da in letzter Zeit die verbalen Attacken auf einige Mitglieder unserer Community stark zugenommen haben, haben wir einen Verlust zu verbuchen. Airaqua ist, wie ihr sicher schon gemerkt habt, nicht mehr als Moderatorin tätig und auf Spocal auch nicht mehr anwesend.

Aus diesem Grund haben wir unsere Community Guidelines angepasst und sind wir erneut auf der Suche nach einer Dame, die gerne die freigewordene Moderatorinnen-Stelle neu besetzen und einen Teil dazu beitragen möchte, unsere Community zu einem Ort zu machen, an dem Blossstellungen, unfreiwillige Enthüllungen und bösartige Angriffe keine Chance haben.

An dieser Stelle danken wir natürlich allen, die sich beworben haben und mit guten Wahlversprechen, Stimmen für sich begeistern konnten. Aber auch allen, die ihre Stimme abgegeben haben um unsere Community von einem guten zu einem noch besseren Ort zu machen, gilt ein grosses Dankeschön. Ohne euch wäre das nicht möglich gewesen!

Es war ein Freitag im Dezember und aus den unterschiedlichsten Richtungen kamen junge Menschen im Cabaret Voltaire zusammen um sich kennen zu lernen und sich auszutauschen über Gott und die Welt. Einige erwarteten nicht viel vom Abend, gingen aber glücklich und positiv überrascht am Ende nach Hause.
Ungefähr 15 Personen schnatterten den ganzen Abend quer durcheinander und wechselten die Themen in Rekord-Zeit: Spocal live.
Besonders gespannt waren natürlich alle auf die Gesichter, mit denen sie sowieso schon kommunizieren, aber sie noch nie gesehen haben. Und der Eine oder Andere musste feststellen, dass die Leute auch im realen Leben total interessant und nett sind…
Sehr erstaunlich fanden es einige, dass trotz Prüfungsphase und ohne Androhung von Gratis-Getränken so viele Spocaler sich auf den Weg gemacht haben und ein super toller Abend entstanden ist.

Zum Abschluss möchten wir noch eine poetische Zusammenfassung des Abends präsentieren und danken der Organisatorin noch einmal für ihr Engagement. Bei einem nächsten Treffen unterstützen wir euch sehr gerne beim Ankündigen! Meldet euch einfach bei uns und ihr habt unsere volle Unterstützung!

Was uns natürlich jetzt brennend interessieren würde: Sind denn aus ein paar Singles nach dem Abend ein paar Nicht-Singles geworden?

Die Stunden vergehen, kaum ein Platz mehr am Tisch
und jetzt sollen wir Plätze tauschen, wo ist das denn üblich?
An ein Speeddating Event wollt’ ja keiner kommen
und trotzdem machen alle mit, auch wenn sie’s nicht wollen.

Gegen Ende des Abends hast’ mal mit jedem gesprochen,
mal mehr mal weniger: Hauptsache mitmachen.
Spass war garantiert, bei einem Event so wie diesem.
Ich freue mich schon riesig auf unseren nächsten.

Zum Schluss wünsch ich allen ganz frohe Festtage
und werde sicher nicht enden, ganz plump mit einer Frage?”

Heute möchten wir euch eine Person präsentieren, die es extra darauf angelegt hat, den Richtigen zu finden. Sie hat Spocal als Experimentier-Plattform benutzt und einfach mal ausprobiert, was passiert, wenn sie einen Aufruf startet: “Welcher „Er“ möchte mich zum Mittagessen einladen?” Was tatsächlich geschehen ist, berichtet sie in einer kleinen Zusammenfassung exklusiv und nur für euch.

“Ein Aufruf an die Männerwelt – Frau zeigt Initiative. Da scheint die Community-PlattformSpocal hinsichtlich einer solchen Suche geradezu ideal zu sein. Es ist wohl vor allem die Anonymität, die entgegen meinen Erwartungen, so viele männliche Spocal-User dazu veranlasst, auf meinen Post zu reagieren und mir eine PM zu schreiben. Trotzdem – eine Prise Skepsis seitens der Männerwelt ist schon zu spüren, ansonsten wäre wohl die Frage „wie siehst du aus?“ ausgeblieben. Was vorerst als eine Art unterhaltsames Kennenlern-Spiel beginnt, entpuppt sich als echte Herausforderung. Um das sogenannte “Selektionsverfahren” zu beschleunigen, genügen dann doch nur einige Schlüsselfragen, wie beispielweise das Alter, die Grösse, Hobbys oder gar die Studienrichtung.

Hat der noch teils anonyme Kandidat diese ersten Hürden schmerzfrei überstanden, befindet er sich sozusagen noch im Rennen. Nun steht einem Treffen in der realen Welt nicht mehr viel im Weg. Noch ein Austausch von angeblich aktuellen Selbstportraits und das Blind-Date kann beginnen. Ein Blick in die Agenda ruft vorerst ein Schmunzeln hervor: 7 Dates verteilt auf eine Woche. Wer hätte das gedacht?

Sekunden vor dem ersten Treffen kommen noch letzte Zweifel auf: Wird er auch wirklich erscheinen? Wie sieht er wohl aus? Doch zum Grübeln bleibt keine Zeit mehr. Augenkontakt und schwups! steht ER vor dir… Was bereits in der Forschung als erwiesen gilt, stellt sich zumindest auch bei mir heraus: Es sind die ersten paar Sekunden, die bereits den Ausgang eines Dates vorhersehbar machen. Bauchgefühl hin oder her, ein Rückzieher kommt selbstverständlich nicht mehr in Frage!

