<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>People who deal with sleep apnea every day understand how troublesome it can be each day. Having the right information can go a long way in making symptoms easier to deal with. Try out the advice below, and you&#8217;ll have a good shot at reducing sleep apnea&#8217;s hold on your life. <img src="http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8244/8597419050_4264788da9.jpg" align="left" width="272" style="padding:10px;" /> <a href="http://wiki.theavoraproject.org/index.php?title=Tips,-Tricks,-Techniques-And-Advice-For-Managing-Sleep-Apnea">Handle The Potentially Dangerous Disorder Of Sleep Apnea</a> </p>
<p> <a href="http://pawn.tom.ru/wiki/index.php?title=Tips_To_Help_With_Your_Sleep_Apnea_Condition">How To Get Relief If You Have Sleep Apnea</a> If you have sleep apnea, do not sleep laying on your back. Sleep apnea strikes back sleepers the most. Try your best to avoid sleeping on your back, and use pillows or something else to keep you on your side.</p>
<p>Try not to sleep on your back if you have sleep apnea. Lying on your back when you sleep makes it easier for your airways to become blocked. Do what&#8217;s necessary to sleep sideways, even if you have to use pillows or other items to force the issue.</p>
<p>Take up a wind instrument. Not only will you enjoy the music and exercise your mind, but you will also exercise the muscles that help you control your breathing. Toning the throat and neck muscles will give you more control over your sleep apnea.</p>
<p>If you have a dry mouth because of a CPAP device, you can help this a few different ways. Increasing the humidity on the machine itself will keep your mouth and nostrils moist. Using a mask with a chin strip can also help keep air in.</p>
<p>Use a device that is aimed at helping you with snoring. Snoring can be a sign that a person has sleep apnea, and a doctor can tell the patient whether one of these oral devices will be of help to them. One device can help with both. Your sleep apnea can be curtailed some with the use of an anti-snoring aid.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re admitted to the hospital, take your sleep apnea machine with you. Your CPAP machine should be with you whether you&#8217;re admitted to the hospital or visiting the emergency room. You have already set the pressure to the appropriate level, and you are accustomed to the mask that you have been using nightly. These things will make it much easier to continue your CPAP therapy while you are hospitalized.</p>
<p>Try and get someone you know to tell you how you sleep through the night. You can remedy this problem by setting up a recorder that can film you while you&#8217;re sleeping at night. The video should also have audio to listen for any noises.</p>
<p>Avoid cigarette smoke and excessive consumption of alcohol if you suffer from sleep apnea. These two habits combine to have a very negative effect on your airways. Alcohol relaxes the passages and smoking inflames them. This makes for very difficult breathing during sleep. If medical interventions seem necessary for a case of sleep apnea, it is prudent to first try to quit smoking and drinking to see if the interventions can be avoided.</p>
<p>Always adhere to your treatment plan. You might be tempted to not use your CPAP some nights, but the effect will be apparent the next day when you are not as productive as normal. Do the treatments recommended by your doctor so that you can sleep and therefore function in your daytime life.</p>
<p>As you learned in the above article, if you do not treat your sleep apnea it can really cause a lot of damage to your health. If you have sleep apnea, you must learn all you can about it. When you take the advice in the preceding paragraphs to heart and put the ideas into play, you will know you are trying to keep your health.<br /> <a href="http://wiki.harpersglobe.com/index.php?title=How-To-Get-Relief-If-You-Have-Sleep-Apnea">Tips, Tricks, Techniques And Advice For Managing Sleep Apnea</a></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ask your doctor about sleep apnea if you suffer from sleep deprivation. You should be aware that it is not an unusual disorder. Though serious, it does have many treatments available. In the following article, you will find many helpful tips that can help you to better deal with the condition.<br /> <a href="http://stats.samimattila.com/index.php?title=Learn-What-It-Takes-To-Treat-Your-Sleep-Apnea">Get Great Sleep Apnea Tips In This Article</a> <br />Many people don&#8217;t realize that sleep apnea is not something to ignore and can be potentially dangerous if left untreated. If you suspect you have sleep apnea, see your doctor right away. If he says you have sleep apnea you should go to a sleep specialist so that you can get tested further.</p>
<p>Try to sleep on your side instead of your back to breathe easier when you sleep. When we sleep on our backs, the nasal and throat passages are more prone to obstructing the air-ways. Try to fall asleep on one of your sides to see if that improves your sleep apnea this evening.</p>
<p> <img src="http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8100/8596312987_7ce31bb045.jpg" align="left" width="219" style="padding:10px;" /> <a href="http://www.hvacsimulator.net/index.php?title=How-To-Live-Successfully-With-Sleep-Apnea">Rest Better With These Sleep Apnea Tips</a> Keep a tight reign on any other breathing problems that you have. Make the treatment of any breathing problems top priority, especially if you are experiencing sleep apnea. Allergies should be remedied right away. Take early steps to treat colds and the flu when you feel them coming on; you don&#8217;t want to deal with sinus congestion and sleep apnea at the same time.</p>
