Archduke Decay is a member of a robotic band called the Sinth Lords, who a long long way from now in a far far away distant future plays music to whole planet stadiums full of adoring audiences.

I came up with this idea a long time ago but I’ve never done any propper character designs until now. A couple more to come.

Baron Attack is a Lord of the Synth, get it? 

Vamos desde el principio. En el blog de Iváncho y sus colaboradores, Mostrador, vi un video de Bjork que se llama “Declare independence”. En la canción utilizan un instrumento nuevo, un sintetizador electro-acústico, según wiki. Se llama ReacTable.

Entonces me puse a investigar un rato. Conseguí la página oficial del instrumento, y para mi sorpresa, la mayoría de los carajos que desarrollan el proyecto son españoles (por alguna razón siempre asumo que los gringos tienen algo que ver con los inventos… parece que no siempre).

En la página de los videos hay varias demostraciones de la tablita, que todavía no está a la venta, pero muchos quisieramos comprar. Más links para youtube.

Ni me voy a molestar en tratar de explicar cómo funciona el instrumento, porque de verdad no estoy nada seguro. Sólo sé que es alucinante. Que nunca había visto algo como esto. Que quiero una tabla. Que aquí tienen el video de Bjork para que vean a la tabla en concierto.

Bueno, nada. Esperando a que el niño jesús me traiga una el año que viene.

Página oficial, donde no la pueden comprar todavía, pero pueden revisar acerca de los creadores, se pueden descargar un software que no terminé de entender completamente qué hace, pero no es el mismo que usa la tabla. También se van a enterar, si revisan este link, uno de los más largos de la historia, que el proyecto está liderador por la Universitat Pompeu Fabra en Barcelona. Sí te puedes comprar una camisa con el logo de la tabla en diferentes colores. Puedes ver muchas fotos, los videos que ya viste aquí, si de verdad te interesó en lo más mínimo, y nada… ya. se acabó este link.

Ieri girovagando per i vari canali musicali mi sono imbattuto su mtv ad uno speciale su una attività della redbull, la redbull music accademy .
Sul sito trovi tutte le info è un evento itenerante quest’anno tocca a Toronto per questa edizione che vede tra i protagonisti anche ragazzi italiani! Sicuramente è una valida oppurtunità per i partecipanti, essi hanno la possibilità di evolvere la loro indole di producer ma non solo, il contatto con gli altri ragazzi/e del gruppo sicuramente qualcosa di produttivo dato che il progetto in se è un meltin pot di persone provenienti da tutto il mondo!
Sul sito, che all’apparenza sembra un blog, ci puoi trovare anche i filmati delle lezioni tenute dagli ospiti invitati a condividere con i ragazzi la loro esperienza sul campo! In poche parole è una figata! una di quelle attività a cui mi piacerebbe un giorno non troppo lontano partecipare…

Oggi è giorno di consigli musicali ho riscoperto un cd che avevo e che non avevo approfondito abbastanza sono i Broken Social Scene Gruppo di Toronto appunto sempre per rimanere in tema con il post!
