Two of the hamsters were fighting today so I had to separate them to individual cages. I got hamster blood on my hands, I was not impressed!

Got to give props to Giggs. After tearing 2008 to pieces with his freestyle over Stat Quo & Dr Dre’s “Here We Go” which is now know as “Talkin’ The ‘Ardest” – Giggs has finally signed a deal with one of the biggest independent labels in the UK, XL. Formerly home to The Streets, Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, M.I.A, The Cool Kids and many more, XL certainly know how to market underground music. I hope that this proves to be a lucrative move for Peckham’s finest.

I am so pumped! I have finally received my Autographed by Michael Bay Transformers Revenge of the Fallen DVD today in the mail! This is the coolest thing ever! And it’s actually signed!

Here in the picture you can see my current Transformers ROTF collection so far. The biggest poster on the left is an actually movie poster from the theaters and it has two sides for some reason. But anyway im super pumped and the bumblebee toy i have in my right hand actually transformers into the camaro. It is so detailed! Woot!

Vintage Hobe Crystal Earrings Azure And Fern Colors

These are absolutely gorgeous earrings! Vintage Hobe clip ons from the 1960s. The colors are amazing! Greens and blues…azure…teal…fern green AB crystals…

They measure approximately 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The clip on the back has a “comfort Roll”…which has yellowed over the years. Each earring is signed “Hobe”. Clips are in working order.

These are in vintage condition…some wear to the AB finish on the crystals and flea bite…tiny…teeny chips. Please see photos and use the zoom feature.

I have a domain mydomain.com with some sub level domains like

Now I need a self signed certificate for all these domains because I want to use them over HTTPS. There are some steps to do this. First of all: you don’t need for this propose your own root certificate. You should replace all occurence of mydomain.com with your own domain name and sub domains.

On the gentoo server where the apache should host the domains, I have to create the certificate. I do following steps:

1. Generate a private key

   openssl genrsa -des3 -out server.key 1024
   

2. Generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request)

   openssl req -new -key mydomain.key -out mydomain.csr

   To include all required subdomains a extensions file must be used. For example I have created a file /home/waffel/ssl/mydomain_extensions with following content:

So I signed my papers on Tuesday.  That kind of sucked, not going to lie.  I wasn’t supposed to sign until Thursday, but you know how that goes.  I didn’t want it to “ruin” my off day on Wednesday, since I had plans Tuesday night.

And, ready for the shocker, it did.  I cried the whole day at work on Tuesday, but luckily the boy was a total ass and it 100% reminded me that this is the RIGHT choice.  I wasn’t crying because I “love” him or anything, I guess it’s just the finality of it.  He was my best friend.  Luckily, I am lucky and have SEVERAL besties, but it still sucks.  But such is life. <—note: Every time  I type “such is life” I ALWAYS managed to type “suck is life”; some sort of Freudian slip I suppose.

Anyway, you know I like to get off track, a lot.  So it’s done, well, officially in thirty days, but once my signature was notarized, that was official for me.

I’ve met some interesting new people as of late, and that’s pretty rocking.  I’m the shyest person in the universe (if you don’t believe me, think back to the first time we met.  I likely didn’t say anything and avoided eye contact) so that’s “new” for me.  I’ve been forcing myself since I don’t really have a crutch anymore.  I guess I was too dependant on the boy, and I definitely used him as my crutch.  I won’t be doing either one of those again. 

Sorry to those of you I’ve blown off recently.  I’ve been so up and down I don’t know from one minute to the next what I want to do or what I will do.  Matt: I totally have to edit your story! I may do that tonight, although I DO have to make my awesome book list tonight (have to in an OCD sense), maybe I can do both; Jamie: sorry I keep blowing you off, I really don’t mean to.  Jazz and Matthew are experts on my making “plans” and not following through.  It’s usually best to not expect anything then it’s an awesome surprise later! But it is really something I have to work on.  I have a total fear of commitment in certain areas.  I can have a “relationship”, but I don’t like to commit to plans, because I never know if I’ll be depressed or antisocial that day.  BUT I do need t start calling folks and letting them know, that is a definite flaw that I 100% acknowledge (along with others I won’t mention) and need to correct.  I guess it’s part of my see-saw of a journey. 

