Lähdin monen ringin tauon jälkeen mukaan Salainen LeivontaYstävä-leikkiin, jonka tarkoituksena on siis lähettää ja vastaanottaa leivonta-aiheisia pikkuyllätyksiä kolmen kuukauden ajan. It wasn't easy for Chris Bosh and the Raps, but I'll take it

I was at the ACC for last night’s Raptors-Bulls tilt, and in the second half joined a few friends in a suite that seemed like it was on the roof of the building. It was much better than it sounds, though — from my angle in the upper corner, I was able to tell as soon as every shot left a Chicago player’s hand not just that it was going to miss, but also how badly it was going miss and where it would carom. I  relayed the information to Chris Bosh and the boys, who did a good job clearing the boards and pulling away. You’re welcome, team. Anyway, here’s my breakdown:

Chris Bosh: I’ll take 9-of-21 and a win over 37 and 15 and a loss to Zachary Randolph and the Grizzlies anyday. Bosh grinded and did what was necessary to will the Raps to a win — he was 10-of-10 from the line and got the best of Chicago’s big men in the second half.

Andrea Bargnani: Save for the Memphis game, probably his worst performance of the young season. Still, in past years when Bargnani had an off-night it meant about four points and three boards. Tonight he had 16 and six and helped put it away with a steal to draw a free-path foul in the final minutes.

Hedo Turkoglu: Where’s the fourth quarter killer instinct? Turk was scoreless in the final frame and missed a few open threes, part of an all-around nondescript effort. His peripherals were nice (11 boards, four assists and two steals), but I’d like to see the Crazy-Eyez Killa I’ve heard so much about.

My guy is back on track

Jose Calderon: My man. Jose is back to doing what’s expected of him — controlling the ball, pacing the offense and knocking down open shots. He was 8-of-10 last night for 18 points and six dimes and attacked the rim with some vigor late in the game to help finish it off.

DeMar DeRozan: By far his best game. DeRo crashed the boards, made a couple open shots and started the turnaround with a dangerous jam early in the third quarter. Now you gotta keep bringing it, young fella.

Amir Johnson: What was with the black lowtops? Does he get fined for that? Whatever, if he keeps playing with the intensity he’s brought off the bench the past two games, I’ll be more than happy to pay that fine for him (as long as it’s no more than $10).

Jarrett Jack: Ugly night (five points on 2-of-8, one assist 21 minutes) for the guy brought in to split point guard minutes. He had a similar role last year in Indiana, so it would be nice to see him get it cooking sooner rather than later.

Antoine Wright: Shoot less! Or better yet, don’t ever, ever touch the ball on offense. Funny, I was in the process of telling a friend how much I hated Wright on the offensive end but loved his D right when he made that killer two-handed block. He has to keep bringing it on that end, because that’s what’s going to keep him in the league.

Marco Belinelli: A quiet night all-around young Sly. Six points (on 1-of-4), but we didn’t lose much on the defensive end with him.

Rasho Nesterovic: Only saw three minutes of action and was a non-factor. Still love the guy though.

Hey folks, Harry here… It is Saturday, the second SXSW Saturday of the year – and yes, I’m about to head out to see more movies. It has been a wonderful, yet taxing week of cinema. But throughout this week – there’s been the update on the casting of HALE CAESAR. For quite some time, the role belonged to Forest Whitaker, but a push in the schedule made it impossible for the Ghost Dog to continue with the film. Then I received a call, informing me that rapper, 50 CENT aka Curtis Jackson, had stepped into the role. Then Sly sent me an email regarding that casting, that I updated the story with. Well… today, I get woke up with a very enthusiastic call from Stallone, who has recast the role of Hale Caesar for a final (hopefully) time. So… who is Hale Caesar?First off – he’s 6′2 & a half” and BIG. He’s a former San Diego Charger. He made his screen debut with Arnold Schwarzeneggar in THE 6TH DAY. And his most recent film will be this summer’s Arnie-less TERMINATOR SALVATION. He is TERRY CREWS. Not necessarily a big name, but a big man to take his place among other big men. As I said, Sly seems very enthusiastic about this fella and I look forward to seeing what Terry Crews has in store for us.

