Happy New Year!

Before anything else I’d like to greet you all a Happy Happy New Year! Recalling back how my 2012 went, I’d say It was an amazing year. In a span of 366 days, I got to know myself a bit more better and gained self-confidence and trust in myself. I got closer with my family even more. Mom understands how I love fashion so much I see how much she supports my dream. This year, I chose the path of having a small group of friends I can keep and trust for a very long time. I realized that not everyone are meant to stay in your life forever. My girl-friends in St. Paul that I share the same interest with, although I will never forget my past girl-friends who taught me much about love. To Shane, (Mamang!) whom I never expected that are friendship will go to that extent (Haha Shane you know that!). To my bestfriend, Shiela, I know we don’t meet much like other bestfriends does. But the relationship we built for 6 years can’t beat how much we understand each other sentiments and problems. To Mart, who has been my friend for years. The shutterbug behind some of the shoots I post here. He has taken so much effort in editing my photos, so thank you mart! And Thank you to my readers who take the time to read my blog posts. Here are the highlights of my 2012!

I still keep the polka-dotted/ traditional outfit every new year. Although there’s not much circles going on I try to keep the style simple yet chic.

Continuing my earlier post. Now it’s SM GTW and SM Ladies’ Fashion collection’s turn to strut the runway. The model above is wearing a maxi dress in tribal prints. ♥

Floral dress. In the next few photos you’ll be seeing floral prints paired with bold tops and bottoms.

The joint colors of this cropped top and the pants is very nautical.

Circa 50′s on their hair. The model on the left is wearing a solid colored top and pants which was topped with floral printed blazer. The model on the right which is Valerie Weigmann is wearing a sheered top over a printed shorts.

The model is wearing a dress with laser cutouts on the neckline. I love this one!

See that stunning red dress? that’s the last from SM Ladies’ Fashion, a beautiful way to end the show. Okay that night I was marveled on what I just saw, how I wish I could change my wardrobe in a split of a second and pick pieces that I love on SM Ladies’ and Parisian shoes collection and put them all at once in my closet. Okay that’s too much haha, anyway I’ll post my OOTD for this day on my next post please check on that.

Ta-dah! Finally, I was able to attend Philippine Fashion Week. And I remember that I have put it on my wish-list and goals for this year before. Everything that had happen last wednesday hasn’t still sunken in me. And I’d like to thank SM Ladies’ Fashion for giving me this passes. Merci beaucoup! Mart and I came ready on this event with his SLR haha.

We seated at the 5th row. And we really tried our best to get the best seats, at least close enough on the runway. But it was hard to look for the best seats that time, we were like minutes late after they let the people in.

Yves Saint Laurent is being sued for trademark infringement for selling shoes that have red outer soles, a style French shoe designer Christian Louboutin insists is his creation.

Louboutin filed the lawsuit Thursday in federal court in Manhattan. He is seeking a court injunction against the sale of the supposed copycat shoes in the U.S. and damages of at least $1 million.

Louboutin was informed by Yves Saint Laurent executives by letter in January that they planned to “continue to sell the infringing footwear,” the lawsuit states.
He introduced the red soles in 1992 and since then they have been on all of the company’s luxury shoes.

Saint Laurent has been selling red-sole shoes under brand names such as Tribute, Tribtoo, Palais and Woodstock at high-end fashion stores that also sell Louboutin footwear, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York and Bergdorf Goodman, according to the complaint.

Louboutin was informed by YSL executives by letter in January that they planned to “continue to sell the infringing footwear” the lawsuit states.

The Shoes Made for Me!

Presenting……. the shoes made for mwahhh! Hahaha. Ive never found a pair of shoes that would make me some inches higher without making me cry for pain, till i found this pair! I must say, my lower limbs are the most exercised part of my body by just simply walking in heels. The years of walking in towers earned me a 2-pack, that is… one for each leg. Hehe.

My friends and family know that I am actually a river stored in a human’s body; my true self gushes out of my hands and feet. I almost become a stockholder of Armando Caruso because of my sweat glands, but since I always lose my hankies, I decided not to buy anymore, plus I found a cheaper alternative – Tisyu. Hahaha. And because my feet serve as tunnels of my river-self, I find it really hard to find the perfect shoes. Wearing slippers is a no-no. Wearing mules is also a no-no. Wearing stilettos is definitely a no-no coz I have to make sure that if I sweat, I will still be able to walk. So I have a reason not to buy Havaianas. Hehehe. But it gives me all the reasons to spend 5 hours in the mall to find a good pair of shoes! Good thing I found this pair! This doesn’t give me the worries of stumbling when the river-me wants to reveal its true self. Feels like walking in flats, but I’m actually 4-inch higher!

I’m so happy with this not only because it doesn’t give me the cramps but because it gives value to every buck I spent! Thanks SM! A not-so-expensive pair but of good quality! Laveet! Hahaha.
