Problemem jest to, że nie znalazłem funkcji odpowiadającej za zwolnienie silników, przez co robot jest niedokładny. Obrót robota jest mierzony w centysekundach (1/100s = 1cs), a nie w stopniach, czy chociaż radianach. W dodatku system robota nie obsługuje liczb innych niż całkowite. Kolejnym ograniczeniem jest pamięć robota, która może przechować jedynie 15 waypoint’ów.

A Problem of Social Media

One of the significant problems that Social Media might make for you is in the area of spy software, questionable down load files, malware and other nasties.

Now of course the whole subject of computer security is nothing new and now as more and more people increase their online experience the risk can open up additional dangers. I will mention two areas, One is the software area where your computer security is breached – infected OS, user files etc. The other is in the user area.

First the computer security, a subejct of many web sites, conferences and businesses. Very briefly you need one or more software applications that enable to both protect and remove nasties.

One programme I use is SpyBot from the good green folk in Ireland. It is completely free and donations are voluntary. Spybot has won many awards and you can read on their web site why they make it free…yes we don’t make a commission or have any financial connection and in the spirit of free enterprise and SM thinking something we do simply to be helpful should you read this page.

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies.

Hardware Malfunction Lurking: I had a frustrating problem on one of my computers this past week that affected my USB port. I was actually unaware I had a problem as the USB ports all worked ok and I was not aware of a malfunction and it was not until I connected one of the new state of the art iQRite Touch frames that I became “challenged” . So after installing the operation software and drivers we found that when we plugged it into the USB the computer gave the normal ping sound and again when it was connected…meaning the computer new it was connected. But the software kept saying it was not connected. Digging deeper in the Systems Device manager we could see it was registered and the OS software knew it existed. Eventually we found a malware exe lurking blocking the frame from talking to the software drivers. The malware backdoor trojan was called sysguard.exe . The upshot was that this was removed by a 30day free use of UnHackme from http://www.greatis.com/ Be sure you visit this site even to get an understanding of the range of solutions and issues. Remember ignorance is no longer an acceptable excuse. You and I need to be responsible for every mouse click.

Some suggestions.

Consider using Gmail (Googlemail), Yahoo etc for your social media experience and keeping it separate from your main sales email address as in sales@iqrite.com. Instead it might be iqrite@gmail.com. These are actually valid email adresses for one of my companies.

If you are a company be mindful of who has the passwords to your company Facebook site and Blog site. The enthusiastic sales person may one day need to be dismissed and has all your passwords. So consider a Policy of updating them regularly and record them accurately and securely.

Consider the whole issue of who owns what. Is the free email account belonging to the employee or the company?

What are employees allowed to say in their use of Social Media about company activities, their opinions etc. Staff have been dismissed and censured over what the company has considered as inappropriate. One current debate in the USA is the case of a female board member tweeting and her miscarriage happening in a board meeting.

Stay Safe Online, Remove Viruses and Spyware / Adware Part 1

I am going to do a multi part series on Online Safety, and keeping your computer clean. I will keep it simple but I know some great software out there to help in this battle. Ready, well then let’s go.

First before you do anything else, always make sure your operating system is updated. In Windows I would suggest going to http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/ and make sure Microsoft Update is installed. This adds a nice function to the Windows Update feature allowing the updating of other Microsoft software like Office, Windows Live, and so on. Once it is installed run it! Those security updates are a first line of defense. To run it afterward in Windows Vista and 7 just start the Windows Update program in the Start Menu. In Windows XP click on the Safety menu in Internet Explorer 8 (Which if you don’t have installed, please do so by downloading it from here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/Internet-explorer/default.aspx) and click on Windows Update. In Windows 2000 you click on the Tools menu in Internet Explorer 6 SP1.

Now once Updates have been installed, I want to talk to you. Even if you don’t use Internet Explorer, always make sure it is updated. There are other components of the Windows operating system that use components of IE. This will help keep you safe to have it updated. Also Windows 2000 users I do not suggest using Internet Explorer 6 SP1 for your daily browsing however keep it updated, click here to read about other safer alternatives.