<p>Try exercising your throat and jaw. Sometimes strengthening your internal muscles can help correct your sleep apnea. You can really benefit from a few exercises.</p>
<p>If your sleep apnea is caused by excess tissue in your throat and airway, surgery may be required to remove it. A surgeon can use a surgery known as UPPP to help you get rid of your extra tissue. This will make it easier for your airways to stay open. Keep in mind that this procedure often involves a tonsillectomy as well.</p>
<p>Clear your mind before you go to sleep. Your sleep apnea symptoms can be worsened because of life&#8217;s stresses. Going to bed with plenty of concerns on your mind will find your apnea worse than usual. So find ways to let the problems of the day go before hitting the sack.</p>
<p> <a href="http://newbcamp.freegeekprovidence.org/wiki/index.php?title=Rest-Better-With-These-Sleep-Apnea-Tips">Learn What It Takes To Treat Your Sleep Apnea</a> Locate others with sleep apnea and share feelings and tips with each other. Your doctor can probably guide you towards groups in your community that exist to deal with sleep apnea. When you can surround yourself with people who can relate to your situation, you will not have a need to become anxious about your situation.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t use opioid or narcotic medicines if you suffer from sleep apnea. Pain medications such as these may cause your oxygen level to be low and disrupt your normal sleeping habits. In combination with sleep apnea, it can be fatal.</p>
<p>If you suffer from sleep apnea and require a CPAP machine, make sure you have a medical ID bracelet. You don&#8217;t need people questioning you and your device all the time, so it makes it easier when you bring your medical ID. Medical cards are available to describe your condition, the treatment you use and the level of treatment required to control your sleep apnea.</p>
<p>As you now know, there are various treatments that are effective at treating sleep apnea. Use the tips in the article you just read to get a better night&#8217;s rest, because you deserve it! When you start getting enough rest you will see your whole life improve.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you or a loved one recently received a sleep apnea diagnosis, you might be wondering what to do next. Do you know what solution would work best in the situation? You will find some information that you can use in the article below.</p>
<p>If sleep apnea keeps you awake at night, take a nap during the day to compensate for lost sleep. Besides making you feel drowsy and fatigued, sleep deprivation can also lead to more serious health problems. If you can, get a little sleep in the afternoons.</p>
<p>Use a fitted sleep apnea mouth guard. Some guards are made to treat sleep apnea. It&#8217;s a good way to get around having to use a CPAP machine, and feels better to wear throughout the night. These mouth guards help you by making sure your airways remain open by giving your soft tissues a stabilizing hand.</p>
<p> <img src="http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8104/8534224096_1843f94d06.jpg" align="right" width="252" style="padding:10px;" /> Start playing a woodwind instrument. It doesn&#8217;t matter which instrument that you choose, any of them will make a positive change in your muscles. By practicing the breath control necessary to play a wind instrument, you tone and strengthen your throat muscles and thus improve your sleep apnea symptoms. After playing for some time, you will start to get relief from sleep apnea because you have been training your muscles.</p>
<p>Only sleep with a single pillow of standard size. Using multiple or oversized pillows makes it more likely that you will end up in a position that encourages sleep apnea. Sleeping in this way may prevent easy breathing. So find a normal size pillow that is comfortable and doesn&#8217;t contort your airway because this will help you sleep better and breathe easier.</p>
<p>Regularly exercise the muscles in your throat and jaw. Sometimes strengthening your internal muscles can help correct your sleep apnea. There is a very real chance that you can help yourself with just a few exercises.</p>
<p> <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/take-a-sleep-apnea-test-to-learn-what-it-takes-to-treat-your-sleep-apnea/">sleep apnea mask</a> If you suffer from sleep apnea and have not yet found relief, do not throw in the towel. There are many types of symptoms that can vary in severity from person to person, so someone may find that certain methods don&#8217;t work for them. Experiment until you find the treatments that work for you.</p>
<p>Speak with your doctor about getting a mouth guard that will help alleviate the symptoms of sleep apnea. It may be that your airways are narrower than average, and this is fine. There are a number of different devices to correct for these issues. Simply aligning your jaw may be all that is necessary.</p>
<p> <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/the-sleep-apnea-mask-plus-other-tips-for-living-with-sleep-apnea/">read more</a> Sleep apnea can create exhaustion, which makes the condition worse. To deal with this problem make sure that you have a set sleeping schedule. Try to go to bed and get up at the same time each day. Taking control of your apnea immediately will keep it from becoming uncontrollable.</p>
