<li><strong>Bounce</strong> deixa bolinhas coloridas de diferentes tamanhos na sua tela. Coloque uma música ou fale algo (requer microfone) e as bolinhas vão pular de acordo com o som.</li>
<li><strong>Light</strong> segue o mesmo princípio de Bounce, exceto que, nele, o show é de luzes.</li>
<li><strong>Dandelion</strong> consiste num dente-de-leão virtual que você pode soprar (requer microfone) e sacudir eternamente, pois ele sempre se renova.</li>
<li><strong>Webcam</strong> é um conjunto de gravações interessantes feitas pelos internautas através de suas <em>webcams </em>com alguns efeitos que o site disponibiliza. Além de assistir, você pode se divertir com os efeitos fazendo, você mesmo, gravações (requer webcam).</li>

<p>Iron Man 2 and Tropic Thunder writer Justin Theroux is penning a new draft of Space Invaders–not based on the video game. The original spec by Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger is about an astronaut who goes into space to catch his girlfriend in the act of cheating on him with a fellow astronaut. Even better: Will Arnett is attached to star! </p>
<p>The rom-com is being set up for Fox after the collapse of Fox Atomic, with Davis Entertainment (A Perfect Getaway, Aliens vs. Predators: Requiem) on board to produce. Theroux, an actor-turned-screenwriter, has a couple other projects on his plate including a comedy about air guitar competitions, which he may also direct according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Theroux also wrote the upcoming Danny McBride/James Franco medieval-stoner-comedy Your Highness.</p>

<p>Los que os hayáis embarcado alguna vez en la producción de una película de animación, aunque sólo se tratara de un experimento casero cutre salchichero, sabréis el trabajo que supone darle cierta vidilla a los objetos inanimados. Hay que grabar planos y planos para que la transición de movimiento de los muñecos articulados, la plastilina o los peluches, queden un poco naturales. Thanks, but I reeeeeally don&#8217;t need your pity-mailbox. Or your pity lawn mowing. Or your pity pumpkin and chrysanthe&#8211;OMG I&#8217;m the charity case of the neighborhood.</p>
<p>Sigh. Well, it&#8217;s nice to have nice neighbors, but dudes, I was just trying to perfect the space invaders, convert my lawn to prairie, and protest the original invasion of Europeans and the commercialization of holidays in this country.  Oh, and I&#8217;m hella lazy.</p>
<p>Well, fine.  I replaced the charity-mailbox with the one I&#8217;d been working on:  a very un-perfectly painted space invaders mailbox. I hope the unfinished design and uneven paint makes you crazy over in perfect-neighbor land.  Choke on it!</p>

<p>Capcom isn’t notorious for having great shoot-em-ups but their first video game ever was a vertical shooter. <i>Vulgus</i>, co-published with SNK, was a solid arcade game that took in quite a bit of quarters back in the day. While there are more sophisticated shooters now, it still is an enjoyable diversion that provides a formidable challenge. </p>

