M’explico.

It seems that 99.51 percent of Iban voters in the 9731 Baleh Constituency will see a challenge fort

It seems that 99.51 percent of Iban voters in the 9731 Baleh Constituency will see a challenge forthcoming during the next State elections. In the last state elections Dr.Masing (President of Party Rakyat Sarawak) was challenged by Lucius Jimbun using the SNAP symbol but he truomphed quite easily.

The likes of strong man and party Presidents Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon( news flash:- A big surprise! Penang State Chief Minister has LOST!) and Sammy Vellu were soundly defeated in the 308 elections and James will be very wary of the threat that will be posed this time round from PKR. The divisional chief of PKR Ulu Rejang Frankie Bendindang is speculated to give James a ”good fight” and touted to be the candidate favoured by PKR.

However the voters of Baleh thinks otherwise according to a survey conducted by Natasha and Joey of audie61 and team. The results indicate that the voters are in favour of another candidate who gave the BN a lot of sleepless nights in the last 308 elections. It was found out that he losts the lasts parliamentary seat as BN had the full machinery and also only the ENEMY FROM WITHIN his own camp derailed his path to Parliament. He was an independant candidate then but if he is a PKR candidate surely Baleh will be an EXPLOSIVE SEAT.

According to a veteran voter and a local from Baleh in 1983 when James stepped in the world of politics he brought GOOD and BIG Hopes for the Ibans in Baleh. Dr.James is afterall a doctor of Philosophy and he graduated from the Australian National University Canberra. He also served as a senior research officer with SESCO(Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation) He has all the credentials to be helping and assisting all his fellow Ibans in the area.

Has he done sufficiently enough after two and half decades as Assemblyman for the area? He has all the facilities within his reach and if he has done enough there would not be any more rumblings and disgruntled Ibans would they? This is what James envisage in his vision for the 2006 elections. If he is relected he will bring more infrastructure development and land development for large scale farming and plantations in Baleh.

He will ensure all schools in the area are supplied by electricity as part of the plan to equip the schools with the necessary infrastructure and facilities to facilitate the promotion of the information and communications technology. As for roads,James said the first phase of the proposed 37 Km Kapit-Nanga Mujong-Baleh-Nanga Gat Road would be completed by 2007 while the second phase was due for completion by 2010.

Baleh being one of the remotest and biggest rural state constituencies James has done sufficently enough to stay in power for the last two and half decades but they are still many oppostion voices harping on his failures to deliver as promised. WHAT WAS PROMISED..?? WAS IT THE CHIEF MINISTERS SEAT.Hmmm.??

This is the very question now being asked in Baleh,’What other hopes has James to deliver to the Ibans in Baleh.?” Will James be able to withstand the next challenge? Will they be tears flowing or champagne to reach his third decade? This audie61 picked up from an internet blog,”I suspect that in the subconscious psyche of many Sarawakians, they do not believe that opposition parties can defeat the BN in the state general election.

Will PKR stop the champagne flow for James as he looks forward to three decades of being a State Assemblyman or will this be a hurdle too far for James? We shall monitor N56 with interests and for now we shall leave it to the people of Baleh to see who is mosts suited to represent them in the State legislative Assembly.

.

This Sunday the Observer Music Monthly publishes its top 50. So I thought I might as well have a go. I wanted to get mine done first and see how much common ground I’ve got with the OMM seeing as its my favourite music mag. It’s harder than you’d think to select just 50 albums that span 2000-2009. I’ve had to leave out some records I really like. But here we go… Please comment as you feel necessary!

28 – Bruce Springsteen: The Rising.

27 – The Gaslight Anthem: The ‘59 Sound.

26 – Billy Bragg & Wilco: Mermaid Avenue Vol. II

25 – Richard Hawley: Coles Corner.

24 – Fleet Foxes: Fleet Foxes.

23 – Athlete: Vehicles & Animals.

22 – Spin Doctors: Nice Talking To Me.

21 – Sigur Ros: Takk…

20 – Goldfrapp: Felt Mountain.

19 – Maxïmo Park: A Certain Trigger.

18 – Delirious?: Glo.

17 – The Shins: Wincing The night Away.

16 – Ben Folds: Rockin’ The Suburbs.

15 – Green Day: American Idiot.

14 – Neil Young: Living With War.

13 – Ray Lamontagne: Til The Sun Turns Black.

12 – Death Cab For Cutie: Narrow Stairs.

11 – Idlewild: The Remote Part.

10 – Johnny Cash: American IV: The Man Comes Around

An extraordinary achievement for a man in his final year. Johnny Cash’s last ‘proper’ album has the power to bring me to the edge of tears. I bought it the week he died in 2003 and played it a lot. A mixture of originals and covers, Rick Rubin’s brilliant production means there’s pathos dripping from every track. ‘Hurt’ is one of the songs of the decade which couldn’t even be ruined by that dire Nike advert. When I first heard ‘I Hung My Head’ it stopped me dead in my tracks. Just like most of the rest of this awesome album.

9 - Interpol: Turn On The Bright Lights.

I think there’s a good case to be made for Interpol as the band of the decade. To my shame I’m yet to see them live but their three dark, brooding and melodic albums demand that I get round to it soon. I think their debut is the pick of the bunch. Starting with ‘Untitled’ which takes its cues from the shoegazing bands of the early 90’s, the album goes onto channel the best of My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division and classic Krautrock. I suppose it can be said about all the records in the list but I can’t listen to this album too many times. It sends me to sleep, it wakes me up and generally soundtracks my life.

8 – Vampire Weekend: Vampire Weekend.

The drums alone deserve some kind of award. Chris Tomson is, for my money, the best drummer in a rock band at the moment. But this isn’t Keith Moon fury, or John Bonham theatrics. He sees the drum kit as a melodic and harmonic instrument. The kit is a lead instrument here and when allied to fantastic songwriting, it’s a winning combination. The African influence if overstated (this isn’t even the noughties’ Graceland, let alone Fela Kuti or Ali Farka Touré). However, the hints of afrobeat are enough to make this stand out from the crowd. Walcott is a great track – but there aren’t any duds here.

7 – Grandaddy: The Sophtware Slump.

This outstanding record is often compared favourably with ‘OK Computer’. Well, I’ll put my cards on the table. There’s only one winner; and it isn’t Radiohead. Grandaddy are impossible to categorise, but this record combines the best bits of alt-country, electronica and post-rock. The audacity of a 9 minute opening track has been matched by many bands. The difference is they’ve not made a song as arresting as ‘He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s The Pilot’. ‘The Crystal Lake’ is among the best songs of the decade while ‘Undreneath The Weeping Willow’ showcases a brilliant knack for melancholy. Released at the start of the decade, very few records have got anywhere near matching Grandaddy’s Magnum Opus.

6 – The Hold Steady: Boys And Girls in America.

‘Best bar band in the world blah… blah… blah’ said the music press. Talk about damning with faint praise. The Hold Steady are one of the greatest bands of the 21st Century, full stop. And though their earlier albums are packed with gems, this breakthrough album sees their manifesto fulfilled. How many bands could start a record quoting Jack Kerouac but never fail to be fun? The sound was compared to classic E Street Band and that’s probably as close as you can get to describing this joyous racket. Craig Finn’s lyrics are always interesting and frequently brilliant. So looking at our checklist we’ve got superb music, superb lyrics and some guys that seem delighted just to be playing rock and roll. It’ll do for me.

5 – Elbow: The Seldom Seen Kid.

I suppose too much has already been written about this album. It’d be easy to include ‘Asleep In The Back’ to prove I’ve liked Elbow since I used to play them on student radio in 2000. But that would miss the point: for once, the awards committees, journalists and hype-merchants got it right. This is an amazing album. There’s not an average track in sight in an hour’s running time. Picking highlights almost seems crazy, but ‘Grounds For Divorce’ and ‘On A Day Like This’ have deservedly grabbed the headlines and soundtracked a million daytime DIY programmes. But some of the less well know tracks contain stunning music and lyrics. When Guy Garvey croons ”We kiss like we invented it” on ‘Mirrorball’ it’s enough to melt your heart. We await their next move with eager anticipation.

4 - Midlake: The Trials of Van Occupanther.

Take a moderately successful Texan indie band and give them a copy of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’. Stand well back and light the blue touch-paper. Doesn’t sound promising does it? How wrong could we be??? This was THE album of 2006. Inventive harmonies, layered synths and lyrics pining for the antebellum South came together to produce a stunning record. The guitar solo that comes halfway through ‘Head Home’ is one of my favourite musical moments of the decade, but this album contains several contenders for that title. The real genius of ‘…Van Occupanther’ is its ability to keep you on your toes. Just when you think it may slip into mid 70’s FM rock pastiche, the band pulls out a track like ‘Young Bride’ which forces you to admit this is a record which is far more than the sum of its considerable parts.

3 – Damien Rice: O.

David Gray is a perfectly decent singer songwriter. The same can’t be said for the likes of James Morrison and James Blunt. But how any of them came to be spoken of in the same breath as Damien Rice is beyond me. The irishman deserves to be in far better company (Jeff Buckley for example). This debut album was a slow-burning word-of-mouth behemoth that managed to retain artistic dignity while being offered on 2-for-1 deals in Tesco. Its strengths have been repeated endlessly, but any blogger who can’t find room for Lisa Hannigan’s beautiful vocals, the stunning string arrangements or the strange re-working of Silent Night is a fool. If this album has a flaw, I’m yet to find it. I can’t pick one track as a highlight because the others simply look at me reproachfully and say ‘actually we’re all rather lovely’. And they truly are.

2 – My Morning Jacket: It Still Moves.