<p>You shouldn&#8217;t feel embarassed or ashamed about sleep apnea treatments like CPAP therapy. Inform people about the necessity of your actions and avoid being overcome by self-conscious feelings when you use it in front of friends or your significant other. Remember that failure to use your CPAP could cause serious health problems. If people tease you for doing so, that&#8217;s more a reflection on them than you.</p>
<p>Having the right information is the first step to a successful treatment. Knowing your options will empower you and get you well on your way. A great amount of information is available on this subject, but the tips provided here will help you discover your answers with speed and ease.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Anybody with sleep apnea understands how difficult it is to deal with. The most efficient way to dea]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anybody with sleep apnea understands how difficult it is to deal with. The most efficient way to deal with it is to have as much information as possible. You can minimize or even entirely eliminate your sleep apnea symptoms if you make use of helpful treatment advice like that suggested below. <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/using-a-sleep-apnea-pillow-plus-tips-on-surviving-sleep-apnea-issues/">sleep apnea mask</a> </p>
<p>Never sleep on your back if you experience the symptoms of sleep apnea. Most sleep apnea patients spend the night on their backs and that can interfere with the airways. A good way to get around this is to use a pillow so that you sleep on your side in bed.</p>
<p>Try out different things besides pills to help you sleep. Sleeping pills will just make you snore more by relaxing the muscles in the throat. In addition, sleeping pills can contribute to many problems associated with sleep apnea. Discuss alternative methods for getting to sleep without altering your breathing with your physician.</p>
<p>Sleep apnea can be worsened if you are tired for long periods of time. Try getting to bed at about the same time every night and relax with meditation or a warm bath before going to sleep. Try to go to bed and get up at the same time each day. This helps to stop sleep apnea from getting much worse, where it could possibly lead to complete insomnia.</p>
<p>A corrective mouth guard for sleeping hours can do wonders if your condition is due to airways that are naturally narrow. These can help you breathe better and clear your airways. Ask your doctor about sleep mouth guards, and get fitted for one if you believe this could be the right solution for you.</p>
<p>Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about sleep apnea. There are many complications that come from sleep apnea, and sound sleep is too essential to your health and life to be making blind guesses. Let a doctor know about your symptoms, and get a diagnosis.</p>
<p> <img src="<br />
&#8221; align=&#8221;left&#8221; width=&#8221;300&#8243; style=&#8221;padding:10px;&#8221; /> <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/dont-know-what-to-do-about-sleep-apnea-try-a-sleep-apnea-mouthpiece/">click here</a> Establish a sleep routine if you are a sleep apnea sufferer. Remember, your sleep is already being disrupted by your condition. A natural pattern of sleep will help you gain your health back and also avoid daytime sleepiness. You should go to bed at the same hour every single day.</p>
<p>Attempt to sleep on the side to get a full night of rest in spite of apnea. The airway obstructions that cause sleep apnea are far more likely to occur if you sleep on your back than in any other position. Try very hard to rest on your side, and you may find your symptoms alleviated.</p>
<p>If you suspect sleep apnea to be the cause of your night time woes, arrange to have a sleep test with your family physician. This sleep test will help diagnose your sleep apnea and give you an idea of its severity. You and your doctor can then plan a course of action to treat your sleep apnea, whether it is mild, moderate or severe.</p>
<p>Try your best to use your CPAP machine as much as possible if you get one. Sometimes it is hard for people to get used to the CPAP. However, it needs to be used for four hours each night for it to be effective. As you become more accustomed to the sleep mask, you should be able to wear it longer.</p>
<p> <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/the-sleep-apnea-test-everything-you-need-to-know-about-sleep-apnea/">sleep apnea test</a> Life is full of enough difficulties; sleeplessness does not have to be one of them. Apply what you&#8217;ve just learned, and soon you&#8217;ll be enjoying a perfect night&#8217;s sleep.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Do not allow yourself to become too concerned about having sleep apnea. Being a sufferer of sleep ap]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do not allow yourself to become too concerned about having sleep apnea. Being a sufferer of sleep apnea can be very dramatic, which is especially true for those that are not aware of what they can do for their condition. Due to this fact, you should do everything you can to make you condition have as little impact on your life as possible. <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/the-sleep-apnea-mask-plus-other-tips-for-living-with-sleep-apnea/">sleep apnea mask</a> </p>
