Hey … I’m Kerin … a 5 foot n a bit, happy, bubbly, 30 something ( or possibly 40 ? dammit ) , Adelaide based Multi National Award Winning Master Photographer. This is my blog, for rants, raves and mainly pretty pics … I used to have 3 blogs, a photography, a personal and a travel. Talk about overkill ! I have combined all three to keep it simple. For sharing and inspiring. I’m not a cookie cutter photog, I’m a story teller, I shoot honestly and photojournalistically and have been Pro for over 20 years. It’s ‘ma thing. My BIG BIG love. I capture weddings, families, pregnancies, births, newborns, babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, couples, old people and pets. I travel every year for my own self commisioned travel projects. I shoot loads of odds n sods just for me, just for fun as I am at one with my camera. Please enjoy and leave me lovely comments. Love and Light, Kerin xx

An autumn affair ... Kate and Simon

My last wedding for this season was Kate and Simon’s, set in the majestic Barossa Valley, against a backdrop of vines and autumn light. The theme was autumn and ” beer “, with the reception being a 5 course beer degustation. These are a selection of my favs, more to come much later in ther slideshow. As always, I was captivated and in the moment, honoured to photograph Kate and Simon’s start of their new life together …

One of my FAVOURITE things to do to unwind is to go Hiking. Just me, my hiking boots and nature. Sometimes I go with a friend, often I go alone. I love the space and the beauty. I don’t take my camera because I try to be at peace with just seeing, rather than shooting. I do find it a struggle, some days more than others because I see stunning things. As I carry my Iphone, occasionally I cannot help myself : ) !!!

I had the honour of photographing Yvonne and Matthew’s stunning Wedding at Kingsbrook Estate, Currency Creek, Fleurieu Penisula, South Australia. Mix a couple made for each other, a stunning setting, their children Josh and Molly, a fun bridal party and Yvonne’s horse Bandit who was perfectly well behaved … all a recipe for a beautiful day. My beach

This morning I went for the first beach walk in a few months. Work has been very intense and I have slipped back into an existence of sleep, eat and work. Very norty and bad for me. Anyway, now that things will slow down a little, I want to rediscover the beach, walking, my bike, swimming and hiking. I shot these at Semaphore Beach this morning. Brings me peace xx

Ee Wah + Jing Yan

Ee Wah and Jing got married in the beautiful Ayers House, Adelaide on the morning of Dec 2nd, 2012. It was a classically elegant affair, with lunch being held in Henry’s Brassiere. Ee Wah and Jing did a ” first look ” before the ceremony, which was more for their tradition and culture than the trendy version. They love old architecture so we popped over to the stunning old buildings on North Terrace which was only a stone’s throw away. It was a gorgeous day and I loved every minute xx

On December the 15th, Elly and Steve had a beautiful wedding ceremony in a garden just out of Strathalbyn. They then partied on at the Three Brothers in Arms pub at Macclesfield. Was a wonderful fun day with their big bridal party. High school sweethearts … bless xx