This album sounds like the best party you’ve ever been to. If you want to label it I suppose it’s alt-country. But what on earth does that matter when the music is as much fun as this? Don’t get the idea this is some kind of comedy record though. Howling vocals, squealing guitars and pounding drums fuse together to create a brilliant racket. ‘One Big Holiday’ has a guitar hook to die for, but this isn’t an album of simple pleasures. The genius of the songs reveals itself slowly. The first time you hear it, it sounds like these are well crafted and edited jams. But like Led Zep at their peak, the tracks are more cunningly moulded than that. Crazy Horse are another reference point and when talking about a rock and roll band there are fewer bigger compliments than that. It’s a long record (71 minutes) but unusually for an album of that length, it doesn’t outstay its welcome. Superb.

1 – Stephen Fretwell: Magpie.

I’m annoyed I couldn’t find a decent picture of this album without the parental advisory sticker on it. Ok, maybe it doesn’t make an ideal present for a toddler, but any parent who’s doing their job properly should be investing in this if their child shows any kind of serious interest in music. It’s as close to a perfect record as its possible to get. At the start of the decade, Scunthorpe’s Stephen Fretwell found himself in Manchester as a promising singer-songwriter. A little while later, he was in a recording studio creating some of the most beautiful music that great city has ever produced. By 2004 it was ready for release. In reality, the Manchester thing is a bit of a red herring. Fretwell owes little to the genius of the Smiths and Joy Division or the more prosaic talents of Oasis. He’s just a good old-fashioned acoustic troubadour. So who are the key influences here? I’d guess Neil Young, Bob Dylan et al. But that doesn’t tell you much about this record’s greatest strength. Fretwell’s gift for melody is astounding. Songs like ‘Emily’, ‘New York’ and ‘Rose’ are beautifully crafted and sung. But there isn’t a track here which leaves you cold. You may know ’Run’ as the Theme of ‘Gavin and Stacey’ but don’t stop there. Investigate it immediately. Buy it and love it. There’s only one album of the decade after all; whatever the Observer says!

So I know we decided to call this a celebration and despite The Annie Lennox Collection, riding high

So I know we decided to call this a celebration and despite The Annie Lennox Collection, riding high in the charts, we should also be feeling sorry for hits albums because apparently it’s a dying formula. The advent of mp3 downloads making back catalogues available song-by-song has led to a veritable pick n’ mix attitude to slowly take over and before long, hits records will be banished to musical no-man’s land along with the Zavvi in Piccadilly Circus, CD singles and audiophiles.

But my up-until-recent vendetta against these best-ofs hasn’t been without reason. For one, I consider myself a mild completist; the long-standing arch nemeses of the hits album that’s already wallowing in no-man’s land. So when you already own everything the artists of your affection have released, a cheeky compilation album with one new track is just a nuisance. The whiz kid marketing strategist who started that behaviour is on my hit-list.

Then there are those too quick to release their greatest hits, like throw-away reality stars who ‘write’ autobiographies when they’re not even past their quarter-life crisis.

There are so many factors to a bad greatest hits albums that I thought I would compile a list [did I mention my penchant for lists?] of the worst offenders: the infuriating, the unnecessary and the unworthy can all be found below.

D’Angelo: The Best So Far

“Hey guys, D here. James River will be out soon, I promise. But in the meantime buy this compilation of the measly two albums I’ve managed to release within the last 16 years…oh and I threw in a few random songs so you wouldn’t get too mad at me for this bullshit.”

Call it what you like D, this ‘best so far’ is dick-teasing crap. If I have to record your third album myself…

ABBA: Gold

Yes, ABBA are entitled to a hits compilation considering the ridiculous amount of popular tunes they have. But when there are so many ABBA collections, albeit under different guises, that you could build a small city out of them then I object. Imagining that city gives me the shivers. It would be like a never-ending hen party in polyester flares.

The Boomtown Rats: The Best Of

Who are these dudes kidding? I’m pretty sure they only released one song; six albums must be a figment of Geldof’s imagination. So apparently ‘Rat Trap’ also went to number one but even if it did, there is no excuse for the amount of Boomtown Rats’ hit compilations that this Best Of is just one example of.

Spin Doctors: The Best Of

If you’re consistently showing up on one hit wonder collections, you’re probably not entitled to a Best Of. And it’s not even like the Spin Doctors were this really great band that we should’ve discovered more of. ‘She Used to Be Mine’ or ‘Cleopatra’s Cat’ aren’t bad but they’re not ‘Two Princes’, so we’re inclined not to care.

Fugees: Greatest Hits

If this album is in your collection, you are not only lazy but also the biggest false economist on the block. The Fugees only released two albums, and a quick gander on Amazon has informed me that you can buy both of them for less than this farcical compilation. This is one of the sickest hip hop outfits from the 90s, go the extra mile.

Shakespear’s Sister: The Best Of

Three albums, only one that produced anything hit-worthy and yet they still feel the need to compile. Maybe life is too precious to waste it figuring out what could be considered Shakespear’s best, or not?. We could’ve donated the time to worthy causes like ending world poverty or curing cancer. Because if anyone is still hampering to hear ‘Stay’ they can buy Hormonally Yours and then regret it afterwards.

New Kids on the Block: Greatest Hits

For the cover alone, this album gets full marks: the music notation cardigan, the pseudo-quiffs and stonewashed jeans; just brilliant. But re-re-re-releases are like that boy who cried wolf; one day we just won’t listen anymore.

Creed: Greatest Hits

Let’s just be bold: Creed are pretty awful. The affectations of Scott Stapp’s singing voice and the sameness of all their music make for pretty dire listening. And there’s only a handful of bands that can get away with the amount of sickly, power guitar solos that Creed sneak in at every opportunity. Didn’t Poison even copyright that shit?

Vanilla Ice: The Best Of

The theme seems to be that if you know you’re not worthy of having a greatest hits album you call it a Best Of. Don’t be fooled by this, I know it makes you feel like you’re missing out on some of Vanilla’s bests, like really he was a genius with hidden hip hop classics. But, trust me, you’re not.

Blue: Best Of

Their biggest hit is a bad cover of another song and their three albums were all released over three consecutive years, so we’re pretty sure they were not in it for the art. But so as to not scapegoat Blue when so many countless pop acts are guilty of this quick release crime, here are a few other offenders: Jason Donovan, Hilary Duff, Five and Atomic Kitten.

Joey received an sms,’Is any political problem unsolvable..?” Read the article in Malays

Joey received an sms,’Is any political problem unsolvable..?” Read the article in Malaysiakini and in it the Prime Minister Najib has instructed/mandate given to his deputy Muhyddin to tackle the issue and come up with a solution.” Wow! Goodness me! MCA can’t solved their own problems and it seems only interference and assistance from a Third party will see that this problem does not drag on.

The full article from Malaysiakini:-

Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said he is giving himself one week to find a solution to the MCA leadership crisis.

He said a formula would be drawn up during that period to reach a consensus among the disputing party leaders.

He said a series of meetings had been held with several party leaders to discuss the crisis in greater detail.

“The task is not easy because it involves the interest of the party as well as that of the nation,” he told reporters.

He said he was given the mandate by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to tackle the problem by implementing pro-active measures as soon as possible to prevent the crisis from becoming worse.

“I’ve held a series of discussion, not with everyone, but certain individuals and I will continue with the discussion, if possible before the prime minister returns home (from abroad).

“At the same time, I’ll continue to accept suggestions from the Chinese community leaders who have also voiced their opinion and observation on the crisis,” he said.

The deputy premier’s remark comes five days ahead of the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) proposed by the faction aligned to vice-president Liow Tiong Lai.

Liow and his supporters have vowed to call off the EGM if the rival faction, headed by president Ong Tee Keat and his deputy Dr Chua Soi Lek, agree to holding fresh party elections next month.

Although conceding that a fresh elections is the best panacea for the impasse, Chua however wants the contest to be held next March while Ong has remained vague on this.

‘Win-win’ situation

Meanwhile, Muhyiddin said the crisis must be tackled in the best manner possible to arrive at a ‘win-win’ situation for everyone concerned.

Commenting on the measures to be taken, the Barisan Nasional deputy chairperson, said he had no intention of disclosing any condition or strategy until the settlement formula had been achieved.

“In the initial stage, we don’t want to set any condition. I feel the important thing is that they feel the measures that would be taken are aimed at resolving the problem and I feel, it has become a public secret, not a party secret any more. Everyone knows about it.

“What is important is that at this stage, I will not set any condition. What is certain is that when it comes to a particular stage, there is an agreement in principle. So, we want them to uphold the decision with the objective of reaching a settlement,” he said.

He said the matter would not be announced to the public, including the media for as long as the objective had not be achieved.

“At this stage, it’s okay because it is still at the initial stage but subsequent measures would be disclosed when everyone have reached a consensus on what needs to be done,” he said.

Asked on Najib’s suggestion that a fresh election be held by the MCA to resolve the conflict. Muhyiddin said that was the view of the prime minister which he was working on.

“I was instructed to adopt this approach, but I will find a way of getting the consensus of the MCA leaders.

