T_T It’s the last episode of you’re beautiful…really hoping there would be a Season 2.

Anyways, here’s the episode recap by Cecilia @soompi

ok so the ep starts with TK at hong dae looking for MN. MN stops to look at a window display with stars. She bumps into someone and turns, at this moment, TK who is surrounded by screaming fan sees her and they stare at each other. MN bows and greets him but the next thing he knows, MN has disappeared. Meanwhile as MN is walking along, she bumps into manager ma who has also walked into the area after hearing the news that MN is around. The two sit down at a cafe and Manager ma says that GMN is at the countryside participating in some show at the moment. That they’ve been really busy lately. MN reveals that she will be going to africa shortly to do some volunteer work and that she’s been keeping track of them via TV and internet. Manager ma remarks how that he might never see her again.

Meanwhile TK who hasnt been able to spot MN has returned to the company by himself and sees president Ahn and Wang coordi. TK says he’s come back by himself and asks if they’ve seen GMN. President Ahn asks wang coordi to ring manager ma coz GMN should be with manager ma. TK sits by himself in the studio and tries to analyse the situation. at first he thinks maybe MN dint see him but then he disposes that thought coz he saw MN actually greeting him. Then he thinks maybe she’s decided that she will become a nun again but then remembers taht MN said that she’s given that up already. Then he thinks of another scenario which i cant remember TT Then he thinks maybe she’s decided that she’s just going to become a fan but then thinks that’s wrong coz if she wanted to be just a fan, then at least she would go up to him to ask for an autogrpah. He thinks i’ve been waiting all this time for her, have I been dumped?

After, manager ma gets a call from wang coordi. President Ahn has heard from someone that GMN has been seen at Jinsoo (some country area). it turns out that manager ma has sent GMN to do some show without president ahn knowing (so that he can pocket some money from the show) and president ahn gets suspicious. So president ahn asks wang coordi if there’s a schedule that he doesnt know about. Wang coordi says of course not and presidnet ahn asks for manager ma to bring GMN in front of him in 10 minutes. Manager ma doesnt know what to do and begs MN to help him to become GMN just for a bit, just to greet president Ahn and that would be all. MN refuses to and manager ma gets onto his knees to beg her. He says that he’s got a baby coming and that doing this was because he need to save up money for the baby, MN asks what baby? Manager ma said that the mother is wang coordi and that last time at okinawa they got together LOL. So MN dresses up as GMN and is brought to president Ahn. President Ahn believes that it’s GMN but then Jeremy shows up and yells out to MN and asks where his sister is? Manager drags him away. Then SW shows up and says that he has something to say to GMN. Wang coordi drags him away and MN walks off. Meanwhile TK is standing on the balcony and thinking to himself, an coming down to a conclusion that he’s been dumped by MN. At this moment, MN walks in. She’s been trying to only look at him far away but somehow he’s ended up in front of her. She turns around to leave but TK calls out to her. He sees her back so doesnt know it’s her. He asks GMN to tell MN that he’s doing really well , that he’s ok. He’s like make sure u tell her. Then he walks off. MN turns around after and says, it’s fortunate taht you are doing well and she thnks taht he’s ok now.

MN walks back, talking to manager ma. Manager ma says i’ll drive you back but MN says she can go by herslef. Then president ahn comes out and drags MN away. It turns out that he’s taking her to see HY. wth apparently GMN likes HY and even asked president ahn to get HY out so that he can see her. Manager ma tells MN not to look at HY or say anything to her or she might konw that it’s not the real GMN. MN sits down and finds out that GMN has been telling HY how much he likes her and told her that he was going to confess to HY at their concert as well. HY is like i told u no already. Then she is curious whether TK has had any reaction to GMN trying to chase HY.

TK is alone and wondering whether GMN has already told MN what he said. Because he realises that if MN hears what he said then MN would think that he was ok now and would seem to have ended all his feelings. Manager ma finds out that TK, jeremy and SW were coming as well. So he tells MN taht she has to get drunk and lose her consciousness so that she wont be discovered. MN has one shot and gets drunk, falling unconscious. TK, SW and jeremy arrive and jeremy is trying to wake her up but cant. President ahn comments on how GMN doesnt usually get drunk this easily, maybe it’s coz he’s nervous. He tells the guys to sit down and have a drink, it’s been a long tiem since they have gathered together like this. HY gets up and puts MN’s head on her lap and pretends taht she really cares about GMN (all for show for TK lol). Later manager ma leans MN against the wall and covers her with a jacket. TK asks manager ma whether GMN has said anything about MN or whether he’s seen GMN making a phone call. SW notices taht sth is wrong already with ‘GMN’. manager ma gets a call from GMN and gets up to take the call outside. MN falls onto TK’s lap and at first TK wants to push her away then realises that something was different. He looks at MN’s face and holds her hand and recalls how her hand felt like and he knows it’s MN. He says that GMN seems to be very drunk, i’ll take him home first.

SW looks at TK taking MN away. manager ma gets back and finds MN gone. SW says taht TK has taken MN home first and that it shoudl be ok coz noone noticed. Manager ma is like whew then hes like how do you know that it was MN?

TK and MN are in the car which is parked outside the home. MN slowly wakes up and asks for manager ma. She opens her eyes and sees TK. She panics and leans towards the door. Then she says let me out. but she’s struggling coz she hadnt unfastened her seatbelt yet. TK unfastens the seatbelt for her and tells her taht they’re home. He comments that she’s really drunk. TK gets out and MN gets out after him. MN’s stomach is churning and she rushes to go to the bathroom. Afterwards, she sees TK drinking water and goes to the fridge to get water. She leaves the fridge door open and just stands there coz she doesnt know what to do. TK says if ur not thinking of going into the fridge then close the door. MN closes the door. TK makes her a hot drink to wake her up. He holds up his hand and asks, what’s this? MN answers, there’s 5. TK says the correct answer is a palm. MN asks do you know already? (that she is MN and not GMN) TK says do you think that i wouldnt know? MN explains that she’s covering up with GMN for jsut a short while.(I kinda lost concentration here then ) The main point of what MN said here is that she is fine watching him from afar but when she comes close up to the star, it is so bright that it hurts to look at it. She falls unconscious again on the table. TK says to the sleeping MN that he waited so that he could grab onto her but now because she said that, he cant grab onto her anymore. He wipes the tears from her face. He asks manager ma to take MN home. Manager ma is like if you send her away now you might never see her again beause she’s going to africa. But TK is unmoved. Manager ma drives MN home. During the trip, MN wakes up. Manager ma gives her tickets for the A.N.Jell concert and says that she needs to see her brother’s performance before going. MN however says that the concert si on the same day that she’s leaving and that she dosent know what time her flight is or sth.

TK takes the pig rabbit doll from his room and says to it, now that i am ended my feelings i have to get rid of you as well. As he walks throug the house, he remembers trying to unglue MN’s fingers and then in the piano room when they sang together and give her a kiss on her hand. (OMFG I SCREAMD HERE! i’m so happy they put this cut scene back into here!!!) Then he finally takes the pig rabbit to the present room and says that there was a one and only pig rabbit who appeared in front of me and now there is goign to be no more.

Next day, MN is sitting on the bench outside and one of the kids she’s been teaching comes up to her. The kid has colleted another picture of a star to give to her. The kid says sth about how the moon is a star but Mn corrects her and says that the moon is not a star. The kid says are there stars only at night, what baout during the day? MN says that the sun is a star

MN meets with her aunt. Her aunt says there are so many ppl who want to see her – jeremy and SW ask her about MN everyday. And that there is one more person who wants to see her but she’s not sure whether she should ask. Turns out MHR wants to see MN. MN goes to meet MHR and MHR says that she thought she wasnt goign to meet her. MHR wanted to see MN to give her a cd of MN’s mother’s songs taht she tried very hard to get hold of. That at least MN would be able to hear her mother’s voice. MHR confesses that GJH never even once wavered to leave her mother for MHR. MN says thank you for saying taht but taht is what she had always believed. MHR says taht her mother would have known as well, tha GJH had loved her and not MHR. MN says that it’s fortunate she could hear those words from MHR before she left. MHR asks if she must leave because if she does then TK might never talk to her again. MHR says that nowadays TK ignores her totally and that taht has never happened before. MHR apologises to MN and hopes that if MN forgives her then TK woul not ignore her anymore. Then she asks if MN can ask TK for her to forgive her. MN tells MHR to do it herself, that TK has always missed MHR.

