Ordet aktivist är ett intressant ord, eftersom det symboliserar en person som är en underhuggare och som uttnyttjas utav mer smarta och i vissa fall seriösa personer som sitter högre upp i samma falang, så att säga.

Sedan finns det många olika sorters aktivister, t ex miljöaktivister, djurrättsaktivister och vänsteraktivister. De två sistnämnda är varken demokratiska eller seriösa, ett exempel på detta skedde igår då c:a 50 idiotiska antidemokrater till vänsteraktivister försökte sabotera ett möte i Vellinge anordnat utav SDU, alltså Sverigedemokratisk Ungdom.

Deras försök, bl a via äggkastning och skrik av alla de slag, hade dock ingen effekt. Det finns nämligen saker som poliser, högtalare och volymknappar på högtalare.

När det gäller djurrättsaktivister så tycker jag att de är bra, bortsett ifrån de handlingar som de gör och begår. Om de bara lade av med dessa så skulle de komma längre, detsamma gäller vänsteraktivister.

Men detta fattar utav någon anledning inte dessa båda grupperingar, vilket säger ganska mycket om deras bångstyrighet och låga IQ. De bete’r sig enkelt uttryckt värre än t ex en stenkåt bisonoxetjur, vars hormonaktivitet har spårat ur så mycket att han är en fara för alla människor som råkar befinna sig i de marker som han befinner sig i.

Nu menar jag inte att vänsteraktivister och djurrättsaktivister utnyttjar djur sexuellt, t ex kor och katter, även om många utav dem verkar ha gjort det minst några gånger för mycket.

Detta kan i så fall förklara deras bete’ende vid t ex motdemonstatrationer, de är “översexuella” i en något konstig bemärkelse så att säga.

Motdemonstrationer och motdemonstrationer förresten, -Det är bara ett jävla bröl, som Brasse Brännström sade i sketchen “Klassens clown” ifrån 1976. Man skulle kunna tro att vänsteraktivister är kåta på sverigedemokrater och för övrigt alla som dessa aktivister är emot.

Snacka om att de är ruskigt osäkra på sig själva, det är de ju av allt att döma ändå förresten.

Hello there, how are you?

Today I was browsing the Internet, acquiring some knowledge if you prefer to call it like that, and I came across a posting that had the right path of creativity, therefore, I decided to re-invent it, edit it, and change it for your delightful entertainment.  Hopefully all of us girls can identify.. By all means, if you want to add another point, be my guest, this list can only keep getting better, that way we will find PRINCE CHARMING…

My Boyfriend Application and Test

First, a little about me. I’m a 26-year-old, very  good looking and intelligent Latina, with a full time Job and  attending University. I’m tired of wasting my time, so I have formulated some mandatory criteria in part A, and part B is based on points.

Part A

1) You must be born male. I’ll need to see a birth certificate proving so.

2) You must own something to wear to a formal reception. And at least a couple formal shoes.
3) You must not own or ever wear Birkenstocks, crocs footwear or wrangler jeans. Or wear your jeans so low, that  I can see the end of your briefs.
4) All your parts need to be in good working order, further testing will need to be conducted of course.
5) I can’t accept a regular drug user. Despite CA culture, I am including weed.
6) You must own at least four collared dress shirts. You need to look presentable standing next to me.
7) Your height must be proportional to your weight using the standard AMA guidelines. (fyi, I do prefer them taller than me, so you have to be at least 6 feet) .
You must have a couple photos which were  taken in the last 2 months.
9) English must be your first language. However you need to have a pretty good understanding of Spanish and Latin culture, or at least a desire to learn.

If you meet all of the requirements above then you may continue, if not, then you are now dismissed but thank you for applying to be my boyfriend.

Now: give yourself two points for each of the following criteria you meet

Part B

1) You have (or are working on) a degree.
2) You own a car and have a valid driver’s license. Suspended for DUIs: minus 10 points.

3) If your car is better and newer than mine add 5 points
4) You’ve never worn Ed Hardy, Affliction or any other Christian Audigier affiliated brand.

