Newsarama reports that the upcoming DVD Justice League: Crisis of Two Earths will also include an animated short staring The Spectre. The short will be directed by Steve Niles and  include the voice acting talent of Gary Cole and Alyssa Milano.

DC Showcase – The Spectre: The first animated short in the all-new DC Showcase series focuses on a detective story with an ethereal twist, featuring the otherworldly character originally introduced by DC Comics in 1940. The short is written by Steve Niles (30 Days of Night), and the voice cast includes Gary Cole (Entourage) and Alyssa Milano (Charmed).

Watchmen was written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. Watchmen was originally a mini-series published under DC Comics, it spanned one year with twelve issues and was collected into a graphic novel around 2005. It was the winner of the Hugo Award and was the only graphic novel on Time Magazine’s list of the top 100 English novels.

Watchmen has been widely received as the most celebrated graphic novel of all time. Many times director’s had tried to adapt the book to film, and in 2009 in some ways Zack Snyder (director of 300) succeeded.Many fans did not like the film very much, personally I thought it was a pretty faithful adaption, click here to read my review of the film.

The story follows that of six would-be heroes who decide to take the law into their own hands after the Minute Men were disbanded sometime in 1940. The characters consist of Silk Spectre II, Nite Owl II, Dr. Manhattan, The Comedian, Ozymandias, and Rorschach. After the Comedian is killed Rorschach begins investigating his death, he comes up with the theory that there is a “mask killer”. He then proceeds to inform all of the retired heroes of the Comedian’s death and his mask killer theory. The heroes must then overcome their differences and band together to stop World War III.

The Silk Spectre II

Laurie Juspeczyk aka Silk Spectre II is the daughter of the original Silk Spectre, her mother forced into the role of a masked adventurer (masked is sort of false as she doesn’t actually have one but what are you gonna do?). She is Dr, Manhattan’s girl friend, however, she leaves him in the third chapter.

Nite Owl II

Dan Dreiberg aka Nite Owl II took the role of Nite Owl when one of the old heroes in the Minute Men retired. He later retires after the passing of the Keene Act. In the ’60’s he and Rorschach worked together as partners.

Rorschach

Walter Kovacs aka Rorschach decided to become a masked adventurer after a rough childhood in which he saw the true horror of the world. After a kidnap case in the ’60’s he went insane and began killing criminals instead of catching them and leaving them to the police. He became a wanted man after the passing of the Keene Act. In some ways he is the main character, because he is the one who tells the story.

Ozymandias

Adrian Veidt aka Ozymandias was a man who believed in Utopia and world peace, and believes these things lie in the future. He retired from adventuring two years before the Keene Act was passed, and cashed on his alter ego making all sorts of merchandise and becoming an aristocrat.

Dr. Manhattan

Jon Osterman aka Dr. Manhattan was killed in an accident in an intrinsic field machine, he was torn apart then made a new body with all sorts of abilities, he is one of two heroes still in employ with the government.

The Comedian

Edward Blake aka The Comedian “He was practically a nazi” and a very lonely man. Heis practically insane like Rorschach. The Comedian is more of a soldier than a super hero. He participated in the Vietnam war with Dr. Manhattan.

The art of Watchmen is beautiful, Dave Gibbons does a wonderful job, and John Higgins uses are beautiful especially when they are used to show distance of an object. And the design for the costumes is the most important part to me because the costumes of most of the heroes are colorful which is surprising considering how grim the book is.

Overall, Watchmen is an excellent and thought provoking book and should be purchased by anyone who either likes comics or likes literature in general.