Quem era fã de filmes de ação nos anos 80, imaginava que Arnie e Stallone mal se falavam devido a tamanha rivalidade, os dois se alfinetavam em seus próprios filmes, como tiradas em “O último grande herói”, de Schuaza e “Demolidor” de Stallone, quando este se espanta ao saber que Arnie tinha virado presidente… Como se sabe, os três são donos da franquia Planet Hollywood.

No final da década surge ainda mais um astro dos filmes de ação, criando um novo tipo de gênero dentro de tiros e explosões, com Duro de Matar (Die Hard – 1988). Os filmes de ação foram eleitos a um novo patamar, o outrora raquítico Bruce Willis, de A Gata e o Rato, estrelava um filme em que enfrentava terroristas em um prédio e não morria de jeito nenhum, a partir dai surgiu Die Hard no navio (Força em Alerta), Die Hard no ar (Passageiro 57) e Die Hard até em ônibus (Velocidade Máxima)… Fora que essa época era cheia de astros que mesmo com pequenas participações alçaram voos maiores posteriormente, como Dolph Lundgren e Jean Cloude Vandorme…

Jet Li e mais recentemente Jason Statham surgiram como astros desse tipo de filme.
Como essa década anda resgatando muita coisa dos anos 80, e desenterrando franquias desde desenhos até séries e filmes da época como Rocky, Duro de Matar e Rambo, titio Sly teve a ideia brilhante de juntar todos esses refugos em um filme de ação superficial mas cheio do que interessa: Porrada, tiros, corre-corre e algum vilão mequetrefe levando o farelo no final… a sinopse é esta:

“Um time de mercenários vem a América do Sul (provavelmente Brasil com cara de Colômbia e capital Buenos Aires onde todo mundo fala inglês) com a missão de tirar do poder um ditador tirano.”

Eis que um dia esperado por muitos chegou… No último sábado, dia 24, Arnie, Sly e Willis filmarão juntos uma cena de cinco minutos para o filme “Os Mercenários” (The Expendlsajdlbles no original)… A cena se passa em uma igreja e tem tomadas externas e dentro do santuário.

Sly afirma que “Os mercenários” tentará colocar os socos de volta às telas em uma era na qual efeitos especiais estão dominando cada vez mais o gênero de ação.“

O trailler dizem que vazou e agora pode ser visto por quem quiser na grande rede…

CARAIO! Lundgren versus Jet Li!!! O George Michael é o capanga do ditador! …e a presença Gisele (Ah Gisele) Itiê vale o ingresso… É o que eu digo, filmes do Norris e do Vandorme são bons se você sabe o que esperar deles, o cinema atual anda meio sisudo, cheio de tendencias FRESCAS sombrias e precisando de uns filmes inúteis descontraídos como esse…

PS: Jean Cloude Vandorme chegou a ser chamado mas recusou…

Ahhhhh, it is good to see Sly Stallone firing on all cylinders again.  And when I say ‘firing on all cylinders’ I mean the cylinders of a 60 year old Mack truck; where the driver has gone into a steroids coma and crashed into a fireworks making plant.  It is a horrible accident, but you just can’t turn away.  You might even take a photo or two.

Here at ESCAPE ARTIST we LOVE action movies (the plot-less the better), and for years we have been talking about writing an action movie that brings all of our old favorites together in ONE out of this world flick.  Dudes like Sly, Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, and, of course Chuck Norris.  But it seems that good ‘ol Sly has a spy in the ESCAPE ARTIST factory, and has stolen our idea.  Not only does he have a few action ‘hall-of-famers,’ but also recruited a few of the up-and-comers of the action genre.  Check out the cast list at IMDB.com: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253/

5. Rambo Films soll bald beginnen.
Doch all das ist Sly anscheinend nicht genug und so steigt er noch einmal in seine größten Rolle, Rocky Ballboa. Zum 7. Mal soll der Boxer nun zurück auf die Leinwand kommen.
Darf man gespannt sein?