5) If 80% of your shoes can be described as sneakers take minus 5 points.
6) You follow at least one professional sport.
7) You have skills in bed. Not because you think you do, because your past experiences have told you.
You are not a born again Christian, Jehovah’s Witness or any other kind of religious fanatic.
9) You have been to at least three countries outside of the US.
10) You don’t need to call a handy man if something breaks around the house.
11) You know how to cook a meal for two. (Eggs, instant noodles, sandwiches, lean cuisine do not count as a meal)

12) You actually do shores around the house, like doing dishes after I cooked, help cleaning the kitchen, bringing flowers, wine etc..
13) You like stepping out of your bubble and trying new things like different cuisine, bungee jumping, salsa dancing.
14) You can make it through a romantic comedy without complaining (don’t worry we don’t have to tell your friends).
15) You have a great sense of humor. Are people laughing with you, or at you?
16) You can plan a good date without any help or advice from me. “I don’t know, what do you want to do” isn’t an answer.
17) You work out and enjoy being physically active. I hit the gym regularly, you should too.
18) You have a job that requires more than a high school diploma.
19) You read books, or at least you read the newspaper, so we can talk about worldwide subjects.  

20) You are an educated individual. You challenge my intellectual abilities.
21) You have a 5 year goal.
22) You aren’t afraid of being yourself, even if you have a dorky, nerdy side. (that’s kinda hot).
23) You’re competitive, and I don’t mean you like to battle it out on Wii with your buddies on the weekends.
24) You know how to dance.

25) You are spontaneous and creative.

26) You are secure about yourself and us. Meaning I’m not looking for a jealous, immature, insecure chauvinistic pig. People are going to check us out. Just enjoy the ride, at the end of the night I’m going home with you.

27) Last but not least, you can acknowledge when you screw up, and say sorry;  flowers and a romantic dinner might help you get some points back.

If you have a score of 40+ then please contact me immediately. If you scored between 20-35 pts, you can contact me, but I don’t have a lot of hope for our future relationship. If you did not score high enough, then please do not contact me, but if at some time in the future you are able to improve yourself and meet the minimum requirements, then you may re-apply.

5. Eat before shopping.

Smart lance son modèle 100% électrique la Smart Fortwo.
Elle est testée a Londres depuis 2 ans, elle vient d’obtenir son autorisation de production. Elle ne dégage pas d’émission et a eu autonomie de 135km et récupère de l’énergie au freinage.

How can we compete with India and China when we value athletic prowess, fashion and trendy music above education? According to New York City Chancellor Joel Klein “Those countries that are doing best are recruiting their K-12 teachers from the top third of their college graduates.  America is recruiting our teachers generally from the bottom third… I pay teachers, basically, based on length of service…I can’t, by contract, pay math and science teachers more…” (Wall Street Journal, October 26, 2009).

Historical View of Education Reform:

Throughout United States history, we have instituted periodic educational reforms, largely in response to crisis and generally by introducing standards.

-       Sputnik era (1957) produced unanimous recognition that we needed better schooling to compete against Russia, but reforms focused on bringing up the floor, rather than challenging advanced students.

-       In 1983 the U.S. Department of Education released a report called “A Nation at Risk,” causing another wave of reforms targeting the underperforming.

-       The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 resulted in similar action targeted towards weaker students.

Consequences:

Teaching to the Test: Following No Child Left Behind, teachers throughout United States public schools began “teaching to the test” in order to raise evaluations and certain states actually lowered standards hoping to flaunt better performance.

Skewed View of Equality: The concept of “equality” can also be an issue. Our democratic system has positioned education as the great equalizer.  Equality of education has long been considered a vehicle to foster the equal occupational and financial opportunities intrinsic to our democratic values.  Confusion between equality of curriculum, racial equality and equality of outcomes, however, has obfuscated our educational goals.

Ill Performing Gifted Programs: For the most part, education for advanced learners has been uninspired—a poor attempt to develop inquisitive minds. In the actual classroom, high achieving children are most often given more work—rather than more interesting word—to keep them busy and enable the teacher to focus on those who “need her attention.”

