Ce billet est le résultat d’une conversation houleuse (Roooo le jeu de mot ! “houleuse”, “surf”…) que j’ai pu avoir avec l’un de mes collègues.

A la base la conversation a débuté sur le fait que j’étais “un marseillais” en disant que les vagues des spots de Royan (et alentours) pouvaient dépasser les 3 mètres de haut ! La discussion est venue sur le fait que même dans le sud pour avoir 3 mètres de vagues c’était difficile. Puis en creusant dans la conversation j’ai compris qu’il parlait “en été” quand il disait “lorsque le drapeau est vert”.

Alors pour vous mes lecteurs, quelques petits trucs à savoir :

• Le surf se pratique TOUTE l’année (en pleine hiver, il ne faut pas espérer avoir un câlin de sa chère et tendre quelques heures après la sortie de l’eau )
• Les surveillances de “baignade” durent seulement 2 mois ! Juillet et Août !
• Le vrai surf commence en automne (après la saison touristique, au moins, on est tranquille dans l’eau )

Et pour ceux qui prétendent qu’il n’y a pas plus de 3 mètres dans le sud, voici une vidéo de la vague Belharra à Saint Jean de Luz.

Ca faisait longtemps. Ce matin, par pur plaisir (il était trop tôt pour une mise à l’eau) j’ai butiné sur tous les spots (ou presque) du pays basque : Bidart centre, Parlementia, Cenix, Mayarco, Lafiténia, Erromardi, Sainte Barbe, La Bougie et Hendaye ! Contre toute attente, les prévis annonçaient du bronx et ma foi j’ai vu  des choses plutôt très très  propres. En tout cas rien à voir avec les conditions girondines moyennes. Finalement, dès les premiers rayons de soleil, je me suis fixé sur Mayarco, que j’aime beaucoup car très peu fréquenté. Aujourd’hui, seuls deux surfeurs étaient au pic. Donc hop, en combi, et un petit chat avec mon voisin de parking. Bingo, le temps de penser à me mettre à l’eau les conditions avaient changées suffisamment pour… me faire changer d’endroit. Le point le plus près étant Lafit, j’ai donc tenté le coup. Je dois avouer que, gooofy dans l’âme, je ne suis pas à l’aise avec cette vague (une droite pure sans alternative…). Bref, les conditions étaient soutenues et, cher lecteur, je me suis comporté comme une burne. D’où le titre. En revanche, j’ai eu l’occasion de voir au pic un jeune surfeur qui, je peux le dire, était sans conteste le seigneur de cette session. Mazette quel style et quelle décontraction dans l’action. Superbe (il apparaît à la fin de la vidéo…). Demain matin, je tente de me rattraper…

Esta mañana aprovechando los rayos de sol, me he dado una vuelta por granada para comprobar el estado de ciertas zonas, por ver si siguen siendo patinables.

Aquí tenemos el resultado:

Comencemos por el clásico, el “skate park” de Hipercor. (entrecomillado porque no es practicable al menos en fin de semana).

La verdad es que tiene bastante espacio para patinar, algunos elementos para street, rails y alguna rampita.

El verdadero problema de ese sitio es el que todo el mundo sabe, se usa como botellódromo y está el suelo lleno de cristales por la mayoría de zonas, esta misma mañana no había nadie patinando y el suelo estaba pegajoso y con olor a “no preguntes el que” xD.

Que yo sepa hay en granada dos bowls, el de Hipercor y el de al lado del Alcampo junto a la estación de autobuses.

Se ve divertido, y no hay mucho jaleo por la zona.

Campus Universitario de Fuente Nueva

Justo donde están las facultades de caminos y arquitectura, tienen una vía asfaltada muy muy larga cerrada al tráfico.

En la foto no se aprecia, bien pero si os fijáis, al fondo hay una valla blanca, son obras en la misma calzada y detrás hay otro trozo igual de largo que el primero.

Para slalom y cosas similares sería genial. El caso es que no se como está el tema de poder patinar por allí, ya que al ser recinto privado de la uni, lo mismo hay alguna pega, aunque he visto bicis y gente haciendo deporte (hay campos de futbol, basket, rugbi a todo lo largo).