“Time is rather limited and the faster the better, because if the conflict drags for several more months, the situation will become worse and will affect MCA and the BN itself,” he said

It’s the worst of the worst,” Toronto Liberal MP Joe Volpe (Eglinton-Lawrence). “This is totally misleading, it’s false … and it basically seeks to associate the Liberal party with anti-Semitism.
“The Liberal party has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the state of Israel since 1948 and to assert otherwise is outrageous,” he said. “They’re sending this into ridings with Jewish communities, they’re sending it into ridings represented by MPs who happen to be Jewish and they’re making outrageous allegations about the party” Michael Ignatieff WHO jumped all over a Tory flyer suggesting the Official Opposition is anti-Israel. The two-page promotional piece chastises Ignatieff for past statements and links the Liberals to anti-Semitic positions. It also accuses the Liberals of participating in a United Nations anti-racism conference that degenerated into an anti-Israeli “hatefest” and being soft on Hezbollah and Hamas. The Conservatives also question Ignatieff’s support for Israel, referring to comments the Liberal leader made following the 2006 war in Lebanon accusing Israel of war crimes. Winnipeg South Centre MP Anita Neville, who is Jewish, said the flyer is a scurrilous misrepresentation of the facts. “I find it demeaning of a government and of a prime minister. It’s part of this ‘divide and conquer’, narrow-edged politics that he does,” said Neville. “I’m offended by it personally and collectively on behalf of the Liberal party. It is full of blatant misinformation and lies.” http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/local/liberals-stand-by-israel-ignatieff-70447797.html

Another false Conservative diversionary smoke and mirror approach by Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his thugs, who did not object to the Christians in Lebanon being murdered though by Israel. Pointing out rightfully Israel war crimes is not being anti Semitic too. Harper knows that many Jews have supported the Liberals cause Liberals rightfully support the Jews right to exists. I too cannot endorse separating any ethnic or religious group in order to leverage political support. Harper also is playing a dangerous game, the number of voting Muslims in Canada exceeds the number of Jews

A new page in Conservative narrow-casting has the Liberals crying foul. Using the free-mail privileges of MPs, the Conservatives are sending out flyers to ridings with large Jewish communities, arguing they are committed to Canada’s Jewish Community and the Liberals are not. The leaflets argue the Conservatives have done more to fight anti-Semitism abroad, fight terrorism and support Israel than the Liberals. It asks recipients, “Who is on the right track to represent and defend the values of Canada’s Jewish Community,” and to choose the answer from the names of the four major-party leaders. So far, according to Liberals, they have been spotted in mailboxes in four opposition-held ridings, all of which have large Jewish populations: Montreal’s Outremont and Pierrefonds-Dollard ridings, and Toronto’s Eglinton-Lawrence, and Winnipeg South Centre. In political parlance, that’s called narrow-casting: aiming a message at one community or demographic, rather than the population art large. “I think it is the most scandalous and scurrilous misuse I’ve ever seen of parliamentary privilege and taxpayers’ dollars, to divide a community and to pit one community against another,” said Liberal Joe Volpe, the MP for Eglinton-Lawrence. Labelling the Liberals, including Jewish MPs who have spent their careers fighting anti-Semitism like Irwin Cotler, as “willing participants” in anti-Semitism is outrageous, he said. He noted that the leaflet says Liberals asked for Hezbollah to be de-listed as a terrorist organization when it was a former Liberal government that put the organization on the terror list; the fact that a Liberal MP “mused” that it might be de-listed does not make that the Liberal Party’s position, Mr. Volpe argued

One inappropriate graffiti on a Jewish Center wall in Calgary Alberta makes the national news of Canada.. many Palestinian homes torn down in Israel makes very little news, What real unacceptable Hypocrisy. Peace in the middle east is never possible but it is not just the Arabs but the Jews themselves clearly who are part of the unacceptable problem. None of this is politically correct.

I do believe some persons are wrongfully deliberate racists and they should be punished for it. Many persons are unintentionally racists and often they see the false racist act of others and become accomplices rather in the matter by not speaking out against it. Some persecution in life is unavailable it seems. But nevertheless it is also true that if a person wants to have friend, they must work at it, they must show themselves friendly, and personal friendship costs some sacrifices too, friendship and respect are generally not automatic, they have to be earned it seems as well. But we must all have enforced human rights, the right to education, to live, to work, freedom to speak and to be heard, freedom of religion as well.

AP JERUSALEM — Israel’s hawkish Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has again ignored US calls to halt settlements, as the Palestinian leadership, backed by its Arab allies, demand a halt as a condition for talks. Israel broke ground on a new housing complex for Jews in east Jerusalem on Wednesday, brushing off President Barack Obama’s criticism that construction in the disputed part of the holy city undermines efforts to relaunch Mideast peace talks. The groundbreaking came a day after Israel defied American, European and Palestinian demands to stop settlement activity by announcing it will press forward with construction of 900 apartments in another Jewish area in east Jerusalem. Obama criticized the plan to build hundreds of homes in Jerusalem’s Gilo neighborhood, saying such moves make it harder to achieve peace in the region and embitter the Palestinians in a way he said could be dangerous. The Palestinians claim the West Bank and east Jerusalem — areas captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war — for their hoped-for state and have refused negotiations until Israel stops settlement construction in these areas. The Palestinians say the continued growth of settlements on land they claim will make it impossible for them to establish a viable country of their own. Israel plans to build 900 new homes in Gilo, one of a dozen Jewish settlements in the eastern part of the Holy City, which Israel has annexed in a move not recognized by the international community.

Israel clearly does not want to negotiate peace, it prefers more land conquest by wars..

I really do disagree we should run away from our persecutors, or the bullies, I do instead believe with my whole heart we should stand up against them, yell rape for the whole world to hear and call the police, report it to the government, and I do practice it too.Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks, persons, civil and public servants, politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

MAD, QUITE MAD is what you will be if you give yourself over to the views, advice domination of others. Better learn how to hear God’s voice, and accept his guidance, and be free from the depressors.

(Lev 25:10 KJV) And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.(Psa 119:45 KJV) And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

30 percent of the people I meet daily in real life are the bad guys that jails exist for still too.. and they should be put in there often too. Now in Canada even I am very used to people the much too many Bullies who try to falsely dominate you, and these bullies go overboard in their reactions when you expose the truth about them and others especially when their pet idols, or careers are threatened. Me I am still rightfully actively resistant to all of the abusers, bullies, liars, even to the Church, GOVERNMENTAL, CORPORATE, POLICE oppressions still too.

I clearly do believe in the right of everyone to speak, to speak out as well, and to be equally heard by all, so we can all judge what has been said if it is appropriate and we can next corresponding act upon it, even in the church, in the government, on the internet now too. Clearly some people falsely DO DISALLOW THIS RIGHT… the bad persons especially as even I know this for sure. They respond with a personal attack, inquisition, censorship, lies, slanders, diversions, distortions, instead of facing, dealing with the facts, truths being presented. Confirming to many what they still are really like, immoral, abusive bullies.

When I see this kind of unacceptable personal behavior I too do not accept it but do loudly object to it to all and do ask these hate mongrels be immediately fired, put in jail as well. No matter who they are now too.

(Isa 61:1 KJV) The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; (Jer 34:8 KJV) This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;(Jer 34:15 KJV) And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:

(Jer 34:16 KJV) But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

(Jer 34:17 KJV) Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

If we are honest with ourselves, we might admit that such authoritarianism abuses even may exist in our own backyards.

Sometimes this false domination attempt is subtle and other time it is blatant. A yoke in the OT could mean bondage, enslavement or servitude to another leader other than God. God breaks the yoke of bondage from the enemy so we can be yoked to him.

I still cannot help but notice that a certain segment of every society, bad self-righteous persons who to compensate for their poor self image, poor self worth, or even an over inflated ego, self worth they in a sinful pride too they do try to put others under their sinful bondage, even to still wrongfully deny their human rights and their equal rights of free speech, to equally express themselves, to be equally heard too.

The Exodus account describes the condition of Israel, which God saw and knew, and out of which Israel cried to God, because of their bondage – enslavement – slavery AND YET ONE CANNOT BUT NOTICE HOW THEY WERE ALSO NEXT SO READY TO ENSLAVE THEIR FELLOW BROTHERS AND GOD WAS REALLY UPSET AT THIS.

Leviticus, 25:39 If your brother becomes impoverished with regard to you so that he sells himself to you, you must not subject him to slave service. 25:40 He must be with you as a hired worker, as a resident foreigner; he must serve with you until the year of jubilee, 25:41 but then he may go free, he and his children with him, and may return to his family and to the property of his ancestors. 25:42 Since they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt, they must not be sold in a slave sale. 25:43 You must not rule over him harshly, but you must fear your God.

I have always wondered besides Satan himself as to the original source of this perverse, degenerated human domination attitude, unacceptable abuse, approach. This enslavement attempt occurs too often now too now even not just in the despotic churches, despotic governments, despotic police, in the civil and public services, but it is carried out even by so so called professionals in corporations, schools, universities too where these control freaks, bullies, slave drivers do want to dominate falsely their wills and desires upon others.

But I know clearly that the solution to this approach is public exposure of the abusers in a very loud voice so everyone can hear about it too. For God himself still does not accept these abuses for sure. I have also learned a long time ago that public exposure and prosecution of the abusers serves everyone’s best interests,

Updated: 3.50pm-

MCA Women’s wing chief Chew Mei Fun and Youth wing chief Wee Ka Siong made tearful appeals for delegates to turn up at the Nov 28 extraordinary general meeting to press for fresh party polls.

During a press conference shortly after being dropped from the party’s party presidential council, the duo, in between tears, said that a strong showing at the EGM was vital to restore democracy in the party.

The dramatic press conference began with vice-president Liow Tiong Lai stating that the group’s “heart bled” following the axing of nine individuals from the council.

“MCA is a family at war and is presently engaged in the politics of slash and burn… it has disowned the Youth and Women’s wing chiefs. This is a serious matter and it has broken the camel’s back,” said Liow.

He said party president Ong Tee Keat had replaced the dropped presidential council members with his own men.

He claimed that Ong had axed detractors in order to have “absolute power”.

He then urged party delegates to “rise up” and attend the EGM in full force to pass the resolutions.

Liow, looking stern but composed, did not cry during the press conference.

Earlier today the party’s central committee voted to object the EGM called by Liow’s faction.

Natasha of audie61 received an sms from a former colleague in Malaysiakini that-”MCA CC rejects EGM2“ .Where does this road lead to for Liow and rebel group. Just then she remembered an SPDP SC member who said this,”PRS are trying to get rid of Chinese members while SPDP is welcoming them.”

Also SPDP plans to go National and what an opportunity for the MCA rebels who will obviously sooner rather than later be sent to a very “FREEZING COLD ROOM” Is there any room for them in SPDP..?? This will erase another headache from Najib and the cabinet.

The full report we reposts for all:-

The MCA central committee headed by party president Ong Tee Keat today rejected the call made by a minority group in the CC for an extraordinary general meeting on Nov 28.

The central committee said the proposed EGM and its resolutions calling for a fresh party polls were defective and against the party constitution.

The decision to reject the EGM was made after the matter was put to a vote in which 23 voted against the EGM, 10 supported it and two abstained.