Yesterday evening I went on a ‘ghost walk’ with three friends having wanted to go on one for over 20 years. I first saw them advertised in 1985 on a billboard in the city. At the time I was far too young to be allowed to go on one by myself and so I tried in vain to convince my father that it would be a wise investment in my future, but to no avail. However, now I am old enough and tonight I fulfilled that ambition. We went on the walk which started at the west doors of the Minster. The cost was (a pretty reasonable) £4 ($6.54) each for adults. There are quite a few ghost walks, but we’d gone for the one that looked the most established, going off the details on their website. But then again, I don’t suppose they differ much between them. Anyway, we turned up 10 minutes early after driving round looking for a parking space. I was surprised by how many people were there to go on it also. With it being Winter and out of season I was expecting to see no more than a handful, but there must have easily been over 100. Maybe it was something to do with it being so close to Halloween. We all queued up and filed past the tour guide, wearing a top hat and looking more than a little like film actor Bill Nighy, to pay our admission. By the time my friends and I reached him his hand was bulging with notes. Obviously I don’t know how much he gets to keep, but if it was just a third he’s onto a nice little earner. Once everyone had paid we grouped round him as he stood under an old gas lamp outside the Minster and started talking, then we walked up the street to the statue of the emperor Constantine, then we walked further up and stood outside a building. At this moment I decided to get a snap of him and took out my camera and fired off a shot, almost blinding the poor woman stood near me with the flash. Anyway, from here we walked round the corner and stood on a green, then it was across the street and down a narrow alleyway to the end of the street where our guide told us of ghostly orphan children murdered by the man who was supposed to be their carer. He also told us to be aware that often people had felt small hands grab theirs as they’d walked down the same street. Luckily I didn’t get accosted. Lastly we stood just near the entrance to the Shambles where it seemed our guide abruptly stopped mid-story as our hour and 10 minutes tour time ran out. Nevertheless though, it was a good fun evening and something I would recommend. Not sure if I’d do it again, but if so will go on a different one. A few weeks ago, I went out with a friend at night to get some snaps. We first stopped in a graveyard where I took the picture below. Upon uploading to my comp I noticed in the space between the tree and the tombstones are what appears to be two eyes looking at the camera. I’m sure they’re not eyes and I’m sure there’s a perfectly normal explanation for what they are, but I’ve looked and looked and can’t figure it out and wondered if anyone else had any ideas as to what it could be? Perhaps a politics today must become spectral before materializing. The spectre of communism has been long absent, yet how are we to think this resurrection, this becoming-form once again? A spectre is the militant of the ideological battle, the prefiguration of material insurrection. This lurking form is at once able to test the State of the situation and yet not show its true potential, not reveal itself. The spectre is at once recognizable but unlocatable, yet poised for attack, condensing with intensity. It is the shape of things to come, whatever they might be. It is of the people and more than them, a threatening appearance, an excess of a politics. How might we harness a spectral politics? Every mass becomes a force, but as well, forces engender masses to form.

James Bond (Sean Connery) und Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Donald Pleasence) in "Man lebt nur zweimal" (1967)

Ernst Stavro Blofeld: „James Bond, gestatten Sie, dass ich mich Ihnen vorstelle. Mein Name ist Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Angeblich sollen Sie in Hongkong ermordet worden sein!?“

James Bond: „Ja, das ist mein zweites Leben.“

Wortgefecht zwischen Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Donald Pleasence) und James Bond 007 (Sean Connery) in “Man lebt nur zweimal” aus dem Jahre 1967.

Ernst Stavro Blofeld, seines Zeichens Oberschurke, Katzenliebhaber (sein Erkennungszeichen ist stets die weiße Perserkatze) und Vorsitzender der Weltterrororganisation SPECTRE, machte James Bond vor allem in den ersten sechs von sieben Filmen das Leben schwer – mal direkt, oft auch nur indirekt. Blofeld ist einer der Figuren, die in der Bond-Welt zwar immer wieder auftauchte, mit denen die Produzenten aber recht sorglos umgingen, was die Besetzung und somit auch die Logik (* siehe unten) in den Filmen angeht. Obwohl der Organisations-Vorsteher bereits seit “James Bond jagt Dr. No” die Fäden des Verbrechens zieht, bekommt Ernst Stavro Blofeld erst im fünften Bond-Film “Man lebt nur zweimal” ein Gesicht – und es wird nicht sein letztes bleiben…

Er jedoch verlieh Ernst Stavro Blofeld nicht nur das erste, sondern auch das markanteste Konterfei – eine mit Narben durchkreuzte Visage mit den durchbohrenden Augen eines Teufels. Gestatten Sie: Pleasence, Donald Pleasence – mit der Lizenz zu bösewichteln. Donald Pleasence wäre am 5. Oktober 2009 genau 90 Jahre alt geworden. Und er spielte nicht nur Blofeld, sondern in geschätzt über 150 Spiel- und Fernsehfilmen mit, darunter einen Passfälscher in dem Kriegsgefangenen-Abenteuer “Gesprengte Ketten”, den Psychiater Dr. Loomis in allen sechs Horrorfilmen der “Halloween”-Reihe und einen Mörder bei Columbo. Hier ist die ganze Geschichte von Donald Pleasence.

