Snoop Dogg – Malice N Wondeland megjelenik december 8-án!!

Today I was surfing the Interwebs when I got the impulse to PhotoShop something. What can I say, I find it relaxing. So I sent a Tweet out into the aether offering my services to a blogger in need of a new banner or something, and shortly thereafter got a ping back from one of Bora Zivkovic’s loyal followers. The Tweet was from Fran Langum of Blue Gal, informing me that her posse over at the Blue Gal blog were having a little PhotoShop competition with the amazing Gawker pictures of Katie Couric getting down on the dance floor.

Sold.

I immediately scoured the Web to find a more appropriate setting for dear Katie to execute those dance moves, and I found it in approximately five seconds. This may seem like a short time to make such an important decision, but I knew the instant that I saw those pictures EXACTLY what song she must have been listening to at the time. This is because, dear readers, I have performed moves similar to those, with the same look of determination on my face — a look that can only be inspired by:

The singer has told that initially directed only a few adult movies, but when he realized that he is successful, proposed himself to change something in that area of expertize.

Not a collab I would’ve ever thought of, but a dope one nonetheless.  Royce is obviously heavy with his pen game and Cee-Lo, well, I’d go so far as to say he’s one of hip-hop’s most under appreciated lyricists and spitters ever.  Not to mention versatile.  I do love his singing voice plenty, but much like Andre 3000, I think their singing stuff is dope, but I really want them to get back to some good ol’ spitting, if only for just one album.

Luckily for us, Goodie Mob seems to be reunited and working together again, meanwhile we’re still waiting on that Slaughterhouse/Aftermath deal to be confirmed.

El programa de Jimmy Fallon está metiéndole medio palo a todos los demas late shows en materia de presentaciones musicales. No sólo tienen de banda fija a The Roots, sino que consistentemente llevan artistas musicales muy buenos y ofrecen un sonido mucho mejor que otros programas (como por ejemplo SNL que siempre suena horrible).

Luego de haber tenido a los Pixies, Fallon ofrece una “reunión” muy interesante con los fundadores de Black Star, Talib Kweli y Mos Def, junto a las hotties Amber Coffman y Haley Dekle de Dirty Projectors y por supuesto, The Roots. Un lujo ver a tanto ídolo.

Otra leyenda del hip hop es Snoop Dogg, que luego de 2 décadas con su flow pausado y cool, sigue sacando discos y secándose el pelo (aunque estamos claros que sus mejores días y sus mejores rimas ya pasaron). Su más reciente trabajo se llama Malice N Wonderland (puedo jurar que Sasha Grey esta haciendo una versión porno de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas con ese mismo nombre), y este es el video de su primer sencillo, titulado “I Wanna Rock”