Die Dates waren sehr abwechslungsreich gestaltet: Vom Picknick über den Dächern von Zürich, einem eher faden Sandwich auf der Polyterrasse, einem morgendlichen Café Mocha im Starbucks, einem Spaziergang im Marschschritt entlang dem Züri-See, einem Feierabend-Drink im Niederdörfli, Glacé-Essen am See, bis hin zu einem gemütlichen Plaudern mit dem Spocal-CEO. Nach durchschnittlich 90 Minuten neigt sich auch mal das letzte Date der Woche dem Ende zu – amüsant waren die Dates allemal!

Nun das Fazit? Zugegeben: nach einer solchen Woche fasst Frau sich dann doch mal an die Stirn und denkt: Mann! War das anstrengend! Aber dennoch: Es war eine spannende und einmalige Woche, in der ich neue Kontakte knüpfen und viele Erfahrungen sammeln konnte. Und das Erfreulichste am Ganzen: Einige Bekanntschaften werden weitergepflegt.

Es war an einem Mittwoch im Oktober. Verschiedenste Menschen machten sich am frühen Abend auf den Weg nach Zürich Stadelhofen und verschwanden hinter den Glasfronten eines asiatischen Restaurants, das unter Kennern auch Mishio genannt wird.
Nach kurzer Zeit fand sich eine Runde von knapp 30 Personen an einem grossen Tisch zusammen um gemeinsam kleine Köstlichkeiten der asiatischen Küche bei einem kühlen Getränk zu geniessen. Das Eis schmolz je später es wurde und aus Menschen, die einfach aus unterschiedlichen Richtungen kamen, wurde eine lustige Runde plaudernder und lachender Studenten, die gemeinsam einen wundervollen Abend verbrachten.

Ein grosses Highlight dieser Veranstaltung war mit Sicherheit die Preisverleihung unserer Spocal/Mishio Platinum Card. Die Gewinnerin konnte ihr Glück gar nicht glauben und schwebte auf dem Weg nach Hause immer noch auf Wolken.

konnte sie gar nicht oft genug erwähnen und strahlte den ganzen Abend lang.

Auch die anderen kamen nicht zu kurz und staubten neben Fingerfood auch noch ein paar neue Bekanntschaften und eine stylische Spocal Tasche ab, sodass auch sie mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht den Abend beenden konnten.

Das ganze Spocal Team dankt allen, die den Abend im Mishio so besonders gemacht haben und wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Event mit euch! Ihr seid einfach die Besten!

Dass wir viele kreative Köpfe unter uns haben, ist eigentlich keine Überraschung. Dass wir sie animieren konnten, diese Kreativität mit uns zu teilen, ist wunderbar!

Aber fangen wir am Anfang der Geschichte an: Wir haben vor einiger Zeit ein paar Taschen verlost. Doch bevor wir sie unter die Leute bringen konnten, mussten wir herausfinden, welche Tasche mit welchem Spruch denn überhaupt unser Hauptpreis sein sollte. Already during the very early days of Spocal Arizona was around. He started sharing poems, songs and great expressions of his passion: RAP. Arizona was one of the first ones to claim for a way to recognize users on a permanent basis. He used to append his signature to every post:

My story is your story is their story is our story is her story is history. My point is, let me put it this way….someone once said (St.Augustine If I can recall) that a universe cannot exist without a mind to observe it…so you ask yourself, what is the point of me having said that…well, I only have a story because others have stories, my story cannot exist without the stories of others, and everyones story is connected to every other, and we are constantly cowriting stories, what matters are stories of hope, justice, strength,courage, perseverance in the face of adversity, servanthood, humility……my story is intimate and personal, and the world is not yet ready to recieve it.

Does yours? Regarding mine, not really, I just liked the sound of it

3. What makes you laugh?

Good humour, good irony, scare tactics, verstehen sie Spass, good standup comedy e.g. Pablo Francisco and his impersonation of Arnold Schwarzenneger, etc.

The great moments in human history that have marked the course of humanity, especially if captured on camera,e.g. the speeches of M.Luther King, Charlie Chaplin`s speech in – the great dictator, the breaking of the berlin wall, the struggle of grassroot groups and the individual efforts of all to bring to its kness the racist regime of the apartheid government in the RSA, to see men in positions of victory, when I listen to Bach and the works and deeds of Jesus Christ. The only times I “cry” by this I mean get teary eyes, are when I see things that are so called “grossartig”.

Neither, chilling in a good coffee lounge with groovy lounge vibes, or in an apartment that is comfy with positively vibed company, and also chilling in the studio attacking tracks in a recording session, which ive started to enjoy as im pretty new to recording.

It has only just begun and I’m looking forward to writing another page each morning I get up.

I think that we live in a world that has no longer room for dreams. We are all pushed into following a certain pattern and it is too easy to forget that once when we were little we all dreamt of becoming a pilot or a rockstar. We all dreamt of a better world. So yes, my nickname does have a special meaning since I believe that dreams really do come true if you have faith in them and in yourself.

3. What makes you laugh?

Spending time with my closest friends who know how to make me laugh even if I feel like crying.

4. What makes you cry?

A lot of things, actually It would be hard to list all of them here, that’s why I’m simply gonna say that I’m quite an emotional person.

Since I’m not really into drinking I’m gonna go with water because at the end of the day it is quite enough

Definitely Bar. I like to talk to people to really get to know them, which is much easier in a Bar than in a disco.

Dreams change as you move on with your life, but one dream of mine has always stayed the same. And that would be that no matter what happens and no matter what I’m gonna do in the future, I will stay true to myself and never change just for the sake of fitting into someone else’s idea of life and happiness.