The Challenge to Value our Gifted Learners: The Social Aspect of Being “Smart:” Being “smart” can be taboo; some students hide their intelligence and pursue more socially acceptable activities, believing that they can successfully “fit in” by foregoing interest in learning. We worked with a boy with an IQ of 165.  In elementary school he read Scientific American and became a chess champion.  Hoping to achieve popularity during adolescence, he abandoned these pursuits in favor of football.  His teenage years were marked by failed classes and behavioral difficulties as he tried to be someone other than himself. Peer pressure causes children to sink to the least common denominator, rather than cultivating the brightest minds.

Conclusion:

Until our country recognizes intelligence as a positive attribute and feels comfortable fostering our highest achievers regardless of race or socioeconomic class, the United States cannot compete with countries that identify and train their brightest to accomplish their utmost.

“Bill, do you think you are smart enough, decisive enough, intellectual enough to keep me watching your show?”

Bill O’Reilly thought he hit it out of the park with his most condescending question to Sarah Palin last night on Fox News, The Factor. He asked her if she thought she was smart enough, decisive enough and intellectual enough to be President of the United States.  That question was right up there on the condescension scale with Katie Couric’s back-handed question…”Do you read?”

The tease of that question played over and over on Fox News. Bill O’Reilly must have thought that question was his crowning glory. The highlight of his interview. Something the mainstream media would love to pick up on and make him more endearing to them. Maybe the late night comedians could use that material. What agenda did a question like that come from?

I thought Bill O’Reilly was a bigger person than that. Always claiming to be fair? What was fair about that? I don’t know about you but that turned me off to The Factor. Big time!

With the Katie Couric question, Sarah was not going to dignify it with an answer. So she rambled on without answering the obviously degrading question.  Bill O’Reilly stated she couldn’t answer Couric’s question. He went on to say what he would have said and named the obvious daily reading resources for the news around the world. Bill. It’s not about you. 

Sarah Palin set him straight on that one. It’s not that she couldn’t  answer Katie Couric’s condescending question, she wouldn’t answer it.

It reminded me of a time when my daughter worked in a green house/nursery the summer before her senior year of High School. Her boyfriend’s father upon learning she was working at a green house asked her to name ten different flowers for him.  Nope. Wasn’t going to do it for anything! Why? It was a demeaning question. It insulted her intelligence and she wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction of an answer. She could have named many more than ten but it was the principle of the matter.

Sarah learned the hard way, in the public arena, you have to answer all questions, no matter how ignorant they may be or what agenda they are crafted from.

When the self loving Bill O’Reilly asked the condescending question, Sarah answered it. She mentioned something that seems to be foreign to the present administration. Common sense!  She relates to middle America. The most of us. You don’t have to attend an Ivy League school to lead.  And Americans are getting tired of the lame stream media’s (as Bernie Goldberg calls it) outlandish attacks on her. Right again!

She had to defend her experience as Bill O’Reilly surmised she was inexperienced. Now if you want to talk about inexperience, he could have compared her accomplishments to Barack Obama’s. But that ’s okay Sarah did that quite well herself.

After questioning Sarah’s mental ability to lead this great nation of ours, he asked Sarah if she thought Barack Obama was smart. As in, nobody is debating Obama’s intelligence. Bill O’Reilly didn’t ask Obama if he thought he was smart enough, decisive enough and intellectual enough to lead our great country when he interviewed him. Hillary Clinton’s cranial efficiency was never questioned when Bill O’Reilly interviewed her. Catching some flack about the question he asked Sarah Palin, he said he would ask it of anyone. I would like to know one other candidate he has ever asked that question. Not that Sarah Palin is a candidate, Bill O’Reilly interviewed her as though she was.

 Bill O’Reilly continued to hammer Sarah Palin about her opinion of Obama. Is he honest? Is he a socialist?  Sarah is right. His actions speak louder than words. So judge for yourself.

