If I were you, Wi-Fi will not be my priority. Of course, having them will make our life a lot more easier but considering the bills, if I were you, I might want to reconsider. As for the 2nd camera, which idiot created it at the back right? I mean, yeah just like what you said, what the heck >_<

For the camera, G900 wins; I mean you’re not into photo blogging right? >_< Then for media player, there should be no big problem since Sony handphone is widely known for its best sound and vids (mind the W series since it is a Walkman so they do have their own player but for me, the normal player is good enough).  For the entertainment part they were equally specified; not a problem then.

And I think I’ll make my stop now because if we look at all of them as a whole, G900 wins man (that is after considering the stupid-at-the-back-2nd-camera, of course, and you said you wanted the Wi-Fi thing right?) (trust me honey, I do read all the spec line by line) ^_^

If I’m going to choose for my very own phone, I’ll go for G900 >_<

Jag kommer ihåg första gången jag läste om Twitter i DN. “Hur ska detta kunna gynna mig?“, minns jag att tänkte, men registrerade av nyfikenhet ett konto. Jag tror jag “använde” det två gånger. Mitt problem var att jag inte hade en aning om hur det skulle kunna inkorporeras i mitt arslande, och jag hade ungefär samma uppfattning till för ett par-tre dagar sedan. Då läste jag nämligen Mymlans inlägg om mikrobloggar för dummies, som förklarade allt och fångade mitt intresse för att komma igång.

Numera finns jag på http://bippo.bloggy.se och även på Jaiku. Bloggy är en svensk mikrobloggstjänst och jag rekommenderar den som är nyfiken att börja med att registrera sig där. Jaiku kräver fortfarande en inbjudan från en annan medlem (töntigt!) men den som läser det här och är intresserad- hojta till!

Min upplevelse av mikrobloggande är att det är som ett sofistikerat MSN, fast utan stressen. Jag har ju aldrig gillat MSN, men med mikrobloggandet är det helt annorlunda. Det är natuligtvis inte, eller inte nödvändigvis,  en lika privat arena som MSN- utan jag skulle väl säga att det är en som en kombination av en chat och ett forum. Som med så mycket annat så blir det vad man gör det till, men jag måste säga att jag hittills är mycket positivt inställd.

Och så till hacket- min största tekniska bedrift på länge. För att förklara vidden av den börjar jag med att visa upp bilder på mina senaste mobiltelefoner:

Just a quick update guys, I do not have dengue. Now that is a relief. I only have a terrible viral infection.

I will be ushering 2009 in a way only I know how, in bed. Yeah, I am still mightily fatigued and tired after the whole dengue-not-dengue merry-go-round and the actual virus, so I am very much keeping a low profile till I fully recover.

Here is the belated review of my Sony Ericsson G900 mobile since if I don’t do it by midnight, this model will be last year’s model, and nope, it is still very much cutting edge.

One thing you have to know bout this phone before you get it is that it has a 2.4 inch touchscreen and keypads as well, meaning that you can either choose to use the touchscreen full-time as a stylus is bundled in or switch between the two modes as you cannot utilize this phone with just the keypad because the top left and top right keys are dedicated shortcut keys for the Notes and Messaging applications.

While the user-friendliness of the phone drops a little with the rather wasteful overall implementation of the touchscreen, the phone is packed with a wide array of features, including WiFi and a 5.0 mega-pixel camera.

The keypads are rather small, so it is a big no-no for people with huge fingers, but that said, they are very intuitive and nice to type on.

The auto-focus camera with image stabilizer, despite criticisms from certain quarters regarding the picture quality, is pretty decent considering it is not touted as a Cybershot phone. The only drawback is the mediocre camera software which is a pain as there is a huge issue with the portrait and landscape mode.

The call quality is impressive though reception can be pretty weak at times. The battery, depending on the use of the music player or WiFi or other features, generally lasts from two days to less than three days.

The G900 is a smartphone in a feature phone’s exterior. While its sluggish interface might annoy some users, the fact that it is one of the only phones of its kind in the market as a touchscreen and keypad hybrid makes it a very delightful proposition. The phone is also slim and light, and for me, the brown body is simply gorgeous.

Oh…. Nokia 3200-ku

Hehehe..

Yah… akhirnya, aku selingkuh juga Setelah 5 tahun bercinta dengan Nokia 3200-ku, aku pun mau tidak mau harus mengakui bahwa yayangku itu sudah out of date, ga jaman, jadul, dll deh. Boro-boro ada 3G ato Wi-Fi, bluetooth aja ga ada, ga bisa MP3, kamera.. ga jelas berapa MP, memori cuma bisa buat nyimpen foto ga sampe 20.

So… setelah bergumul dan bersemedi (di WC), aku pun memutuskan untuk ganti dengan si red hot G900 ini.