<p>Think about getting a mouth guard. Depending on the shape of your mouth, you will likely need a dentist to make you a mouth guard that is custom fit. These devices adjust the position of the interfering attribute so that you can breathe easier at night.</p>
<p> <img src="http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8390/8512688968_42a39fb663.jpg" align="left" width="281" style="padding:10px;" /> Stick with the sleep apnea treatments you&#8217;re doing. Although you may believe it is fine to skip a night every now and then, you are going to notice a difference the next morning, and as a result, you aren&#8217;t going to be very alert. Always comply with your treatment regimen in order to function at peak efficiency each and every day.</p>
<p>If you currently are using a CPAP machine for sleeping, ask your general practitioner to prescribe a humidifier that is heated as well. This will make sleeping with CPAP much more comfortable and less frustrating. Try and get a CPAP machine that has a humidifier built into it; your doctor should be able to point you in the right direction.</p>
<p>People who have sleep apnea tend to sleep on their backs. If you are one of these people, try a different sleeping position to get some relief. It&#8217;s been proven that you can sleep more comfortably by sleeping on one side if you have sleep apnea.</p>
<p>Try sleeping on your side to combat sleep apnea. When you sleep on your back, oral and throat tissues can fall into your airways and obstruct them. Use pillows to make sure that you stay facing sideways even after you fall asleep.</p>
<p>Meet with a specialist. Your general practitioner can give you some ideas for dealing with your sleep apnea, but a specialist specializes in sleep apnea and treatments for it. They will be the best source of needed information about your apnea. They&#8217;ll also be able to supply you with the information you need to have an easier time dealing with your sleep apnea.</p>
<p> Don&#8217;t feel any shame about necessary treatments for sleep apnea, including lugging around your CPAP device. Make people aware that your life would be much worse with the machine. Also, don&#8217;t be afraid to use the machine in front of others, including friends and your spouse. Remember that CPAP machine use is in your long-term best interests. If anyone teases you, they should probably exit your life.</p>
<p>If you ever have the occasion to fly for travel and you have sleep apnea, be sure to inform the airline that you will be bringing along your CPAP machine. Most airlines will be willing to make arrangements to have you seated where you will have enough room to use your machine. Be sure to bring along a power adapter when using a foreign airline.</p>
<p>An untreated occurrence of sleep apnea can be very harmful. Thankfully, many helpful treatments exist. Use the information from this piece and consult with your physician about it. Then you can put these tips into action and improve your quality of life.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you allowing sleep apnea to interfere with your amount of high-quality sleep? If so, then you should find some treatments immediately. It can be dangerous and very unpleasant to try to live in a sleep deprived state. Try out these tips to get better sleep today.<br /> <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/using-a-sleep-apnea-pillow-plus-tips-on-surviving-sleep-apnea-issues">sleep apnea pillow</a> <br />Do you smoke and/or drink? If you suffer from sleep apnea, quit smoking and cut down on your alcohol consumption. These items can harm your airways. Alcohol relaxes your airways, making them more prone to collapse, and smoking can cause them to swell, restricting airflow. If you&#8217;re not able to stop smoking and drinking, at least don&#8217;t do them before you fall asleep.</p>
<p>Sleep apnea is defined as lack of breathing when asleep. This is why it can get worse at higher elevations. As oxygen levels decrease at higher elevations, this would seem to affect the sufferer of sleep apnea. Avoid sleeping at higher elevations as much as possible.</p>
<p>Look for devices that help to alleviate snoring. While apnea involves complete blockage of the airways, snoring is similar in that partial airway obstruction is what causes it. So, it makes sense that a device that helps with the former can help with the latter. Your sleep apnea may benefit from the use of a stop snoring device.</p>
<p> If you have sleep apnea, you might try using a mouth guard. Depending on the shape of your mouth, you will likely need a dentist to make you a mouth guard that is custom fit. With proper jaw alignment, you may be able to clear your airway obviating the need for more elaborate devices to help curb your sleep apnea.</p>
<p>Try exercises that will tone the muscles in your airway which can alleviate minor sleep apnea. Making these muscles stronger will help prevent the collapse of your airways while sleeping. Playing an instrument or other activities that move your face and throat muscles make great exercises. These exercises will help make your throat stronger.</p>
<p>Whatever you do, don&#8217;t sleep on your back. To prevent yourself from rolling onto your back while asleep, try sewing a lumpy object like a ball on your pajamas. This will keep you from rolling onto your back.</p>