On the concert day, TK is walking with jeremy and jeremy asks sth about the pig rabbit (cant remember) and TK says that there is going to be no such thing anymore because he’s ended everything. Jeremy finds out that TK has not told MN that he had been waiting for her. Jeremy gets really angry and says waiting and not telling her is the same as not waiting at all, you stupid idiot!! (omg how come even jeremy can understand this reasoning but TK cant???) Jeremy storms off. In the dressing room, TK tells SW that he’s ended everything because MN said that she is still hurting when she sees him up close. SW gets angry too, have you ever tried to grab onto her? SW says taht because he tried everything, in the end he was able to let her go. But TK hasnt even tried and SW says fine, just continue to sit there alone in ur world (sth along those lines cant remember). TK sees HY outside and also tells HY that everything is ended. HY uses what TK said to her earlier back to him and says that he’s lying. That he’s not embarrassed he’s lying but that he will be later when he’s telling the truth. Tk keeps walking and sees president ahn with MHR. MHR talks to TK alone and MHR says to TK that she came to ask for his forgiveness. She says she konws taht TK might not accept it but she owuld say it anyway. She says Sorry, Tae Kyung. TK is surprised taht MHR really came to apologise and asks why she’s suddenly like that. MHR says taht she talked to MN who told her to come ask for his forgiveness herself. She knows taht TK wont recognise her as a mother and taht she might not have the right to say such a thing but she says to TK that she hopes TK wont regret about losing the person he loves. That he should grab onto the one he loves because abandoning, letting go of the one he loves is not real love. TK says i cant say taht i’ve forgiven you now, and i will hear u say it later then calls her mother before he leaves. As TK is walking along, he thinks of what everyone has been saying to him and goes to ask manager ma where MN is. Manager ma announces to everyone else that TK has gone to pick up his lover.

TK goes to the school/church that MN has been living at and asks the kids inside where gemma is. The kids say taht gemma is not here. The kid shows TK the star photos and TK sees that there are stars all over the room. He recalls how MN told him before taht even if she was far away, she would look for stars while thinkign about him. TK is touched. The kid says taht gemma told them though that the coolest star though was somewhere else and taht gemma had gone t see the star today.

TK rushes back tot eh concert venue. He rushes onto the stage to look into the audience but doesnt see MN. He goes back backstage and tells everyone that MN has come and is somewhere amongst the audience. TK says i will start first. He goes on and sings “what should i do?; As the song is ending, MN starts to leave and TK says “You’re listening arent you? Please be in a place where i can see you, dont be at a place where i cant see you. I give permission for you to appear in front of me (coz he said before he doesnt want to see her). ” MN is touched and turns around and starts walking toward the stage. SW at the back tells them to turn the lights on. The lights go on and TK looks around and spots MN. He goes off the stage and walks towards MN. He walks up to in front of her and hugs her tightly. He says I’m going to tell you everyday but listen carefully, I love you.” (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh)

on the balcony…. TK asks does she really have to go to africa? MN says she will go and come back. TK comments on how the way she talks is not as respectful as she used to be. TK suddenly pretends to pick a star from the sky and gives it to MN. He opens his palm and we see the star necklace. He gives it to MN. MN is excited coz it’s a star. TK wants to take it back but MN refuses to. TK points to another direction and says look there’s a star and while MN looks he pulls her towards him.

No início da quarta temporada de Heroes surgiu o boato de que um personagem central morreria nos novos episódios. No início de novembro, seu nome foi finalmente revelado, causando polêmica entre os fãs da série. O criador de Heroes, Tim Kring, comentou a respeito em entrevista ao site “TV Guide”.

Em relação à saída definitiva de Nathan Petrelli de Heroes, Kring respondeu:

- Nós conversamos abertamente com Adrian Pasdar sobre sua partida há vários meses e o mantivemos a par de todos os acontecimentos. Ele sempre soube o que estava acontecendo.

O criador também desmentiu o boato de que o ator estaria magoado com isso:

- Ele é muito amado por todos nós e esse boato depreciativo sobre a maneira de como as coisas foram tratadas não poderia estar mais longe da verdade. Adrian é um líder entre o elenco, um verdadeiro amigo e um cavalheiro.

Por fim, ele revelou que o Senador terá “um grande funeral para o mundo ver”.

Nathan está “oficialmente” morto desde o final da terceira temporada, Fugitivos, quando Sylar cortou sua garganta. Mas Matt Parkman fez uma lobotomia no vilão e o fez crer que era o primogênito dos Petrelli.

Tercera edición de las Preguntaspoilers, esta semana, como todos sabéis y si no lo sabéis os lo digo no hemos tenido capítulo ni de Mujeres Desesperadas y ni de Gossip Girl, pero no importa nada. Analizaremos el resto, con una incorporación GLEE, una super serie que ya comentaré a parte otro día en un post especial tan solo para ella. Comenzamos:

1. Preguntas V 1×04: Hasta marzo no tendremos nuevos capítulos y el último me dejó un buen sabor de boca pero, ¿Cuándo veremos un jodido lagarto, que llevo haciendo la misma pregunta tres semanas?, ¿Cómo reaccionará Erica cuando se entere de que su hijo anda liado con una lagarta?, ¿Cómo se juntarán los miembros de la Quinta Columna para alzarse en armas contras los V?

2. Preguntas FlashForwad 1×09: El último episodio en mi opinión fue un poco coñazo y las últimas noticias han sido que van a paralizar el rodaje de la serie para que los guionistas mejoren la historia, ¿nos vendieron la moto como la nueva “Lost” y ahora se han dado cuenta de que está muy lejos de las expectativas creadas?, ¿Porqué no nos dan alguna pista ya sobre las causas del desmayo?, ¿Volverá la emoción de los primeros episodios?

3. Preguntas House M.D. 6×08: Acción de gracias, como en el resto de series y un House enamorado hasta las trancas que no es capaz de declararse en condiciones, ¿no os da rabia de que House guarde tanto sus emociones?, ¿ganaría la serie, más de lo que ya es, si liasen a House con Cuddy?

4. Preguntas Dexter 4×09: Tres capítulos nos quedan de esta temporada y no se si quiero que acaben de una vez por todas con la serie o que sigan mostrándonos al gran Dexter Morgan realizando lo que mejor sabe hacer… ¿Qué pasará cuando se entere Dexter de que el vecino besó a Rita?, ¿Fue la “PUTA” periodista la que disparó a Morgan?, ¿No os quedásteis de piedra, como yo, al ver los ultimos cinco segundos del capítulo?

5. Pregunta Heroes 4×11: Deseando que acabe la serie para que no la critiquen mas, aunque a mí esta temporada me está gustando más que la tercera… ¿Encontrará Hiro a Charlie?, ¿Veremos alguna escena subidita de tono entre Claire y Gretchen?, ¿Por cuánto tiempo más podremos ver a Nathan?, ¿Acabrá conviertiéndose en el malvadísimo Sylar?

6. Preguntas Grey´s Anatomy 6×10: Ultimamente ver Anatomía de Grey me deprime, estos capítulos con niños a punto de morir me dan mal rollo… ¿Largarán al jefe cuándo todo el mundo se entere de que es un borrachuzo?, ¿Cuánto tiempo estará Izzie fuera esta vez? y no se me ocurren más…

7. Pregunta GLEE (por ahora no voy a ritmo americano): ¿No os alegra ver esta serie? Esta es mi pregunta hasta que enganche con USA.

