CAREER OR COMPANY DESCRIPTION: My main focus is fashion photography, both still pictures and fashion film. I also do portraits and music videos.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST SUCCESS?
I guess getting established in such a tough industry is over all my biggest success.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST FAILURE?
That I`m not pushy enough. I take a no for an answer, which you really shouldn’t in this business!

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE YOU HAVE OVERCOME?
Getting attention abroad.You basically have to compete with every photographer out there, and that`s a whole lot of photographers!

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE TO ANYONE STARTING OUT?
IN PHOTOGRAPHY -
My best advice is to work hard and be dedicated, and true to your style. Be humble with people giving you advice and feedback on your work, but be critical OF which advice you follow. Don`t lose yourself in others opinions!

A sight for sore eyes. Frøydis Labowsky.

We first met ages ago (well it seems like ages ,anyway!!) in 2006 (or was it late 05?) at Oslo Fashion Week, where we did a show for Mette Møller together. We continued meeting at fashion week, and castings, and randomly here and there, until I casted her for Norways Next Top Model in 2008. And then I was her nanny for 8 weeks. Nice We shared a room in New York, after she pulled out of the competition, and we had shitloads of fun!!! ( sneaking away from the other girls to eat and get drunk, the zoo, threading, hahaha..) So I’ve known her for a couple of years, and last february she even became my roomie for 2 months. YAYS UND YARR She wasn’t here a whole lot, but when she was, it was niiice She also got me the coolest t-shirt EVVAH! –I look slightly less mental than the lovely young girl on the photo. Slightly.

I’ve had the pleasure of making her up, dressing her and fiddlin’ with her hair on many occasions, with different photographers. Here are some of the results