The EGM was mooted by a faction backing vice-president Liow Tiong Lai. They are opposed to the greater unity plan undertaken by Ong and his rival-turned-ally Dr Chui Soi Lek.

The CC meeting also decided to revamp the powerful presidential council, resulting in Liow loyalists Youth chief Wee Ka Siong and Women’s wing chief Chew Mei Fun being dropped.

They were replaced by Ong and Chua’s backers.

In an immediate reaction, Liow said that he was unhappy with the party’s decision to remove his supporters from the presidential council.

So SPDP be ready to open up your doors for these MCA Ministers plus Deputy Ministers and you will be a major player in the country too. It is something really worth considering as the political climate is so fluid at the moment.

What gag order that James Masing has ordered to his PRS army will not deter SUPP from having a go at

What gag order that James Masing has ordered to his PRS army will not deter SUPP from having a go at PRS says a Professor with a Local University. Very simple,Taib has not forgotten how Masing has backstabbed and had the open confrontation with him during the height of the Dayakism era.

This is the opportune time to use SUPP to have a right go at James. Its PRS who started the fight and the SUPP towkays are not exactly very happy and they will use their hatchet man to bleed PRS dry. Excuse me for using such harsh words as someone needs to shake and rattle PRS as they seem to have forgotten where the $$$$$$ came from to start the party. Short memory and this will surely see to a demise.

SUPP has nothing to fear as what they have asks for on the additional Assistant Ministership has fallen on deaf ears. Time to pick a hole or two on PRS and show to CM Taib that SUPP is still relevant and not the punching bag for DAP.

Even Affendi Jeman who now wears two caps and has lost some credibility being protem Chairman of ARBS and JPUNS says that they will assist SUPP in whatever ways possible to ensure that losts seats are won back by the BN coalition.

SUPP is bankrolled by a number of big and established giants in the business/economic world and PRS needs to watch what they say. Even a small fry and untested leader like Youth Chief Sih Hua Tong can get James to come out an issue a “GAG ORDER” James is of course trying to preserve his own position but his mouth pieces are actually playing the “DOUBLES GAME“

CM Taib is very aware that at any time PRS as a party minus a few CM loyalists Yang Berhormats might leave the coalition at the eleventh hour before the state elections. It has happened before an PBS(Party Bersatu Sabah) has done it.

The KM1 and KM2 has failed but a yardstick could be how Lim Kit Siang failed in Penang and today who is the CM of Penang. Does audie 61 need to write it out and spell it out here. James is really under the wings of CM Taib and soon he will try to find a gap to manouvere and the timing is vital to succeed.

He needs to win back his dignity and as one PBB Senior member said James was a new breed of special politician when he first appeared on the scene. Somehow he has losts his way and out when the struggles that he steadfastly held in his palm and next to his chests.

James has reached 60 and soon if Winston Churchill is his mentor at 62 who was elected the Prime Minister of Britain. What is his famous slogan,” ”Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never – in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never, Never, Never, Never give up.’

History will rewrite itself and James has of course that ambition and his able lieutenants has even met up with opposition leaders on number of occasion before 916. Who doesn’t want to be Chief Minister of Sarawak..? Don’t you if given that chance..? Seriously,if not you should not be reading any more political blogs and just read entertainment news…hmmm.

PRS on coalition with SUPP. No surprises here as PRS leaders are not exactly sharing the same ideals and respect for each other. Even a SC member of PRS once said to me openly,’SUPP should look over their shoulders as PRS has equal number of legislators in the State” Don’t over exploit the situation and PRS with so many former PBDS legislators will not give in so easily and for that matter bullied by SUPP. I was taken aback and I realise that with enough support and power there is nothing that PRS fears.

CM has seen that very clearly and that is why he uses Larry Sng (partyless Assistant Minister) to the maximum. Wouldn’t James if he was the CM of Sarawak use this tactic of DIVIDE AND RULE. He has learnt from the bests and he will surely unleash all that he has kept in his heart and strengthen his position.

PRS has already done her housekeeping and there are only a few loose ends to tighten the noose around SOME NECKS and James will just push his finger and the automatic lieutenants will give their all.

There is no point anymore for James and his troops to go underground but to fight the war on a level playing field and attack the coalition partners without FEAR and taking out the hatchet man in the respective parties. There are too many HIDDEN HANDS involved in this battle and PRS will know whatever they do they have already been booby trapped.

Politics has a way of reengineering itself and soon we shall see whether the path of collision is averted. Nothing is won easily and only when blood is shed one would appreciate the struggles…………

On ho acabaran fent?

Its in the news again. Affendi Jeman protem chairman has sent the applications in for registering A

Its in the news again. Affendi Jeman protem chairman has sent the applications in for registering Agenda Rakyat Bumiputera Sarawak(ARBS) He was quick to point out to audie61 on the phone that there are indeed certain quarters in Sarawak who opposed the formation of the party.

There are voices who even said,”Ingin.ingin jadi YB tetapi Kacau Daun saja” and a close associate even said that he has heard from various sources that “Affendi is now very indecisive as he is seen wearing two caps now( protem chairman of JPUNS too-Jawatankuasa penaja UMNO Negeri Sarawak.)

audie61 asks Affendi,”Why just Bumiputera only?” The reason being that there are a lot of Chinese mixed ethnic races who feels that they would be deprived of this new political platform. This is the rallying call of Sarawakians at the moment. It was this statement ,”we ,as a “penaja”(promoters) of ARBS,believe only the rakyat of Sarawak have the right to analyse and decide the future of ARBS.

He was tongue tied for a moment but as a politician he wriggled out of it and said that we will AMEND THE CONSTITUTION to suit the people/voters. Mixed parentage constitute to a very largepercentage of the total population of Sarawak and they will determine whether you are able to win the seat or not.

If ARBS is given the legal rights to start a party by ROS they will go on the ground and inform the people of their vision, mission and struggle. Of course we would even try to coax Rayong and Adit if their intentions are similar to us. That was when the brainwaves worked overtime as we spoke on local politics involving SUPP and PRS for the time being. There are no clear cut solutions to problems besetting human beings or parties but it is in the bests interests of the whole TEAM if all is well and solved constructively.

Fancy this-Its just food for thought to the BN Sarawak government in putting together the YB rebels into one camp and let them look after the 4 constituencies. (Dudong,Ngemah,Engkilili and Pelagus) Whats wrong with just one swing of the pen the ROS will register the party on the advice of the Chief Minister.

There has been too much bickering amongst the component parties and even now the Youth Chief of SUPP Sih Hua Tong is being dragged into the picture. It will get ugly as if this virus is not stopped it will escalate out of control.

Nothing concrete on the matter of SARS party being put together just yet. Larry on his part as a very accomodative YB and looking at the bigger picture then has met up with Adit and Johnicol Rayong during the PRS crisis period to lure them into BN/PRS. Stop of shortchanging anyone Dr.Soon would be an appropriate leader for this entity SARS as it will enable SUPP to stop all this nonsensical bickering and infighting between the leaders which has seen the Chinese support waning and SUPP might just be wiped out in the next State elections.

WHY SARS- initally the founding members will be the various YBS names which are Soon,Adit,Rayong and Sng. This is to prevent any arguments on who should lead the party as Dr.Soon will head the party with Adit as Deputy, Rayong as Senior Vice President and Larry as Secretary General. The other positions will be filled by each YB contributing 6 names each which will see a full Supreme Council be put in place when the ROS approves the registration of SARS-Party It will be appropriately be known as Sarawak Alliance Reforms Socialist Party.

The virus will have gone one full circle and now we are more attune to H1N1. It is indeed a solution which the cM might just be considering which we are not aware of. However audie61 have had the benefit of even talking about swapping seats earlier and also a Borneo Party. This might just turn out to be a reality and some smses sent out to various component party members have received very positive responses and they are looking forward to whether it will MATERIALISE.

Nothing is impossible in politics and strange bedfellows have emerged as sleeping under one roof.

Updated:- The Home Ministry is renewing The Herald’s permit for publication and says that it

Updated:-

The Home Ministry is renewing The Herald’s permit for publication and says that it was not revoked and that the renewal of its permit for 2010 is being processed.

A ministry official was quoted as saying that “there was never an issue of revoking the permit for The Herald.”

He told news portal Malaysiakini that the last letter sent to The Herald in September was a notification that the application to publish in the Kadazandusun language was not approved, and that a refund of the permit fee could be made.

He said that the reason for the directive for the refund was that The Herald had paid its fees too early.

He said that the ministry will only process the permit three months before the old permit expires, as in this case it is in January 2010.

In all our family gatherings we have always avoided two very important subjects:- 1. Religion 2. Politics. Our family has very large followings of various faiths be it Islam,Christianity and Buddhism. Also there will be some who does show some sympathy and align themeselves to the oppostion no matter what/who comes into power. They just love to be on the opposite camps. In order to keep the peace these two subjects are considered,” Taboo ” but of course there are some who just chooses to strike that “MATCH”.

The elders in the family like party veterans are quick to douse the arguments and put the centre finger on their lips and say “Ssshhh” and also “Stop It.” But will all families in Malaysia be just like ours where we follow a very regimented procedure and do not engage head-on with the elders. Certainly, there are families who sees that Religion is certainly a flash point for them to push their political agenda.

The Eastern States of Sarawak and Sabah has a very big following of Christian Faith. There is already the big issues which has provided an arsenal for the opposition examples of which are the concerns of Sarawak Bumiputra,Penans,Corruption and a lists of misdeeds.

Another highly sensitive issue ..Pleeeaaasss..this touchy business of the Catholic Herald will throw in the spanner of all BN good work over 45 years in Sarawak and Sabah. The catholics are very powerful businessman and legislators in East Malaysia and with one touch of the button they might just turn the screw on BN’s safe bastion into a battleground.

Hasn’t someone or a Hidden Hand undermine Najibs 1Malaysia concept and treated it as a mere rhetoric…?????