Das Leben von Donald Pleasence vor Ernst Stavro Blofeld

Donald Pleasence erblickt am 5. Oktober 1919 in Worksop/Nottinghamshire (England) das Licht des Krankenhauszimmers. Seine Eltern sind der Bahnhofsvorsteher Thomas Stanley Pleasence und seine Frau Alice, außerdem zählt noch ein älterer Bruder zu Donalds Familie. Seinen Drang zur Schauspielerei erkennt Donald Pleasence schon in jungem Alter, so dass er ein Jahr vor seinem Abschluss seine Schullaufbahn abrupt beendet, um sich bei der “Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts” in London einzuschreiben – die gleiche Akademie übrigens, die zum Beispiel Roger Moore und Lois Maxwell wenige Jahre später besuchen. Donald Pleasence ist dieses Glück allerdings nicht vergönnt, da er zwar einen Platz an der Akademie, aber kein Stipendium für dessen Finanzierung erhält. Und so steigt Donald erst mal in die Fußstapfen seines Vaters und jobbt bei der Eisenbahn. Über ein Jahr muss sich Donald Pleasence mit den qualmenden Stahlrössern herumschlagen, bevor er eine Anstellung als Bühnen-Assistent in einem Theater auf  der Insel Jersey bekommt. Dort schleicht sich Donald quasi durch die Hintertür zur Schauspielerei und 1939 darf er erstmals in einem Theaterstück mitspielen – und zwar in “Wuthering Heights” (“Stürmische Höhen”), die Umsetzung des gleichnamigen Romans von Emily Brontë, den 1979 auch die englische Sängerin Kate Bush erfolgreich vertonen wird. Donald kommt bei den Leuten gut an und so klettert er Stück für Stück die Besetzungsliste hoch, so dass er es 1942 in dem William-Shakespeares-Stück “Was ihr wollt” sogar bis nach London schafft. Auch privat bleibt Donald Pleasence das Glück treu. Bereits 1941 heiratet er seine Verlobte Miriam Raymond. Diese Ehe wird allerdings nur bis 1958 halten, sie bringt die beiden Töchter Angela und Jean hervor.

Während Donald Pleasences verheißungsvollem Karrierestart wütet allerdings auch der Zweite Weltkrieg durch Europa und mit der Schauspielerei scheint schneller Schluss zu sein, als ein gefühlter erster Akt. Eigentlich ist Donald überzeugter Pazifist, weshalb er zunächst einen Kriegsersatzdienst als Holzfäller ausübt. Mit den Kriegsjahren siegt jedoch seine Kampfmoral über seine Ethik und so tritt er der Royal Air Force als Bomberpilot bei. Bei einem Einsatz über Frankreich am 1. August 1944 schießen die Deutschen seine Maschine ab. Zwar kann Donald Pleasence noch notlanden, doch am Boden angekommen nehmen ihn bereits deutsche Truppen herzlich in Empfang und nehmen ihn bis zum Ende der Auseinandersetzungen für fast ein Jahr in Gefangenschaft. Immerhin macht Donald dort Erfahrungen, die er 1963 bestens in dem Kriegsgefangenen-Thriller “Gesprengte Ketten” einbringen kann.

Der Mann mit den hypnotischen Augen: Donald Pleasence

1946, ein Jahr nach Kriegsende, versucht Donald Pleasence mit der Schauspielerei einen zweiten Anlauf, wieder von ganz unten. Bei einem Arrangement im Theater “Bristol Old Vic” in Birmingham wird der englische Film-Star Laurence Olivier (* 22. Mai 1907 in Surrey, England; + 11. Juli 1989 in West Sussex, England; “Der Marathon-Mann”, “Die Brücke von Arnheim”) auf ihn aufmerksam und nimmt ihn zusammen mit seiner Ehefrau Vivien Leigh (* 5. November 1913 in Darjiling, Indien; + 7. Juli 1967 in London; “Vom Winde verweht”, “Endstation Sehnsucht”) mit nach New York für eine kleine Theater-Tournee. Das Trio spielt dort die beiden Stücke “Julius Cäsar” sowie “Antonius und Cleopatra” von William Shakespeare. Für Donald Pleasence ist es der Auftakt einer erfolgreichen Theater-Karriere, die ihn bis in die 1960er am Broadway in New York sowie in London zu einer festen Größe macht. Seit Mitte der 1950er wendet er sich zudem mehr und mehr dem Kino und Fernsehen zu. Die Kritiker nennen Donald Pleasence inzwischen „den Mann, mit den hypnotischen Augen“.

