Numarul 13 nu a fost un numar cu ghinion pentru cei doi realizatori a binei cunoscute serie “South Park”.

Cartman, Kyle, Stan si Kenny au incheiat de curand si cel de-al 13-le sezon “South Park”.

Printre episoadele importante ale acestui sezon se numara episodul “Dead Celebrities”, dedicat in mare parte lui Michael Jackson, episodul “Fishsticks” – o satira binemeritata plasata lui Kanye West, si evident episodul “The Ring”, o parodie adresata canalului Disney, dar cu precadere fratilor Jonas.

Asa cum am fost obisnuiti, Kenny ne-a parasit in aproape toate episoadele, dar s-a intors printre noi de fiecare data. Cartman a lasat deoparte visul de a castiga 10 milioane de dolari, dar si-a dedicat viata dreptatii (ep. The Coon), iar Butters s-a transformat in pimp. (ep. Butters Bottom Bitch).

De asemenea Cartman s-a apucat de cantat, interpretand piesa “Poker Face” a lui Lady GaGa in episodul “Whale Whores”.

For 13 seasons Trey Parker and Matt Stone have made a living off the hilarious adventures of four small town Colorado boys and making fun of celebrities.  Diddy got hit. Metallica got hit. It was only a matter of time before they got Kanye.

And boy did they get him. They got him from all angles: his ego, his attire, the auto-tune, everything.

Luckily, Kanye took it all in stride, issuing this response on his blog.

In case you didn’t catch the whole song during the episode, South Park Studios released the full, uncensored version of Stone and Parker’s “Heartless” remix, “Gay Fish.”

I doubt I’m the first person to make this observation, but I thought I would put it up because it says a lot about what kids call entertainment these days. First, I give you an excerpt from the show South Park, in an episode called “Elementary School Musical.” The episode featured mainly a parody of the high school musical series, except the main kid sang and danced and secretly wanted to play basketball. By the end of the show, the four main kids have finally gotten into the fad right as everyone is getting over it, and they perform this dance number.

Earlier today, I was watching Nickelodeon (in my defense I was watching Spongebob, which is one of the best cartoons on TV), and there was a short music video for the new Nickelodeon original movie Spectacular! (yes, there is an exclamation point. Apparently the marketing team thought the audience wouldn’t understand how spectacular the movie was without it). This is the video.

Isn’t this sad? Completely non-ironic, comes out a couple months after the South Park episode come out. Life imitating art. These people are completely unaware that an episode came out a few months ago that skewers the very family friendly fare they’re involved with, and that they already wrote this song. The South Park people should sue. This is what passes for “family” these days, or “kids.” Since when did either of these become synonyms with stupid?

Bueno mis geeks, si entraron a South Park Studios se darán cuenta que hay un creador de avatars, lo que lo diferencía de los otros es que ahora sí es uno oficial (aunque tenga patrocinadores), además de facilitar su creación para imagen de blog (como se muestra al inicio de esta entrada), foto e inclusive wallpaper.

Más o menos me veo yo igual que el personaje que se ve al incio, por si hay alguna interesada deje comentario, luego me contacto con ella

Creando desde South Park Studios

A série de desenhos animados South Park, voltada ao público adulto, foi disponibilizada completa para internautas, segundo a agência Magnet. Os desenhos estão sendo oferecidos via streaming, isto é, transmissão que pode ser feita apenas pelo navegador, e não há qualquer opção de download. Ainda assim, é um bom espaço para fãs que querem estar em dia com a temporada em exibição no exterior.  Atualmente são doze temporadas, com episódios completos e mais de 3 mil clipes em vídeo que podem ser inseridos em outros websites. Para o site Webware, a novidade pode indicar uma nova tendência, já que até o momento diversos estúdios disponibilizam apenas os últimos episódios de suas séries. 

O catálogo completo do South Park, em inglês, está sendo oferecido pelo South Park Digital Studios, uma parceria entre os autores Matt Stone e Trey Parker e o canal americano Comedy Central, que detém os direitos de exibição da série no exterior, noticiou o site NewTeevee. Interessados podem acessar o site em southparkstudios.com.

The Comedy Central channel will be posting all 12 seasons of South Park episodes online for free. This generous move was made by joint venture South Park Studios with show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker giving it the nod. These episodes will be ad-supported, so let’s just hope its not the same ad running over and over again like we have to put up with to watch ABC’s ‘Lost’ series online.

Er is natuurlijk een manier voor het bekijken van al je favoriete South Park afleveringen op een illegale manier. Maar nu is er South Park studios die alle afleveringen aanbiedt in hoge kwaliteit. Volkomen legaal en volgens alle copyright regels. Wie kan het nou niet missen. De scherpzinnige Stan, de morele Kyle, de mompelende Kenny en de discriminerende iritante eigenwijze stoute Eric. Overigens is seizoen 12 in volle gang. Ik zeg… Bekijk het maar.

So I get a twitter post (tweet) from Dr. Tiki of Tikibar TV saying that South Park can be viewed online. All the episodes are there from 12 seasons in its entirety. Cool. I even heard it on News 1130 on the drive home. Awesome.

So here I am at home, very excited about this. I used to watch South Park with friends religiously. Unfortunately, in the last 5 or 6 years, I haven’t watched very many episodes. Mainly because it’s hard for me to watch TV shows on a regular basis to their schedule.

So, I go to http://www.southparkstudios.com and start to look into it. I see that there is a full episode guide. Select the season and then select the episode. Chose to watch the episode or read the guide. Of course, I choose watch episode. Bang! “Sorry Canada. Full episodes coming soon.” Man, oh man, why do we always get the short end of the free TV stick.

Lets hope that it’s actually sooner and not later.
