We know you’ve probably all been on tenterhooks all weekend after our cryptic announcement on Friday, and our mystery deadline extension. I’m sure you’ve been able to think of nothing else. It’s probably kept you awake at night, hasn’t it?

What, oh what could it be?!

Well, wonder no longer, film fans!

Over the past week or so, the USW team has been talking to the nice people from the Eden Project, and together we’ve come up with what we think is a really exciting opportunity for one lucky film-maker.

The Eden Project will be picking one film from our final shortlisted entries. The maker of that film will have the opportunity to make a viral video to promote the Eden Project, which will be shared via youtube and their social networks, reaching a massive audience!

Details are as follows:

·         The winner will make a 1-2 minute film (including editing/post-production) to promote an aspect of the Eden Project as an educational visitor attraction.

·         A brief will be created in collaboration with Eden’s Digital Team that taps into the individual filmmaker’s talents and interests.

·         One-day shoot in June or July, with  food and travel expenses paid.

·         On condition the brief is met satisfactorily, the video will be released via the Eden Project YouTube Channel

·         It will also be promoted via the Eden Project website, Eden Project Blog, Facebook Page ( around 31,000 Likes), Twitter account (around 18,000 followers)

·         The film-maker must provide their own equipment (eg camera, microphone, editing equipment).

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for you to work with an internationally recognised organisation, creating something that will be a valuable asset to your portfolio, whatever stage you’re at! Sadly the Eden Project are unable to fund the equipment needed to make the film, so it will be on you to provide this, but we thought it was such an incredible opportunity that we couldn’t say no!

You have until THIS WEDNESDAY the 25th to submit your short film to be in with a chance at winning this amazing prize!