Donald Pleasence als Fälscher Lt. Blythe in "Gesprengte Ketten" (1963)

Sein Kino-Debüt gibt Donald Pleasence 1954 in dem Streifen “Ins Paradies verbannt” (“The Beachbomber”), im Fernsehen sieht man ihn von 1955 bis 1958 als Prince John in “The Adventures of Robin Hood”. 1958 fällt zudem seine Ehe mit Miriam Raymond dem Scheidungsrichter zum Opfer. Doch bereits 1959 wird Donald Pleasence die Schauspielerin und Sängerin Josephine Martin Crombie heiraten, bis auch diese Ehe um 1970 getrennt wird – aus dieser Beziehung gehen dann die Kinder Lucy und Polly Jo hervor. Doch zurück zum Show-Business, wo es Erfreuliches zu berichten gibt. Denn in Donald Pleasences Scheidungsjahr 1958 wählen ihn die Briten zum “Besten Britischen Schauspieler”. Seinen internationalen Durchbruch feiert Donald Pleasence allerdings erst 1963 in “Gesprengte Ketten” mit einem herausragenden Staraufgebot wie zum Beispiel: James Garner, Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Gordon Jackson, Richard Attenborough und vielen mehr. In diesem Film geht es um ein deutsches Kriegsgefangenenlager, dessen alliierte Insassen einen groß angelegten Ausbruch planen. Um sich auf der Flucht draußen frei bewegen zu können, benötigen die Männer Ausweise, die der Passfälscher “Flight Lt. Colin ‘The Forger’ Blythe” (Donald Pleasence) anfertigt. Während der Ausbruchs-Vorbereitungen merkt der Federkünstler jedoch, dass er langsam sein Augenlicht verliert… Dies ist übrigens eine der wenigen sympathischen Rollen, die Donald Pleasence während seiner über vierzigjährigen Filmkarriere zu spielen bekommt. Seine durchbohrenden Augen prädestinieren ihn gerade zu für die Rolle des Bösen oder wenigstens für zwielichtige und mysteriöse Typen… oder eben als Ernst Stavro Blofeld, dem Erzfeind von James Bond.

Das Leben von Donald Pleasence als Ernst Stavro Blofeld

In “James Bond jagt Dr. No” deutet Dr. No die Existenz einer übergeordneten Terrororganisation lediglich an – dank deutscher Synchronisation heißt sie da noch GofTAR (Geheimorganisation für Terror, Spionage, Angriff und Rache) sowie in den folgenden Filmen (“Liebesgrüße aus Moskau”, “Feuerball”) PHANTOM, und nicht wie es richtigerweise heißen muss SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counterintelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, auf deutsch: Spezial-Exekutive für Spionageabwehr, Terrorismus, Rache und Erpressung). Spectre gibt es im Englischen auch als Wort und heißt soviel wie „Gespenst“. Daher wohl auch die deutsche Übersetzung PHANTOM). In “Liebesgrüße aus Moskau” taucht Blofeld erstmals auf – sitzend, ohne Kopf aber dafür mit der markanten weißen Perserkatze. Ernst Stavro Blofeld spielt in den Büchern von Ian Fleming, dem Romanschriftsteller und Schöpfer von James Bond, eigentlich keine so bedeutende Rolle und taucht auch erst viel später auf. Der ehemalige Kriegsspion schießt sich in seinen Büchern vor allem auf die damalige UdSSR und dessen Geheimdienst KGB als Bösewichter ein. Schließlich ist Krieg, wenn auch „nur“ ein Kalter. Den beiden Bond-Produzenten Albert R. Broccoli und Harry Saltzman hingegen scheint ein filmischer Twist mit den Russen zu heiß, sie wollen in ihren Geschichten mögliche Konflikte mit der östlichen Weltmacht vermeiden, daher benötigen sie eine bösartige Ersatzmacht, die für alles Unheil verantwortlich gemacht werden kann. Deshalb ernennen sie den Schurken Ernst Stavro Blofeld und seine Weltterrororganisation SPECTRE schon frühzeitig zum absoluten Feindbild.