<p>The idea is really simple. You’re piloting a ship that is fighting against an alien army. You have two types of weapons at your disposal: a standard blaster weapon and a more powerful rocket cannon. While you have unlimited ammo for your blaster, you only have a few rockets so you need to use them wisely and pick-up additional rocket ammo units when possible. The enemies attack in random patterns with the exception of one set that fly onto the screen and pause in a particular formation then fly off. Some enemies are more difficult to destroy than others and as the game progresses, their attacks patterns and tactics become more dangerous. This forces the player to take both an offensive and defensive position throughout the game. The game doesn’t really have levels although the backgrounds do change after a while. The object of the game is score as many points possible. </p>
<p>A notable thing about this game is that even though it was released in the mid-80s, the controls feel very fluid. Many games coming out of that era had controls that felt a little delayed or unresponsive. For a game like <i>Vulgus</i> where the action can get quite intense, the controls feel incredibly responsive. The controls never fail the player; you die because either the action is too frantic on the screen and/or you’re just not good enough. Even though the controls are not fully analog (it uses an eight-direction joystick), you wouldn’t know it as you can whip your ship around in any direction you need to survive. </p>
<p>The presentation is fine and it stands up well today compared to other shooters of that era. Despite its limited hardware architecture, the game would have been one of the nicer looking games on an 8-bit console had it been released for the home market (a NES semi-port was in the works but never released). The sounds are forgettable though as the in-game music can be a bit annoying since it’s just the same ten-second sequence played over and over again. The sound effects are pretty bad as it sounds like more like static than anything else. It sounds like noises that are coming through an AM radio that’s sitting under a tunnel. Although, the music doesn’t come into play much since survival is more important than taking some quality time to listen to the game’s soundtrack. You’re more likely to tune out of the music and focus more on the game.</p>
<p>It’s unfortunate that <i>Vulgus</i> never saw the legengdary status acquired by other arcade shooters like Space Invaders or Galaga because it really is a quality title. It has survived through various video game compilations, PDA software releases, and is available for download on the internet if you look hard enough. It’s a fun timewaster that makes for an enjoyable break-time game. It’s not exactly going to blow anyone’s mind due to its limited design but its challenging game play and easy controls make it a classic game in the shooter genre. It’s simple, but it’s simple fun.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">I was browsing the internet, and stumbled upon what appeared to be a <a href="http://kotaku.com/5400213/the-dangerous-video-game-you-werent-supposed-to-play?skyline=true&#38;s=i">blog</a> authored by Stephen Totilo. The article, entitled &#8220;The Dangerous Video Game You Weren&#8217;t Supposed to Play&#8221;, described how Zach Gage created a variant of the arcade game Space Invaders. So it was a puff piece for a new version of an old game&#8211;no big deal. However, this delightful version has a different game mode&#8211;&#8221;<a href="http://www.stfj.net/index2.php?project=art/2009/loselose">Lose/Lose</a>&#8220;. The effect is exactly as the name implies in that the player loses however the game is played. During play, each alien represents a file on the player&#8217;s hard drive. If an alien is destroyed (which is the point of the game), a corresponding file on the player&#8217;s hard drive (or his <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">friend</span> victim&#8217;s hard drive) is deleted. Already, winning equates losing. But what happens when you <em>actually</em> lose the game? The game deletes itself.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">A mention of Symantec&#8217;s deeming of his game as a trojan added the modicum dose of conflict. Zach Gage displays the <a href="http://www.stfj.net/index2.php?project=art/2009/loselose">warning</a> on the game&#8217;s download page, but he claims the disclaimer clears his program of the term &#8220;malware&#8221;. Back in reality:</p>
<ol>
<li style="text-align:left;">The game is software.</li>
<li>The player can interact and, knowingly, wreak havoc on whichever hard drive the game is installed.</li>
</ol>
<p>To appear sympathetic to the plight of anti-virus companies, Gage seemed to understand why his program attracted some <em>mal</em>-attention. Then&#8230;he bombed. He suggested the more lighthearted terminology &#8220;dangerous software&#8221; to distinguish his game from programs specifically meant to harm computer files. He must have forgotten the hours he spent programming the game to DELETE FILES when a user kills an alien.</p>
<p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sub7">Sub7</a> is a popular trojan delivery/control tool that performs no task until the user clicks a button. Perhaps the dreaded Sub7 is actually a misunderstood piece of dangerous software. Redundant?</p>
<p>So this dangerous program can delete files. Seems simple enough, right? There is more to it&#8211;there should <em>not </em>be, but there is. Gage then attempted to transform his program into a piece of art centered around the real consequences virtual violence within the realm of Space Invaders can have. He is correct in this regard (about the consequences, not art). He then tries to use the game to compare how people consider virtual possessions differently. The game makes no statement related to virtual property. There is nothing virtual about deleting data off a hard drive&#8230;it is actual. Do not get me wrong, I felt compelled to backup my laptop and try the game. Did that make a social statement? No. Why? I was too lazy to backup my files, play the game, then re-install everything. Being able to replace everything would also nullify the social experiment since value is often directly related to scarcity. There are some files on my computer that I value more than others, but that would not change if I had a filing cabinet rather than a laptop. Experiment over.</p>
<p>Programming requires talent, so I am not saying Mr. Gage is not talented. He has a <a href="http://www.stfj.net/index2.php?project=art/2009/bedroom%20landscapes">website</a> showcasing his many works, both technical and &#8220;artistic&#8221;. I <em>am</em>, however, implying that he is not an artist. <p style="text-align:justify;">On my weekly post about Threadless, I decided today to feature one of their new prints, <em>Alien Autopsy</em> by <strong>Chris Rowson</strong>.This design has a clear reference to Space Invaders, one of the most popular arcade games ever created, with a place in the history of video games, and that still is a major influence on a  lot of people who grew up during the 80´s. There are thousands of t-shirts made on this theme, but this one still manages to be original and creative. The contrast between the realistic, detailed illustration of the scene, and the simple pixelated look of the alien, really works to maximize the concept behind this design. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Remember <a title="Space Invaders" href="http://www.spaceinvaders.de/" target="_blank">Space Invaders</a>?  Well, I introduce you to the new sport taking the world by storm which is Personal Space Invading, or Ghosting as it is popularly referred to as.  Developed by <a title="Hamish Blake and Andy Lee" href="www.hamishandandy.com" target="_blank">Hamish Blake and Andy Lee</a>, the famous Australian comedic duo, Ghosting consists of selecting an innocent bystander and following them as close as you can for as long as you can until the person realizes it.  Once the person realizes that you are &#8220;ghosting&#8221; them, the clock stops and your time is recorded.  The person who can ghost for the longest possible time without being noticed is the winner.  In case a tiebreaker is needed (or in case one just wants a good challenge), Speed Ghosting can be used to decide the winner.  Watch Hamish and Andy&#8217;s exemplary video on Ghosting, and look for it to be on the ballot to be considered for the Olympics in years to come.  Just kidding, but it would be sweet.</p>