Even MCA has this article which we will reposts and if audie61 does not/cannot send a signal to the HOME MINISTRY maybe the MCA who itself is facing a crisis can do for the religious freedom of Malaysia. This is the article,”

KUALA LUMPUR – MCA has asked the government to reconsider its decision not to renew the permit of the weekly Catholic newspaper The Herald, saying it would be seen as stifling religious freedom.

“The action by the authorities is unconstitutional and totally unacceptable. It is counter-productive against initiating trust between religious bodies and the government,” said MCA spokesman Gan Ping Sieu here on Thursday.

“By denying The Herald’s permit renewal, the Home Ministry could be misconstrued as taking punitive action over the religious publication’s suit against the government on the usage restriction of the ‘Allah’ terminology.”

The Herald’s editor, Father Lawrence Andrew (pic), told AFP the ministry had cancelled the 2010 permit without giving any reason.

Permit approved, then retracted

The ministry had initially approved the publication’s permit renewal in a letter dated on Aug 3 but retracted it in another letter dated Sept 5.

The ministry should also allow the application for the publication of a section in the Kadasandusun language, said Gan, adding that Malaysians have the constitutional rights of freedom of worship.

“There should be no denying the rights of non-Muslims to read and practise matters regarding their faith in their own native language.”

“The seizure of Christian literature and Bibles by the authorities and disputes against judicial decisions involving conversions have all contributed towards the backlash against the Barisan Nasional government.”

Engage not alienate

What the government should do is engage Christian bodies instead of alienating them, said Gan, who is also MCA political education bureau chief.

Just as other religious-themed publications have been allowed to operate, Christians should not be denied their right to spiritual growth as The Herald is a means for Catholics to learn more about their faith, said Gan.

The Herald is printed in four languages and has a circulation of 14,000 copies a week. It is circulated among the country’s 850,000 Catholics.

If the Home Ministry can do that to the countrys catholics what chnces has other denominations have against the HOME MINISTRY bureaucrats. It’s enough to send shivers down the spine of those who believe in the countrys constitution of RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.

Sarawak and Sabah has a lot to lose out especailly for the BN government as the multi racial ethnic groups will not tolerate being pushed too far. It’s a WAKE UP CALL for the bureaucrats in the Home Minstry and the government departments to toe the line of this very fluid issue. BN will suffer for their actions if this is not checked and stopped. Enough said and we rests our case…………….

A friend and professional colleague e-mailed me this week with what she called a “blog-worthy

A friend and professional colleague e-mailed me this week with what she called a “blog-worthy” idea. While in the dentist’s chair, she asked the hygienist to share her biggest pet peeve. The hygienist said it’s when people text while getting their teeth cleaned.

Now, that bit of information doesn’t exactly fit the parameters of my blog. (It does, however, fit my friend Steve Crescenzo’s outrageous blog, Corporate Hallucinations; he wrote a funny — and R-rated — entry on a very similar subject recently. Reader’s Digest also has a fun recurring feature along these lines. For example, on their website they have “13 Things Your Mall Santa Won’t Tell You.”)

This all got me thinking about communicators. What “secrets” would we never tell our clients about the work we do or about their own communication practices?

Here’s a start. Help me build a longer list in the comments section.

1. We don’t look forward to being asked to write a column, a letter or a speech for you in senior management because we know our words will never be used anyway. It’s amazing that you even ask for communicators’ help with writing since you change most of it. Maybe you ask us just so you can tear our work apart. Maybe it makes you feel virile or something.

2. If you really wanted that column, letter or speech to sound great, you would spend a few minutes letting us interview you. This is probably the number one thing that would improve how your communications come across, but you and your peers rarely take advantage of it.

3. We will do anything we can to avoid getting Legal review of our work. Sometimes it seems the lawyer’s purpose in life is to make communications incomprehensible. If there is a way around Legal review, we will find it. If there is not, we will resign ourselves to the fact that our work will be unrecognizable and then we will find a way to keep our name from being associated with it.

4. You know how all the engineers / accountants / bureaucrats / lawyers / MBAs, etc., in our company look down their noses at us? We do the same to them. You see, we went to school, too — in most cases, to be a communicator. It’s as specialized a field as any of the others in our company and we know that not just anybody can do it well.

5. Sometimes when you make changes to our work, we change it back. If it was a significant change, we only change it back when we know we’re right and we’re willing to get in trouble for it. If it’s a minor change, such as placement of a comma, we do it just for the secret satisfaction.

6. When you buy communication consulting services from one of those gigantic HR consulting firms, you’re usually just throwing away your money. Those of us on staff can do what they do better and more efficiently. And we usually have more experience than the junior account executive they’ll assign to the job. If you must hire a consultant — for an outside perspective or for niche expertise — you’ll get a better value with an independent practitioner that we know.

7. We often laugh at your mission statements and value propositions. It’s not because we don’t think a mission or a value proposition is important. It’s because they are so poorly written that nobody knows what they mean.

8. We resent being called “spin doctors” or “wordsmiths.” These are derogatory terms in our business. Besides, they don’t begin to describe what we do.

9. We wish you executives would stop trying so hard and just be yourselves — unless your real self is the arrogant, stiff, unfeeling blowhard you portray in your written and face-to-face communications. But somehow we suspect that’s not the real you. And if you asked us, we could probably help the real you come through.

OK, readers. This is not an exhaustive list. Now it’s your turn. Add your “Secrets Communicators Will Never Tell You.”

N22 SEBUYAU (7549) Julaihi Narawi (BN-PBB) incumbent said in 2006 he sees a need for his constituenc

N22 SEBUYAU (7549) Julaihi Narawi (BN-PBB) incumbent said in 2006 he sees a need for his constituency to have more infrastucture developments in the form of basic amenities like electricity supply and phone lines. There is also an urgent need to make the people of Sebuyau realise the importance of education in raising their living standards.

audie61 has had the benefit of meeting up with the YB of this constituency on several occassions and he has come across as a likeable, reserved and approachable and works his talk. He has a degree in Literature from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia but come this State election he will once again cross swords with his common enemy.

In the last couple of elections he has withstood the challenge of Mohamad Akek of Keadilan and defeated his opponent with ease. It seems that in the last couple of weeks PKR has stepped up with their activites and has made certain inroads with former PBDS candidate stepping up a notch and up the ante. Former PBDS President and a supporter of PKR Daniel Tajem has even been spent a night in the kampong in providing a much needed boost for the opposition front.

Hornbill unleashed has come out with an article ” Whom shall we trusts.?” Audie61 swung into action and cornered one of those who stood on a PBDS ticket in 1991 against Julaihi. He said that the article is timely but PKR needs to really put things in order if they are serious in turning the bastion of BN over and create even a wave and let alone a tsunami of some sort.

He further reiterated that there should be in place all the small committees as what PBDS had in its quests in the infamous Ming Court Affair. Don’t forget that PBDS managed to wrestle 15 seats? A PKR stategists in Sarawak is putting in place the persons and the seats which the party hopes to make inroads and give BN more than a HEADACHE.

Anwar should trusts the PKR boys in Sarawak not to let him down this time round. Of course there were a lot of detractors and traitors especially from what we have learnt from the recent Lubok Antu by elections . PKR knows that Sarawak is a huge state and the economics of it all is that a substantial amount of money is needed to cover the costs of PKR candidates standing against BN.

PKR however needs to really do its ground work and whoever is chosen to face the might of the BN in each constituency needs to forego personal interests and ego to ensure the party win its allocated seat.

If and when the negative approach of the candidates who are not chosen and close ranks BN will still win big says the formr defeated candidate of N22. If the hierarchy of PKR says that Akek is the candidate I will stand behind him and ensure that Julaihi will not have it easy. If on the otherhand the PKR leadership sees that I am most suited to challenge I hope that Mohamad Akek will stand behind me. Afterall we are now together in the same team to wrestle this seat and unless we join forces Pakatans dream in Sarawak is just a mere HALLUCINATION AND A DISTANT DREAM.

The infighting according to a founder member of PKR needs to stop. He said that eventhough Anwar is giving all his strenght and direction in wrestling the Federal Government and has more or less entrusted it to Baru Bian as Sarawak liason chief Sarawak will only fall if the Fedral government caves in in the next 13th GE. The battle line is already drawn and Sarawak PKR needs to buck up or miss the boat when and if tere is a NEW DAWN3as what Anwar preaches.

The dayaks if united under PKR will be a major force and if divided into the various parties like PBB,SUPP,PRS and SPDP will remain forever be disunited. So will Anwar trusts the dayaks to come good he asked…???

The multi racial platform of PKR will be tested to its fullest in the next State elections and PKR leadership needs to look not only at N22 but also the rests of the 70 seats in hand and how to go into battle together with DAP,PAS and SNAP in the next State election. The two party system if approved would be an injection booster as the PLATFORM of a two party system would be in place. Its then up to the people to vote for their choice and no matter who the party fills the bond is an added strenght in itself.

N22 the incumbent YB Julaihi will know that he has his hands full and he will need all his experience to pull through as this battle will be his strongest yet as the opposition candidates are already willing to assist each other and win Sebuyau an add another feather for Anwars leadership. Najib and CM Taib will be watching closely the activities surrounding N22 and they will ensure that the incumbent has got his battle gear and machinery fully oiled.

For those of you who know what the drama is thats going on concerning me, Coleen, and a scumbag, I

For those of you who know what the drama is thats going on concerning me, Coleen, and a scumbag, I’m going to spare you any reiteration. If you dont know and you want to be caught up, you can check out www.buberella.wordpress.com for the full skinny….

Anyway, so first off, I posted Sleazy E’s email to us on Coleen’s blog, and here it is again…(I had to cut some of it out because he goes on to try and implicate someone who was totally innocent and who told us about him stealing it in the first place)

In an email to us yesterday, he says,:

well, i believe this is concerning the mermaid figure that i had taken. I for one had thought, since you guys were giving your stuff away or donating it cause you couldn’t pack anymore things for the journey to your new place, that i would take it …. I am sorry for thinking that that was the situation at your home that night. since i had been hearing that you guys were a. selling things. than b. giving things away ..i thought it would be fine.