Oberschurke und Erzfeind von James Bond: Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Donald Pleasence)

In “Goldfinger” muss Blofeld ruhen und das boshafte Treiben ganz allein Auric Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) überlassen, doch bereits in “Feuerball” darf er wieder ran – immer noch ohne Gesicht, aber mit einem schnurrenden Wollknäuel dekoriert. Als die Fans erfahren, dass auch in “Man lebt nur zweimal” Ernst Stavro Blofeld das Ziel von Bonds tödlicher Lizenz sein soll, fordern sie endlich ein Gesicht für den schurkigen Tunichtgut. Die Bond-Produzenten Albert R. Broccoli und Harry Saltzman liebäugelten aber ohnehin damit, Blofeld endlich eine Visage zu verpassen und so verpflichtet Saltzman den tschechischen Schauspieler Jan Weirich. Der Tscheche erscheint jedoch weder seinem Partner Albert R. Broccoli noch dem Regisseur Lewis Gilbert trotz aller Maskenkünste als markant und fies genug, sie halten ihn eher für eine Sparversion des Weihnachtsmannes. Obwohl Blofelds Szenen eigentlich schon teilweise im Kasten sind, begibt man sich auf die Suche einem passenderen Gesicht. Und sie werden fündig: bei Donald Pleasence. Der Charakter-Mime macht auch gleich ein paar Vorschläge, wie man die Figur Blofeld noch schurkiger aussehen lassen könnte, etwa einen Buckel, einen humpelnden Gang, einen Bart oder eine lahme Hand. Letztendlich einigt man sich auf eine fiese lange Narbe im Gesicht – für Donald Pleasence die unangenehmste Variante, weil der dafür benutzte Klebstoff in seinen Augen schmerzt.

Trotz des engagierten Einsatzes von Donald Pleasence reagieren die Kritiker wider Erwarten ausgerechnet auf seine Paraderolle wenig euphorisch – nicht euphorisch genug zumindest, um ihn im nächsten Bond-Abenteuer “Im Geheimdienst Ihrer Majestät” (1969, mit George Lazenby) wieder zu besetzen. Die Rolle des Ernst Stavro Blofeld bekommt stattdessen der Kojak-Darsteller Telly Savalas. Zwar stehen sich in diesem sechsten Bondfilm dann tatsächlich zwei neue Schauspieler gegenüber, rein von der Logik hätten sich aber die Figuren Bond und Blofeld aus “Man lebt nur zweimal” bereits bestens kennen müssen… taten sie aber nicht?! Und auch die markante Narbe weicht plötzlich den fehlenden Ohrläppchen?! Fragen zur Logik bitte an den Drehbuch-Autor oder das Produktionsteam… 

Das Leben von Donald Pleasence nach Ernst Stavro Blofeld

Donald Pleasence mutiert zu einem absoluten Arbeitstier. Drei, vier, fünf Produktionen im Jahr sind die Regel, nicht die Ausnahme. In seinem Übereifer rutscht der Charakter-Darsteller in seinen Film-Arrangements gerne mal in die B-Kategorie ab, weil ihm guter Stoff oft nicht schnell genug nachkommt. Und wenn er kommt, findet sich Donald Pleasence meist wieder in der Rolle des wahnsinnigen Bösewichts wieder.

"Da wäre noch eine Kleinigkeit..." - Inspektor Columbo (Peter Falk) ist Adrian Carsini (Donald Pleasence) auf der Spur

