BREAKING NEWS-This just in…a North Charleston pastor has been arrested on drug charges in North Carolina.

The media is ablaze with the stunning reports that pious Bishop Brian Moore, has been arrested trying to hook up some drugs.

And what particular devil- narcotic was the trusted Bishop trying to score, you ask…well, the heinous narcotic threat that we are destroying this mans good name over is …hold your breath…weed.

Here is a quote from local news service (WCSC) – A Low country pastor is now facing drug charges in North Carolina.

47-year-old Brian Moore was arrested for felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia near Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday.

Moore is a pastor at the Life Center Cathedral Church in North Charleston.

He also works for several other churches in North and South Carolina.

According to the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina Sheriff’s Office web site Moore posted $3,250 in bond for three total charges.

I am shocked by the esteemed trusted Bishops activities here…but, like Chris Rock said,… I understand.

Not my business…but I understand….Problem here is,is that this behavior probably does not jibe with what you are preaching, currently,…and may go against the doctrine of your church organization that you represent, so you would have to understand the reaction from the public.

Some of my best friends in the world our my boys,  Smokey and Java they are with me whether I am rich or poor, happy, sad, healthy or sick.  I have done a lot to protect and keep them healthy as both of the boys are indoor cats, never to they go outside except to the Vet.  Now I learn that my boys can catch the  H1N1 virus from humans. My boys are not paranoid, they will not bathe themselves with disinfected soap or where a mask. Sick or healthy they will be in my face wanting and giving love, yet that unconditional they give may make them sick or kill them at worst.

My worst thought are that people will overreact and send cats my the thousands to the animal shelters, I sure hope not. I am not sure what can be done to protect the boys, as neither one can stand being separated from us.  We have tried to lock them out of the bedroom, but the noise and scratching outside the door either makes it impossible to sleep or  requires the door to be repaired.

The always are risk when living with humans, the rewards are greater than isolation and not being a part of a community of love.  The boys I know have accepted us into their community and we shall never kick them out of ours.

Der Braugasthof Schmidt im Burgenland begann 1999 mit der Bierbrauerei, 2004 kam die Distillery dazu.

Mit 250.000 l Bier / Jahr gehört das Unternehmen zu den Top 5 der privaten Hausbrauereien in Österreich.

Das Wasser aus den 98 Tiefen Rabenbrunnen ist Namensursprung der Produkte. Der Single Malt Whisky wird 3 fach gebrannt und reift in den alten luftigen Kellergewölben des  historischen Zollhauses.

Bis 1914 stellte das  geschichtsträchtige Gebäude die Grenze zwischen Österreich und Ungarn dar.

Die Temperatur im Keller schwankt je nach Jahreszeit von 10-30 C was erheblich die Reifung des Produktes beeinflusst.

Der Schwerpunkt der OLD RAVEN Distillery liegt jedoch in der Auswahl der Fässer.

Now if any of you have seen the movie 500 Days Of Summer you would know of Zooey Deschanel. Well she sing’s in a two piece called She & Him with the musician M.Ward.

Below is a track off their one and only LP. It’s a cover of Smokey Robinson’s You Really Got A Hold On Me. Fantastic. Their album is on Spotify, if you like blue grass and folk, this is for you.

Secret telling time! I’ve got a good one: I’m… terribleatsmokeyeyes.

Granted, I did just recently start experimenting. I was, and for the most part remain, an eyeliner-and-mascara kinda gal. If I do wear eyeshadow, it’s usually just one shade. But after seeing so many awesome looks out there, in tutorials and on people I know, I decided it was time to give it a serious shot.

With the overwhelming amount of shadows out there, I had a hard time getting started. I didn’t know what colors would look good together, or whether matte could be paired with shimmery. Thankfully, it didn’t take me long to discover the fabulosity that are shadow palettes. The easiest to use so far was Neutrogena’s Nourishing Eye Quad in Moonlit Violet.

Okay, so why I chose my frizziest day of the year to take these pictures and didn’t even bother to try and fix it is a mystery to me… it was late at night, my mind wasn’t working.

As you can see, it’s a very subtle smokey eye, but I don’t think I’m quite ready to attempt a dramatic look yet… I usually just end up looking like I have a black eye! ;P

What I love about the NNEQ: 1) How easy it is to figure out – the quad is labeled so you know exactly what goes where. 2) How the black shadow that goes in the outer corner is actually BLACK – on many other drugstore quads I bought, black (or dark brown/purple/blue/whatever) had very low color payoff, and I would have to apply about 5 layers before they actually looked dark. The black in this quad, however, you only need a tiny bit of, and it really goes on black. I only used a tiiiny bit for this look. 3) SPF FTW! The light purple shadow that goes on the lid has SPF 15, and while I wish the other shades all had SPF as well, I’ll take what I can get – especially when it comes to the ultra-sensitive eye area.

Oh, and did I mention they were $10? Not bad, huh?

NNEQs don’t have a huge variety of color options – there are two brown-based quads, one green-based, and of course one purple-based. However of the limited color selection they do have, all the colors look gorgeous and if they apply as well as this one they’re all worth a try!

I am a music lover. While I have not been especially blessed musically as far as talent goes- I have a huge passion for it. Lyrics are a part of a song that really make a big impact on me. I’ve had experiences where I cannot stand a song- until I’ve paid some attention to the lyrics- and then had my mind changed completely [for example the song Paralyzer by Finger Eleven.. the lyrics in question: "Well I’m not paralyzed/But, I seem to be struck by you/I want to make you move/Because you’re standing still/If your body matches/What your eyes can do/You’ll probably move right through/Me on my way to you"]

Don’t get me wrong, the way a song sounds is vitally important as well… songs are indeed a package deal. But for a comparative study, I’m just going to focus on lyrics. 

I am a huge Beatles fan, and a huge admirer of their song’s lyrics. So I have decided to take a look at some of the songs that topped the charts back in the year 1967, while they were consistently topping the charts, and compare those songs to the songs dwelling on the top of the charts today in an attempt to see if there is any difference in the quality of music that is ‘popular’ and being produced now. I’d like to add that I am in no way trying to say that there is no good music being released anymore (I’m quite fond of a few of these songs actually)- or that talent has somehow dwindled over the years. That was not the point of this comparison. However, I do think for the most part the Billboard 100 is not necessarily the best selection of music to showcase lyrical talent of today in general. 

Which brings me to my own personal agenda… The following are lyrics from a few of my favorite songs/bands who are making music today (I’m going to try to give a few genre selections, I might fail at this however). If you havent heard of them I highly suggest you give them a listen.

Ok. That is seriously all for now. I have sososo many more songs that keep popping up into my head that I would love to be able to list, but this blog is much too long already. I suppose at points in the near future I can post more blogs featuring more songs, but for now this is it. Because this is now so long I’m not really going to add much of an original commentary in regards to the comparison, take from it what you will. Hopefully at the very least, you found it interesting.