8. Pregunta Psychoville: ¿Habéis visto esta serie? En caso de que sea negativa la respuesta, ¿A que estáis esperando? Darle una oportunidad, si los diez primeros minutos no la tragáis tirarla, sino verla hasta el final.

9. Pregunta Lost 6ª Temporada: ¿Acabaré con muñones en las manos de tanto morderme las uñas a la espera de la nueva temporada?

Aunque todavía nos queda bastante para ver las nuevas aventuras de Harry Potter en la gran pantalla, con este poster promocional que han lanzado de la séptima película nos dan los argumentos necesarios para seguir ansiando que llegue ya el día escogido.

Con tres simples frases nos resumen lo que podría contemplar como el argumento principal de la película “One way, one fate, one hero” (Un camino, un destino, un héroe). Y es que los que hayáis leído los libros sabéis por dónde van los derroteros, pero quedaros sobre todo con “UN HEROE”… ¿qué sucederá al final?

Avisar a todos que el último libro de la saga llamado “Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte” finalmente se ha dividido en lo que serán dos adaptaciones al cine. Se ha hecho de esta manera para evitar la eliminación de aspectos importantes de la trama por lo que tendremos “Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte, Parte I” para el día 19 de noviembre de 2010 y “Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte, Parte II” para el 15 de julio de 2011. Algo que aunque suena a seguir estirando el tirón que tiene Harry Potter en el cine, viene muy bien ya que del último libro no pueden saltarse nada de importancia, ya que podrían cargarse el final.

Como sinopsis general (spoilers) a Harry se le impone la tarea de encontrar y destruir todos los horrocruxes para acabar con Lord Voldemort. Emprenderá un viaje, junto con Ron y Hermione, por toda Inglaterra para hallar los objetos que contienen fragmentos del alma del Señor Tenebroso. Pero las cosas se empezaran a complicar ya que cada minuto que pasa éste se hace más y más poderoso.

El argumento se ve emocionante pero solo espero que no hagan tan malos resúmenes como en las dos últimas películas donde la trama principal quedo a un lado por los “amoríos” de los jóvenes protagonistas. ¿Quién tiene ganas de verla? Yo sí.

Oh, la cita de Emerson.

Me hizo detenerme.

Me hizo respirar.

¿No les hace eso respirar algo diferente, tan solo por un minuto? Esa cita fue mi regalo para ustedes, tal y como fue un regalo para mi. Y viendo el tema del episodio del Jueves, que fue un regalo, parece apropiado.

¿Saben cual fue el mas grande regalo de ‘Holidaze’?

Sara Ramirez cantando Noche de paz a capella, mientras Chandra Wilson representaba a una sentida Bailey, quien le aclaraba unas cuantas cosas a su padre en la cena de navidad. Momentos como esos, regalos como esos…

Me hacen amar mi trabajo aun mas. En toda mi vida, nunca habia visto una actuación tan poderosa como la de Sara Ramirez cantando en vivo. Espero que algun dia puedan verla, pero  hasta entonces, esta sera su primera probada.

Eso fue un ataque de la genio de Shonda –su pequeño regalo de Navidad para mi, me gusta pensar eso, aunque realmente, probablemente su intención fue regalarselo a todos ustedes. Aún asi, estoy agradecida.

El otro regalo de esta escena fue que me tocó escribir las palabras de Bailey y ponerlas en TV. Esas palabras fueron importantes para mi. Sin llegar a algo muy personal, admitiré que hay ciertas cosas sobre mi vida ahí, que se reflejaron en la vida de Bailey. Si es que han leido el Blog de los escritores,  sabran que nosotros frecuentemente nos basamos en nuestras vidas personales para inventar historias, que les contamos cada semana. (Como yo escribi esta, Joan Rater está en el cuarto de escritores, interpretando dramaticamente uno de sus favoritos momentos de la vida con Tony Phelan -y nuestro escritor asistente, Austin, tratando de mantener la paz y escribirlo todo. Y Bill Harper hace acentos raros, lo cual es realmente extraño.)

Mi punto es, tiendo a poner algo de mi vida para llevarles drama cada semana. En este episodio, por ejemplo, cuando las chicas hablan sobre escalar el Inca Trail, es porque yo escalé el Inca Trail, por lo que sé como describirlo.  (Soy reacia a buscar informacion, asi que cada vez que escribo,es sobre lo que sé, y escojo eso.) Y cuando Bailey defiende su decisión de dejar a su esposo quien no estaba apoyandola,  que eso ya no era un ejemplo que ella queria que su hijo viera… No me estoy metiendo en mi vida personal, pero solo digo, que yo estuve feliz de poder poner esas palabras en televisión.

Bailey no necesita ser reprimida por su padre, ven eso? Porque Bailey… Se saca la mugre para estar donde esta. Pero eso fue bueno, la manera en que su papá le habla en el final. Y creo que él estaba en lo correcto de que Bailey debió contarle que estaba separandose de su esposo.

Esta bien, ¿Qué mas puedo decirles?

Me encantaría darles datos sobre las grabaciones del episodio, pero tengo gripe y en todo el tiempo que estuvieron grabando a penas estuve ahi.

Oh! Ya sé! Hablemos del hecho de que los personajes pasaron sus primeras vacaciones sin Izzie! Las personas que Twittean han estado impacientes estas ultimas semanas -Cómo pudiste!? me preguntan. Izzie ama las vacaciones!Y a ustedes les digo… lo sé. Siento su dolor. Yo escribí las vacaciones pasadas. Recuerdo vividametne cuando Izzie ayudó a Alex a estudiar para sus examenes, porque, “Es lo que Jesus haria jodidamente!” Recuerdo cuando ella y George y Meredith se acostaron bajo el arbol de navidad, mirando las luces. Extrañé su locura en este episodio y saben que mas extrañe? Aun que él no hablara  sobre ello? Alex.  Eso es el por qué él no quería cantar en el quirofano. Es el por qué no apareció en casa de Meredith para la cena. Eso partió mi corazon, la manera en que ella lo dejó, y eso es el por qué ella no apareció en las vacaciones. Creo que él pensó que aparecería. Porque Izzie AMA las vacaciones. Pero no apareció y si, eso es horrible.

Pero no estamos hablando sobre lo malo, estamos apreciando la belleza de lo bueno, asi que vamos a hablar de el trio navideño constituido por el Jefe/Arizona/Owen! Debo admitir, nunca habia amado tanto algo cotidiano. Debo haberlos visto cantar esa cancion por 20 minutos sin parar. Eso fue realmente un regalo durante mi estado de miseria por la gripe.

Ellos levantaron mi corazon y me hicieron sentir flotando por horas. Espero que esa escena provocara el mismo efecto en ustedes. Y ya que estamos apreciando la belleza de lo bueno… ¿Podemos hablar del SEXY SEXY SEXY beso entre Owen y Cristina? Oh,Dios mio. Soy como una pequeña fan, no puedo evitarlo. Y que me dicen de la escena cuando Owen susurra en la boca de Teddy, “Estoy enamorado de Cristina.” Yo escribí eso. Me lo imaginé. Pero cuando lo vi? Seriamente vomite un poco en mi boca. Fue tan BRUTAL – y lo que es más brutal es que Owen no quiso ser brutal. Él claramente las quiere a ambas. Lo cual es…imposible. Y devastador. y BRUTAL. Quiero decir -¿Cómo puede Teddy no amarlo? juegan un momento, torturadamente se susurran en la boca del otro y luego… cómo eso terminara? Sigo sin saber. Digo, no lo sé. Estamos un poco atrasados en el cuarto de los escritores. Pero estoy tan emocionada como ustedes. Ya veremos como termina todo eso!