Updates are your first line of defense but your second line is some form of software that will actively protect you from Viruses and Spyware. Also make sure every once in a while you run a full system scan to clean up your computer.

1. Windows Defender comes with Windows Vista and 7 and can be installed in XP It is small and light weight and also does not bog the system down. Leaving it on and updated is a great tool, but it is mostly for Spyware and Adware. It updates through Windows update so if your system updates automatically then your set. You can run it manually though and do a full scan to clean up your system too. In Windows 7 Windows Defender is in the Control panel, in Windows Vista and if installed in XP it is in the Start Menu. Microsoft Security Essentials, You should have some form of Virus protection on your computer, you really should, but if you don’t and can’t afford it, Microsoft did something really cool recently. They released Security Essentials. It is built off of the Windows Live One Care and their corporate version Forefront. Security Essentials has been rated well so far and I suggest it over AVG however AVG is another great Free alternative. It will replace Windows Defender as it does both Virus and Spyware. It is like Defender in that it will not bog a system down at all. It also updates through Windows Update. I suggest it. 3. If you have the money to pay for good protection I suggest Norton Antivirus.(Norton Internet Security is alright too but I just prefer Norton Antivirus, just less software) It also does both Virus and Spyware protection. It has its own method for updates and does not bog a system down at all, not in the newer versions, the software is greatly improved. Going back to the Windows Updates, part of them is a tool updated monthly to remove common viruses and spyware called the Malicious Software Removal Tool. Malicious Software Removal Tool

Now there are a few good tools for removing Spyware and Adware. I suggest installing them all and running them, this helps to ensure you remove as many threats as possible. Make sure that after you have installed them to run an update in each of the programs before you scan, this will help ensure you get everything the program can detect. I suggest installing these tools and when your done with them uninstall them. I prefer to not have every starting with Windows and slowing it down. However if you want something other than Windows Defender protecting your system I suggest Spybot.

1. Spybot – Search & Destroy, This has been one of the best tools for years. Time and time again is gets the more popular stuff the first time. It is small and light weight. if you are not happy with Windows Defender then this is a great program to leave running for active protection, but make sure to turn off and disable Windows Defender. 2. Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, this is a newer program in the mix and I think it works rather well. This is another tool I install, update, run a full scan and then uninstall it. It works quite well to help disinfect a system. 5. Spyware Doctor, now the only version that is free and will remove detected threats is part of the Google Pack. Make sure you only select the programs you want to install from the Google Pack, they try to install a lot of junk by default. The program scans rather quickly and I like to run it just in case the other programs did not pick up something. You can get it for Windows XP, Vista, and 7 from http://pack.google.com/

Spyware Doctor

This will all help to protect you online and keep your computer clean, but this is not all you can do or run on your computer. I will talk about what else you can do in part 2. For now I hope this helps keep you safer.

There are a lot of PC users that know little about “Spyware”, “Mal-ware”, “hijackers”, “Dialers” & many more. This will help you avoid pop-ups, spammers and all those baddies.

What is spy-ware?
Spy-ware is Internet jargon for Advertising Supported software (Ad-ware). It is a way for shareware authors to make money from a product, other than by selling it to the users. An interesting day…

Interesting, may not be the correct word here. It has been a very good day. Despite the rain when I was putting the washing out, and despite the fact that the bed sheet is too large for the dryer. R*** has been in an exceptional good mood. We have had singing and laughing and joking with him. There has been no violent outbursts whatsoever. He has eaten his meals without any fuss, if fact he seems to have eaten more today than i have seen him eat in a long time. The interesting fact though, is that he has had no medication at all. It is now 10:20pm and he seems like is is almost ready for bed. Just need to get him to turn his PC off. Fingers crossed.

I sorted out the problem I had with the windows Recent Documents folder. It seems there is a bug in Office 2007. If you open and save a file, from within the application, be it Word, Excel or whatever, then no shortcut is placed in the windows Recent Documents folder. However, if you open the file from explorer then it does appear. I don’t know why I was that bothered really, as I never remember to look in Recent Documents. I usually tend to use explorer or open the file from within the application. Live and learn.

