Greetings everyone!

It’s that time of year again – the time for putting up decorations, singing carols, fighting for a playoff spot, gaining a few pounds, and the time when everyone constantly clicks on the launcher trying to gain access to the newest EverQuest expansion! For some of you, the wait is now over! …and for people like me, the weight is now starting!

With the Seeds of Destruction expansion, we gave you a sneak peek at a few zones.  For the Underfoot “Early Access” launch, we wanted to give veteran players a little something extra for their dedication and loyalty to EverQuest.   That’s where the concept of the Road to Underfoot came to life.

The Road to Underfoot kicked off with the Giants, Giants, Giants event. In this event, players fought against some of the largest foes across the gaming world.  Next, the players took on the form of some of their favorite monsters and battled against Ancient Heroes like Vox and Nagafen.  Finally, the Road to Underfoot ended with the Breaking of the Seal.  Cliknar forces broke through the Wall of Living Stone within the Hole on Norrath and armies of flooded out from the realm of Underfoot putting Norrath in danger.  Only brave adventurers can help save Norrath in time.

Though Underfoot will officially launch on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, everyone who completed the three Road to Underfoot events and pre-order and purchased the Underfoot expansion gained access to explore the Underfoot a week before everyone else.  The “Early Access” launch on December 8, 2009 includes the full expansion.

Next week on December 15^th, we’ll see the official launch of Underfoot which allows access to everyone else who purchases the expansion.

In this year of EverQuest’s 10^th Anniversary, we’ve seen the community rally together and show how much they support the game we all love.  The EQ team would like to thank everyone for helping to keep EverQuest going strong.  We’re committed to the game that started it all and to the passionate people that play them. We have a lot planned for the game over the coming year and hope to see everyone continue to be part of EverQuest’s history.

I wish you all a healthy, happy and prosperous holiday season and a plethora of Underfoot content! Last one in is a rotten egg!

Alright, I said I would upload this a while ago but I never did. Well, I just got home about ten minutes and before I fall asleep I figure I’ll finally post it. Admittedly, my opinion is different than it was before. Nevertheless, I still think this game is old and out dated. Someone should kindly put it out of it’s misery, clearly it is in a lot of pain.

P.S.: Notice how much more alert I sound in this video incomparson with the Torchlight one. SEE, I can be active and happy too. I’m looking at you Eric and all your criticisms… no literally, I’m actually looking at you right now because I’m in your house. HA HA!

       When I consider the many times I narrowly escaped from the enemy, I must have been crazy to have volunteered. I lived and worked surrounded by the Germans, and had many close calls, so I had taken many chances, as if I was playing a game!  Otherwise, who knows, things might have turned out differently.

       Because of my involvement in the Cretan resistance and recommendations by the British SOE, I was chosen by the OSS, schooled and trained as a spy in Cairo.  They taught me how to assimilate with others in a strange surrounding, but also learned the Gestapo’s methods of interrogation and if needed, to take my own life with a cyanide capsule.  I played the game so well disguised as a Salonica businessman, serenading the neighborhood girls with my accordion, that no one ever suspected that this young man was really a corporal in the US Army and a spy in the OSS. 

       When I sent telegrams regarding troopships or convoys, I would not see their destruction and so it was not personal. Yet there are times I regret sending the telegram for our planes to bomb the Salonica train station, killing over 2,500 German soldiers, 450 Greek civilians, and the 6 American pilots captured and who knows how many airmen killed, which I personally witnessed.  But I cannot help but think how those German soldiers, readying to depart from Greece, might have killed many more thousands of our American soldiers in Italy or France, and for this, I am grateful.

SOE’s own Mike Pavlovich has created a ZBrush 3.5 training video for Eat 3D.  The video titled: ZBrush 3.5 – A Comprehensive Introduction covers basic concepts in detail, new features in this version of the software, as well as discussion of some advanced solutions and techniques. Great job on the excellent video Mike!

I often try to keep people informed of various sales for MMOs they may be on the edge of purchasing, as I did with Direct 2 Drive’s small selection of MMOs during their 5th year anniversary sale (You will remember Age of Conan, Planetside, and Eve Online were five dollars for approximately a week).

Star Wars Galaxies is on sale for $10 on Steam this week, and includes every expansion pack for the game: Empire Divided, Jump to Lightspeed, Rage of the Wookies, and Trials of Obiwan. Even so, you will receive the Star Wars Trading Card Game, a digital trading card game, some of which can be redeemed in game for free items. Players in good standing will also receive a free booster pack each month with their Star Wars Galaxies subscription.