Parezco el tio matt de los fraguel viajando por ahí jajaja. Por cierto si conocéis spots o zonas en granada, comentarlas por aquí y los sábados que pueda me acercaré a comprobarlas para comentar impresiones.

In einem modernen Tonstudio kann man es so klingen lassen, als wäre der Radiohörer direkt mittendrin und live in einem Bundesligaspiel! Zudem ist Radio ja Kino im Kopf und somit kann immer die Lieblingsmannschaft gerade ein Tor geschossen haben…

Ist der Hörer mitten ins Geschehen eingebunden, hat man seine Aufmerksamkeit sicher und die Werbebotschaft trifft ins Schwarze!“ verrät Stefan Nierwetberg, Geschäftsführer der P&P Studios.

Liquidos, macros y explosiones a camera lenta, basicamente son los tres elementos necesarios para seguir la moda visual de esta temporada, y mercedes no se ha querido quedar fuera. Olvidate de la rotoscopia un tiempo y dedicate a rodar planicos a 120fps i veras como triunfas. Estamos a la entrada del HD y empresas de todo tipo quieren demostrarlo haciendo anuncios espectaculares, aunque todos muy similares. Hay una asociación entre los tres elementos nombrados anteriormente con el HD como si todo lo que fueramos a ver de ahora en adelante en nuestros monstruosos televisores y monitores son efectitos a camera lenta, que, en muchos casos se venden como HD pero no lo son. Ejemplo: esos maravillosos monitores de ordenador que son 1920×1080 pero no tienen entrada HDMI.
Por cierto, a continuacion les presento un spot que hicimos hace un par de meses para Tempoda alta, festival de teaatro, circo.. de Girona. Evidentemente hay una explosion a camara lenta al final. Hasta la proxima!

Stunden kostete es mich. Immer und immer wieder musste ich die Passagen probieren, bis die Trickfolge meinen hohen Ansprüchen genügte. Das Ergebnis kann sich aber sehen lassen! Darkslides, Fingerflips, 360 Hardflips, Double Front Foot Impossibles,…dieses Video besitzt alles! Zusammengepackt in 90 Sekunden demonstriert es die hohe Kunst des Skateboardens am PC.  Unterlegt mit einem Ohrwurm schlechthin wird es eure Sinne verwöhnen:

Nun fühle ich mich leer. Ich habe quasi alles erreicht, die besten Stellen gefunden und mit waghalsigen Kombos gekrönt. Und nun?? Soweit ich das sehe, ist kein neues “Tony Hawk´s” für den PC in Sicht. Lediglich für die XBOX gibt es neue Ableger. Was soll man dazu sagen? – Traurig, einfach traurig.

Durante la campaña federal 2009 los partidos produjeron 89 spots. Tomando en cuenta que el uso de los tiempos oficiales para la transmisión de este material publicitario se tradujo en alrededor de 10 millones de espacios de 30 segundos, y haciendo un promedio de repetición que no contemple el esquema de distribución de este tiempo entre los partidos, cada spot se habría repetido en promedio 110 mil veces.

Para ilustrar la vaguedad de sus contenidos pongamos como ejemplo que ninguno de estos spots mencionó el tema de los impuestos, el primer gran debate de la nueva Legislatura que tendrá impacto directo en la vida de millones de mexicanos. Una vez más los spots sirvieron para hablar en general de mejores oportunidades sin decir cuáles, de un país más justo sin decir cómo y de la procuración del bienestar social sin explicar de dónde saldría el dinero para todo ello.

El dato proviene del reporte Medios de comunicación y partidos políticos: cobertura y mensajes, resultante de la observación electoral realizada por Ciudadanos en Medios, Democracia e Inform ación, AC, (CMDI) durante las elecciones federales. CMDI, además, monitoreó la cobertura de las campañas en tres diarios de circulación nacional (Reforma, La Jornada y EL UNIVERSAL) y en tres noticiarios de tv (Hechos de TV Azteca, El Noticiero de Televisa y 11 noticias de Canal 11).

Los hallazgos son poco optimistas. Comenzando con la oferta informativa en los tres noticiarios, constatamos un marcado desinterés por incluir en su agenda informativa las propuestas de los partidos (tan sólo 35 notas informativas de los siete partidos/coaliciones fueron transmitidas) y la tendencia por centrar su cobertura en las estrategias de campaña, no en los contenidos programáticos de éstas: 57% de las notas trató el tema de las estrategias y 26% se centró en los conflictos entre partidos. Sólo seis notas se dedicaron a un tema en particular, una a educación y cinco a seguridad pública.

Llama la atención el caso de TV Azteca: seis de las notas de los partidos fueron divididas en dos emisiones de una sección titulada “El juego de las sillas”. Al analizar cómo la información es presentada se encontró que todas las notas fueron acompañadas de juicios de valor del medio, resaltándose el tono sarcástico de la producción con el objetivo de descalificar y ridiculizar a los actores políticos ahí presentados.

En cuanto a los diarios, y debido en parte a una disponibilidad de espacio mayor a la televisiva, observamos 553 notas de las cuales Reforma aportó 46%, mientras EL UNIVERSAL y La Jornada publicaron, respectivamente, el 24% y el 30% restante. Se observó mayor diversidad de temas aunque, como en los noticiarios, prevaleció el interés por abordar las estrategias de campaña (42%) y los enfrentamientos entre partidos (45%). La inequidad entre el espacio otorgado a partidos “grandes” y “pequeños” también se magnificó en la prensa. Ocho de cada 10 notas fueron dedicadas al PRI, al PAN o al PRD mientras que en tv fueron siete de cada 10.

Respecto de estos resultados hacemos tres observaciones. Uno, haber recuperado el tiempo oficial para transmitir los mensajes de los partidos fue un logro de la reforma electoral de 2007. Sin embargo, contemplar formatos de comunicación alternativos al spot de 30 segundos, incluso a los ya considerados en la ley de uno y dos minutos, así como establecer un esquema de distribución entre partidos más equitativo que el actual 30-70, son dos pendientes indiscutibles en materia del acceso de los partidos a la radio y la tv.

Dos, el acuerdo de los partidos y el IFE para utilizar el formato de 30 segundos favorece la vaguedad argumentativa. Si a ello añadimos las tendencias de cobertura en los medios observados en el estudio de CMDI, es evidente que las campañas se alejan cada vez más de la diferenciación programática e ideológica de los partidos.

Por último, el reporte de CMDI confirma la necesidad de observar sistemática y objetivamente el desempeño informativo de los medios en México. Consideramos que los medios deben gozar de completa libertad para elegir sus contenidos. No obstante, esta libertad conlleva la responsabilidad de transparentar los criterios editoriales que determinan la selección y el tratamiento de la información que ofrecen a sus audiencias. La libertad de expresión también es un derecho que debe disfrutar la ciudadanía.

I am precariously close to entering the middle-ages, and suddenly my body decides that now is the time to get spots. Punishment for escaping my teen-age years spot free. Saturday was bad. Very bad. It was a bad day all round really, I hardly slept, I had hair issues, clothes issues, general feeling yuk issues…and then I look in the mirror – and I see possibly the world’s biggest spot. Had I not known better I would have thought I was growing another head. The trauma. Despite being older and wiser, I chose to ignore all the advice and skin care knowledge I have gleaned over the years… and I squeezed it. Bad move. I woke up in the morning and thought I may have to amputate my lip. Praise the Lord for concealer!!

Now I don’t look like the bigger half of a Siamese twin, but more like a Cindy Crawford wannabee with a suspicious looking beauty spot on my upper lip. Do you think anyone will notice if I colour it in…

This picture is of the Gloucester River above the falls pictured in the last two posts.

There are a series of falls along this stretch of the river, including a section I have been unable to reach because of the drop. One day I hope to trace the river upstream and locate the last section of the falls and get some photos.

The area photographed includes some great little spots for a dip on a hot day.

Liver spots are a form of Hyperpigmentation and they are generally caused by too much sun exposure. They are also known as Lentigines or age spots and they usually take a few years to develop. They usually appear as small, dark spots which are often found on the hands or the face which are the most exposed body parts in the sun. The main question people want to know the answer to when they do develop these liver spots is how do I get rid of them? Well, it is not always possible to eliminate the spots altogether, but there are treatments available to reduce their appearance.