<p>Przyznam, że miałem w planach napisać tą relację kilka dni po samych targach. Okazało się jednak, że zebranie się do kupy, znalezienie czasu wolnego, upload fotek i poukładanie myśli zajęlo mi tak dużo czasu, że każdy kogo targi interesowały, przeczytał już niejedna relację z tejże imprezy.<br />
Wychodząc właśnie z takiego założenia postanowiłem potraktować ten tekst dużo luźniej, nie opisując chronologicznie wydażen ani pokazów, ktore miały miejsce a jedynie skupić sie na tych najistotniejszych.<!--more--><br />

Na samym początku tekstu muszę zaznaczyć, że chociaż Poznań Game Arena odbyło się w dniach 16-18 października 2009 na terenie Międzynarodowych Targów Poznańskich, mnie było dane zwiedzać tą imprezę jedynie w sobotę 17 października 2009. Pierszy dzień zarezerwowany był tylko dla przedstawicieli mediów, natomiest niedzielę podarowałem sobie ze wzglęgu na bardzo ograniczony czas wolny jakim dysponowałem oraz sam repertuał imprezy, który w znacznej części pokrywał się z tym sobotnim.<br />
Po odczekaniu jakichś 45 minut przed wejsciem na same targi, udało mi się dostać do środka. Pierwsze wrażenie &#8211; przyznam szczerze &#8211;  było dość umiarkowane, ponieważ oprócz tłumów graczy oraz kilku hostess, tak naprawdę nic nie było w stanie przykuć mojej uwagi. Podczas pierszej próby ogarnięcia lokalizacji interesujących mnie wystawców, nieumyślnie przegapiłem prezentacje gier Avatar oraz  Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, które na szczęscie w ogóle mnie nie interesują oraz Mass Effect 2 &#8211; w które całe szczęscie udało mi się nawet zagrać o czym za chwilę.<br />
Pierwsze kroki postawiłem w sekcji, której królowały planszówki, karcianki  oraz systemy bitewne. Każdy chętny mógł spróbować swoich sił w tego typu grach, ponieważ zasady każdej z nich były na bierząco tłumaczone. Zainteresowanie tego typu rozgrywką zaobserwowałem dosyć duże, natomiast sama atmosfera tamtego miejsca sprawiała, że choć nie mam żadnego doświadczenia w tego typu grach, to właśnie ta sala stała się moją ulubioną podczas trwania targów. Pięknie pomalowane makiety, figurki dbałość o detale oraz oraz unosząca sie w powietrzu pasja sprawiały że chciało się do tego miejsca wracać.<br />

