De acordo com o jornal Diário de São Paulo, o novo motor 1.6 Sigma, que a Ford apresentará no próximo mês, gera nada menos que 145 cv. No endereço eletrônico do periódico, afirma-se que sua eficiência é um dos destaques, o que o faz gerar o mesmo que o 2.0 Duratec oferecido atualmente – o que também nega a teoria de que se tenha errado na digitação da potência. Será?

Na notícia publicada, alguns dados revelam o potencial do no propulsor. Ele será feito no Brasil e tem refinada construção. Com 16 válvulas, bloco de alumínio, baixo nível de vibraços e pouca massa (pesa apenas 90 kg), ele deve entregar 145 cv com álcool. No torque, superioridade para o 1.6 Sigma: são 19,4 kgfm contra os 18,9 kgfm do 2.0 Duratec. De quebra, o novo motor deve consumir menos.

Com isso, o mexicano Duratec deverá receber também uma repaginada, para alcançar cerca de 160 cv com álcool. Isto, claro, se não for descontinuado. O 1.6 Sigma equipará inicialmente a linha Focus, mas também será exportado. O Fiesta deve continuar com o 1.6 Rocam, mais barato de produzir. O Sigma só deve chegar à nova geração do citado compacto, em 2011.

Sen jag köpte min kamera så har jag alltid haft skakdämpnings funktionen på när jag har fotat,så jag ville göra ett test.

Denna gråa mulna november dag var det lite taskigt ljus,bilderna är direkt ur kameran nedskalade för att passa bloggformatet.

Det blev så här med Iso 200  F/5,6  1/15sek  brännvidd 300.

O novo motor da Ford deve ser um foguete. Segundo o jornal Diário de S. Paulo, o propulsor 1.6l 16v Sigma que vai equipar o Focus será capaz de render 145 cavalos. A mesma potência do 2.0 Duratec.

O motor foi desenvolvido em parceria com a Yamaha e por ter cabeçote em alumínio pesaria apenas 90 kg. Fiesta e EcoSport. terão que esperar para receber a nova motorização. Ainda não há previsão para que isso ocorra.

A estreia do motor irá acontecer já no mês que vem.

All-out success continues for all-in-one Sigma communications platform.

Tellumat’s success with the Sigma communications platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continues, as Vodacom Business signed to include the device in its SME Business Bundle.

Distributed in sub-Saharan Africa by Tellumat Telecoms, the Sigma has enjoyed critical as well as popular acclaim, notes Bennie Langenhoven, managing executive for Tellumat’s Telecoms and Technology Group business units.

In the UK, it has been used by BT to spearhead its SOHO (Small Office Home Office) broadband push. Locally, major network operators and broadband providers including Vox Telecom and iBurst have all agreed to market it to their customer bases.

And Gadget magazine (gadget.co.za) endorses the Sigma as putting small businesses on an equal footing with big companies, given the sheer wealth of converged communication functionality it gives them, affordably and with consummate ease of implementation and use.

Converged services in a box

Ermano Quartero, managing executive of Vodacom Business, says the role of the relatively new business unit within the mobile operator is to take it beyond mobile network services and into full converged telco service provision. It offers a full range of solutions ranging from customer equipment, last-mile fibre access to hosted applications, for SMEs right up to enterprises.

“The Tellumat association is key for us,” he continues. “They supply us with a platform that is vital to our mission, as regards SMEs.”

The Sigma will be re-branded as the Vodacom Business PBX and forms the core PABX and Internet gateway component of Vodacom’s SME Office Bundle, which will also include last-mile Internet access, phone handsets and application hosting.

Rigorous tender

Quartero says Vodacom went through a rigorous tender process. “We chose Tellumat for its credibility in the market, its local support, and of course this device. Everything Tellumat stands for and offers conformed to our requirements. We are pleased to note that their device is also the choice of our parent company in the UK, Vodafone.”

He adds the value of the Tellumat platform goes beyond the product-specific plaudits it has attracted. “Bundling allows us to offer easy monthly subscriptions, ranging from R1500 per month for a basic package to R3000 for the high-end package.”

The basic package includes 5GB of high-speed ADSL or WiMAX data access, Hosted Exchange and SharePoint Portal Services, a router and analogue as well as IP voice. The high-end subscription offers 10GB of data and more handsets.

A winner

“We know it is a winner and are hoping for an enduring relationship,” Quartero adds. “Based on how successful it is exactly, we may offer bigger SME packages based on the same hardware, or other hardware from Tellumat.”

He says Vodacom Business may further extend the bundle to smaller business customers or the home office market segment. “And as soon as we have traction in South Africa, we may take similar bundles to selected African markets, customised for local conditions.”

Langenhoven says the Sigma has spurred continued success for Tellumat, despite the recession. “Our aim is to continue to find the most enabling technologies at the best price for our customers and partners, contributing to the success of all concerned.”

Twee weken geleden kwam ik in contact met de redactie van het magazine Zoom.nl. Op de Zoom Experience 2009 in de Jaarbeurs in Utrecht had ik een foto gemaakt van een Japanse krijger. Ze vonden deze foto zo mooi, dat ze hem graag in het nummer van oktober wilde publiceren. Heb je het magazine nog niet gekocht? Hierbij de foto’s.

Met de verbouwing van het nieuwe centrum van Lelystad, moest er natuurlijk ook uitgebreid worden in parkeergelegenheid.
De oude parkeergarage “De Waag” kon wel een opknap beurt gebruiken, en dat hebben ze dan ook prachtig uitgevoerd. De spectaculaire glasgevel is ontworpen door de Amsterdamse beeldend kunstenaar Jurriaan van Hall. De nieuwe parkeergarage heeft totaal 675 parkeerplekken. Overdag is het al een erg mooi geheel, maar s’avonds knalt al het moois ervan af. Absoluut een blikvanger van het nieuwe stadsbeeld.

