the whole ppl lab file b’coz i told her to do so,,,, and she came to know the temp. cancellation of the exams after she completed…… Sorry….for that……

last night i got the game Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box,,,,,,, played the game for whole night and then started my packing……………. we the hostellers did lot of masti,,,,,, on the last night in the hostel before puja vacations…….. now we have exams on 10 th october….

But i am not waiting for that….. i m just waiting for pujas to come sharply…..and i m really happy to get,,what the whole BCET wanted,,,,,, the shift in the exams date….

Awesome movie. Really long, but I would have sat there all day watching if that’s how long it went just to stare into the bedazzlingly icy dark green contact lensed eyes of Vikram Or staring at the landscapes they shot in; by beautiful beaches, deserts, Mexico, especially Chichen Itza, oh my. So very breathtaking. The whole production was made of win.

Really great easy-to-follow yet not boring plotline. Vikram plays Kanthaswamy, an income tax investigator for the CBI.  He is of course awesome at his job. Shreya, who has outdone herself as leading lady, plays the confident minx as Suppalakshmi. The daughter of a billionaire raided and ruined, she sets out to make Kanthaswamy fall in love with her and then sorta…ruin his life. As revenge. Anyways, the banter between them is pretty amusing; I don’t think I’ll get “Excuse Me Mr. Kanthaswamy, oru coffee kudippoam, come with me” out of my head for a longggggg time.

The story deals of course with income tax officer Kanthaswamy’s alter-ego, who is a superhero of sorts. Think Robin Hood-esque in purpose, but with way, way better resources and a small organization rather than a one man show. The state’s (well, the government and a few evil billionaires, really; everyone else think it’s God’s doing) scramble to figure out who is behind the ‘Kanthaswamy’ phenomenon, forms the core of the plot. As serious as it sounds, it’s interspersed with lots of comedy, especially with Vadivelu’s work XD.

But yeah, all in all, excellent. And really comfortable experience since the theatre wasn’t crowded like crazy..it’s been over 2 weeks : D. Oh except for the crazy Tamil guys a few seats away who snuck in of all things to eat, Kothu Roti, still in its container, as well as some chicken curry to put on top XDDD. Hilarity. I almost died laughing.

Shriya is back from Istanbul post shooting for Mission Istanbul and has three releases lined up this year. With Mission Istanbul, Kandaswamy and Across The Line (with the gorgeous Jesse Metcalfe from Desperate Housewives) in the pipeline, ERGO caught up with the star on her way to the airport.

Q: You were born in Haridwar, brought up in Delhi and Dehradun, debuted in Tollywood before moving on to Kollywood. Where are you originally from?
A: My dad is from Dehradun and my mum is from Jaipur and I grew up for a short while in Dehradun before moving to Delhi to learn Kathak from my guru, Shoba Narayan. I basically grew up in Delhi since I went to school (Delhi Public School) and college (Lady Sri Ram College) there.
Q: What about your childhood did you like?
A: I liked the fact that I tried out a number of hobbies then. After school, Kathak or friends took up most of my time. Since I lived very close to the Shivaliks range of the Himalayas, my friends and I used to go trekking, drink from the river and rough it out. I think it’s during those times that I developed an interest for the environment.
Q: You were a staff child in your school days, what was your relationship with your teachers?
A: I addressed most of my teachers as ‘aunty’ not at school, but at gatherings and get-togethers afterwards. I could have been a spoilt brat, but I was constantly under their vigilance, being their friend’s daughter.
Q: Going from a co-ed school like DPS to a girl’s college like LSR must have required altering principles, no doubt?
A: You can’t imagine! To this date, my closest friends are male. But being in LSR, a girl’s college and that too studying B.A English Literature did turn me into a feminist for a while (laughs). But that’s how work changed me, because I began to balance my views on issues.
Q: You landed your first film Ishtam opposite Charan as a result of a music video, true or false?
A: True, it was a Kathak music video titled Chalti Kyon Hawa.

Q: Sivaji changed everything for you, in terms of star status as well. How did your family react to your public status?
A: When my parents came down for Sivaji’s premiere, it was the first time they had watched my film with me. They were amazed by the crowd reaction to me. For myself as well, it was the time I realised the power of cinema, on a commercial level.
Q: So moving on, you have been shooting for Kandaswamy now. What should we look out for in this one?
A: I think my hairstyle has created waves. It’s too early to say whether the short hair will become a fad, but I have gotten positive responses from everyone. Also, I’m wearing little to no makeup in the film, and I hope the fresh look will work.

We watched this movie last Saturday, 22 Aug 2009. It is the one of the most expensive film ever made in Tamil Film Industry. The hype and hoopla is naturally big. The producer is Kalipuli S. Dhanu known for splashing money, Susi Ganesan who has made a mark with his earlier movies and Vikram as the hero, which makes everyone anticipate whats store in Kandasamy.

Well, nothing much or nothing special is in store for you in Kandasamy. Its all the same, take money from rich and give it to the poor. The leader of the group (Vikram) dons the avtar of god Kandasamy, gets the black money from rich and distributes to the poor. He is a CBI officer during day and Kandasamy in nights. The director and his team thought they are doing it differently but the entire film falls flat. The money, hard work of the crew and the time (2 years in the making) are all have gone in vain.

The script goes no where, its just bits and pieces stitched together with no real design or style. It was boring right from the 1st scene where Kandasamy is introduced, introduction is great, makes you sit-up but the length of scene goes beyond time and you begin to think/wonder what is he going to do? With no script or no foundation the building can never stand tall! Susi Ganesan can never become Shankar. He needs to understand this and get the basics right.

I read this comment somewhere in Love Aaj Kal review. The reviewer had said there is a problem with Directors’ who have directed low & medium budget films cannot take the big budget movies so easily. The transition from medium budget to taking big budget is far difficult for the directors. I am not sure about Imtiaz Ali but he had handled it satisfactorily on LAK. This comment is apt for Susi Ganesan who has only made low to medium budget movies and this was his first big budget which he makes a total mess.

All the departments including acting, music, camera, editing are all bad which makes the film a totally bad movie. You can spend your 3 hours somewhere else!!

My rating for this movie is 1 star out of 5.
