De ce sfârşit de sezon? Pentru că a venit vara,…. am ieşit din hibernare, deci nu mă mai plictisesc dupămasa, pardon dupamsa. Deci în viitoarele 2 luni articole noi vor apărea doar foarte rar şi doar dacă se întâmplă ceva spectaculos în aria mea de existenţă.

Un anunţ important în încheierea sezonului: am luat în sfârşit  licenţa.

Şi încă unul : m-a alergat prin Cluj bodyguardul din Speed. DA DA Speed este singurul (de care ştiu până acuma) fast-food care are bodyguard. Şi nici nu mă mir că îl are, adică locul arată a loc unde îţi vine să mergi să faci scandal. Şi cum să nu faci!? adică dacă eşti pletos  şi mergi prin cuibul ăla infestat de arabi, (nu fac discriminare, dar şi ei folosesc apelativul de “pletos” dacă ai plete deci sper să nu greşesc cu nimic dacă la arabi le zic arabi ). Deci dacă nu eşti de-al lor nu se prea grăbesc să te servească. În cazul ăsta servirea “speed” se face pentru cei care comandă după tine. Şi dacă cumva după 15 minute de aşteptat simţi ca îţi vine să le explici originea existenţei lor într-un limbaj mai colocvial, dar totuşi nu o faci şi preferi să pleci undeva unde chiar există oameni care se poartă normal, să nu crezi că scapi cu una cu două. Dacă ai comandat trebuie să şi plateşti, deşi nu ai fost servit. Dacă nu plateşti, te rezolvă unu’ chel şi plin de muşchi. Oare să fie tâlhărie? Oare “pletosul” ar trebui să cheme poliţia?

I hate the process of traveling, but I love going places. Go figure. Due to my disdain for the process of travel, especially air travel, I needed to piece together what I would consider a calming influence for it. An espresso and a good mix of music later and I’m usually alright. The return trip home from Madison, Wisconsin was a balance of the serenity I sought and the aggression I feel when navigating throngs of people, security, scheduling, luggage retrieval and the sight of home coming into view from the aircraft window. I grew up on thrash and speed metal so there’s always a bit of a soft spot for it and although many of these bands are derivative of one another they all bring something to the table that makes them stir my heart and keep me sane. It was a great trip and this was what I considered a great way to end it.

Hey there everyone. No time to chat today. Just want to post some music. All of the same genre. Soilwork is ridiculously amazing. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly did.

EDIT: Here it is, Thursday. Here’s the other song that I wanted to UpLoAd, but it was a .m4a file, which the embedded music player can’t read. So, here it is. Shadows Fall is also ridiculously amazing. Vocals aren’t as good though.

I have been playing with CIPHER SYSTEM since I was 16 years old, pretty much half my life(!). I had a small break on a year or so from the band when NIGHTRAGE took to much of my time with touring and recording. But as I have been the heart and JOHAN the soul of this band for most of the time, my heart always start to pound a little bit harder when I speak to JOHAN about new riffs and ideas we have with the band. We have been working on our upcoming album for almost a year now and we where just about to start the recording of it. Then, BANG we lost our singer. I am right now trying to get a new singer to replace Andreas but it is hard to find someone great that doesn’t already have 1 or 2 bands that he want to focus on.

Yesterday Johan called me and showed me a recording he had done with some riffs we have had for years. Some of our riffs just doesn’t end up in songs even though they are among our favourite riffs. VERY STRANGE!!

We are going to be included on a compilation this summer, don’t miss it!

Onsdagens hårda metallåt står en grymt bra svensk grupp för. De kommer från Skåne och staden Helsingborg. De spelar melodisk death metal. Bandet började spela tillsammans 1995 under namnet Inferior Breed men ändrade om det till det namnet de använder idag redan 1996. Deras debutalbum “Steelbath Suicide” gavs ut 1998. Låten som jag ska spela upp här idag heter detsamma som deras sjätte fullängdsalbum. Här kommer den och jag tycker fortfarande att det är den bästa låten denna grupp har gjort.