Harganya lumayan bikin pala puyeng.. tp lumayan lengkap. Ada kamera 5 MP, 3G, blutooth, Wi-Fi, blackberry package (pdh ga tau apaaaa itu), dan 1 lagi yg bikin aku kesengsem… touch screen *GA PENTIIIINNNGGG!!*

Benernya bisa dibilang ini percobaan sih. HP pertamaku sih Ericsson, setelah itu aku berpindah hati ke Nokia, dari Nokia Pisang, 5110, terus… yg sejuta umat itu (lupa typenya), terakhir 3200. Nah, sekarang aku pengen nyoba lagi si Ericsson yg sudah jd soulmatenya Sony (Waakkkss… jangan2 Sony & Ericsson itu hom… ). Lagipula… E71 MAHAL-nya naudzubilla…!! *this is the real reason hahaha*

Ya.. gitu deh. Sekarang lg honeymoon dulu sama mr. Red Hot, misuh2 pas bingung cari karakter krn ga kebiasaan sama keypadnya, jutek gara2 lemot, utek2 dalemannya buat cari settingan WI-FI LAN, hobi jepret2 gara2 mau nyobain Carl Zein 5MP-nya, terus.. lg hobi maen sudoku  huahahaha ndeso yaa

Sony Ericsson G900

Sorry for not updating lately, the past week has been spent working on the Taylor’s Open Day which started today. I did however take out a little bit of time to indulge since it was the holidays. Yen and I headed to Michelangelo’s at Sunway Pyramid for a tinge of Italian goodness.

After much deliberation, we ordered a twin pasta combo and a triple meat pizza. Scrumptious indeed. I have to admit that the pizza was one of the best I have tasted in my short and blessed life so far.

Seriously, if you are looking for some delicious and tasty Italian cuisine, go on down to Michelangelo’s, you won’t be disappointed.

In addition, we decided to go watch Bolt in 3D at Sunway as well since besides KLCC, it is the only shopping mall in Malaysia showing the movie in exclusive 3D.

They gave us this pair of hi-tech looking 3D glasses, and if we happen to lose it, we would be fined a cool RM150. Talk about a pair of expensive shades.

My girlfriend enjoyed the film more than me, but I have to say, Bolt, barring a couple of boring moments, is a worthwhile flick to catch, but not in 3D.

The Sony Ericsson mobile phones make a person crave for them just after a glance. They focus on the look of the handsets as much as they focus on the features. The bottom line is Sony Ericsson draws its customers with its unique design and innovative features. One of the charming innovations of Sony Ericsson is G900 which falls in the G-series. The G-series is already known for crating a stir in the mobile market.

The camera of this phone got the handsets selling like hot cakes. From autofocus to image stabilisation, the 5 MP camera has everything in its kitty. The resolution which this device offers is rare in any other camera centric phone. With a resolution of (2592 x 1944 pixels), you pictures will surely earn you laurels. It will feel like owning a photography kit. You can satisfy your appetite for some real photography with this device. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that it will induce life into your pictures.

The fully-fledged features of this phone transform it from an ordinary mobile phone to a smartphone. It has a trans-reflective touchscreen TFT, with nice colours. The width of the TFT is 2.4 inches. One of the very prominent advancement which the phone has is its visually improved user interface. Its predecessors had a dull screen and the icons were barely visible in sunlight.
This latest phone is Wi-Fi enabled with WLAN 802.11b/g. It also supports USB 2.0. Just connect your phone with your PC and exchange files between them in a matter of seconds however large they are. Operating this phone is a piece of cake. Even your grandma can start off the Bluetooth in the first go. The interface is extremely user friendly. It has easy to use standby panels. The media applications are quick and beautiful. For a smartphone a weight of 110 grams is quite normal. But our G900 stopped at measly 99 grams. It is amazingly slim and light weight; perfect to fit into the pockets of your tight fitting jeans. In fact these phones are targeted for everyday customers, who want a little extra something from at a low price. Powered by the Symbian Operating System, this phone is the fastest UIQ device so far. The Li-Ion 950 mAh (BST-33) battery gives a commendable back up. It lasts up to Up to 380 hours in a standby mode and gives a talk time of approximately 12 hours.
Unfortunately, this phone lacks some features that are considered indispensable in today’s high-end mobile phones. Every mobile phone from big brands comes with HSDPA. This technology helps averting problems related to connectivity. But our G900 missed out this feature. So the network reception strength falls short of expectation. This phone is not GPS- enabled. So, don’t expect stay connected when you go off shores. The Bluetooth transfer speed is not up to the mark. This phone has an internal memory of 160 MB and a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot. But, you won’t get a memory card for extra storage.

Even after these demerits, the Sony Ericsson G900 is a remarkable handset. There is no chance of flaw in its performance. The brand itself commits a commendable deliverance. It can never let down its customers. So, you can count upon the Sony Ericsson G900 for all your mobile phone needs.