SO YOU STUFF IT DOWN YOUR PANTS AND DONT SAY ANYTHING?? Here’s a survey question, if your good friends were moving 3,000 miles away, had a goodbye party and said we are giving stuff away, would you:

a) walk around and if you saw something you wanted ask your friends if you could have it?
b) wait until your friends pointed out the areas of the apartment that had stuff to be taken and then take something from there and show what you have before you just claim it as your definite bounty?
OR
c) find something thats all by itself on the stove, in a room that had nothing else we were getting rid of, and stuff it down your pants?

BUT THE BEST was our friend Berenice’s reaction (who also has known the douchebag for 10+ years and has been there, front and center, for many of the shit he has pulled and knows what kind of person he is and is an out and proud Erik hater). PRICELESS:

Omgosh, he fucking emailed you! He emailed you and got fucking snooty, like how dare you be fucking mad that he stole something of yours. Like you silly little girl, you asked for it. The email needs to be rewritten:

Dear Kristyn (Bitch),
Why are you talking smack about me cause I took a mermaid. It isn’t even that cool, I took it cause I wanted it at the time. I still would have taken it even if you didn’t want to give it to me. So stop going on about it not being up for grabs, look who you are talking to. Listen here lil lady, in this world, my world I get what I want, cigs, food, alcohol, hell even your girl. You will just have to live with it. I can’t believe you are telling people I am a thief just because I stole from you sheesh. Now I have to take time out from being worshiped to tell people what a sensitive baby you are. I am going to have to muster up some fake sincerity and convince people you and Coleen are again blowing things out of proportion and that she is in fact Satan, and you created the swine flu. I am so cool, my glasses will never fall off of my big nose. I got to go now, there is a party I am not invited to but there is this nice vintage book I have had my eye on for a while, that and men’s balls. Supress you laters, ho’s.

Two comments this week uttered to Natasha and Joey has got them all fired up.

Comment 1. Special Branch has inked audie61 as pro-opposition blog

Comment 2. A General Manager of an upcoming English media tabloid said,’Blogs ,Nothing comparable to main stream broadsheets.

Ooooh Wow! thats just way below the belt and how they can just make their opinions just to ruffle up a few feathers. Seems that there are too many pro-government mouth pieces and if there not balanced reporting mosts people would just switch off and disregard the writing or the opinions of those repective blogs. {Bump ..Dang and Out you go from the Favourites...}

What really is a blog..?? To clear up it once and for all lets just reposts this ,”

A blog (a contraction of the term “web log“)[1] is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries

Our informed source said to us over a cup of coffee at all places,”Secret Recipe-audie61 is an opposition blog. So judgemental and is that how they classify blogs and why don’t they just call the owner of the blog up instead of just on assumptions. Have they read all our 845 articles over the past 1 year.

May we remind them that audie61 was set up on May 1st 2008 and what was the first article. We will write and really dont give a “F%^&” if the news is of any significant and we do not take any political divide in our audie61 blog. Like our friend SKY said,’Tell them the ending of your story and fill them in instead of just giving them with a “PUZZLE TO SOLVE“.

How coincidental as it was last night that our source informed us and today there is an article in Hornbill Unleashed which is of a similar ‘genre” touching on blogs. There is a change in the media economics and the angle which mosts people see news is that the competition has already been hyped up that the editors or general managers of main stream suddenly are heavily pricked up their backsides.

They do not have the complacency now that people will buy their tabloids as the online cyber newstroopers are an edge faster and they do not mince their words. Are the editors ready for this war.

Hornbill unleashed has this which audie61 tend to agree and give it a THUMBS UP,” ‘The mainstream Malaysian media have reacted predictably, by turning up their own partisan volume, trying to drown out dissent, and trying to build up their own news websites. But the Utusan, the Star and the NST are poorly equipped to fight this virtual war. The KTS mouthpiece, the Borneo Post, and the Naim organ, the Eastern Times, are even worse off, and more laughable

The general manager was not too level headed and has an air of a bit too much on his shoulders. He needs to be more down to earth or else his tabloid would also be up in the ashes as “Rebranding doesn’t always ensure Success” Cockiness and Swimming amongst the Shark infested waters especially with BLOGGERS and other Main Stream Editors/General Manager in cohorts would certainly see the end and the exit door very wide open if the individual does not watch control his tongue.

So who is looking good? audie61 will continue to give their own opinion and we will not just hide behind but we will be focus to write our pieces without fear or favour to anyone but we will push for the truth as we know that the end would be near for those who keeps cementing the dirt underneath.

Information chief of PKR See Chee How does give us words of encouragement and also Chief Political Secrertary to CM Karim Hamzah who says to us alwayss get second opinions before posting and we have kept that in check. Even a former chief editor said to us that our writing needs to be exactly what people wants to read and not on speculations but spice it up with facts. Guess we have our own genuine followers and we treasure them.

Don’t worry BN/Pakatan we know where it hurts mosts and we will get to the bottom of it all. There are also those who are too afraid to even put their opinions on blogs but they criticise out loud thinking that the whole kingdom will fall down and cave in.

audie61 does not want to start pointing fingers because we do not believe in childishness and untruths. We are all blessed with intellectual properties and we will not have anyone telling us what we can and what we cant write. If its blog worthy we will ensure that we are amongst the first to “dessimate the information to the blogsphere.”

Our friend in the blogsphere sarawak update.com.my when we sms to him about audie61 being classified he said,’ Hahaha for real meh friend..??” He too is concern that there are too many bumps out there who are riding on others success. Are we fired up or what….???

The full article from Malaysiakini portal is copied in full for everyone to make their own respective opinions.

The Federal Court today dismissed ousted Menteri Besar Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin’s application for an enlarged panel of 11 judges to hear his crucial appeal.

Court of Appeal president Justice Alauddin Mohd Sheriff – who is leading a five-member bench – said this was an unanimous decision and made no order as to costs.

The decision has raised questions as the apex court had previously allowed a panel of seven judges to hear two drug cases.

Former Bar Council chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan, who is representing Nizar, had earlier submitted that an 11-member bench was necessary as this is a case of huge public interests and implications.

“It affects all the states and would also affect the Federal Constitution. The whole world is watching, academics and the man in the street, as this is a unique case,” she said.

However, attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail, who is acting as an intervener to help interpret the Perak and federal constitutions, said the application should not come by way of motion.

“It should come by way of judicial review,” he added.

In her submission, Ambiga also quoted passages from ‘May Day for Justice’, a book written by former Lord President Mohd Salleh Abas regarding the Umno crisis of 1987.

“It seemed to me that one of the way to eliminate suspicion particularly in view of the hearing of political overtones surrounding the case was to review the case (Umno) before a full bench.

“This is to allow every variety if judicial opinion available to come to bear on the matters.”

Salleh also said it is also obvious by including all the judges, it could eliminate any suggestion of bias on his part.

“No one can say I picked the judges or pick the bench,” the former Lord President said on having a full bench to hear the Umno matter in 1988.

However, before the idea could be implemented, Mahathir replaced him.

Much is at stake

Nizar’s appeal would determine the future of the Perak Pakatan Rakyat state government, which had been driven out of power in February after three of its elected representatives resigned from their parties and pledged support for Barisan Nasional.

Much is at stake at this hearing which would decide not only who is the legitimate menteri besar but also set a precedent for future similar political imbroglios.

Five of the country’s top judges have been picked to hear the case despite Nizar having sought a full 11-member bench given the importance of the case.

The basis for his 11-bench application, as the former Perak MB stated in his affidavit, is that it involves constitutional issues regarding the interpretation of the Perak constitution which would have a direct impact in the interpretation of the provisions in the federal constitution.

Nizar also said that the apex court’s decision would affect all Malaysians and would become a precedent to similar cases in the near future.

“The issues and constitutional problem in Perak have not been resolved and a full quorum of Federal Court judges is important as it involves public interests and the jurisprudence history of the court in Malaysia.

“Furthermore, the legal issues which is raised following the Court of Appeal decision involves the rejection of strong constitutional cases involving the powers of the menteri besar or the chief ministers of Sabah and Sarawak,” Nizar had said in his affidavit filed on Oct 28.

Others on the five-member bench are Chief Judge of Malaya Arifin Zakaria and justices Zulkefli Ahmad Makinuddin, Mohd Ghazali Mohd Yusoff and Abdull Hamid Embong.

Nizar is represented by a team of lawyers led by senior counsel Sulaiman Abdullah, while another senior lawyer Cecil Abraham is representing Perak Menteri Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir.

Journalists and members of the public were at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya as early as 7am, where the hearing is held.

Security was tight as police and security personnel require those planning to go into the courtroom to obtain special passes.

Three key questions

Three constitutional questions have been posed for the country’s highest court to decide:

1. A proper interpretation of Article 16(6) of the Perak constitution under which a menteri besar can advise the sultan to dissolve the assembly. What if there is no motion of no-confidence against the MB and that he refuses to resign?

2. Can the sultan determine if a menteri besar commands the confidence of the majority of the House without a vote in the assembly?

Article 16(6) of the state constitution also relates to a motion of no-confidence being made at the state legislative assembly and an interpretation is being sought on this.

3. Whether the state constitution allows the sultan to sack a menteri besar or can the position be deemed vacant if he chooses not to resign.

Nizar wins one, Zambry wins one

The MB vs MB case, which began in March, saw Nizar winning in the High Court on May 11 when justice Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahim declared the PAS leader the rightful menteri besar.

Subsequently, Zambry was granted stay within 24 hours by recently promoted justice Ramly Ali on appeal at the Court of Appeal.

This was followed with the appellate court decision by a three-member bench on May 22 to overturn the High Court decision and acknowledged Zambry as the legitimate menteri besar.

Nizar had encountered problems filing his application for a stay at the Federal Court after the three judges delayed submitting their written judgments.