Whilst I am on about Microsoft and windows. I recently downloaded, and installed the new Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) software. It got good reviews in the final beta stages, and even more when the product was released fully. It has been running for about a week now, and I decided today to remove it. Since installation, a number of basic actions, have been taking a great deal longer than usual. Applications like Windows Explorer taking 20 seconds to open, and memory sticks too. Now, I have AVG Free, Spybot S&D, Adaware, Windows Firewall and Windows Defender. Do I really need yet another security product ?? MSE is supposed to be good, and from what I read, it is supposed to do away with Defender, but it cannot be a coincidence that as soon as I remove MSE, everything seems to get back to normal.

Today is a bit of a blogging celebration. I have now posted everyday since 11 July 2009. Feeling really pleased with myself. It has sometimes been a bit of a bind, trying to think of something to post, but I have managed it, even if it has only been a short paragraph posted from my mobile. Here is to the next three months.

Windows Vista brought a lot of change, and a lot of new features. Love it or hate it Vista changed the game. I could not decide on five so here are my pick of six new features that were introduced in Vista. Let’s revisit them.

1. Windows Defender, spyware and adware have been a big problem for a while. I was glad when Microsoft introduced Windows Defender into Windows, it offered an extra layer of protection. It is not the best program out there for this purpose, I prefer to use Spybot and Ad-Aware to remove spyware but Windows Defender does active protection and does not use up much system resources doing it. 2. Windows Sidebar and Desktop Gadgets, This was an awesome upgrade to Windows allowing more customization to Windows by allowing anyone to make a gadget and being able to download them. 3. Instant Search, I hated having to use search to find anything in Windows because it took for ever, but in Vista is it ever easy. Type a few letters and bam its there. The Network and Sharing Center, This is a little gem in Vista allowing networks to be managed more easily, it also saves Wireless Network information, so finally you did not have to retype in your security key every few days to reconnect to the wireless. Sharing was also simplified and made it easier to share information at home.

5. Windows DVD Maker, a simple program so you can share your videos and pictures with family and friends on DVD. Not to shabby, but it is simple. Hey not bad for the first version of the program.

6. Windows Update, this is not really a new feature but so improved it might as well be, finally Windows Update and Microsoft Update did not have to be accessed from a browser. This is hands down the best decision Microsoft made in Vista. A program that did Windows Update, awesome!

It is nice to see new features when Windows is released. Computing changes and it is good that Windows tries to keep up. If you are running Vista or thinking about it I would suggest upgrading to Windows 7, it takes Vista strong points and makes them much better.

Error en Descarga Free desde Rapidshare

Me considero y me consideran un descargador asiduo de la internet o bien un downloader caminante, por tal motivo tengo mi maquina bien equipada con gestores de descarga con anticaptchas actualizados como el Jdownloader y el USDownloader (no toquemos el tema P2P porque hay quienes se ponen nerviosos con el tema).

El meollo de mi cuestión comenzó cuando de repente el USD había detenido abruptamente su actividad, intentaba demasiadas veces en poco tiempo acceder a un archivo alojado en Rapidshare y el contador de tiempo restante de espera no aparecía. Cambié a JDownloader y anduvo para una descarga y luego lo mismo. Es así que decidí abrir el browser y probar a ver que pasaba de forma tradicional, ya que era totalmente posible que yo esté en el limite de descargas ¿Pero por qué no aparecía el tiempo remanente para poder empezar si este siempre aparece? y es cuando vi la triste realidad.

Al acceder al link del archivo alojado en Rapidshare via browser, accedía a la pantalla donde están los tacómetros y la opción de bajarlo en cuenta FREE o en PREMIUM, como soy pobre y vivo en la calle le doy click a FREE y es aquí cuando el browser queda en una inactividad extraña, queda buscando buscando y al final aparece un error en la pantalla diciendo “La conexión al servidor fue reiniciada mientras la página se cargaba bla bla bla bla bla…” . Al firewall yo no lo había tocado ni a ninguna configuración me cambie los permisos de acceso desde-hacia internet a mi pc así que primero pensé que me habían baneado la IP temporalmente por descarga masiva del sitio, pero en la máquina de mi vecina con quien comparto internet no había problemas y la IP de internet es la misma, es ahí cuando recordé a un mal asunto que tuve con la actualización de mis antivirus.

Mensaje del browser

Anteriormente tuve problemas actualizando el antivirus NOD32 y el SpyBot Search & Destroy. El NOD32 decía que estaba todo en orden o a veces que no se podía actualizar el SpyBot no podía actualizar nunca por lo que pensé que tal vez la empresa tenía ciertos problemas, pero ninguno de mis conocidos tenía tal problema así que decidí volver a bajarlo y no entraba a la página de los creadores, se me ocurrió entrar en la de NOD siguiendo el instinto y en esta tampoco pude entrar, adivinen que sucedía al querer acceder a la página de cualquier antivirus… La solución a ésto fue bajar la ultima release de un antivirus freeware (el AVAST) de Download.com y pasar un scanéo exhaustivo eliminando toda clase de malwares. Luego de ésto fui feliz y con el AVAST siempre actualizando no tuve mas problemas de éste tipo.
Ahora, la historia intermedia es la misma que en Rapidshare, en la máquina de al lado bajaba correctamente utilizando mi misma IP para Internet y en las conexiones de mis amigos igual así que obviamente era otro de esos listillos que se cuelan vaya a saber por donde y con un scanéo de mi viejo amigo SpyBot junto con el AVAST se detectaron dentro del directorio Windows\System32 y en “System Volume Information\” unos archivos AUTORUN extraños con extensiones que simulaban a las “INI” para que uno no los detecte al primer golpe de vista y ademas estaban ocultos y como si fuera poco al querer ver su contenido con un editor de textos el sistema operativo lanzaba un mensaje diciendo que no teniamos permisos… “hijounagransiete vas a ver lo que es el Delete marca AVAST”.

Luego de ésta limpieza de extraños archivos puedo volver a descargar tranquilamente de Rapidshare con acceso FREE para pobres internautas

Para finalizar, no necesariamente siempre va a ser éste el problema, pero si todo está marchando de lujo y de repente sin que se cambie configuración de Firewall ni ninguna otra historia, sucede un hecho siniestro de éstos, apuntenle a un malware de ésta índole.

For close to 4 years now, I’ve been an Apple convert. The time has passed by quickly, and I don’t regret making the switch one bit. My first Apple product was technically my 40GB iPod photo which now looks like a giant brick! I can’t believe I used to carry that around with me! But then, I can’t believe I used to carry my walkman and 5 or 6 cassette tapes to school each day, nor that I used to have a little bag with my discman and a few CDs in it that I used to wear around me. Something I forgot until my iPod had to be sent away for repair during my second year of university was that CDs JUMP. How we’ve come to expect perfection! Or I have, anyway – I have no patience for songs skipping, I have little patience for my iPod taking a while to get its head round a song I want it to play.

However, I never considered getting an iPod as becoming an Apple convert. Once I saw how easily my iPod worked and how straightforward the menus were, I became interested in getting an Apple laptop, especially as my current laptop was slower than a dinosaur. During my first year of university, I had lots of problems with anti-virus software and protecting my computer. It became ridiculously slow, and in addition to that, the laptop I had had a poor attempt at imitating Microsoft Office. In the end, I had enough, and just before Christmas 2005 I ordered my first Apple laptop, an iBook G4. It took me a month to get used to the fact that there was no right-click button, that the tabs and x’s and everything were in different places. Also to get used to the fact that as a Mac, my computer was practically already virus-immune without constant annoying updates from AVG and Spybot and Norton Anti-Virus. The resolution and picture quality was far superior than what I had been used to, and although there were several software compatibility issues, they were a lot easier to overcome than I had feared. The aforementioned Microsoft Office was no longer needed, as I didn’t require any spreadsheets, and I could open and create word documents in TextEdit. So it was all good!