Przechadzając się po hali wystawowej natrafiłem na sekcję &#8220;8 bit / Retro… Bo kiedyś grało się lepiej&#8221;. Jedną dość duża powieżchnię wystawową, którą wypełniały konsole Jaguar, Lynx, Atari 400, Atari 800, seria Atari XL i XE z lat 80-tych oraz wiele innych sprzętów &#8220;z duszą&#8221;. Widziałem chulające na nich Donkey Kong, River Raid, Space Invaders czy Montezuma&#8217;s Revenge. Moją uwagę przykuło również Kolony 2106, polska gra na Atari XL/XE. Gra wydana została w trzech językach: angielskim, polskim i czeskim. Każdy może ją za darmo, legalnie pobrać ze strony atarionline.pl. Istnieje również kolekcjonerska wersja pudełkowa zawierające grę na 3 dyskietkach 180KB lub 1 dyskietce 360KB. W pudełku można znaleźć również płytę cd z grą, oraz muzyką w formacie mp3, drukowaną instrukcję w 3 językach oraz gadżet niespodziankę.<br />

Po zwiedzeniu wiekszości stoisk, sprawdzeniu turnieju Guirat Hero: Metalica odbywającego sie na piętrze, przyszedł czas na pokaz Forza Motorsport 3. Niestety oprócz PR-owej paplaniny i dosłownie kilku ciekawostek nie uświadczyłem na nim tak naprawdę niczego interesującego. Wydaje mi się, że gracz, który chociaż mniej więcej opanował używanie klawiatury oraz Google, wiedział już przed samym pokazem Forza Motorsport 3 więcej o samej grze niż &#8220;target&#8221; tego PR-owego show. Nie mam tutaj na myśli graczy śledzących każdego skrawka informacji czy &#8220;kontrolowanego wycieku&#8221; dozowanego skrupulatnie przez samego wydawcę. Mam namyśli zwykłych graczy choć minimalnie (hmmm a są tacy?) zainteresowanych tym tytułem.<br />
Forza Motorsport 3 będzie/jest grą wspaniałą. To nie jest zwykła gra wyścigowa. To jest gra o motoryzacji i dla fanów motoryzacji. Co do tego nie ma wątpliwości. W grę można było zagrać na stoiskach Microsoft&#8217;u co było na pewno dużym plusem samych targów. Przyznam się szczerze, że nie pokusiłem się. Jakoś tak nie chciało mi się czekać, aby dopchać sie do pada, gdy preorder na moją edycję limitowaną został już zamówiony w jednym z brytyjskich sklepów. Przyznam też, że trzeba było pograć, bo mój egzemplarz w dniu gry to piszę, leży już od ponad dwóch i poł tygodnia na półce i czeka na rozfoliowanie.<br />

Jak wspomniałem wcześniej, udało mi się sprawdzić grywalną wersję Mass Effect 2. W tym momencie należą sie brawa dla EA za stworzenie bardzo klimatycznego stoiska (patrz galeria), gdzie chętni mieli okację w spokoju przetestować najnowszą część tej space opery. Trzeba przyznać, że gra przeszła dużą metamorfozę od czasów częsci pierwszej. Mam mieszane uczucia co do tego tytułu. Mam wrażenie, że ta gra skierowana jest do mainstream&#8217;u. To co widziałem na ekranie to połączenie action-rpg z&#8230;Gears of War. System cover&#8217;ów, zróżnicowane bronie, nastawienie na widok zza ramienia&#8230;hmm sam nie wiem. Być może sam build, w który dane mi było zagrać był tak skonstruowany, by mnie nie znudzić podczas tak krótkiej sesji, jednak zrobienie z gry RPG, sprzelanki FPP z elementami RPG jakoś mi nie podeszło. Wierzę, że gra obroni sie &#8220;fabularnie&#8221; i że znajdą się ludzie, którym się to spodoba (czyt. sprzeda), ale dla mnie na ten moment wyglada to niesmacznie. Nie jest żadną tajemnicą, że nie jestem wcale ortodoksyjnym wyznawcą Mass Effect. Powiem więcej, pierwszą część jedynie odpaliłem a sam wolę zdecydowanie klimaty jRPG, ma jednak ona w sobie to cos co mnie przykuło do ekranu i wciągnęło w ten świat, to coś do czego na pewno wrócę, gdy tylko nadrobię swoje growe zaległości i znajdę duużooo wolnego czasu.<br />