<p>Make sure you exercise your throat and jaw muscles. Sometimes sleep apnea is just dependent on weak internal muscles you have, so take the time to learn a few exercises that can help you deal with your apnea. Just doing some exercises can help your sleep apnea greatly.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re using a CPAP, use it a minimum of four hours nightly. Sometimes it is hard for people to get used to the CPAP. Four hours of use every night is the minimum necessary time you need to realize the benefits of CPAP therapy. If you find it hard to get used to your CPAP, use it for only 4 hours at a go.</p>
<p>People with sleep apnea should avoid sleeping on their back. If you sleep on your back, the likelihood that your airways will constrict during the night increases dramatically. Sleeping on your side is much better as it eliminates the extra effect that gravity has on you.</p>
<p> <img src="http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8241/8511820768_fe32ca5912.jpg" align="left" width="287" style="padding:10px;" /> The bad news is that sleep apnea is severe by itself and leads to a number of other issues. The upside is that it is really quite manageable. Start by looking at the advice in this post; it can help you with some immediate relief. If this information is not working for you, consult with a doctor immediately to seek out other treatment options.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sleep apnea can be effectively treated but being diagnosed properly and educating yourself are the first steps. In order to discover relief, you must do as much research as possible on this condition. Using the information below will help you find the best treatment.<br /> <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/the-sleep-apnea-test-everything-you-need-to-know-about-sleep-apnea/">sleep apnea test</a> <br />Try to go to bed with a clear mind. The stress within your life can really exacerbate your sleep apnea. When you go to sleep with a lot of things going through your head, it may worsen your sleep apnea symptoms. A better choice is to relax the mind prior to bed, so those stresses won&#8217;t cause you more issues.</p>
<p>If using a CPAP machine causes the problem of dry mouth, there are some ways to fix that. Depending on the type of machine you use, you may be able to simply increase the humidity setting, providing a more moist supply of air. You can try using a mask with a chin strap that prevents air leakage because your mouth stays closed.</p>
<p>Do not rely on sleeping pills if you are troubled by sleep apnea. The sleeping pills will make your apnea much worse. These pills relax all your muscles, including those that are involved in breathing. Try a natural sleeping aid instead, like melatonin or warm milk with honey.</p>
<p> <img src="http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8523/8510628941_7fe225bee6.jpg" align="left" width="214" style="padding:10px;" /> If your sleep apnea doesn&#8217;t improve after anything you&#8217;ve tried, you may need to discuss more drastic options with your doctor. Standard treatment vectors of sleep apnea do not work for certain individuals, and they wind up going in for surgical options. These can include tonsil removal and airway enlargements.</p>
<p>You may find it beneficial to use a nasal spray before you go to sleep at night. While some may have chemicals that make symptoms worse, there are various saline sprays that you can use long-term. The way these sprays work is by drying out the nasal passages.</p>
<p>When you got inadequate sleep, you should make up for it by taking naps. Taking a nap each day will boost your energy level and allow you to get things done. Explain to the person you work for that you need naps to be at your best.</p>
<p>Sleeping in certain positions can also impact your sleep apnea. Because of this, your sleeping position should be the best possible one. Use a foam wedge to raise the top part of your body higher. Another option is raising your bed&#8217;s top a minimum of four inches.</p>
<p>Ask your partner what he or she thinks about your sleep apnea problem. Chances are that you have done some snoring and awoke many times during many nights. Encourage them to express their feelings about the situation, and reassure them that it will get better now that you have started treatment for your sleep apnea.</p>
<p>Many people understand just how frustrating it can be to find the treatment that will control their sleep apnea is. To get through the fight against sleep apnea victorious, you have to know as much about it as possible. Apply what you&#8217;ve just learned and you&#8217;ll be well on your way to improving your sleep apnea condition.</p>

<description><![CDATA[You should treat sleep apnea before it becomes a huge burden. Moving through life without enough sle]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You should treat sleep apnea before it becomes a huge burden. Moving through life without enough sleep is both disadvantageous and even risky. Try out these tips to get better sleep today.<br /> <a href="http://sleepapneatest.qlmonline.com/dont-know-what-to-do-about-sleep-apnea-try-a-sleep-apnea-mouthpiece/">sleep apnea mouthpiece</a> <br /> Corrective oral devices can sometimes be effective at easing the symptoms of sleep apnea. Some individuals have jaws aligned or formed in ways that constrict their air passages. Using corrective devices to ensure the jaw is properly aligned while sleeping can help increase air intake.</p>