Hubo tanto en este episodio -Mark Sloan convirtiendose en el abuelo más sexy en televisión y Meredith haciendo un trato con el diablo y Arizona y Derek y Mark poniendo su dinero para salvar la vida de un niño. Eso hizo mi corazon feliz, esa historia. Y entonces la historia de la mujer sin corazon por todo ese tiempo, sobreviviendo. Ambos casos fueron un regalo para ustedes, para enviarlos durante la temporada de vacaciones junto con esperanza y optimismo.

Mi amigo Peter me llamó el otro día y cuando le dije “Cómo estas?” Él dijo, “Estoy tratando, activamente, de renovar mi destino y mi esperanza y mi alegria y mi optimismo. Todos se han iso, lo cual no esta bien para mi.” Amo a Peter. Amo cuando su destino se pierde, y él no se sienta a sentir pena por si mismo. Él continua en contra de rocas y piedras, buscandolo. Él reza y llama amigos y dice en voz alta lo que está sintiendo. Lo cual es, en si, demostrar que su destino no esta tan lejos como imagina.

Ese es el sentimiento que espero el episodio les haya dejado. Que los milagros son posibles…Que una simple canción puede levantar tu espiritu… Que hablar con la verdad, o abriendo tu chequera, o ofreciendo una simple disculpa o intentando que otro entienda tu punto de vista, puede cambiar todo tu día o todo tu año. Que la vida no siempre ocurre de la manera que uno espera o planea, pero que eso no importa. Como recibimos lo que la vida nos arroja en el camino es lo que importa.

Here’s a summary/ spoilers of you’re beautiful ep. 15. Keep on reading if you want to know what happened…if you don’t wanna know, stop now. XD

EPISODE 15 SUMMARY

MN sits by herself and cries while SW looks on at her shadow.. MN says to herself…that it is because of TK’s mother that her mother was abandoned… and that from now she wont be able to see her star..TK is also sitting in the dark, he says “It’s too dark, i cant see anything. That’s it, I’ll just pretend it’s too dark so i wont see anything”

SW suggests to manager Ma that he thinks it’s a better idea to send MN to somewhere far away in advance because reporter kim wants an interview with mi nyeo and mi nam together. manager ma remembers that there was an autogrpah session in japan which they had rejected before. So he quickly arranges for them to take it up. SW says plz arrange it so that we can leave as soon as possible. SW tells TK and TK says he will go to Japan after them. SW says then we will take MN with us then. Manager ma is with MN in her room packing to go to japan and Manager tells her to think of it as a last trip as ANJell. He tells her taht she doesnt have to pack everything in one go though, that she can come back later and do it, it’s not like she cant come back anymore. MN says no, she wants to pack it all now. Afterwards, she walks out of her room with her luggage and bumps into TK. She says i’m going and TK walks off. SW comes to help her with her luggage

Reporter kim confronts HY about MN and asks if MN is a girl. He asks her whether jeremy, SW and TK all know as well? HY keeps saying she doesnt konw anything, that if he is curious, he can go and ask them himself. But the reporter doesnt give up, he says that it’s not go mi nam he cares about, he wants to go after the big names, HY, TK, SW etc and that HY is not going to be able to get out of it. He keeps interogating her then HY suddenly faints. Someone else sees and gets help. Reporter kim knows that HY is probably faking it so he talks to her (cant remember what he said already). HY nods while still pretending to be unconscious.

HY goes to look for TK and asks TK if he would like to go to XX (couldnt catch the place, just know it’s overseas) with her and TK says do u think i would go with you? HY says that if ppl really think we are together, then even if they find out MN is a girl then nothing will happen to you. TK says the real go mi nam is coming back soon so you dont need to worry. And while we’re at it, let’s end our relationship. Since you said you wanted to end it yourself, decide how you want to end it and just let me know. He starts to walk away and HY yells at him, how can you not know at all what i’m really thinking. TK says it’s coz you’re not even embarrassed about lying (or sth like that). HY cries and says to herself, do you know how scary my fans are (like if she said that he broke up with her or sth)

MHR is talking to president Ahn, she likes how the remake sounds and thinks that it sounds sophiscated and trendy. President Ahn comments that he heard how this song was originally made for someone else, a newcomer and not MHR. MHR gets very sensitive and angry and gets up and denies that. She says that it is her song. The other guy there says but i heard from Mr kim (that other singer TK talk to about GJH before) the song was made for someone else. MHR anyway says that i havent thanked TK about this song yet, where is he. She goes to find him in the studio and says to TK that that night she was very drunk, that she didnt intend for it to happen that way. TK asks MHR if MN knows about her mother and who she is. MHR says that she doesnt think MN wants to hear about her mother from her. Before she leaves tho, TK stops her and asks MHR who MN’s mother was. That MN knows nothing about her mother and that at least she should know a name. TK gets a photo and a name , Lee shin soo (i think)

MHR goes to find singer Mr Kim and confronts him about what she’s heard. She said taht the song was made for her. At first mr kim is still calm and says that he remembers GJH telling him that the song was made for the woman he loved. But then he gets irritated and says, look, the song was made for the woman he loved who had misunderstood the relationship between you and him, for her to come back to him. But you snatched the song and made it your own. He leaves irritated.

Jeremy, SW, MN, manager ma and wang coordi arrive in japan first. Because there is no schedule on the first day they have free time. Reporter kim has followed them along to japan hoping to get some evidence. Jeremy asks SW if something has happened between MN and TK and SW says let’s jsut pretend we dont know anything. Manager ma and wang coordi are in the pool, relaxing. Wang coordi comments that TK is not a very good person to marry and manager ma was like that’s why i was so shocked when i found out. Wang coordi says, women like to marry ppl like jeremy, interesting and fun. Manager ma says, even though it’s a bit late, should i try to set them up? Then they imagine a scene where jeremy and MN are sitting by the piano and singing a song. After the song, Mn gives jeremy a kiss and they squeeze each other cheeks while saying “you’re cute”. Snapping back to reality, manager mays but that is so immature. Wang coordi says then SW would be a good choice as well, smooth and romantic. They imagine MN lying down reading a book and SW making her coffee then them kissing and MN telling SW not to make anyone else coffee. Manager thinks that’s too mushy but wang coordi thinks it’s romantic. Then they imagine what would happen with TK and MN. They imagine that TK and MN are at the church about to get married and TK says know that it’s an honour for you to marry me. MN says thanks alot, hyung nim then she asks him, from now on what should i call you? Hubby? Dear? TK is like i’m the one to decide, dont step into it. He storms outside and MN follows and says what type of wedding is this, i’m not getting married. TK says good, you’re out, then walks off. MN chases after him. Wang coordi and manager ma are sitting in the spa pool together and things get a bit hot… LOL XD

MN, SW and jeremy are at the beach. Mn says that it’s her first time to see the sea up close with her own eyes. She says taht the ocean seems big and far away. (cant remmeber exactly what was said) Jeremy says sth like that even though it’s far away, liek the bus it will go back to its original spot. MN says but since it’s so big, it will take a long time (argh not reall making sense btu when i watched it it really made sense lol). MN walks towards the water and SW grabs her arm and tells her not to go. MN asks him not to grab onto her anymore…. that she wants to wet her feet coz it’s her first time at the sea. reporter kim looks on.

MN is in her room and she is trying to learn some phrases in japanese. She has planned to stay in japan for now and is wondering if the amount of japanese she knows and the money she has would be adequate. She gets a call from SW to meet up.

TK has arrived at the hotel in japan and sees manager ma, he asks him where MN is and manager ma says, she’s around somewhere. TK goes off to find MN. Manager ma thinks that TK and MN had a fight but that TK has come and straight away looked for MN to make up with her. So he plans another event.