Of course, it’s not all been problem-free. I’m now on my third iPod (which is just over a year old), a 120GB silver iPod classic. I’ve had it just over a year, and apart from the fact that the click wheel only clicks in the headphones, it is behaving quite well. For a while it was working extremely slowly, but the iPod software update on Snow Leopard fixed it and it’s back to normal. I have had a lot of iPod issues in the past, having to send back my iPod time and again and getting replacement ones. Particularly in the case of my first iPod (the photo one), I got into a rhythm of hitting it and knocking it in order to get it to behave and function, which in retrospect was quite ridiculous. My second iPod, a 5th-generation iPod classic with video, still works, though it went through a period of deleting itself of all my music which was why I got a new one. Because I have such a huge amount of music (though 120GB is more than enough space, and I haven’t come close to filling this iPod yet, with 35GB still free!), having to reload it onto my iPod is a MASSIVE pain, and now I use a handy program called iLinkPod to back up my iPod every month or so. It’s a great security blanket, and ensures that I never lose my songs (something which is a much more real concern with digital music – it’s far easier to lose a file than to lose a CD), nor my formatting – I am a little bit anal about how I categorise my songs and make sure that everything has the correct artwork. So with my new iPod, I bought AppleCare to keep it under guarantee for a lot longer, and I feel a lot more secure now. And everything is working fine!

The introduction of an Apple Store to Bristol has also been a great advantage. Up until the opening of Cabot Circus last September, there was an Apple retailer in Temple Meads which was more or less hopeless when it came to fixing any issues that I had. Problems with my first laptop and its CD drive went unrepaired because they were so pathetic in their service that I just preferred to persist with the problem than get it fixed by them. (When my CD or DVD would skip upon putting it in the drive, I would just beat the base of the computer and it would work. Again, I am glad to say those days are long gone!) When my hard drive finally corrupted (I think to be fair, that was my fault because in Spain, I would leave my computer on my bed and it would overheat lying on the thick blanket that I had bought), it was easier just to buy another laptop than get it fixed by them and face their judgement. Also, their costs would probably have been close to the cost of another laptop anyways. I bought my second laptop in Easter 2007, and I still have it today! The one time that I had a problem with it, last Christmas when it would only work with the power adapter plugged in, I took it to the Apple Store in Cabot Circus, who repaired it and although they had said that providing a new logic board would cost £400 (a price I decided I was prepared to pay), they fixed it for no charge. It was a lovely Christmas Eve present, and to this day I’m not sure if that was a mistake… I just got out of the store clutching my laptop before they could change their mind!

Updating my operating system to Leopard and recently Snow Leopard has kept my laptop current, and although it is 2 and a half years old now, I don’t feel that it’s been left behind or is lacking anything. I have got a Microsoft Office replacement now called NeoOffice, so that I can plot my anti-snacking spreadsheet and make a beautiful printable CV. Using the real Microsoft at work has made me appreciate Apple all the more. My Dell laptop starts up and shuts down so slowly; it installs updates at a snail’s pace; Microsoft Office is actually not that user friendly, with certain apparently-advanced functions being a rigmarole to discover. And don’t rely on the help section – it only helps you with incredibly obvious things, and anything more technical is a struggle to even find according to their index system. I conclude that their help sections must have been written by morons, and this week at work, I have solved my queries by using Google, seeing that the Microsoft help section had failed me so. In short, I can’t see myself going back to Microsoft.

However, there is one area of my life where I’m not willing to let Apple in. The iPhone, while I appreciate is a marvellous piece of kit and has so many useful (and useless! ) apps as well as a slim touchscreen, iPod capabilities and Safari web browser, is just far too common. I see it everywhere. In addition, it’s expensive and I’m not really into buying phones on contract (I get easily confused), so I prefer to buy them SIM-free and then just keep my standard O2 Simplicity contract, which gives me unlimited web browsing, and enough free texts and minutes for £20 to keep me satisfied. I see iPhones everywhere, and while they are pretty and fantastic devices, I prefer to be a little bit different. I have the LG Prada II, which is a beautiful sleek black touchscreen phone. However, it also has a pull-out QWERTY keyboard (one of the main selling features for me) so after a little bit of teething, I can text pretty damn quick. I also have the internet and a camera and all the other important things I wanted in a smart phone. But for me, it is more beautiful than an iPhone, it has the designer name which makes it a little more special to me, and I have never seen another one being used in public. I am confident that the iPhone is probably a superior piece of kit, but not by much – I am happy without all the extra apps, as long as I have my QWERTY keyboard, free internet browsing, emails, beautiful phone and unique phone. The LG Prada II has taken me a few months to get my head around (the instruction manual is not very clear, and it does randomly do crazy things such as restart when I receive more than one email), but I have grown to love it and appreciate its quirks as much as its beauty and functions. As I’ve only had it for 5 months, I’m not really looking into what phone I might get next (iPhone or otherwise), as technology these days (particularly with smart phones) evolves so quickly that I won’t even think about it until my current phone starts getting tired and a new one will be necessary. However, I know that Dior have got a beautiful phone on their website…

Vademecum per un pc decentemente curato...per tutti!