<p>It is a well know fact that the main thing the condition known as sleep apnea causes is bad quality sleep. Many times, sleep apnea sufferers have lessened symptoms by making little lifestyle changes. Being careless and unhealthy in your lifestyle can bring about sleep apnea.</p>
<p>Minimize the risk factors associated with sleep apnea. Genetic and congenital risks cannot be altered, but lifestyle changes can be made. Yet some risk factors are controllable, for example heaving drinking, smoking, and being obese.</p>
<p>Exercise your tongue and minimize sleep apnea symptoms. For three minutes, press your tongue up to the roof of your mouth. This exercise strengthens the tongue and throat muscles, making it less possible for them to allow the blocking of your air passage during sleep.</p>
<p>If you have sleep apnea, you are not likely to realize it during your sleep. If you find yourself falling asleep when you are driving, feel exhausted after a full night of sleep or feel strangely sleepy, talk to your doctor. Although you are not likely to realize that you are fighting for air every night as you sleep, you may very well have developed sleep apnea.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re admitted to the hospital, take your sleep apnea machine with you. While a hospital will have CPAP machines, you may be much more comfortable with a machine that already fits you well. It will already be at your personal settings and pressure, and be the mask you know you can sleep in. It will be much simpler to continue using a CPAP machine in the hospital if you don&#8217;t have to deal with unfamiliar equipment.</p>
<p>Sleep apnea is not to be taken lightly. It&#8217;s important to seek medical advice as soon as you suspect you may be suffering from it. If the doctor determines you are suffering with sleep apnea, you should consult with someone who specializes in this disorder in order to effectively treat the condition.</p>
<p>You should visit a specialist. Your regular doctor may be able to help you out when you are dealing with the horrible reality of having sleep apnea, but seeing a specialist may provide quicker relief. A specialist can give you in-depth information about your particular apnea and what is causing it. They will also tell you of different ways to manage your sleep apnea.</p>
<p>If you have sleep apnea, be proactive about finding and following treatment options. If you don&#8217;t consult a physician about what you can do, your condition will worsen and may even threaten your life. You shouldn&#8217;t allow your snoring and sleep quality to worsen. If you believe you may suffer from sleep apnea, immediately visit your doctor.</p>
<p> <img src="http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8517/8511358483_ca2b7a4f77.jpg" align="right" width="222" style="padding:10px;" /> Even though sleep apnea may be harmful to your health, it is actually good that there are many wonderful treatments available. In the previous paragraphs, you found several tips to aid you in finding immediate relief. If they&#8217;re not working out for you, get in touch with a doctor as soon as possible.</p>

<description><![CDATA[A small study showed that patients with atrial fibrillation(AF) should be tested for sleep apnea wit]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A small study showed that patients with atrial fibrillation(AF) should be tested for sleep apnea with polysomnography instead of portable diagnostic methods, because portable methods can greatly underestimate the incidence of apnea in those patients.</p>
<p>	Atrial Fibrillation is the most common form of abnormal heart beat (cardiac arrhythmia). Any sort of irregular heart rhythm can cause depression and eventual mortality. Sleep apnea, or the cessation of breathing during sleep, greatly increases the risk of AF, particularly when left untreated.</p>
<p>	Using the portable polygraphy tests 17 of the 30 subjects were identified as having sleep disordered breathing. 13 were diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, and 4 with moderate sleep disordered breathing. </p>
<p>Researchers did not find more cases of apnea when they switched to the PSG, but they did find that many of those “mild” cases were in fact moderate, and the moderate cases should have been diagnosed as severe. The issue of a misdiagnosed severity comes with the treatment. For many mild cases doctors simply tell patients to use an <a href="http://sleepjoy.com/pillows">apnea pillow</a> or even just ignore the disorder, where moderate and severe cases are treated by issuing breathing devices.</p>
<p>If you have mild sleep apnea, a <a href="http://sleepjoy.com/pillows">memory foam pillow</a> could help to lessen symptoms. To read more on the study, visit <a href="http://www.theheart.org">theheart.org</a>.</p>

<description><![CDATA[There has been a great rise in cases of veteran&#8217;s sleep apnea being reported since the first I]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>	There has been a great rise in cases of veteran&#8217;s sleep apnea being reported since the first Iraq war. Though many researchers and doctors link the increase to the air quality in the Middle East, some think that the rise is in reportings, not actual cases. Looking at those with sleep apnea and PTSD from Vietnam as well as Iraq and Afghanistan, researchers think the two disorders could be linked.</p>
<p>	It&#8217;s fairly well known that one of the side effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is troubled sleep. It seems logical, that the nightmares of war would bother you the most at night. And though scientists don&#8217;t quite understand what causes the physical disruptions of REM sleep, they have found that treating sleep apnea also decreases issues of nighttime PTSD. PTSD sufferers not only have problems with nightmares and disrupted REM sleep, but also have trouble falling asleep.</p>
<p>	Obstructive sleep apnea, the most common form, causes breathing disturbances while asleep. In most cases apnea is caused by obstructions of the airway, either through blockage or collapse (particularly in obese sufferers). The momentary cessation of breathing interrupts sleep. Though these disruptions only last a second or two, they change the architecture of sleep for the whole night. Sufferers often wake up tired and feel the effects of lack of sleep the whole day.</p>
<p>	Apnea interruptions are most common in REM sleep because muscles relax most during that phase. When neck muscles are relaxed the breathing passages are more likely to become obstructed or close.</p>
<p>	In a recent study published in <a href="http://psy.psychiatryonline.org/index.dtl">Psychosomatics</a>, scientists found that many PTSD symptoms were much less common when veterans sleep apnea was treated. Though these few cases do not firmly link the two disorders, the research is a firm step in the direction of finding a treatment for our soldiers when they return from war.</p>
<p>If you are looking for a sleep apnea home remedy, try purchasing a <a href="http://sleepjoy.com/pillows">memory foam pillow</a>. Memory foam makes the best apnea pillow because it allows for the most natural alignment of your head, neck, and shoulders. This proper alignment minimizes the occurrence of air passageways closing.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>	Behavioral problems in youth have been linked to sleep disordered breathing because complications like sleep apnea keep children from getting a full night of rest. Obese children are at a much higher risk of developing apnea, and though anyone could get the problem, occurrences have been on the rise alongside the weight epidemic in American youth. Recent studies suggest that there is a way to keep the condition at bay even if kids don&#8217;t lose weight. By removing tonsils and adenoids, children have a better chance of getting a full night of rest, thereby improving behavior and attention span.</p>
<p>If surgery seems like too drastic action to take with your child, consider getting him a sleep apnea pillow. A memory foam pillow can help sufferers of apnea sleep through the night by contouring to the shape of their head and neck instead of the body being forced to take the shape of the pillow. And starting at just $19.99, you can&#8217;t go wrong with a SleepJoy <a href="http://sleepjoy.com/pillows">memory foam pillow</a>!</p>

<description><![CDATA[Studies have found that sufferers of sleep apnea have been able to raise the amount of gray matter i]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Studies have found that sufferers of sleep apnea have been able to raise the amount of gray matter in their brains by using CPAP, or continuous positive airway pressure therapy.<br />
The study found that those people with sleep apnea had a reduced amount of gray matter compared to the healthy patients. After three months of CPAP therapy, the apnea patients found they had increased volumes of gray matter. The improvements teetered off, though; when re-evaluated one year later CPAP did not improve gray matter more than it did in those first three months.</p>
<p>How does CPAP work? Apnea, specifically obstructive sleep apnea, is a breathing disorder in which the throat tissue collapses, causing a temporary cessation of air flow. The muscles collapse because they are weak; the condition is most prominent in overweight populations. CPAP therapy provides air through a face mask, correcting levels of oxygen in the blood to reduce (and if necessary, shorten) pausing.<br />
The study was done using 17 apnea patients and 15 healthy people. The full story on this Italian study can be found at <a href="http://www.webmd.com/">webmd.com</a></p>
<p>If you cannot afford, or are uninterested in a CPAP but do want to get rid of your sleep apnea, try changing your pillow. Many apnea sufferers have found comfort in a contour <A href="https://www.sleepjoy.com/pillows">memory foam pillow</a>, which molds naturally to your body&#8217;s proper alignment. When your head, neck, throat and chest are aligned, your throat is less apt to collapse.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan have myriad issues to deal with when returning home from war. Most of the issues are not new; the returning men from Vietnam suffered the same problems.<br />
But sleep disorders are on the rise in veterans. The number of soldiers who receive benefits for sleep disorders has increased 61% over the last two years, costing over $500 million per year in taxpayer dollars.</p>
<p>One of the problems on the rise in veteran populations is sleep apnea. The disorder is usually associated with obesity, but experts are linking the disorder to soldiers&#8217; exposure to dust and smoke. </p>
<p>But it&#8217;s not just soldiers from the war on terror that are cashing in on their military health benefits. As soldiers from Vietnam age and get heavier, they too become more susceptible to the problem.</p>
<p>Sleep Apnea is caused by an obstruction in the airway that causes cessation of breathing. The individual wakes, moves to re-open the passageway, and then returns to sleep. How often one is awoken by their apnea varies greatly from case to case.</p>