MN goes to meet SW at the church (at the hotel). SW says to MN you can see my expression and everything well here. MN says that he can also see her clearly too. SW asks do you know ehn i first found out you were a girl? MN says wasnt it at the MV screening? SW says do you remember the story i made up about me and you? Do you remember when i first met her? MN recalls the story and realises that SW knew of her identity back there at the rooftop. SW then says do you remember the story i told you of a person in an organisation who had a secret to keep from everyone else and that someone else helped her out behind her back? He reveals taht it was his story, that he knew from long time ago and that all this time he has been watching over her, that that day at the restaurant when he was goign to show her the girl he liked, that the girl he liked was her. SW says I’ve been watching over you and i will continue to watch over you, so dont hide away where i cant see you, look at me. TK in the meantime has found them and looks on in from outside. SW sees him and hugs MN. TK glares at them then goes away. After awhile, MN tells SW to let go of her. She thanks him for watching and helping her all this time but says taht she doesnt want to continue in this way, to cause him more pain. She leaves and SW says to himself crying, that there is nothing left for him to grab onto.

TK uses the reception desk phone to ring manager ma and asks him to give something important to MN. Manager ma tells TK to come find him and TK asks where are you? Wang coordi gets MN and tells her that TK is here and was looking for her. TK goes to the aquarium to wait for manager ma but mN shows up. MN says to TK, i heard that you were looking for me. TK says yes i was, i have something to give to you. MN says i will get that thing from you quickly and go. TK says what’s the rush, you’re busy? is someone waiting for you? MN says it’s coz you said that you dont want to see me, so i’ll go out of your sight asap. TK says geez you’re worrying about me, you dont have to think about me, if you have time, have a look around here, there’s alot of fish here. MN doesnt say anything and TK says, didnt you say you were going to go then? MN says dont you have something to give to me? TK snaps back to reality (haha he’s being jealous in the midst of all this) and gives MN an envelope. Mn takes out the photo and TK tells her that the photo is of her mother and tells her her name. MN cant control her emotions and starts crying… so you’re syaing this is my mother? And her name is xxx
TK gives MN the remake of the song to listen to. Mn asks if TK found out about this from MHR and TK says why dont u go and ask her yourself, since you should be getting along with her. MN says how can I get along with her? Because of her, my mother was abandoned by my father and she left, give birth to us alone and died. I’m sorry that before you looked too sad, i couldnt tell you that i knew MHR was your mother. Because of the situation, i couldnt tell you that the song u were remaking was my father’s. I’m sorry. She comments on how TK only thinks about his own pain but does not see hers. That he must have felt alot of pain being abandoned. She says that she knows TK feels pain when he sees her but that it is also hard for her to look at him. That from now on, they are not going to be around each other to look at each other in pain coz she’s going to be far away. Then she leaves

Next day, the 4 of them are at the autogrpah session. Afterwards, MN and jeremy are in a shop looking at glassware. MN takes out her polaroid camera and asks Jeremy if she can take a photo of him and jeremy says that it costs money to ask him to be a model. Jeremy asks should i give you a cute pose, or a sexy one or a wild one? While he is deciding, MN takes a photo. She says that she likes the usual jeremy as he is the most. As jeremy walks off looking at something else, MN says in her mind, thank you for always making me laugh

Next at a cafe, Mn is looking at SW who is sitting by himself staring off into space. She orders a coffee and brings it over to SW. She says that SW has comforted her warmly all this time. SW picks up the coffee and comments that it’s warm. MN asks if he’s ok and SW says that he’s been rejected by her so many times hes ok. He asys let’s eat the cake together (it’s a relief to see the atmosphere between the 2 finally relax a bit)

At the airport, we find out that MN is going to stay in japan and manager ma says that’s a good idea to stay away from everything for a bit, one week, 2 weeks before everything is settled in korea.
TK meanwhile goes back to korea first by himself. He bumps into MHR and president Ahn at the company. President ahn tells him that they are going to record the song now and asks if he wants to come. TK says i’m not going and walks off. He then bumps into the other guy who went with him to meet up the singer Mr kim before. He tells TK that coz of MHR he just got told off by Mr Kim. That MHR wanted to get back with GJH but GJH’s lover had misunderstood that and left him instead. That the song was snatched by MHR and made hers. TK storms off to the recording studeio where MHR is. He is angry and talks to her through the mic, he says the song was not yours right? He didnt love you, it’s all a lie. MHR starts crying and TK leaves.

TK goes to the airport. Meanwhile SW, jeremy and the rest have arrived back in korea. the real MN is lying on a bench waiting. Ppll recognise him as go mi nam. Manager ma gets a call from MN that he’s here. HY is at the airport as well (think she’s leaving oversase for that thing that she asked TK to go with her before). She sees that TK is at the airport and knows that MN and the rest, together with reporter kim should be arriving back about now. She goes up the escalator and wants to run away from them. But then she pauses and decides that she has to help TK and goes back down. So manager ma and jeremy + SW come out. manager ma spots the real MN (GMN for short from now) and yells out “Mi nam ah!” The reporter sees and walks towards GMN faster than manager ma. TK and HY are also in the vicinity and turn and walk towards GMN. reporter kim walks ahead of everyone and pulls the hood and jacket off GMN and says, go mi nam, you’re a girl! But since it’s the real GMN, it’s a guy of course. GMN looks at reporter kim and says, who the hell are you? reporter kim is shocked that it’s really a guy. HY comes over and says, reporter kim asked me if you were a girl, how funny huh? manager ma says, ah it’s because they are twins, that’s why you’re confused and drags him away. GMN extends his hand and says, nice to meet you in a very cool way. Jeremy says you guys look the same and SW says but the atmosphere is totally different. TK asks SW where MN is and they tell him taht MN is staying in japan.

Next we see MN in japan dragging along her suitcase. She says i should have caught a taxi, didnt konw it was this far. SHe sees a taxi and flags it down. The taxi stops and out comes TK. They face each other and TK tells her that he found out about the truth behind her parents and his mother’s relationship. MN says that it’s a relief taht her father didnt abandon her mother. And she asks TK a favour, to make sure that MHR doesnt sing the song again because she doesnt want the song to be snatched away by MHR again. TK promises her. TK says that he is sorry, that she’s right, he only thought about his own pain.. that if he had stopped to look, he would have realised that she was the one who was experiencing more pain. MN says she cant say that she is ok at the moment, that for her now, it’s still very painful. She starts to walk off but TK grabs her hand. MN says that one day, somewhere in the future when she feels that it is ok, she will tell him then. She frees her hand and walks away. TK cries TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT (i’m so heartbroken watching him like this TTTT i think there are more lines to this convo but i cant remember atm)

There is a time jump and we see newspaper articles.. HY has announced her breakup with TK and the real GMN has gone into action. Outside the company, fans are chanting… and they are commenting how lately they are really into GMN. How GMN has the charisma of TK, is smooth and talks well like SW and cute like jeremy. In the house, Mn’s aunt is talking ot manager ma. She thinks back tot he time when MN was around how jeremy always held celebration parties and how SW would pour her tea etc. Manager ma says that GMN should know where MN was right? MN’s aunt says that he should but MN told him not to tell anyone so she doesnt know either. manager ma says that GMN really listens to MN because she put up with so much for him.

In the van, jeremy, SW and TK are talking. Jeremy says that GMN keeps using his motorbike which annoys him. He’s on the ANjell fan cafe and reads out loud that there’s a post by someone called Pig rabbit with the title “I’m ok”. TK snatches his laptop off him and clicks into the post. It is of MN saying “what should i do?” with her side of her face facing the camera. Tk tells jeremy and SW that this si MN. Jeremy says that the vid was just uplaoded from some noraebang.. and that lately there are lots of noraebangs taht allow you to record yourself singing and upload online straightaway there. So they contact manager ma who tells them that he found out it’s a noraebang from hong dae (the area around teh hong ik university in seoul where there are lots of young ppl). They head to hongdae to look for MN. TK at first stays in the car and he says to himself, you said you will tell me when you’re ok, so this is the way you tell me? He’s annoyed. He says, FINE then i wont see you. I just wont see you then. he repeats few times then says i cant NOT see you. He gets off the van and goes searching for her as well.

the 3 of them walk around looking for MN while screaming fan girls follow them around. MN meanwhile is walking in the area as well

Para todos aquellos que pidieron una reseña justa de Modern Warfare 2, compartiré con ustedes mis puntos de vista sobre las cuestiones básicas que a todos nos interesan como son el gameplay, los gráficos, el sonido y la historia en la que incluyo varios spoilers por lo que por primera vez desde que posteo en FBP, usaré eso de Leer Más y así no echarle a perder las cosas a aquellos que todavía están por comprar el juego.

Comencemos por lo básico: Advertir que esta reseña es una crítica de todo el juego que se sustenta en la experiencia particular de un servidor quien se dio a la tarea de jugar el juego varias veces fijándose en cada detalle para no hacer una reseña sensacionalista o de esas que por favoritismo digan que el juego es un 10 perfecto sólo por que a mí me guste. Además reconozco que soy bien fan de CoD 4: Modern Warfare… OJO, me refiero al juego anterior y como fan de este juegazo es que he pasado por la lupa a su hermano más joven.

Lo que más me impresionó de aquel juego fue básicamente su gameplay frenético que venía acompañado de una fabulosa historia, contada de manera magistral, valiéndose de una narrativa visual que no se había visto antes en los juegos FPS. De hecho, ya la hubieran querido tener muchas películas hollywoodenses de hoy en día.

En las lineas sucesivas les contaré por qué considero que MW2 a pesar de su fabuloso multiplayer y las típicas adiciones y embellecimiento que acompañan a cada nueva entrega, falló en mostrarme más de lo que me hizo disfrutar tanto de su antecesor…

Si lo de ustedes no es desmenuzar un juego para ver qué le falta y qué se puede mejorar y son felices con las cosas así como las reciben, háganse un favor y no sigan leyendo, ahórrense el entripado que seguramente van a hacer si no hacen caso…

Gráficos

El juego luce muy bien, mas no excelente, el modelado de los personajes principales sigue siendo muy bueno, lleno de detalles en sus uniformes y las armas que portan. La iluminación es sobresaliente sobre todo en lugares oscuros donde se filtra la luz ya que podrás ver cómo al caminar bajo la luz pierdes foco de lo que permance en las sombras y al salir de ella tu vista “se ajusta” de nuevo a la poca luz. El efecto aunque sutil, es inteligente y le agrega algo de “realismo”.

Lo triste del asunto es que la mayoría de las texturas están ahí sólo para cumplir con su cometido de revestir los elementos que componen los escenarios de la mejor manera posible pero como suele ocurrir en los FPS, siempre son texturas en resolución inferior que al acercarse pierden definición y lucen terriblemente pixeladas como también sucede con las sombras de todo lo que se mueve en el ambiente del juego ya que sufren de un terrible caso de aliasing por lo que no será raro que te sorprendas al ver que por el reflejo de tu sombra, tu personaje quizá esté armado con Legos…

Otros varios elementos en el juego sufren del síndrome LOW RES y si no, cuando pasen por las misiones en el bosque nevado, se darán cuenta de que el follaje de los pinos en realidad son elementos en 2D por los que puedes atravesar cual fantasma y que estos no son afectados en absoluto por la física ya que sólo están ahí porque “deben” estar ahí. Así también pasa con el pasto y las hierbas en el nivel “Hidden” del modo Spec Ops donde revives la misión Ghillies in the Mist de CoD4.

Para rematar, serás testigo del efecto Wolverine en las paredes y demás estructuras sobre las que puedas rociar balas ya que tras unos segundos de inactividad aquello que habías dejado como verdadera coladera de la nada habrá regenerado por completo su estructura sin dejar huella alguna de haber sido baleado con singular alegría apenas unos segundos antes.

Las animaciones son prácticamente las mismas del juego anterior, por lo que verás a los soldados corriendo, saltando, agachándose y cayendo abatidos prácticamente de la misma forma que lo hacían antes. Se nota que trabajaron un poco más en lo que se refiere a las animaciones faciales, pero al final, se siguen viendo igual de acartonadas.

Como en todos los FPS de alto nivel, al seguir el ritmo que te impone el juego estarás tan ocupado disparando y salvando el pellejo, que ni siquiera notarás todos estos detalles que ahora comento. No es sino hasta la tercera o cuarta vez que lo juegas en que comienzas a apreciarlos y divertirte con ellos. La onda de la sangre espaturrada en tu pantalla como indicador de daño, la verdad sí saca de balance y como muchos han mencionado a lo largo y ancho de la Internet eso distrae mucho.

Aunque el trabajo en el departamento gráfico se cumple, no puedes dejar de preguntarte si algún día veremos un juego FPS que lleve al siguiente nivel la calidad y profundidad lo que se refiere a este aspecto, en donde todos los elementos del mundo del juego verdaderamente se comporten como lo harían sus contrapartes reales. Kudos para MGS 3 y 4 donde incluso el pasto crecido era arrancado ante una buena ráfaga de metralla o veíamos al hielo derretirse ante nuestros ojos. En menor medida pero igual de sorprendente para su época fue lo logrado en el juego de EA: BLACK que comenzó a desarrollar la idea de lo caótico de una balacera a gran escala donde el polvo y el humo jugaban un papel importante en la estrategia que debías aplicarle al juego, además de que la fricción entre el plomo de las balas y las estructuras metálicas creaba chispas bastante realistas y espetaculares.

Historia

La historia de MW2 es en síntesis, una copia de lo que ocurrió en CoD4, pero diluída, simple y vertiginosa. Es decir, ahí están los mismos elementos, pero contados de una forma breve, sin pasión, en momentos híper simplificada y menos atractiva… ¿Dónde quedó el suspenso, dónde está el drama bélico que te hacía quedarte sentado al filo de tu asiento con ganas de saber qué sería lo siguiente en pasar?

Para empezar, hay que decir que 5 años han pasado y McTavish ahora es capitán, bueno una copia carbón de Price, ya que nos lo presentan igualito, fumando habanos, llamando muppets a los enemigos y salvándonos de cuando en cuando… ¡Qué original!

Aunque MW2 está atiborrado de momentos que intentan ponerse a la par de los acontecimientos de CoD 4, me da la impresión de que quisieron hacer la historia tan dramática, que se les pasó la mano y lejos de desarrollarla de modo que te permitiera involucrarte y engancharte con la causa que persigues y luchar por hacer pagar al villano al tiempo de sobrevivir a todos los obstáculos, lo único que lograron fue “quemar” giros de tuerca y elementos argumentales que bien llevados, pudieron habernos hecho exclamar constantemente: NO MAAAAAAA… ¡QUE CHINGÓN!

Pero no fue así y después de participar en una masacre de civiles en un aeropuerto moscovita y ver cómo tu personaje muere asesinado como parte de un complot para inculpar a los Estados Unidos por el acto terrorista equivalente a la detonación de la bomba nuclear que mata a tu personaje y otros 30 mil marines en el Medio Oriente, debes ir a la caza de un traficante de armas en Río de Janeiro como lo haces para ubicar y capturar a Al-Asad en CoD4, y entonces el momento con el mayor potencial dramático, lo que hubiera hecho a muchos quedarse con cara de WTF… Llega viene y se va con el mismo nivel de impacto y dramatismo que hay cuando abres una bolsa de frituras o destapas un refresco:

Los rusos en respuesta a la masacre del Aeropuerto, invaden la misteriosamente deshabitada costa este de Estados Unidos e incluso desbaratan Washington con todo y Casa Blanca pero sin un elemento clave para todo conocedor de este tipo de argumentos: El factor civil. Y es ya para la segunda vuelta, nos detenemos un segundo y pensamos: ¿Dónde “ingaos” está la gente? En Resistance 2 por lo menos sabías que todos los capullos asquerosos alrededor y dentro de los pueblos y ciudades eran en realidad estos habitantes que habían sido capturados por los Chimeran.