Oggigiorno parliamoci chiaro, ci infileremmo il pc pure nelle mutande pur di tenerlo a portata di mano anche quando andiamo a cagare

Hanno creato apposta i laptop, e poi ancora più in là, i cellulari che si collegano anche ad internet fino ad arrivare ai palmari e alle console di gioco che si collegano anche a internet, come la psp, e ora vanno tanto di moda le “pennine” che ti fanno collegare col tuo laptop pure se ti trovi in Patagonia Orientale…

Bah, lasciando perdere il fatto che si genera soltanto altra dipendenza (che poi è il fine ultimo desiderato da tutti coloro che partecipano a questa “gara”), che può diventare anche MOLTO pericolosa, non so davvero a cosa possa servire tutto questo “realmente”…

Ma lasciando perdere le mie riflessioni personali, tutto questo era per dire che ormai tutti si collegano ad internet, la casalinga disperata e la nonnina moderna, l’uomo d’affari e la donna in carriera, la bimbetta che aggiunge i suoi amichetti a messenger e il ragazzino che si va a cercare le immagini porno su RedTube… e se non si è competenti io penso che si possa facilissimamente incappare in situazioni evitabili, dai più banali spyware e cookie traccianti ai più pericolosi virus, trojan e quant’altro…

Non è una guida per esperti questa, ma semplicemente un riassunto di consigli che possono essere utili a tutti, e che possono essere usati da tutti in maniera facile, veloce e soprattutto free!

Ma andiamo con ordine:

Antivirus

Tutti i pc che ci arrivano a casa ci arrivano già provvisti della solita installazione di Windows (sistema operativo), alcuni anche di Office (per intenderci il pacchetto con Word, Power Point, … etc) ed altre cazzatelle… Bene la prima cosa che vi consiglio di fare è il cd in maniera guidata da windows ovviamente per il ripristino configurazione di sistema, molto spesso ci viene incontro per non formattare, ma non voglio ad ogni modo deviare argomento.

Insieme a queste cose in generale ci viene fornito anche un antivirus, di quelli a pagamento, con tutta probabilità Norton, o simili…

Beh finito l’abbonamento piuttosto che comprarne uno nuovo o crackarlo scaricando il keygenerator per usare il keygen da internet (che oltretutto è pratica illegale), vi consiglio di disinstallare l’antivirus “donato” e installarne uno gratuito e con il quale mi sono sempre trovata egregiamente, AVIRA ANTIVIR, trovate il download qui, e c’è anche in Italiano naturalmente.

Lo consiglio a chiunque fa un uso del pc abbastanza “umano”, non visito siti porno ma siti hacker sì Per cui immagino che tutto quello che avrei potuto far “bccare” al mio pc rientra nella stessa categoria, ma con Antivir sono sempre stata apposto, si autoaggiorna, è sempre attivissimo e vi avvisa se state navigando in pagine web che contengono “nemici”, dovete soltanto ricordarvi di fare una scansione del pc una volta tanto, è leggero da caricare (e non come il Norton che è lento da paura e rallenta tutte le santissime applicazioni del pc, accensione inclusa) e io lo trovo pure simpatico Una valida alternativa free e poco ingombrante a tutta la catasta di antivirus a pagamento…Oltretutto potete anche sceglierne la versione a pagamento che contiene numerose altre funzioni, ma sinceramente io non ho mai avuto questa esigenza accoppiandolo ad un altro paio di programmi.