Two of the written judgments were only made available on June 27, a month after their oral decision, while the third was made available in early July.

Updated from Malaysiakini- Home Minister Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the decision by ROS was based

Updated from Malaysiakini- Home Minister Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the decision by ROS was based on three main factors – the country laws, the Societies Act 1996 and the MCA constitution.

“Should the matter be taken to court, we, at the ministry, and ROS will explain and defend the decision,” he told a news conference at the Parliament lobby here today.

Liow Tiong Lai and his renegades in MCA have tasted the bitter sweet of party politics and the learning process of it all is a rocky and winding road to the top. Politics never takes prisoners and if he was to fall by the wayside and does not accept the decisions he will be affixing his very own signature to his own MCA DEATH WARRANT.

The ROS has spoken and no one should and can dispute it as it clearly states in the Societies Act 1966(Act 335 ) & regulations.-18c Decision of political party to be final and conclusive.

{ The decision of a political party or any person authorised by it or by its constitution or rules or regulations made thereunder on the interpretation of its constitution,rules or regualtions or any matter relating to the affairs of the party shall be final and conclusive and such decision shall not be challenged,appealed against,reviewed,quashed or called in questionb in any court on any ground,and no court shall have jurisdiction to entertain or determine any suit,application,question or proceeding on any ground regarding the validity of the decision.}

That is the very reason which also saw to the end of problems in Party Rakyat Sarawak in which there was the factional infighting for two years between James Masing and Larry Sng. The ROS declared James the legitimate President and Larry’s man just left him and the party and joined PKR enbloc. Liow the options and the door has just slammed shut on you with the PM agreeing to the decision.

So Liow now are you ready to bow down and accept the truth or leave MCA. This is the statement copied from Malaysiakini,’ Speaking at a press conference in Parliament, the Barisan Nasional chieftain described the ROS’ stunning decision as “purely legal”..

According to Najib, this is how the ROS interpreted the MCA constitution.

“The constitution is based on certain provisions which requires two-thirds majority to remove anyone in the party whether appointed or elected.

“Now based on that, that is why they (ROS) said Chua is still the deputy and this is the same provision that keeps Ong Tee Keat as president,” he said.

Najib added that the ROS has to be consistent as it cannot make two different decisions when the case is the same.”You cannot have one principle on the president, and another on the deputy. MCA has decided that part of the constitution, the ROS only interpreted the constitution,” he said

Liow said that he reserves the right he reserves the right to file an appeal or take the matter to court.

My friend Mr.Health Minister please wise up and take your time and you will not regret it. The journey has just started for you but if you just insists to follow that path of CONFRONTATIONAL Politics you will always be used as a Hand Grenade and others will benefit from your irrational ways.

We would also recommend you to read this from an internet blog,” Sarawak’s renewed political hopes. Many have tried and have failed to challenge the Presidents of respective parties. Will you be able to create this historical breakthrough…???

Certainly Chua Soi Lecks reinstatement by ROS must have come as a shocker to many in the political fraternity. The MACC coming down on Political corruption is commendable but more needs to be unearthed by MACC. Now according to this blog the Police are following suit and calling in Zorro a fellow blogger to answer a few questions over a cup of coffee hmmm. Malaysia is indeed going through some pretty interesting times dont you think so…….

The whole weekend Marina was the focal point of every conversation in all corners of Sarawak. Howeve

The whole weekend Marina was the focal point of every conversation in all corners of Sarawak. However what is most puzzling is that according to a parent,”How come Federal Officers or Ministers are so quiet on this issue? Our Ministers can harp and shout their voices hoarse from the longhouses rooftops but it will be too no avail. There seems to be a deafening calm and silence.

The headlines by Minister Of Land Development James Masing in the local Borneo Posts should be commended. His children are also mixed and they cannot run away from it. The whole story can be read by HERE. Out of curiosity what has happen to the some of the other Sarawak Federal Members of Parliament who should be making their voices heard now in Parliament on this issue.Only a handful dares to make their presence felt. Do we need to tell them that 2+3 does not equal to 8 before they come out of their cocoon shells/caves to fight for their own people. Are they so afraid of stepping on the WRONG TOES..??

Do we need to tell them what to do? Can’t they organise themselves to be heard in a Press Conference in Parliament or get a signed Memorandum to deliberate on this issue. There is a serious need to look into this matter as PM Najibs “slogan 1 Malaysia” is but another rhetoric and going astray. In Sarawak one can say if you throw a COIN IN THE AIR IT WILL BOUND TO HIT A PERSON OF MIXED PARENTAGE. It’s not funny though as this issue will singularly bring down the Government of the Day.

Sarawak is the Bastion of BN Government with 30 out of 31 Parlaiamentary seats and 62 out of 71 State seats. It’s already out in the open now and the can of worms are wriggling free. The opposition have been harping on NCR issues in Sarawak, corruption, cronyism, abuse of powers,Penan rape cases “To me, all these reports are not true” and many others and BUT ULTIMATEDLY THIS IS THE BIGGEST SINGULAR THORN THAT WILL INFLICT THE CORE DAMAGE TO THE INVICIBILITY OF THE BN.

BN strategists will say to their respective bosses no way ,no way,no way but when it happens that the results are not as expected and there is a sudden shift of voters attitude the amount of $$$$$$ to bring them back in terms of development it will be a little too late. Some opposition leaders are at their little corner of their constituencies giggling and rubbing their hands with delight.

According to a number of analysts BN should not be HOLED UP with this issue as Marina is tantamount and likened to be God’s Gift to the opposition. There are hundreds and thousands who are not accorded this status but are now saying,”If only Marina had appeared earlier…her grades are so much better than ours and she has made the right noises. “

A close aide to James Masing said that the boss sees no other choice available to him but to confront the ISSUE OF MARINA headon as the Bumiputras in Sarawak are looking beyond this statement which James said,” It’s not just education we are talking about here,”. Now its up to the Fedral authorities to stand up and get their hands dirty or else it will be sooner rather than later the people will turn against the BN Governance.

2+3 equals 5 but we do make it a little too complicated at times for this country to move forward. A chinese friend who had dinner with me said in jests,” Now we CHINESE can call ourselves Cinaputra. We dont want any complications now do we…hik hik hik ????

If a Hollywood script writer was to write about this chronicles he will not only be confused but als

If a Hollywood script writer was to write about this chronicles he will not only be confused but also puzzled. It seems the democratic rights of the people in Perak are being challenged by the legislators themselves. Is there an END to all this.? Surely, only a SNAP ELECTIONS in the Perak State can stop this from deteriorating further into a complete mess of Democracy. It’s Perak ’s call and we can only sit and watch and tickle ourselves silly.

Consider this movie show: Firstly there is the appointment of Senators:-BN proposing Datuk Azian Osman while Pakatan Osman Abdul Rahman. There are 2 sittings chaired by2 Speakers Ganesan and Sivakumar and both sides of the political divide with at least 20 ADUNs(legislators) on each side.Exact numbers 31-28. BN and Pakatan holding 2 separate proceedings. You tell me what the hell is going on? It certainly is beyond REPAIR and DEMOCRACY is surely the loser here.

audie61 copied this from internet portal Malaysiakini on the sequence of events for you to make your own judgement. We have said our PARTY PIECES and its your call the readers out there in cyberspace.

11.45am: Pakatan reps left the House after Sivakumar adjourned their sitting. They are now holding a press conference in the library, located near the chamber.

11.30am: Ganesan’s statements were met with Pakatan jeers, but he ignored this.

At the same time, Sivakumar is addressing ‘his’ assembly.

Effectively, two concurrent sittings are taking place in the House, with motions being ‘passed’ simultaneously, including one approving the state budget.

11.20am: The BN sitting resumed amidst much noise from the opposition bench although their mics have been turned off.

The rivals are exchanging banter, with Pakatan’s refrain being : “Speaker haram sila keluar.”

Ganesan ordered civility, threatening to take action against unruly members. Still, each time a BN member speaks, the Pakatan bench responds with jeers.

11.05am: Sivakumar has adjourned the Pakatan ’sitting’.

11.00am: Nizar tabled a motion to suspend all National Service camps and other outdoor co-corriculum activities in light of the Kampar tragedy, pending the outcome of investigations. This was unanimously ‘approved’.

He then spoke on the findings of the 2008 Auditor-General’s Report, saying that his administration had done well (during its 10-month tenure in Perak). He recorded his thanks to the auditor-general and all government departments.

10.55am: Police have chased off about 80 supporters outside the building, back behind the security tape. The supporters obliged, but are taunting the cops, with some shouting: “1 Malaysia, 2 Perak, 3 Katak!”

One held up the front page of the Sin Chew Daily today to display the headline on the ‘1 Malaysia programme’ tragedy.

10.45am: Sivakumar started the Pakatan sitting with a doa, although he is sitting at the Tronoh seat.

He asked for a minute’s silence on the Kampar tragedy and this was observed, despite some BN reps shouting “tadi dah buat”.

Sivakumar and colleagues retorted: “Itu speaker haram yang buat.”

Nizar asked to speak, but his mic was turned off.

Ganesan has not acted on this, while BN reps are ignoring the speeches. They are walking about and talking, appearing to pretend that their rivals are not in the House.

10.35am: Sivakumar took his seat on the opposition bench.

Chang Lih Kang (PKR-Teja) turned on his microphone, saying: “Speaker haram, sila keluar dewan.”

Ganesan attempted to say that he had adjourned the session until 11.30am, but was ignored by Pakatan members.

A Sivasubramaniam (DAP-Buntong) stood to explain why
Ganesan is the ‘unlawful’ speaker. Pakatan colleaguues responded with repeated thumping of their tables to express approval of his points.

Ganesan remained in the chair, rubbing his chin with his left hand.

10.22am: Pakatan reps finally entered the House, deriding the speaker even before taking their seats.

Comments were heard: “Wah! Speaker haram, bodyguard banyak”; and “Woi, Ganesan pakai sari lebih baik lah!”

10.20am: Ganesan adjourned the sitting to 11.30am.