Unlike Bill O’Reilly, Sarah Palin is not straddling the fence like a bronco rider. She is not trying to make people like her and doesn’t bring most conversations back around to me me  me. You don’t have to guess where she stands because she clearly states her beliefs.  She is not trying to buddy up to the liberals and keep the conservatives happy at the same time. She is not concerned with ratings, she is concerned about the future of the blessed United States of America.

With Sarah Palin, what you see is what you get. How refreshing! She speaks clearly without the double tongued finesse of seasoned politicians. I can’t see Sarah Palin saying one thing publicly and voting the opposite. She has no underlying motives. She says what she thinks and thinks what she says. Imagine that?

Just a word to those who say we should not criticise Barack Obama but pray for him. I say we do both. Those of you that have been so vocal as to say “shut up and pray!”  How much time have you spent in prayer for Sarah Palin? If you want to pray for someone who has suffered unmeasurably for her faith and political beliefs then it would be Sarah Palin.

Today a vote will be taken on ObamaCare. All the so-called great minds are assembled. They will vote to bring the bill up for debate, when we know this is actually a vote for ObamaCare and gives the wavering Democrats a way out. They intend to push this horrendous bill through against the will of the people. How smart is that?

Yay! Ahh Dahhhh!

M – There was a post all ready to be added here, but it was put aside today as a new, more time-relevant story came about. It turns out that Mango’s first intelligible (roughly speaking) words did not relate (no pun intended) to either one of us. Twas neither “Mama” nor “Dada” that the child spake to us. To be fair, she has used those sounds, but not in direct connection with either one of us. They were babbled used when scaling the couch, playing with her bear toy, crawling across the ground, etc. Nope, it was “all done’ (Ahh dahh) and was her indicating she had eaten enough and we were to clean up her smeared supper and take her out of her high chair. She even kind of waved her arms as yet another form of dismissal, as one might do to their servants. The words came about because at the end of every meal we would ask her if she was all done with her meal/food/fun. The ‘Mommy’ and ‘Daddy’ stuff was also done frequently, but not at predefined times where there was a predictable routine for her.

She still gets us with her charm though.

No princípio daquele curso para facilitar o aprendizado dos termos técnicos de hardware, foi feita uma comparação do nosso corpo como sendo a placa mãe e nosso cérebro a CPU. Assim, entendemos que somos seres, criados de uma forma muito especial, pois não existe no mundo inteiro dois seres humanos iguais. Por conta disso, precisamos processar nossos relacionamentos sociais de forma interativa, trocando arquivos de todos os tipos de extensões.

Podemos considerar que essa interatividade entre nós, seres humanos, feita de forma consciente ou até mesmo inconsciente, quando em família, seria uma LAN, no meio social no qual estamos inseridos, uma Intranet; já com a população global, uma Internet.

Nessas conexões ininterruptas acabamos nos tornando vulneráveis, porque somos frequentemente bombardeados por vírus cada vez mais sofisticados. Existem alguns ambientes de trabalho bastante propícios para a invasão de HACKERS, com os vírus SMART, interessados principalmente em apenas infectar os menos avisados e consequentemente suas LANs (família). Quando atingem seus objetivos, apenas se vangloriam com isso.

Aqueles que trabalham mais diretamente na área de informática, podem compreender melhor do que eu, sobre a mutabilidade desse tipo de vírus que, uma vez dentro do nosso corpo, acabam comprometendo nossa personalidade, nossa auto-estima e até mesmo nosso senso de humor.

Quando nos damos conta de que já fomos infectados, a maior angustia que enfrentamos é a impossibilidade de nos desconectarmos da rede, para evitar que os computadores da nossa LAN também sejam contaminados. Além disso, ainda temos que manter nosso GABINETE MENTOR(corpo) com uma aparência agradável, até que encontremos a vacina correspondente para exterminar completamente o tal vírus; isto sem que alguém venha perceber que, o que ocorreu, tenha sido por displicência nossa.