Wie man einen Mörder von Niveau spielen kann, beweist Donald Pleasence 1973 als Adrian Carsini in der herausragenden Krimi-Folge “Columbo – Wein ist dicker als Blut” (“Any Old Port in a Storm”), wo er seiner Mordsrolle sogar sympathische Züge verleihen darf und für seine Tat vom Inspektor sogar Verständnis erntet – letztendlich überführt ihn Columbo (Peter Falk) natürlich trotzdem… aber eben auf die nette Art. Abgesehen von Donald Pleasence’s Auftritt bei Columbo und James Bond bleiben trotz seiner Unmenge an abgedrehten Filmen vor allem die wenigen Highlights aus den 1960ern haften, die neben “Gesprengte Ketten” und “Man lebt nur zweimal” vor allem das Jesu’-Christi-Epos “Die größte Geschichte aller Zeiten” (1965), der Western-Klassiker “Vierzig Wagen westwärts” (1965), der Antikriegsfilm “Die Nacht der Generäle” (1966), das Science-Fiction-Abenteuer “Die phantastische Reise” (1966) und im selben Jahr “Wenn Katelbach kommt” sind. Trotz seiner vielen Drehtermine findet Donald Pleasence 1970 noch Zeit, kurz nach seiner zweiten Scheidung den dritten Bund fürs Leben zu schließen. Die Glückliche heißt Meira Shore, sie schenkt ihm seine mittlerweile fünfte Tochter namens Miranda – das Ehe-Gelübde wird diesmal bis 1988 halten.

Die nachkommende Generation des Kino-Publikums hätte Donald Pleasence womöglich fast vergessen, würde er sich 1978 nicht für den Horror-Kracher “Halloween” ködern lassen. Dort spielt der den psychiatrischen Irrenarzt Dr. Sam Loomis – eine Rolle, der Donald Pleasence in sechs Filmen bis 1995 treu bleibt. Dazwischen dreht er weiter dutzendweise Filme, hierzulande sorgen jedoch nur “Die Klapperschlange” (1981) mit Kurt Russel und bei manchen vielleicht noch “Die Fürsten der Dunkelheit” (1987) für Aufregung. Dafür heiratet Donald Pleasence in seinem Scheidungsjahr 1988 gleich noch einmal. Seine vierte Ehefrau heißt Linda Kentwood, sie lebt mit ihm zusammen, bis dass der Tod die beiden scheidet; im Jahre 1995 am 2. Februar stirbt Donald Pleasence im Alter von 75 in Saint Paul de Vence (nahe Nizza/Südfrankreich) an einer missglückten Herzklappen-Operation.

Wer einmal eines der Spielfilm-Highlights von Donald Pleasence gesehen hat, kommt nicht umhin, ihn als großen Schauspieler zu adeln. Jede Mimik, jeder Blick mit seinen stahlblauen Augen waren eine Ehrerweisung an die Schauspielkunst. Auch wenn von seinen unzähligen Filmen (100 bis 200 – die Quellen variieren diesbezüglich sehr) vielleicht nur ein gefühltes Dutzend in Erinnerung bleibt – diese dafür umso mehr! Bei seinem Gastspiel in “Columbo” hebt Donald Pleasence alias Adrian Carsini sein Glas und spricht einen schönen Toast: „Mögen unsere Feinde niemals so glücklich sein, wie wir in diesem Moment.“ Am 5. Oktober 2009 wäre Donald Pleasence 90 Jahre alt geworden, eine ideale Gelegenheit, diesen Trinkspruch wieder einmal mit Leben zu füllen.

Ladies, gentlemen, capsuleers, carebears, and pirates. It has been a wonderful journey that started nearly two years ago. Alas, it is no longer possible to keep this blog alive and well. It has been one hell of a run. I’ve had the pleasure of working, arguing, and collaborating with such fine individuals as James Egan and Krystalle Voecks at Massively, Crazy Kinux, Mynxee, and Spectre from the blogpack, and countless others who kept me focused through their comments, advice, and criticism. I have enjoyed the experience every step of the way and hope I made a tiny little ripple in the big lake that is the EVE blogging community.

I am going to be focusing on playing EVE with the time I have these days rather than writing about it. My last contribution to the blogging community will be the interview with CCP Hammerhead at a time to be determined. So use the comments in this post to continue to pose your own questions since I would love to get as much answered as I can for everyone. Media Molecule has announced that this Thursday, the Watchmen will be invading LittleBigPlanet with four costumes and several new stickers. The costumes allow the sack-boys to assume the roles of the Silk Spectre, Rorschach, Nite Owl, and Ozymandias.

While these costumes are absolutely astounding, I’m a little disappointed that they are coming out this late. Mostly due to the fact that the Game of the Year Edition of LittleBigPlanet was just released a few short weeks ago. But I guess they have to have something for us to buy on the PlayStation Network. The costumes and stickers will be available this Thursday as a package and individually.