Einen sehr interessanten Artikel der Zeitschrift “Computer Reseller News” gab es gestern im Netz zu lesen. Darin ging es um das Thema Servicezufriedenheit. Das Deutsche Institut für Service-Qualität (DISQ) hatte im Auftrag des Nachrichtensender ntv anonym über Tester die Hersteller kontaktiert und sich beraten lassen. Bei dieser Untersuchung belegte Fujitsu in der Gesamtwertung einen sehr guten zweiten Platz.

Melanie Sautereau was given the honor to walk in this stunning dress made by Dezi Jarvinen of STAGED designs, at the BOSL designers Challenge show. The designers were asked to design a dress out of their own inspiration, that would make Donatella Versace proud to show in her winter couture collection. Dezi’s SySy gown was awarded the winner of the challenge and since then she has placed the dress for sale in her store and released the SySy gown in more amazing colors. The SySy gown is sophisticated, timeless and has a touch of romantic softness about it.… what more could you ask for. It is available in Teal, Silver, Red, Black, Sherbert, Golden Wheat, Dusty Rose, Deep Purple, Blue and Neutral. There is something there for everyone and if you are a member of the group you can also get the superb Lavender SySy gown from the notices. Passend zur VISIT09 in München veröffentlichten Fujitsu und NetApp Ihre Verlautbarung zur zukünftig engeren Zusammenarbeit. Fujitsu und NetApp werden demnach ihre Partnerschaft weltweit ausbauen, um noch besser aufeinander abgestimmte und automatisierte Speicher- und Datenmanagementlösungen anbieten zu können. Dazu sollen auch gemeinsam integrierte Produkte und Lösungen entwickelt werden – insbesondere in den Bereichen Virtualisierung, Speicher- und Datenmanagement sowie Speicherlösungen und -Services.

Passend zur VISIT2009 stellte Fujitsu sein neues “Zero Client” Konzept vor: einen einfach zu bedienender, intelligenten Frontend Bildschirm. Der Fujitsu Zero Client benötigt weder ein Betriebssystem noch einen Prozessor, Anwendungen oder eine lokale Datensicherung. Auf diese Weise setzt er neue Standards für kosteneffiziente Verbindungen zu virtuellen Desktops. “Zero Client” vereint die Funktionen eines Desktop-PCs mit den Vorteilen einer Terminal-basierten Lösung. Auf Daten kann von jedem beliebigen Gerät innerhalb einer Infrastruktur zugegriffen werden. Auch die Administration wird auf diese Weise vereinfacht. Nach der Vorstellung auf der VISIT 2009 wird der “Zero Client” ab Anfang 2010 am Markt erhältlich sein.

Am letzten Donnerstag endete die diesjährige VISIT in München als Erfolg. Fujitsu größte Innovationsmesse auf dem europäischen Kontinent brachte den Hersteller, die Partner, die Kunden und Nutzer zusammen an einen Ort. Gemeinsam konnte man sich über die neuen technologischen Neuerungen und Trends informieren. Wir selbst von der SIGMA Chemnitz GmbH waren im Rahmen der WNet-Gruppe auch auf der VISIT als Aussteller vertreten. Dazu unser Dank an alle Interessenten, die sich unsere Lösungen auf unserem Stand angeschaut haben. Eine sehr schöne Bildergalerie gibt es dazu auch auf den Seiten von Fujitsu.

Letzte Woche haben wir für den Transport unserer süßen Kleinen ein paar Euro in die Sicherheit investiert.

1. Beleuchtung für den Kinderwagen:
Zwar hat die Babywanne des Kinderwagens zwei dünne, reflektierende Streifen an der seitlichen naht, doch das war uns zu wenig. Vor allem wenn es sehr neblig ist und sich kleine Wassertröpfchen auf der Oberfläche sammeln und somit das einfallende Licht “falsch” brechen.

Wir haben uns deshalb für die Micro-LED-Leuchten von Sigma entschieden. Beide zusammen kosten keine zwanzig Euro, verfügen über ein Klettband (gut wenn der Rahmen des Kinderwagens nicht rund ist), zwei Leuchtmodi (konstant und blinkend) und sind sehr klein.

2. Babylook – Babyüberwachungsspiegel für das Auto:
Eine tolle Sache um sein 1-12 Monate altes Baby, welches in einer Sitzschale (z.B. MaxiCosi oder Römer) auf der Rücksitzbank positioniert ist, während der Fahrt im Auge behalten zu können, da das Baby ja zur Heckscheibe raus schaut. Der Babylook-Spiegel kostet zwischen 30 und 40 Euro.

Aber Vorsicht!!! Nicht zu oft in den Spiegel schauen, sonst leidet die Konzentration im Straßenverkehr zu sehr.

Hallo liebe Leute,

seit gestern weile ich in Wien und genieße die Vielzahl an Punschständen sowie vorweihnachtliche Allgemeinstimmung! Meine Canon inklusive Equipment hat sich glücklicherweise ebenso hier eingefunden, sodass ich euch dann nächste Woche einige nette Bilder auf Foto[GEN]erell hochladen kann. In der Zwischenzeit allerdings erfreue ich euch mit einer Fotoserie von Shirin! Seit einiger Zeit besucht sie nun schon einen Fotokurs und musste kürzlich erst eine Fotoserie zum Thema “Erholungsgebiet” mit ihrer vielgeliebten Sigma SD14 erstellen. Ihre eigene Interpretation von “Erholungsgebiet(en)” könnt ihr einmal hier an ein paar ausgewählten Bildern betrachten:
