Shannon Neel of Shannon Hearts

Shannon worked as an interior designer and is a proud mother of two (can you believe it?!). I love her mix and match nautical look where she is wearing our Gone Sailing Skirt and Smooth Sailing Cardi.

How would you describe your style?
My style is natural and feminine. I love floral prints, flowy skirts, and pretty colors. I’m a total girly girl.

Where do you get your inspiration from?
Since I love fashion and photography, I find my inspiration in nature. The colors that I am drawn to in fashion are the same ones that capture my eye when I’m taking pictures.

If you were stuck in a deserted island and were only allowed to bring two items, what do you bring with you?
Sunblock and chocolate

Stephanie Hargis of Take Hart

Stephanie first grabbed my attention with her fire-red hair. She was wed June of 2010 and is the mom to two adorable bunnies. Here she’s wearing of our Golden Cropped Coat for those chilly days in Kentucky.

How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as ultra feminine and vintage inspired with just a little bit of a modern edge! A bright hair color adds a little edge to any outfit right? Empire waistlines, brightly colored tights, and hair bows are just a few favorite style staples of mine. I like a lot of texture and layering as well!

Where do you get your style inspiration from?
My mom is a huge source of my style inspiration and is quite literally where I “get it from”! She learned to sew when she was really little and began creating her own designs as a teenager. I grew up looking at photos of how she dressed in her twenties and now that I am the age that she was in a lot of the older photos, I can see that I’ve incorporated a lot of her style into my own! I even have (and wear) some of the things she made back then!

Do you have any hidden talents?
I do have a hidden talent! Are you ready for this? I can sing the 50 United States in alphabetical order. Man, that is really going to come in handy some day – I just know it.

Alison Coglianese of Chain Strap Purse

Alison is a Washington, DC fashion blogger with a double major in political science and communications. She started Chain Strap Purse as a creative outlet for her love of fashion and style. She styled our Lucky Stars blouse with gold and ivory bangles and booties.

How would you describe your style?
I would definitely consider my style classic with a dash of trendy. I have my wardrobe staples – blazers, skinny jeans, point-toe pumps, etc., but I like to mix in fun, of-the-moment pieces as well. I would also say I’m more on the preppy side, but I really enjoy balancing that out with edgier accessories. It’s really all about what I feel comfortable and most like “me” in!

Where do you get your style inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from everywhere! Other bloggers, friends, people on the street, magazines – you name it! I love collecting a variety of ideas from all different places and then coming up with something that fits my personal style. Sometimes it’s as simple as a color combination that makes me want to put an outfit together!

If you were stuck in a deserted island and were only allowed to bring two items, what do you bring with you?
Sunscreen, because I have very fair skin and burn easily, and my husband. I know, I know, he’s not an item. Is that cheating? Regardless, I couldn’t live without either!

Kate Gabrielle of Scathingly Brilliant

Kate is another blogger with awesome hair! I love that she styles her hair in a pink bouffant daily. Her illustrations are pretty cool too. You can buy some of her 1920s inspired illustrations on her Etsy shop.

How would you describe your style?
Dainty, vintage inspired and spunky

Where do you get your inspiration from?
My inspiration comes mostly from Clarissa Explains It All… I don’t dress like her, really, but I loved how much fun she had with her clothes, and how content she was with not “fitting in”.

Any hidden talents you’d like us to know?
I can move things with my mind, and turn any object into a potato by twitching my nose.