Enquanto isso, lentamente, vamos perdendo a vontade de viver, nos isolando de tudo e de todos, e acabamos apenas cumprindo nossas obrigações profissionais. Não porque elas nos promovam alguma satisfação, mas sim porque são imprescindíveis para nossa sobrevivência.

Acabamos esquecendo de nós mesmos, nos anulamos e passamos a viver apenas de aparências para agradar aos outros; tudo isso por falta de tempo para fazermos uma frequente manutenção em nosso HD. Se não fizermos, pelo menos semanalmente um SCANDISK e uma DESFRAGMENTAÇÃO em nosso drive C:, estaremos diminuindo nosso tempo de vida útil.

Surgem várias interrogações… “quando fazer essa manutenção?”… não temos tempo para isso; “quem faria essa manutenção?”.. nós mesmos não seríamos as pessoas indicadas, principalmente se já estivermos infectados. A única solução seria podermos contar com um  Administrador; sim, esse seria o caminho mais sensato: nos colocarmos à disposição de alguém que fosse de nossa extrema confiança para fazer constantemente essa manutenção dentro de nossas vidas e de nossas LANs.

Quem, melhor do que Aquele que nos criou, para ser o Administrador da nossa LAN? Com certeza Ele abrirá nosso Gabinete Mentor com muito cuidado e, por conhecer a senha de todos os componentes internos, poderá acessar e fazer uma varredura completa: exterminar os vírus, corrigir os erros e restaurar os arquivos originais de nossa personalidade; feito isso, tudo voltará a funcionar perfeitamente, e nossos relacionamentos dentro de nossa LAN poderão ser mais abertos.

“… entreteceste-me no ventre de minha mãe. Eu te louvarei, porque de um modo terrível, e tão maravilhoso fui formado; maravilhosas são as tuas obras, e a minha alma o sabe muito bem. Será que esse Administrador nos criaria de uma forma tão complexa e especial, nos conectaria a uma LAN e também a uma rede mundial, sem qualquer objetivo mais sublime?!!! Será que Ele sendo conhecedor dessa senha de acesso para nos inicializar todas as manhãs quando acordamos, ficaria apenas assistindo impassivelmente nossos sofrimentos e desilusões, até chegarmos a uma pane total, onde a única solução seria a troca do nosso HD?!!!

Quando começamos a raciocinar sobre nossa situação, chegamos até a pensar: como Ele poderá restaurar nossa personalidade original? Será que esse Administrador que nos criou, se lembrou de fazer um BACKUP de todos os arquivos que foram sendo registrados em nossa CPU? Mesmo aqueles recebidos ao longo de nossas vidas, aqueles de extensão “.pps”, que teimavam em nos fazer vizualisá-los do começo ao fim, mas que sempre nos davam um novo ânimo para que continuássemos conectados à rede?

Se você estiver enfrentando uma situação como esta, saiba que é o momento de parar e refletir, quando é que o primeiro vírus contaminou sua vida e acabou deixando marcas de mágoas, ressentimentos, tristezas, desespero e até mesmo solidão.

Fale com o Administrador que te criou e permita que Ele faça, a partir de então, manutenções periódicas em você. Com certeza Ele irá restaurar sua personalidade original e exterminará todos os vírus que te infectaram, para que você possa ser novamente conectado, de forma sadia à sua rede local. Ele também exterminará o sentimento de culpa que possa estar te corroendo, devido à consciência de estar infectado sem poder se desconectar de sua LAN.

Você pode até ter chegado a pensar que não haveria mais restauração para o seu caso. Mas eu te aconselho que você pergunte para seu Administrador, pois ninguém melhor do que Ele, para lhe dizer a verdade, seja ela qual for.

Coloque-se à disposição do Administrador de nossas vidas, o Deus Criador e pare de fugir de você mesmo; levante a cabeça e lembre-se sempre, que você também foi criado de forma especial, para proporcionar grandes benefícios à rede que já estava constituída quando você chegou a este mundo.