Tu cruzada por expulsar al ejército invasor y sus tanquetas que juegan al vándalo disparando a casas abandonadas nomás para quemar municiones y así justificar el viaje, te llevará de una especie de mini mall al aire libre donde tendrás que parapetarte en un restaurante de hamburguesas (heck yeah!) para salvar a un VIP y al final tener a tu disposición el uso de misiles raptor para acabar con tus enemigos (el equivalente al paseo en AC130) hasta otro punto que se antojaba iba a ser súper dramático pero que con lujo de simplicidad se desperdicia… Resulta que te embarcas en una misión casi suicida para recapturar la Casa Blanca de la ocupación rusa y salvarte de un bombardeo nuclear inminente debido a que se considera que Washington ha caído en manos soviéticas… Carajo, eso le salió muy bien a Nicholas Cage en The Rock, pero aquí nomás no se siente tan emocionante.

El drama en estas escenas debería ser GIGANTESCO, carajo después de lo vivido en MW1 uno no puede sino preguntarse: ¿Qué hubiera pasado si como parte de nuestro deber hubiésemos tenido que escoltar y proteger al presidente gringo, qué hubiera pasado si en uno de esos giros de tuerca magistrales uno de los hombres de Shepherd asesinara al presidente, qué hubiera pasado si nos tocara vivir la invasión desde el punto de vista de un policía o un veterano viviendo en los suburbios de Virginia? Lamentablemente nada de eso pasa…

De ahí te tocará ir en busca de un prisionero muy especial que supuestamente puede influir para que Makarov dé la cara y la Fuerza de Tarea 141 lo pueda capturar (equivalente al rescate de Nikolai el informante ruso de CoD4 o de Griggs de los Marines) donde para obtener información en primera instancia, debes infiltrarte en una base disfrazada de plataforma petrolera (equivalente a la infiltración en el buque por parte de la SAS). Ahí te enteras de que el prisionero está encarcelado en un castillo/prisión de altísima seguridad que tomas por asalto y en que te internas cada vez más hasta encontrar al mentado prisionero que es nada más y nada menos que el Capitán Price que sigue vivo… Claro que este giro sí te sorprende, pero ¿cómo lo capturaron y cómo se mantuvo tan cabronamente listo para volver a la acción después de lo que se antojan unos 5 años de encierro? Jamás lo sabremos. El asalto a la prisión es, sin duda uno de los momentos más impactantes y vertiginosos de todo el juego y creo es el único que logró mantener mi atención al 100%.

No sé si me he desensibilizado o de plano la historia de este juego se volvió predecible y plana, pero darse cuenta de que el General Shepherd luego de mandarles en una misión para supuestamente capturar a Makarov y que luego de que encuentran toda la evidencia donde se muestra la planeación del ataque al aeropuerto en Moscú, termina por asesinar a sangre fría a ROACH y GHOST (¿les suena parecido a GAZ? porque el actor de doblaje es el mismito) para luego sádicamente bañarlos en gasolina y quemarlos todavía vivos para demostrar que verdaderamente es un “sonobabich” traidor y mente maestra de todo el borlote, era algo que había cruzado mi mente desde que escuché su discurso al inicio del juego sobre la historia y que quienes la escriben son los que emergen victoriosos de las guerras…

En fin creo que queda claro por qué la historia no se me ha hecho tan buena en esta ocasión…

Sonido

El sonido fue mejorado en muchos aspectos, pero la mezcla en un equipo de sonido dedicado, puede dar resultados un poco variados, mientras que en un Home Theater el 5.1 puede parecer espectacular, no matiza lo suficiente como para identificar con claridad la fuente de los sonidos que escuchas y a veces podrás jurar que algo que está haciendo ruido frente a ti se escucha como si estuviera detrás tuyo.

En cambio, en un equipo con salida Dolby en Estéreo (2 canales), el audio se escucha más limpio a pesar de que carece de la profundidad de las bocinas satelitales…

Las voces de tus compañeros y obviamente lo que dicen tiene una mayor interactividad y utilidad para tus propósitos dentro del juego, si ven a un enemigo te avisan dónde está y eso ayuda mucho para despacharlos rápido.

El doblaje es bastante bueno aunque también descubrirás por qué preferimos que “SOAP” se quede callado y hay detalles que no puedes explicar fácilmente por ejemplo en el caso de la infiltración a la base en el nivel Cliffhanger, a pesar de que parte del nivel se desarrolla en medio de una tormenta de nieve, el viento por violento que sea, no provoca que esuches ningún ruido más que las voces tanto de McTavish, como de los guardias rusos. ¡Qué loco!

Gameplay

Este sin dudas CASI puede considerarse como el papá de los FPS porque la respuesta tan precisa al control  y la velocidad con que puedes reaccionar, lo han hecho legendario… Prácticamente todo aquello que podía ajustarse o mejorarse en cuanto a la jugabilidad de este título, fue mejorado o ajustado para hacer la experiencia más disfrutable, incluso con el ánimo de atraer público nuevo y sin experiencia en esta clase de juegos, en el modo de campaña existe la opción de mira asistida que permite a los usuarios apuntar sin fallo al blanco más cercano simplemente oprimiendo el botón correspondiente.

El multiplayer es sumamente balanceado y permite a jugadores novatos en esta modalidad como un servidor aunque sea dar un poco de pelea y comenzar a sumar puntos para subir de rango y desbloquear los perks, armas y aditamentos de estas armas, títulos, insignias y accolades o “reconocimientos” que obtienes en cada enfrentamiento.

La clave como en todos los FPS en multiplayer es que conozcas el mapa y sepas dónde están los sniping spots, los puntos de respawn de tus enemigos y tengas una buen nivel de habilidad para pegar balazos en las cabezas de tus enemigos o cuentes con los perks y aditamentos adecuados que te ayuden a ser más efectivo. Saber moverse y cuándo hacerlo es crucial para acumular puntos y kills que te permitan usar tus killstreaks y así obtener ventaja sobre tus oponentes.

El matchmaking es hasta eso bastante justo ya que cuando juegas en modos de equipo contra equipo (que no permita Parties), divide a los participantes en dos grupos donde si promedias los niveles de habilidad de cada equipo, obtienes un resultado muy bien balanceado. Eso permite que hasta un noob como yo, al final de la partida pueda ganarse el reconocimiento a haber acabado con todos los miembros del equipo contrario. O haber pegado más headshots con tu sniper.

Los mapas están bien diseñados, con puntos estratégicos pero no invulnerables por lo que pocas veces podrás dedicarte a cazar sigilosamente a tus enemigos sin tener que estar volteando y cuidando tus esquinas, a veces la suerte puede jugar malas pasadas provocando muertes de esas que te hacen rabiar cuando te las aplican y reirte de aquellos a quienes les pasa. Los rebotes de granadas a veces le ponen el aderezo ideal para pasarlo divertidísimo y súper adicto a esta modalidad del juego.

Para cerrar, el juego nos presenta por vez primera el modo Special Ops, que es un modo cooperativo en donde no sigues propiamente una campaña, sino que cumples misiones extraídas de los momentos más importantes o trascendentales tanto de MW2 como de CoD4 como el revivir la misión Ghillies in the Mist de CoD4. En esta modalidad, un amigo puede acompañarte durante 23 misiones que varían en cuanto a objetivos y nivel de dificultad, sí, además del nivel de dificultad del juego, cada misión puede tener una cantidad de enemigos que puede llegar a ser increíblemente alta, es casi como si cuando logras pasarla te sientas como si hubieras enfrentado a todos los habitantes de un país pequeño…

Por desgracia, de este modo de juego no puedo dar más detalles principalmente porque no hay muchas personas con quiénes jugarlo y porque con mi conexión, si yo hosteo el juego se laggea al punto de volver injugable la partida.