The School of Evangelism has been traveling quite a bit this fall. A few weeks ago we went to Blackpool in England, and got to lead all the Dtses there into evangelism. We saw people saved and healed, and experienced that it’s both FUN and challenging to be on the mission with God.

This last weeks we have been in Skien, and we have lots of great lectures, and this week is about world view.

Part of the school program is to be involved in activities in the city, to make an impact on our community and to establish relationships. Some of the people we have gotten to know has started to hang out with us a lot, and this week they even came to a Christian meeting that we had at the YWAM base. They are not Christians, and had never seen anything like this before. They actually thought it was really weird. But later that evening they asked, “Do any of you guys ever argue or fight?” They wore so touched and amazed at how we love and respect each other.

This teaches us exactly what Jesus prayed; “I pray that they will love each other so they can see that YOU have sent Me”.

Lets work to have our relationships and fellowships reflect Gods character!

Asi que los fans ya pueden estar contentos.

Y los dueños de un XBOX360 no se preocupen que recibiran via XBOX LIVE 2 nuevas actualizaciones a lo largo del año. Todos contentos.

Hace tanto tiempo que no jugado el TCG que me gusto tanto . . . MAGIC THE GATHERING . . . que hasta me pongo melancolico. En fin, esta nota es para mostrarles a los fans y los nuevos iniciados que SOE lanzara para PC y PS3 este nuevo titulo llamado “Magic: The Gathering Tactics”.

Titulo que segun el blog oficial te llevara por la historia de MAGIC y sus tarjetas retro hasta las expansiones actuales, para que armes tus decks y combatas de forma local y online. Considero que este es un gran paso y ya espero la salida de este juego. Les mantendre informados.

Eelmisel talvel tabas mind soov ise teha, vaatasin D&G 2009 suvekleite  ja mõtlesin, et mis see siis ära pole, kooliajal sai ju kootud ka, ostsin lõnga, vardad, leidsin vogueknitting.com-ist särkkleidi lõike/mustri ja elu tundus hernes. Mees küll osatas, et ehk võiks enne salli valmis teha… mõttetu… NOh, kudusin ja kudusin, kolm x harutasin ülaosa üles, siis oli suvi pmtlst käes ja ise tegemine ei tundunud üldse enam lahe.

NÜÜD siis, harutasin oma kleidimoodimonstrumi üles ja hakkasin salli kuduma(kui õnnelikult ja lõputunanäivalt mees jahvatas:”Ma ju ütlesin..blablabla…”). Sügiskollektsioonide kootud ja heegeldatud sallid, tuubsallid(Burberry Prorsum), säärised (Chanel) ja tuleva kevade narmastega õlasallid (D&G), makramee- ja heegeldatud kotid, siidimaalis kangad (Blumarine), need kõik on minus veelgi suurendanud kihku ikkagi ise hakkama saada. Jõuludeks saavad mu lähedased sallid –  praktiline, isiklik, soe. Kui sallidega juba “käpp” olen, võtan ehk kotiheegeldamise ka ette, kes teab….

He was a kind gentleman and always eager to help people starting out in their careers.  He will be missed.

SOE’s fascination with card games finally comes full circle. After years of creating collectible card games based on their popular MMO properties like EverQuest and Star Wars Galaxies, now the company’s Denver studio is creating a strategy game based on the inspirations for those games – Magic: The Gathering.

Magic: The Gathering – Tactics draws on the Planeswalkers lore of Magic, putting players in control of 3D figures and spells from the popular CCG. The game will include both single player scenarios and online PVP multiplayer. As with any Magic-related product, fans can expect regular content expansions and strong tournament support, along with achievements and rankings.

“By collaborating with Wizards of the Coast, we’re able to combine the strengths of both companies to develop an innovative, online, 3D game based on an extremely popular IP,” said John Smedley, president, Sony Online Entertainment. “We’re going to be taking the Magic: The Gathering Multiverse places players have never seen.”

Since Magic is also available on the Xbox360 platform too but still I’m glad to see Magic: The Gathering is heading to the Playstation 3 platform.

Look for Magic: The Gathering – Tactics to hit the PC in early 2010, with a PlayStation 3 release coming soon after