Fale com seu Administrador. Depois de restaurá-lo, Ele te indicará se o melhor caminho é você se reconectar à sua LAN ou ser conectado a uma nova LAN. Seguindo suas orientações, creio que tudo será resolvido pacificamente. Lembre-se de que nenhum ser humano consegue viver desconectado da sociedade, pois foi para isso que fomos criados; para trocarmos arquivos sadios, e juntos, construirmos um mundo melhor.

Harga baru harddisk laptop 500GB dan harddisk desktop 1TB di akhir tahun 2009 hanya Rp 800.000 s/d Rp 900.000. Harga itu naik menjadi tidak ternilai ketika sudah berisi data penting milik pribadi maupun milik tempat bekerja. Data yang sangat penting itu dapat hilang karena dicuri secara fisik, atau karena harddisk rusak alias crash.

Untuk menghindari kehilangan data akibat kerusakan salah satu harddisk pada desktop, tersedia teknologi RAID, yang memungkinkan penyimpanan data secara redundan. Fitur tersebut membutuhkan 2 atau lebih harddisk untuk bekerja. Fitur ini amat jarang ditemui pada laptop karena umumnya laptop hanya mampu menampung 1 harddisk. Pengguna laptop lebih sering menyimpan data cadangan pada harddisk eksternal atau USB flash disk.

Harddisk saat ini telah memiliki fitur Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (SMART). Fitur SMART tersebut memungkinkan harddisk memberikan laporan bahwa usianya akan segera berakhir. Dalam hitungan hari sejak diperingatkan SMART, Anda harus segera menyelamatkan data Anda dari harddisk tersebut.

Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) harddisk umumnya 3-5 tahun. Sebagai generasi digital yang mengandalkan penyimpanan dokumen, foto, video berupa file digital, Anda tentu tidak ingin kehilangan file-file tersebut. Gantilah harddisk Anda secara berkala, setidaknya sambil menunggu teknologi Solid State Disk (SSD) yang akan segera hadir dan MTBF-nya lebih lama.

Untuk mengganti harddisk, ada cara mudah yang membuat Anda tidak perlu menginstal ulang sistem operasi. Lakukan disk cloning, misalnya dengan bantuan software EaseUs DiskCopy. Con la disponibilità di LotusLive si completa così, con il supporto del cloud, un’offerta che ha un’articolazione come poche altre sia per la ricchezza di funzionalità nell’ambito della comunicazione e della collaborazione in tempo reale dentro e fuori l’azienda e del social network, sia per le modalità di delivery (su licenza, SaaS, hosted e appliance).

Se la comunità finanziaria aveva bisogno di qualche segnale di incoraggiamento, questa settimana ne sono arrivati ben tre.Dopo Intel e Google, anche Ibm chiude il suo quarter con utili superiori alle aspettative e, cosa che conta ancora di più, rivede al rialzo le stime sugli utili di fine anno.La società ha registrato un fatturato di 23,3 miliardi di dollari, in calo del 13% rispetto al pari periodo dell’anno precedente, ma per 3,1 miliardi, pari a 2,32 dollari per azione, in buon rialzo rispetto ai 2,8 miliardi del pari periodo del precedente esercizio, pari a 1,97 dollari per azione.

E proprio in considerazione del percorso intrapres, dei risultati ottenuti e delle previsioni di medio termine, la società ha annunciato una revisione delle previsioni di fine anno, che ora si attesano a 9,70 dollari per azione, contro i 9,2 precedentemente annunciati.Non solo.

Per il 2010, la società mantiene il proprio obiettivo di raggiungere utili compresi tra i 10 e gli 11 dollari per azione.

Qualche analista, tuttavia, storce il naso e sottolinea come i risultati annunciati siano in realtà più figli di un miglioramento dei margini che di un miglioramento nelle vendite.Resta tuttavia il fatto che la società, spostando il proprio focus dall’hardware ai servizi in outsourcing e al software chiude un trimestrale con performance migliori rispetto a quelle di altri player del comparto tecnologico.

Iedereen kent de term smartass wel. Of herkent de persoon in bovenstaand voorbeeld. Dat er binnen een organisatie ook vaak de term ‘Smart’ valt, is echter wat minder bekend. In dit geval wordt niet die irritante collega van twee bureau’s verderop bedoeld, maar een manier om doelstellingen helder en concreet te krijgen.

Doelstellingen worden vaak te onduidelijk en nietszeggend opgesteld. ‘Volgend jaar willen we nog meer verdienen’ kennen we allemaal wel. Zaak is dus dat je duidelijker bent, en veel concreter. Hier komt SMART om de hoek kijken:

* Specifiek
* Meetbaar
* Acceptabel
* Realistisch
* Tijdgebonden

Een SMART-doelstelling is richtinggevend: het geeft aan wat je wilt bereiken en stuurt het gedrag van je medewerkers en van jezelf. Bovendien wordt aangegeven welke resultaten wanneer moeten worden bereikt. Door een doelstelling SMART te formuleren is de kans groter dat er in de praktijk iets van terecht komt.

Specifiek
Omschrijf het doel duidelijk en concreet. Het moet een waarneembare actie, gedrag of resultaat beschrijven waaraan een getal, bedrag, percentage of ander kwantitatief gegeven verbonden is. Naarmate de doelstelling preciezer geformuleerd is, wordt het makkelijker er invulling aan te geven.

Meetbaar
Meetbaar wil zeggen dat op een andere manier vastgesteld kan worden in welke mate de doelen bereikt zijn. Ieder doel is (tot op zekere hoogte) meetbaar te maken. Er moet wel moeite voor gedaan worden om zowel een goede norm als een zo objectief mogelijke meetmethode te vinden, die door de meeste betrokkenen geaccepteerd worden; bij gebrek aan beter of omdat het de best denkbare is.

Voorbeeld van een specifiek en meetbaar doel in een zorginstelling: Over twee jaar zal minimaal 10% van het behandelaanbod voor mensen met pleinangst geboden worden in de vorm van internettherapie.

Acceptabel
Is er draagvlak voor wat we doen? Is het in overeenstemming met het beleid en de doelstellingen van de organisatie? Zijn de betrokkenen bereid zich te verbinden aan de doelstelling?

Als je een SMART-doel voor jezelf stelt, dan is het voldoende dat je het zelf accepteert. Maar wanneer je als leidinggevende een doel voor een groep mensen stelt, dan is het belangrijk dat er draagvlak voor is. De medewerkers moeten het willen, anders wordt het doel niet gehaald of blijft de verandering niet staande.

Realistisch
Is het uberhaupt haalbaar wat we hebben bedacht? Oftewel, is het een realistisch doel? Te makkelijke doelstellingen zijn niet interessant, en mensen worden niet uitgedaagd. Het beste is doelen te stellen die net boven het niveau van de persoon of de organisatie liggen en die ongeveer 50% kans van slagen hebben. Als mensen het gevoel hebben dat ze iets extra’s moeten doen om het doel te realiseren dan voelen ze zich trots en dat geeft energie voor nieuwe doelen. Een SMART-doel moet gezien worden als een project, niet als een taak. Durf een uitdaging aan te gaan!

Tijdsgebonden
Er wordt een bepaalde tijd afgesproken om de doelstelling te bereiken, maar ook wanneer er wordt begonnen met de weg naar het bereiken van de doelstelling. Uiteraard komt het bij lange projecten niet op een dag of een week, maar ook dan is het verstandig te zorgen dat er een limiet is, al is het maar om te voorkomen dat mensen het voor zich uit gaan schuiven, met de gedachte ‘dat komt wel’

Dit waren de vijf punten van het SMART principe. Is dit dan heilig? Absoluut niet, zoals aan elke medaille een keerzijde zit, heeft de SMART ook zijn haken en ogen. Moet een doel altijd acceptabel of realistisch zijn? Is dat doel niet gehaald, is het geheel dan voor niets geweest? Lijkt me niet. Je leert overal van, ook van falen. Misschien zelfs juíst van falen..