Oh, and a big sorries to Jonny Jay;) haha.

I lost my train of thought.  Work + texting + emailing + yaddayadda =distracting!

Oh, got it back, score! Remember that I have a SUPER heavy heart, even though I’m tough and all of that crap.  It takes only an iota to get me in le depressed mode.  So just a gentle lil nudge will do, at least for right now.

It all works out one way or the other.  I know this one isn’t very entertaining, but I promise to deliver later. 

Oh here’s a good ending note:  My sweet lil Oedipal kitten, Shadow, left me a shiny quarter in the shower this morning. haha. I love how he totes crap around in his mouth.  Usually I wake up covered in toys and bits of trash (i.e. gum wrappers–not actual trash, ha).  This was a pleasant lil change and set my day off to a good start.

Oh WAIT, I remembered an even better ending.  How can this be so, you ask?  Because it’s me!! SO I had contacted divorce court back in October because I didn’t think I’d be able to come up with money for the divorce.  I totally, forgot about it.  So I got contacted by them, and they are recording again in January and wanted us to come on. hahah. Too bad we just signed.  They’d pay both our airfares, hotels, and give us $570 a piece. haha. That sounds like a forking vacation to me! This is the second show I’ve gotten an offer to be on.  Dr. Phil offered it awhile back=score.  I’m a big wimp, so of course, I didn’t go.  But how is that for awesome?? Even the boy thought it was hilarious and would have gone to d. court. hahaha. score.

3- Instalar el programa HelloOX. Y seguir los pasos de la instalación aceptando todo.

4 – Copiar el archivo Installserver_FP2 en E:\patches previamente creado por nosotros.

5- Ejecutar el Rom_patcher que instalÓ el HelloOX. Seleccionar Installserver_FP2 – Opciones – patch – auto (para no tener que activarlo cada vez que queramos instalar algún programa)

6 – Reiniciar el celular! Y WUALA!!!! INSTALÁ CUALQUIER PROGRAMA COMPATIBLE QUE NO TENGAS PERMISO O QUE LA LICENCIA ESTE CADUCADA.

13. BMW drivers – Think they own the world because they drive a BMW.  I was always told that Mercedes drivers represent old money and BMW driver’s new money.  So I am coming to the conclusion that new money means having to show people you have money and that equates to buying / leasing a beemer and driving like you don’t give a shit about anyone else on the road.  I must honk 2 of them a day for not signaling or cutting people off.  Assholes.

12. My office keyboard.  Stupid thing got wet (something to do with me spilling water on it) and now when I type capital letters the Ucking thing drops the first letter and capitalizes the next one… 

11. Swine flu / H1N1 / influenza panic… Good g-d, people are going to make themselves sick worrying about the damn vaccination.

10. The NY Yankees.  They won the world series last night and, well, see my post on them on my sports blog; www.daddyknowssports.wordpress.com.

9. Our former nanny.  Left us a couple weeks ago and has been texting me asking for more money – extra money that she thinks she is entitled to, but confusing with vacation pay which she received way more than she was entitled to.  She thinks she was given extra pay our of the kindness of our hearts, I told her it was but there aint no more.  Now she’s bitching about calling the labour department.  I called first and we’re good.  She’s a noob. 

8.  My Achilles.  I finally stretched a lot and went for a run to test it out.  Ran for 10 minutes and there was no pain, but it felt really weak, like any sudden movement would cause it to hurt.  I hate that.  I need to run to stay healthy.

7.  My weight.  I blame it on Halloween that I am forced to eat those fucking little chocolate bars like they are going out of style.  Because they are small does not allow me to eat 10 of them at once, right?  OR does it…

6.  Fair-weather friends.  Either you’re my friend and you want to hang out, or we’re not and that’s fine, but don’t string me along by being phony and they never come out.  I can’t waste time on this whole being social thing… After planning a few outings, if it’s not reciprocated, I’m done with you.