<p>5% of Americans suffer from sleep apnea. The disorder is much more common in veterans; a whopping 20% suffer from the problem. Whether it&#8217;s genetic or situational is still up in the air. Some blame the physique of soldiers, comparing them to football players. Both groups are likely to get apnea late in life because they gain significant amounts of weight as they age and go from incredibly active to sedentary.</p>
<p>Those with the worst cases of sleep apnea are given breathing devices that force the air passages to remain open at night. For those with minor cases of sleep apnea, throat exercises and a good pillow are recommended. A great pillow for sufferers of sleep apnea is the contour memory foam pillow. Get your <a href="https://www.sleepjoy.com/pillows">memory foam pillow</a> today at a great low price from Sleep Joy! <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a title="www.JustHot4U.net" href="http://www.justhot4u.net/">STOP SNORING NATURALLY</a></p>
<p>OVERCOME SNORING ONCE AND FOR ALL</p>
<p>There are many probing snoring questions that people have that will be answered with the stop snoring naturally product. The common notion of the society is to blame men for snoring because snoring. Have you always had snoring issues ever since you could remember? Are you aware of the reasons why you snore? Are you aware of what causes you to snore? Has snoring become a bother to you now? Are you doing something about your snoring? Did you know that there is a cure for snoring? Do you want to have snore-free sleeps? Has it ever occurred to you that snoring can be a health problem? What is snoring actually to you? Do you ever ask yourself if snoring is really normal or not? Is your snoring beginning a bother to you and your partner when sleeping at night? Are you willing to take actions about your snoring soon? Snoring is a normal occurrence for men culturally.</p>
<p>WHAT IS SNORING?</p>
<p>The tongue also plays a part of making the snoring sound. Snoring reveals that the tissues within the air walls are vibrating much more intensively than our normal inhale and exhale breathing pattern. The position of the tongue can be one of the causes of snoring.</p>
<p>TYPES OF SNORING</p>
<p>The tongue inflicted snore is caused when the back of the tongue is blocking some parts of the air passageways which produces the snoring sound. The size of your tongue or the position of your tongue when you sleep results in the tongue inflicted snore. Snoring when sleeping in any positions is a bit more serious than the other types of snoring mentioned.</p>
<p>MOST COMMONLY KNOWN CAUSES OF SNORING</p>
<p>Non smokers are not saved from snoring caused by smoking because second hand smoke is just as harmful as first hand smoke. Snoring caused by normal aging is not only applicable for men but it is applicable for women who are getting older as well. As a result of snoring being hereditary, parents can pass on to the snoring genes of their child. Men also have a much narrower air pathways than women which causes males to be more prone to snoring. A person who intakes too much fatty foods and oily foods that can create a fat deposit around the air tracks and pathways will cause the throat to be rigid and thus constricts the air to flow so the air tries to pass through in which creates vibrations and causes snoring to occur.</p>
<p>CONTROLLED AND UNCONTROLLED FACTORS OF SNORING</p>
<p>If people watch what they eat, eat less, and eat more healthily then they will not begin snoring.</p>
<p>WHAT FOODS CAUSES US TO SNORE?</p>
<p>Dairy products can be a cause of snoring. Since we already know that fatty foods may usually induce snoring when we sleep, it is best that you stay away from the succulent fats. You can&#8217;t go wrong when adding veggies to your diet.</p>
<p>TIPS ON HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEIGHT AND EATING HABITS TO AVOID SNORING</p>
<p>Try to nibble your food at a slower pace than your usual fast pace eating speed to avoid snoring. Using smaller bowls and plates have been psychologically proven to work when dieting and is very effective. Cutting out the heavy dinners will help you to avoid snoring. Seeing junk foods at the store, sends a message to your mind that whispers to you every so softly that these food are great and that you should buy them to eat but I&#8217;m here to tell you if you buy these junk foods you will most likely to snore nightly.</p>
<p>WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE SNORING SEVERELY?</p>
<p>One way to stop your snoring is before lying on your bed, place an additional pillow to elevate the upper part of your body when you are asleep or if you have one pillow, double it. Best attitude to have when fighting snoring is to be proactive and cautious of your health as you are the primary person who knows when any unnatural happenings are going on within your body. By losing weight, you will feel more active and by keeping in shape it helps the body to function normally, including you air paths that can cause snoring. It&#8217;s normal have a few shots of brandy before bedtime but make sure that your number of shots are limited and try not to gulp down half of the bottle alone then go to sleep because this will not do you any good.</p>
<p><a title="Stop Your Snoring" href="http://tinyurl.com/yafs6v8">Stop Your Snoring Naturally! </a></p>
<p>Say &#8220;goodbye&#8221; to sleepless nights. Wake up feeling energized!</p>