Conclusión

Modern Warfare es un juego totalmente divertido de jugar solo, con tus amigos o con un montón de desconocidos adictos a los plomazos virtuales, definitivamente este título brilla en su modo multiplayer y la campaña es lo que siento más flaco del paquete, tiene fallas y no es perfecto, pero no hay duda de que sigue siendo el líder en la Elite de los FPS.

De este no hay más que comprarlo de manera obligada, a menos claro que seas de los gamers que detestan este género de videojuegos.

Never Trust an Elf

The next morning, while Taeva scours tax records, Balekh, Veshenga, and Haggor meet for breakfast. Apparently having thought of something overnight, Balekh suggests that they take a closer look at Aldern’s house now that they have government backing to investigate. He holds up the keyring taken from Aldern at the Misgivings: a housekey and a strange small key with a lion-head emblem. The other two agree, and they round up Sergeant Beech and head to the merchant district again.

Conveniently forgetting to mention Taeva’s previous midnight search through the townhouse, they feign surprise as Beech and the neighborhood’s security guard see the substantial destruction in the house. They let the guard go elsewhere to worry about getting fired for this breach of home security, and begin investigating systematically. As Taeva had noted, the house looks like it was very thoroughly searched. Beds and couches are slashed open, desks are emptied, and, to Balekh’s great consternation, the library floor is covered with books carefully leafed through and then dropped to the ground.

Finally, at the top of the house, Balekh notices that the fireplace includes a lion motif that feels oddly familiar. He and Veshenga search the mantelpiece and find what might be a keyhole and, after the key is inserted and turned, a secret compartment. Inside is a binder full of documents (and a bag of money that they pocket before Beech notices). A superficial glance at the documents shows them to include an accounting notebook and the deed to the Misgivings. Balekh’s inspection shows that the deed includes a strange clause that the house will revert to a group called the Brothers of the Saw in 20 years, as they helped finance its construction. Beech expresses a heavy interest in these documents, but immediately begins suggesting that the “saw” must refer to the Red Mantis assassins that they have already been investigating. Haggor, a keen judge of motives, thinks that Beech is very clumsily trying to throw them off the trail, and subtly conveys this to the others.

The group decides to march the documents straight to the Mayor’s office, to Beech’s increasingly awkward protestations. He suggests that the Mayor wouldn’t be the first stop with this evidence. Very suspicious of the man since his strange behavior earlier, they indicate that they’re going to wait for a while and read the rest of the documents before going to the Mayor. Beech sighs in relief and heads off to make a report while they sit at a cafe and read. Veshenga quickly slips into the crowds and follows him… directly to Justice Ironbriar’s office. After a short conversation that she cannot safely overhear, Beech heads back out. Just as Veshenga is going to follow him back, she notices Ironbriar leaving surreptitiously. Changing her target, she slinks after the elf as he exits through a back door.

Ironbriar’s direction gives Veshenga a sinking feeling, as he seems to be bearing straight for Underbridge. Somehow, she follows him all the way down the colossal ramp from the upper districts, and into the shadow of the Irespan, without being noticed. But the elf gets increasingly paranoid the deeper he gets, and he finally spots the ranger in a small market. Masterfully spinning a story, he explains to her that he is just getting lunch at a place he knows about, and turns the conversation to her investigation. If she wasn’t so suspicious, she might believe that she was in the wrong; the man is smooth.

Doubling her attempts at stealth, she manages to avoid being lost in the crowd and give him the impression that she is long gone, despite his numerous attempts to double back and spot pursuit. Finally, he heads into a strange dilapidated clocktower near where the bridge meets the cliff, and Veshenga doesn’t believe she can get any closer without being spotted by whatever beings within are giving her a dark and creepy feeling.

Meanwhile, Balekh has been moving through the accounting ledger, and has found that Aldern was making regular payments to the Brothers at some sawmill, apparently to have them keep Iesha’s death a secret. Haggor goes off to retrieve Taeva at this news, thinking they have a clear location of import to search for. Not long after, as Balekh still waits at the cafe for his party while double checking the documents, Beech appears and sidles into the back corner where Balekh is sitting. The sergeant talks with him for a few minutes, asking about the progress of the investigation, and it gradually dawns on the cleric that patrons of the restaurant have been quietly leaving… almost as if a police sergeant asked them to evacuate.

AMANDA REMEMBERS HER LAST VISIT WITH SYDNEY — Jonah (Michael Rady) and Riley (Jessica Lucas) decide to head to Las Vegas to elope but the day doesn’t quite go as planned. Ella (Katie Cassidy) arranges a pitch meeting for Jonah with an important producer who is interested in buying his film. Meanwhile, Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) calls David (Shaun Sipos) after she gets in trouble with one of her male clients and Auggie (Colin Egglesfield) confesses his true feelings for Riley. Also, Michael (Thomas Calabro) gives David information about Sydney’ killer and Amanda bonds with Violet (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz) over Sydney, but of course Amanda has an ulterior motive in getting to know Violet.

Former TNA X Division Champion Low Ki worked a dark match prior to tonight’s SmackDown/ECW taping in Bridgeport, Connecticut, defeating Paul Burchill. Low-Ki, who has been working in WWE’s developmental promotion, worked under the name Kaval.

Ormai è certo: True Blood ripartirà a giugno 2010 in America e nel frattempo fioccano spoilers che arrivano direttamente dal creatore della serie, Alan Ball e da alcuni sceneggiatori come Alexander Woo e Raelle Tucker.
Dichiarano innanzitutto che la serie seguirà in modo del tutto fedele il terzo libro della saga della Harris dal titolo “Club Dead” ma in questo caso non ci sarebbero molte news da dare, basterà leggere il libro. Ma siamo sicuri che questa dichiarazione rispecchierà la terza stagione? Vediamo un pò…

Quelle menti geniali non ci terranno molto sulle spine e ci diranno praticamente subito chi c’è dietro il rapimento di Bill mentre gira voce che Eric sfoggerà in tutto il suo splendore con pochissimi vestiti addosso… Ma qualche assaggio già l’abbiamo avuto nei sogni della nostra beneamina Sookie…

Nuovi personaggi, come era ovvio, nella nuova stagione che porteranno scompiglio a Bon Temps mentre è annunciato anche il ritorno di vecchie glorie: il più atteso (anche se solo nei flashback) e forse il più benvoluto dal pubblico è quello di Godric, ma anche Pam resterà accanto al suo creatore Eric. Pare invece che gli americani non gradiscano molto il personaggio della Regina interpretata da Evan Rachel Wood, ma ad ogni modo, dovremo tenercela in quanto il suo personaggio per ora è considerato “regular” nella serie.
Inoltre è stato aperto il casting per cercare l’attrice che interpreterà Caroline Compton:  la moglie di Bill sarà molto sorpresa nello scoprire che suo marito non è morto durante la guerra civile…
Come abbiamo già detto in precedenti articoli, la parte da protagonista delle vicende sarà affidata sempre a Sookie: per la cameriera telepatica (anche se in effetti al Merlotte’s ha lavorato poco ultimamente) ci sarà un viaggio introspettivo alla scoperta di sé stessa:

“Ci saranno più ipotesi e congetture su quello che lei può essere e per questo sarà portata a scoprire chi sia davvero“.
Tutta la stagione sarà incentrata proprio sulla sua identità e il che porterà in modo naturale a concentrarsi meno sul rapporto che ha con Bill anche se le dichiarazioni di Alan Ball sono ferme su questo punto: il loro rapporto non morirà.