Liver Spots and How to Successfully Reduce Their Appearance

Liver spots are often associated with older skin and most people think that they develop due to age, but in fact they are actually developed through sun exposure. Although they mostly appear on the face and the arms and hands, they can also be found on the chest, the back and more uncommonly on the legs and torso.

They generally occur when the skin is trying to protect itself against the sun exposure, and as a result too much melanin is produced. Melanin is what causes different color in the skin such as freckles and uneven tanning.

Liver spots can also occur from spending too much time on sunbeds which provide high UV levels which damage the skin. Bad health can also be to blame as well as problems with the liver. The reason they mainly occur during older people, is because they do take many years to develop and it literally takes years of sun exposure to cause them to appear. Whilst liver spots are not dangerous in any way, they can be an early symptom of skin cancer so you really should look for any changes within them. Things such as a color change or a size change should be checked out immediately by a doctor.

There are a few treatments available which can help to reduce the appearance of liver spots, and one of those is Super Strength Lightener which contains Kojic Acid.

Kojic Acid is a natural ingredient which effectively lightens the skin. It has been used for years to help with all kinds of health problems and it is less irritating than another treatment called Hydroquinone. Super Strength Lightener comes in gel form and it also contains whole leaf Aloe Vera and witch hazel extract.

Hydroquinone is generally sold in over the counter products such as gels and creams, and if bought over the counter it is quite mild. It is a really common treatment and it has been proven to be extremely effective, though for more severe cases of liver spots, a doctor will be able to prescribe you with a higher dose treatment which should reduce the spots appearance.

Natural remedies such as buttermilk are said to help too and often they are a lot gentler on the skin than shop bought or prescribed medicines. With buttermilk you simply rub it over the spots and the lactic acid within the milk tends to be beneficial to the skin. Castor oil is another good one which is said to reduce the spots appearance after around a month when you rub it into the spots twice daily.

Dandelions are also said to help. All you do is find a dandelion, snap open the stem and rub the sap onto the spots. Do this two to three times a day and you should notice a difference after around a month.

Overall there are quite a few natural remedies as well as traditional treatments which can help to reduce and occasionally remove liver spots altogether. It is always better to consult a doctor before starting any treatment, as they will be able to give you a prper diagnosis and treatment to suit you.

El Consejo Nacional de la Abogacía Ignacio Vallarta promoverá una denuncia ante la Procuraduría General de la República (PGR) contra el Instituto Federal Electoral (IFE) y el presidente de Grupo Tecno, Aarón Porraz, por presuntas irregularidades en el monitoreo a medios electrónicos, entre ellas fraude y daño al erario.

En conferencia de prensa, el jurista Mario Arroyo presentó un video, proporcionado con secrecía “por un medio de comunicación”, con una entrevista a Aarón Porraz que servirá como prueba al consejo para demostrar que “estuvieron en riesgo las elecciones del 5 de julio”.

“Porraz acepta el margen de victoria ayudó a evitar impugnaciones y que los resultados hubieran puesto en jaque a las autoridades electorales y a los comicios de hace cuatro meses”.

El grupo de abogados presentó fragmentos del trabajo periodístico para precisar que Porraz incumplió el contrato suscrito por 25.7 millones de dólares, por el “que se iban a monitorear 23 millones de spots y no solamente 9 millones, cifra que fue la única que aceptaron, como el faltante de 708 señales de las 2 mil 319 que estaba obligada a seguir la empresa”.

“Pero debemos pedir una aclaración al IFE sobre si dentro del pago de 25.7 millones de dólares se consideró un 2% de equipamiento para poder monitorear el sistema de cable”.

Arroyo enfatizó que Porraz se convirtió en un revendedor de equipo adquirido en Israel, que “el mismo Porraz asegura que manipuló, por lo que debe explicar a quién benefició y quién operó el sistema; el IFE es el que legalmente debería hacerlo”.

En entrevista con EL UNIVERSAL, Porraz aseguró que Arroyo forma parte del equipo legal de TV Azteca, que trata de desacreditarlo para echar abajo las multas impuestas por la autoridad electoral, comentario que el jurista rechazó.