Skoro już jestem przy Electronic Arts to wspomnę tylko, że miałem okazję sprawdzić również grywalną wersję Dragon Age: Origins (Dragon Age: Początek). Gdy już odstałem swoje by położyć swoje ręce na drugim z najbardziej oczekiwanych RPG najbliższych miesięcy (tygodni?), jakież było moje zdziwienie, gdy okazało się że gra hula na PC. Przezwyciężyłem w sobie niechęć i zabrałem się za granie. Niestety, później było już tylko gorzej. Build, który miałem okazję testować polegał na przeprowadzeniu tuzina dialogów i odblokowaniu sobie questa &#8211; co autorowi tego tekstu sie niestety nie udało, ponieważ skonczył się czas przeznaczony na zabawę z grą. Problem z dialogami polegał na tym, że nie było ich w ogóle słychać przez hałasy dobiegające z hali wystawowej. Pokazanie tego typu builda na targach, gdzie gracz ma niewiele czasu na zapoznanie sie z tylułem mija sie moim zdaniem z celem i tylko może zniechęcić do tytułu. Wiem, że Dragon Age: Początek będzie (jest?) grą bardzo dobrą (choć przyznać muszę, że prawdopodobnie nie dla mnie), wiem że na pewno w niego bedę chciał zagrać, jednak żałuję czasu spędzonego w kolejcę tylko po to by chwilę pograć w tą grę i się zawieść.<br />
Podczas zwiedzania targów udało mi się zobaczyć drugą połowę prezentacji Assasin&#8217;s Creed 2 czyli jednej z najbardziej wyczekiwanych produkcji koncówki tego roku. Jak się okazało, Polska jest drugim krajem na świecie, w którym demonstrowano grywalną wersję gry, co dalo się niestety zauważyć ponieważ build miał jeszcze problemy z płynnością animacji.<br />
Filip Szabla z polskiego oddziału Ubisoft pokazał nowy rodzaj zabójstw czyli tzw. ledge assassination oraz umiejętność pływania. Gra w wersji konsolowej pojawi się w Polsce 20 listopada (PC &#8211; 1 kwartał 2010). Zarówno wersje konsolowe, jak i ta pecetowa zostaną spolszczone (wersja kinowa).<br />

Ostatnim pokazem na jaki udało mi się dotrzeć był Tom Clancy&#8217;s Splinter Cell Conviction. Prezentowana była znana z E3 scena w toalecie, gdzie Sam Fisher rozbijając głową jakiegoś nieszczęśnika znajdujące się w pomieszczeniu lustra, umywalki i pisuary dowiaduje się nazwiska mordercy swojej córki Sary.<br />
Następna część buildu rozgrywa się na Malcie, gdzie sam zakrada się do willi zabójcy córki. Pokazano kilka nowych ruchów, między innymi &#8220;mark &#38; execute&#8221;. Sam może teraz zaznaczyć wrogów oraz źródła światła, które chce zniszczyć, jeszcze przed wejściem do pomieszczenia używając rozbitych fragmentów lusterka samochodowego, by zobaczyć swoje cele znajdujące się za drzwiami wykorzystując szparę pod nimi. Po zaznaczeniu celów Sam automatycznie strzela do wskazanych przez nas obiektów. Pokazano również ciekawie zapowiadające się &#8220;last known position&#8221;, dzięki której wiemy, w którym miejscu Sam był widziany po raz ostatni. Tom Clancy&#8217;s Splinter Cell Conviction trafi na półki sklepowe 23 lutego 2010 roku również w polskiej (kinowej) wersji językowej i dla mnie jest to ta gra na którą czekam.<br />
Warto wspomnieć, że podczas PGA 2009 Piotra Wysocki ze sceny Halo grając w Halo 3: ODST w trybie Firefight, przez 25 godzin 59 minut i 59 sekund pobił Rekord Guinnessa w najdłuższą rozgrywkę w grę FPS.<br />
Drugi dzień targów, który miałem okazję zwiedzać zakonczył występ zespołu Jamal, którym impreza została oficjalnie zakonczona.<br />

<description><![CDATA[Después de pasar todo el domingo fuera de casa, uno llega a su hogar dispuesto a encontrarse cualqui]]></description>

<p>Después de pasar todo el domingo fuera de casa, uno llega a su hogar dispuesto a encontrarse cualquier cosa&#8230; Mi sorpresa ha sido cuando he empezado a dar mi &#8220;ronda&#8221; diaria por los blogs que suelo leer y <strong>me he topado con esta curiosa imagen.</strong></p>
<p>A primera vista uno quizás no aprecia los matices de esta obra, pero si nos fijamos un poco mas, nos damos cuenta de que estas naves esconden un secreto, <strong>¡sus sombras se parecen sospechosamente a las siluetas de los Space Invaders!</strong></p>