5.  Jedi vs. Sith on Facebook.  I’m fucking addicted!  Grrrr.  As of last night I was 78th in the world.  14 million players have this application.  I have 4100 points (3 points for a win, lose 1 for a loss) and the leader has 40,000.

4.  Hulk Hogan signing with TNA wrestling.  It’s a shitty promotion that might have potential if they cut the gimmicks and produced a decent show.  Crappy writing and even crappier plots make me wonder why this show exists.  Besides the fact that I hate the name “TNA” since it is too close to “Tits ‘n’ Ass” but Total Non-stop Action is not the name for a successful wrestling organization.  And Hogan… 56 years old.  Seriously.

3.   My choice of area for trick-or-treating this year.  Sucks ass.  I expected the $2 million dollar home owners to kick out some kick-ass treats for the kids.  But one candy-bar per houses?!?  Cheapskates!  How disappointing.  Not making that mistake again!

2.  Guns and Roses.  I’m still pissed at them for their simply horrible release this year.  I kind of wish they had released a bunch of stuff throughout the past decade so the shit they put on this album might have come out in other releases.   There is no good hard rock nowadays and as I listen to a few of their songs on my iPod It makes me even more pissed off.  They used to be great.  Same for Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver.  Where is the new Saliva, Disturbed and Rob Zombie?

1.  Iran.  Saw this news story and it pisses me off, considering Iran claims to be doing nothing wrong. Ever.

The seizure of a massive shipment of Iranian arms bound for terrorist organization Hizbollah, proves the arms flow to Syria and south Lebanon from Iran.  The attempt to smuggle arms to Syria and Hizbullah was an Iranian violation of a UN Security Council resolution.  Typically, Iran continues to smuggle arms to terrorists under the guise of legitimate international commerce, turning the Mediterranean Sea into a platform for illegal action. 

The weapons seizure “unequivocally and without a doubt” proves the Iran-Syria-south Lebanon weapons-trafficking route.

The ship was released overnight Wednesday after 36 weapons-filled containers were unloaded, and the 12 crew members boarded the vessel and made their way back on their planned route.

Hundreds of tons of weaponry, the largest arms seizure in Israel’s history, were intercepted in the daring raid by Israeli naval commandos aboard the cargo ship sailing 100 nautical miles west of Israel.

The arms shipment was 10 times the size of the cache found on the Palestinian arms ship Karine A in 2002, defense officials said.

The different types of arms offloaded from the ship were familiar to Israel as those Hizbullah already possesses in its arsenal, Israel Radio quoted defense officials as saying.

Military sources assessed Teheran would be forced to change its smuggling routes following the Israel Navy’s successful operation.

The cache was hidden inside shipping containers belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) which departed from the Bandar Abbas Port in Iran some 10 days ago, were unloaded in the Egyptian port of Damietta and then loaded onto the Francop, a German vessel flying an Antiguan flag.

On Wednesday, Israeli PM, Netanyahu addressed the international community concerning Iran’s material support for terrorist organizations by saying, “Iran is sending these weapons to terror organizations to harm Israeli cities and kill its citizens.  The time has come for the international community to exert real pressure on Iran to stop this criminal activity and to support Israel when it defends itself against these terrorists and their patrons.”

This is going to be a tough task considering the axis of evil lined up to denounce Israel left, right and centre every time something happens in the middle east.

I have been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum for the last two evenings now and really loving it. Not so keen on the Scarecrow Nightmare scenes; I thought this game was quite tame up until the first encounter, then I had to hide behind a pillow while I played. I’m not good with scary things. I think I am over a third through it all now, collecting a load of Riddler points on the way (and Xbox Achievements too). I might write a review once it is completed…

I also signed a petition here today to pass a law which makes micro-chipping pets mandatory to keep them safe. I think it is a good idea, it would help a lot of animals.

Czech President Vaclav Klaus has signed the ratification documents for the Treaty of Lisbon after the decision of the Czech Constitutional Court.

The Treaty of Lisbon can enter into force on December, 1st or January, 1st.