10.15am: Menteri Besar Zambry Abd Kadir has begun the budget speech. There is still no sign of opposition members.

Outside the building, however, there was drama.

A police team led by Ipoh OCCI Anthony Glenn was accused of blocking the Pakatan reps from entering the House several times and of roughing up some of them.

Pasir Panjang rep Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin told reporters that they were blocked even before they could take the lift.

Sivakumar claimed that the police had grabbed his songkok, but did not succeed in taking away his robe.

The reps re-entered the building after the press conference, but Sivakumar re-emerged with Jalong rep Leong Mee Meng – this time, he was not wearing the robe.

“They grabed my robe and beat up a few reps inside the building” he claimed.

10.05am: Ganesan began with announcements, stressing the ban on the use of visual recording devices and mobile phones in the House. The sergeant-at-arms has been authorised to confiscate these items.

He said additional sergeants-at-arms have been deployed – at least 22 are in the House – to prevent a repeat of the ruckus at the May 7 sitting.

The House observed a minute’s silence over the tragedy in Kampar on Monday night, in which 1 student drowned after a suspension bridge collapsed. There is still no sign of opposition members.

10.00am: The session started with the doa, after the sergeant-at-arms brought in the mace. The opposition bench remains empty, with speculation being that Pakatan representatives are still going through the screening procedures.

9.50am: All Pakatan representatives are now in the building after going through two police check-points.

Aulong representative Yew Tian Hoe, who is disabled, was driven to the building. He was wearing a black t-shirt with the slogan Bubar Dun (Dissolve the assembly), but there was a coat on a hanger in the car.

“This is to express my protest,” he told reporters.

In the House, Ganesan is in the speaker’s chair, flanked by about 20 individuals wearing jackets. The BN bench is full, but the opposition bench is empty.

9.45am: Pakatan representatives have started marching from DAP headquarters to the state secretariat building; Sivakumar is wearing the speaker’s robe

9.40am: Thorough checks underway with the use of metal detectors, on bags carried by journalists

9am: Still no sign of any crowd but elected representatives are slowly trickling into the state secretariat.

Among the first to arrive were DAP state chief Ngeh Koo Ham and Thomas Su but were prevented from entering the building, leading to an argument with the police. The police relented and allowed them in.

“It’s a shame and a mockery for police to block us,” said Ngeh.

Earlier report:

Police have thrown a cordon around the Perak state secretariat in Ipoh for today’s budget sitting.

The sitting was called by both the Barisan Nasional speaker R Ganesan and Pakatan Rakyat speaker V Sivakumar.

Ganesan replaced Sivakumar under questionable circumstances during the last assembly sitting in May.

With Pakatan continuing to dispute the legitimacy of the BN state government, the police are expecting tension-filled proceedings today.

In anticipation of trouble, the police obtained a court order late yesterday to bar people from gathering within 50m of the state secretariat building where the legislative assembly is located.

The order took effect from 1am today and is valid up to 11pm on Friday.

Early this morning at least eight trucks, one van, two jeeps, two Federal Reserve Unit trucks and two water cannon were deployed just outside the state secretariat.

The first police vehicle arrived about 6.20am. Several police personnel have also been placed inside the building.

By 7am, police personnel had put up barricades and barbed wire to prevent unauthorised access. Some 450 police personnel are on standby.

The sitting is due to start at 10am but the main gate to the building will open at 9am.

BN elected representatives will be allowed into the House from 9.30am, while Pakatan assemblypersons will be admitted from 9.55am – apparently to prevent them from grabbing the speaker’s chair.

In 21 days you will be blessed by God. Really! By the way to the tune of M$6000 if you just give/pay the initial sum of M$50. Then you have to introduce 2 new friends to me and they will also have to pay M$50 each before they will be blessed . Great isn’t it and what a way to do multi level marketing and telling me that God has blessed me and will bless those who introduce more.

He showed me the marketing plan and said to me this is also a way to assist the telecommunications company in promotion. Wow! They even use the name of GOD IN VAIN to achieve their purpose. I was very mad with my introducer and it did not take too long for me to just distant myself and smelling ,” ITS ANOTHER WELL THOUGHT OUT SCAM. THE GULLIBLE ONES WILL SURELY FALL FOR IT. I’M PRETTY SURE GOD DOES NOT WANT TO BE PART OF THIS….Oooooh Please STOP THIS NONSENSE… “

There are so many different ways to get a blessing and I’m sure the almighty creator will be pleased if you use your given BRAINS to good use instead of telling the world in so many words,” THIS IS GODS BLESSINGS “

At least I can forgive my introducer as he did not know what he was doing or he could have been under a cruel spell.God Bless him…..Maybe the authorities should also make a check on this and who knows before long it might catch fire…..

When the final whistle was blown in the clash of the weekend it favoured Liverpool the Home side winning 2-0. Most of the staff at audie61 are Manchester Unitd fans and one can tell from their faces how devastated they were. Anyway this writeup from Malaysiakini has ruffled more than a few feathers. We copied it in full for those who are not subsribers of Malaysiakini so that everyone will have their own reaction and make up their own assessment. Im sure the party boys /girls of PKR would rather be Liverpool fans than MU after the next GE 13th.Which side would you rather support …This is the reality………………………………………………PKR’s losing game of musical chairs

Despite winning the largest share of opposition seats in the last ‘political tsunami’, Parti Keadilan Rakyat now lacks boldness and decisiveness.

Rather, the sordid internal state of affairs within PKR and frequent open squabbling between Pakatan Rakyat coalition partners masks a growing anxiety among its own activists.

There are fears that Anwar (left) does not have it in him to lead Pakatan Rakyat to another overwhelming electoral victory at the next national polls.

It is not just Anwar’s plodding pace that worries, but his ability to position capable and effective leadership at the state level.

Party insiders felt that for that to take place, appointments should be made only after sufficient feedback from the ground, an in-depth study of the local political scene and a well-thought strategic plan before the appointments are made.

Slow to progress

In recent months, murmurs of discontent rumbled about the lack of momentum and PKR’s supremo Anwar Ibrahim’s lethargic approach to transforming the party into a force strong enough to win the next general election.

The sudden gust of in-fighting and internal rivalry arising from state chairmanship appointments over the year was enough to make many wonder if the party is weakening in support.

On Sunday, Anwar chaired his 62-member Supreme Council and the agenda included a reshuffling of its party’s state chairmanship line-up.

Ardent supporters believe Anwar has to silence the rumblings from among his ranks and file over strategy and tactics related to such appointments.

There is now a perception within his ranks and file that Anwar is suffering from a surfeit of new ideas, lacking focus and without an impetus for quick decision-making.

More seriously, there is also a belief that the gulf between his party and NGOs is widening due to eroding confidence towards the Pakatan coalition of which PKR is a major player.

Even DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang (right) has publicly acknowledged eroding confidence.

Many are beginning to doubt whether Anwar is able to transform his party into an unstoppable fighting machine under such circumstances? Time is running out.

PKR leadership can only undertake a major shift in direction, enhancing its organisational strength provided the adviser spends more quality time running the party and spends less time travelling overseas.

The liability incurred by a lackadaisical leadership is already telling.

This week, newly appointed Azmin Ali’s departed in a huff following a memorandum signed by 18 division chiefs calling for his removal. There was much media speculation that the appointments of state chiefs was akin to playing “musical chairs”.

Although the PKR leadership had clarified that Azmin’s tenure expired in October, the strained relationship arising from an appointment seems to suggest that there was little deliberate thinking on strategies and long term vision over such appointments.

It is a lesson learnt. The formation of a new National Integration Council comprising top ranking party leaders from the state and the peninsular is seen as a compromise and remedial action on the erred political judgement.

Yet, it also raises the pertinent question whether Anwar understands the strategic importance of having suitable and longer serving state chairmen to strengthen the party network and machinery.

In doing so, critics also contend that Anwar needs to behave more like a hare than a tortoise and unsurprisingly, some within his party view Anwar as “fiddling while Rome burns.”

Confidence shaken

To some of his core supporters, Anwar does not seem to be reacting positively enough to the growing recognition and demand for reform, particularly within PKR.

Confidence in PKR and Pakatan’s ability to transform our national political force into a two-party system in the country is wearing thin by the day.

Understandably, voices of concern are growing louder within the party that PKR is steadily lacking the firepower, plodding along instead of racing towards the next general election.

Will this major reshuffling of state chiefs be another play of musical chairs? Or will the appointments be well received from the ground and not just another excuse for political arrangements or simply expediency for political patronage?

Whether the recently announced major reshuffle of state chiefs will pump more renewable energy and effectiveness remains to be seen.

Azmin Ali, as expected, was given the Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur state portfolio previously held by Abdul Khalid Ibrahim who will likely retain his Selangor state chairmanship.

Libaran assemblyman Yhamrin Zaini was appointed the new Sabah state chief, replacing Azmin (left).

Mustaffa Kamil Ayub now heads Perak state following a short stint as Sarawak state chief.

The frequent changing of the guard in the state is a bad practice. Many could hardly warm their seats, draw up any organisational charts or consolidate local support before they are whisked away to another state.

Others argued that the appointment of state chiefs is a broader issue which must be backed by collective local support within the state, clearly aware of local sensitivities before the party enters an aggressive new phase of reforms.

But in politics, you cannot fake it. The appointment of state chiefs is an illustrated case in point; Anwar cannot afford to continue plodding slowly along. Many viewed Anwar as being unable to carve a clear set of directions or give a convincing account that PKR and Pakatan as a coalition can get its act together.

Will the new appointments be handled wisely or a protectionist backlash from states further hurt PKR’s image further?

As the adviser to the party, Anwar should know that a wisely thought-out appointment exercise can go hand in hand with the party’s agenda to consolidate a stronger support base while an idle endorsement will bring more political turmoil spawning more instability within the party.

As a critic remarked, “There is no before and after, PKR and Pakatan coalition share the same destiny, only one more chance at the next general election but unlikely after that.”
