Pues nada, os presento mi nueva adquisición, un Sony Ericsson w910i comprado a través de eBay. ¿Qué os parece? Es un terminal libre pero con los logos y menús de movistar. Bueno, ya era hora de tener un terminal de esta casa.

Foi lançada ontem a campanha da Vodafone de promoção do Sony Ericsson W910i. Criada pela J. Walter Thompson, com a direcção criativa de João Oliveira e Jorge Barrote, a campanha “Perseguição” teve um investimento de 3,3 milhões de euros, e vai ser veiculada em televisão, imprensa, cinema, exterior e internet, até dia 11 de Junho.

Ya que me he visto sin curro, y sin móvil -era de la empresa- me he dicho “venga, mereces un regalito” y me he comprado un móvil nuevo: un Sony Ericsson W910i.

Como tambien necesitaba un cacharo Mp3 o Walkman, me he decidido por el Sony Ericsson W910i. Y la verdad es que estoy encantado con elaparato. Ya regale un sony ericsson Z610i a mi mujer que funciona muy bien asi que no tuve ningun problema en cambiar de marca – el móvil de la empresa era un Nokia.

El “Shake Control”, similar al que usa la Nintendo Wii, cambiando de cancion agitando el teléfono esta bien, pero tampoco es algo que utilizo muy a menudo, con las botones de control me basta. Lo que mas me gusta es el diseño, ademas tiene una capacidad que supera las 900 canciones gracias a la tarjeta de memoria externa (Memory Stick Micro) de 1Gb incluida que es ampliable hasta 4GB. La camera de 2M pixels no esta mal, pero no es su lado fuerte ya que se trata de un móvil “Walkman”. Me resulta especialmente difícil hacer retratos de la gente para añadir a la agenda de contactos, una función que me gusta ya que te aparece la foto de la persona que te llama, pero hacer que la gente sale un poco favorecida resulta bastante complicado con la camera incorporado.

Además el modelo viene con en mi opinión unos auriculares regulares, tuve unos mejores tambien de Sony en casa y se nota la diferencia.

El Sony Ericson W910i tambien admite ver pelis en Mp4 aunque todavia no lo he podido probar, la pantalla de 240×320 pixels (TFT de 262,144 colores) no deberia cansar demasiado para ver algun video cortito. Para ver fotos es estupendo. Además la pantalla se adapta a la posición del móvil, cuando pones el móvil en vertical, la pantalla sale normal, pero si lo pones en horizontal la pantalla cambia, como en las cameras de fotos y te muestra la pantalla panorámica. Lo que tambien me ha convencido es su tamaño, como puedes apreciar en las fotos, es realmente pequeño.

Por cierto no pude encontrar un estuche de Sony Ericsson para el tamaño de este modelo, todos eran demasiado grandes para mi gusto, pero al final encontré un estuche de Levi Strauss (vea en la sección “Accessories”) que le va muy bien – si, Levi Strauss de los vaqueros … lo encontré en la tienda de PhoneHouse en mi barrio.

Pantallas, dimensions y Shake Control aparte, por el momento lo estoy utilizando y disfrutando mucho como Walkman, y eso es para que lo compré !

Por cierto el modelo es compatible con Yahoo! Go para moviles para acceder a tu correo, subir fotos, descargar mapas, buscar respuestas, consultar información sobre la bolsa o acceder a las últimas noticias que he utilizado ya varios veces y que la verdad funciona muy bien.

It is a new cellphone from Sony Ericsson, the W910i. It is available in three colours:- Noble Black,Hearty Red and Havana Bronze. It is stunner in all colours but black one looks bit dull comparing other two.

It is a light weight phone and quite slim. It fits well in pocket. It`s glossy finish exterior makes it look elegant. It has got a large and bright screen which is visible in direct sunlight also. It is a slider phone and comes with dedicated call and end button which generally does not come with sony cellphones. Other than that there are two soft keys ,an application key which brings up the shortcut menu and the `C` key along with the large and shiny navigation pad that doubles up for music playback. It has a same shake control feature as on W580i. It is activated by pressing the walkman key and then shaking the phone, though the Walkman key seems small to me for comfort.

The slide mechanism works smoothly and the keypad under it has large and comfortable keypad with excellent tactile feedback. Being a walkman phone, audio quality is above par from both headphones as well as from speakers, Sony could easily be trusted for music no doubts about that. The W910i comes with a`Sence me’ feature that automatically sorts music by mood. To use this feature , songs must be transferred using the media manager software.

Another interesting feature is that the phone has `Motion Sensor’ and `Accelerometer’. The phone`s auto screen rotation feature and a marble game that you can play simply turning the phone left and right employ the motion sensor.

The phone is 3G capable and features a front VGA camera and a 2 mp camera at the back. Flash and autofocus is missing,sadly, .

Coming to phone usage, reception is top notch and user interface is fast. But if the music player is running in the back the speed suffers. Battery is decent.

If u need stylish phone with good music capabilities in a slim mode with tons of features , grab it.
