Koocanusa Campsite StoreIn addition to the long-term camping sites that we offer, the following services are also available to you and other visitors to Lake Koocanusa:

  • Fully equipped campsite store open to everyone from 8am – 8pm.
  • Snack Bar open daily from 8am in the summer and serving hot and cold drinks, ice cream, hot dogs and nachos.
  • Public Washroom/Hot Showers (available to campers only)
  • Boat launch facility for only $10/launch.
  • Gas pump
  • Propane station
  • Huge sandy beach and amazing views. Okay, we didn’t provide this exactly but it sure is here!

And please note, that all of our long-term sites are filled this year and that we have no overnight camping available. ]]> <![CDATA[Random Blurbs About Sandra.]]> http://fumungio.wordpress.com/2011/04/29/random-blurbs-about-sandra/ Fri, 29 Apr 2011 17:01:37 +0000 Sandra Bellezza http://fumungio.wordpress.com/2011/04/29/random-blurbs-about-sandra/ - Some of my favorite types of house projects are renovations and remodeling.  I love to do both the design and the work, and I find it fascinating to see the bones of the house.  I’m totally self-taught, and I’ve helped six friends remodeling their entire home.  Planning, designing, gutting, and purchasing the equipment, hardware, and furniture.  Well…they bought it all, I told them what they needed.

- When I plan on moving to my new place in New Hampshire, I already have my bedroom planned out.  I spend all my down time in my bedroom, and all my “away time” from the world.  So I would like that place to be as comfortable as possible.

- One thing about owning a home I’m very anal about, are my gutters.  I need them clean all the time.  A few nights ago during what felt like a monsoon of a rainstorm, I was out cleaning my gutters.  Middle of the night, they were full, I was on a ladder cleaning.

- The only type of house work I do not do around my home is electrical work.  I’ve been buzzed several times in the past, and that really hurts.

- When I’m off of work on Saturdays during the summer months I love taking bike rides through South County.  Seeing Narragansett, Newport, Warren, East and West Greenwich.

- I’ve realized that between my friends and I we will never agree on movies.  I sit through my friends really bad movies.  I willl never agree that they are good movies, but I have to sit there and grin and bear it.