Vi ricordo inoltre la “voce” per la quale antivirus come Norton avrebbero insiti in loro dei virus, che fanno “esplodere” ogni tanto e poi “curano” per dimostrare al cliente di servire a qualcosa…Che sia una voce vera o no, Avira è free, e funziona, due motivi ottimi per sceglierlo abbandonando alternative come Norton costose…e poco chiare….e poco comode

Antispyware

Ogni volta che visitiamo delle pagine sul web alcune immagini, files, “cookies” (come quando ad esempio inseriamo una password e spuntiamo la casellina “vuoi mantenere aperta la connessione su questo computer?”) vengono conservate in una cartella che contiene appunto i file temporanei provenienti da internet (Temporary Internet Files), ed insieme a queste cose che potrebbero sembrare innocue se non, in ani, per l’occupazione di memoria sul disco fisso del pc, ci finisce tanta altra roba che innocua non è, tutt’altro… Cookies traccianti, Spyware, Dialer (che tenteranno di farci connettere ad altre linee a pagamento ma se abbiamo un ADSL serio lo impedirà, e se questo non accadrà ce ne accorgeremo dalla bolletta telefonica! :| In generale comunque accade a chi utilizza un modem “stile 56k” che deve comporre un numero tutte le volte per connettersi, e non appunto ha chi ha una linea adsl) sono appunto alcune di queste cose, che rischiano di compromettere la nostra navigazione, il nostro pc e pure i cazzi nostri

Per cui consiglio a tutti di installare un programmino semplice semplice da utilizzare, che potete trovare cliccando qui:

e che si chiama SpyBot Search&Destroy e appunto con una semplice scansione non solo consente di eliminare i “problemi” suddetti, ma consente anche l’immunzzazione in modo che il pc non “riprenda” più gli stessi elementi di nuovo…molto utile!

Inoltre a qualunque nuova applicazione si inserisca sul pc vi avvisa con una casellina, per cui saprete sempre cosa sta accadendo nel vostro pc, se sono cose autorizzate da voi cliccare su “consenti modifica” altrimenti su “nega modifica” ed il gioco è fatto

Pulizia

Inoltre può essere molto utile di tanto in tanto fare un po’ di “pulizia” nel pc… Cliccando con il tasto destro sull’icona del vostro disco fisso potete optare innanzitutto per una deframmentazione, che consiste nel “riordinare” i dati e i file che avete nel vostro pc, rendendo più possibile una pulizia più profonda in seguito…Esistono altri programmi migliori per la deframmentazione ma questa è una guida per tutti, per cui non mi sottilizzo

Per la pulizia potete scaricare un programma molto potete, Ccleaner che trovate qui:

attenzione però ad utilizzarlo al meglio altrimenti rischiate di cancellare file dal registro e trovarvi in un sacco di guai!

Utilizzate soltanto la funzione di pulizia eliminando i file dal cestino, dalla cartella temporanea di internet, i cookie etc, ma se non siete esperti, evitate di pulire il registro o fare altro con questo programma che è veramente molto potente e potrebbe creare danni se non si sa utilizzarlo…

Vi suggerisco inoltre una validissima alternativa ad Office, free e tutta italiana, che mi fu consigliata tempo fa e di cui non mi sono trovata per niente pentita:

che contiene l’equivalente di Word per scrivere, di Power Point etc ma in una variante differente e free…Con Open Office inoltre è possibile aprire tutti i file creati con Office di Windows, ed è possibile lavorare tranquillamente spesso non accorgendosi proprio delle differenze, anzi, ritrovandovi all’interno anche alcune chicche che a Office mancano!

Beh se avete domande, suggerimenti o richieste naturalmente lasciate i vostri commenti, questa è una piccola guida scritta in base alla mia esperienza personale e senza alcuna pretesa, se non di fornire qualche info utile e “capibile” a tutti, e non solo agli espertoni del pc e del web

Kilka dni temu znalazłem starego Spybota w moim zbiorze “Technic’sów”. Kto się tym bawił ten wie co to jest, a kto nie… niech łapie linka
Robotowi można wgrywać różne misje z dostarczonego w zestawie CD-ROM’u (którego nie mam), ale można też programować go w konwencjonalny sposób. Wykorzystując język NQC (Not Quite C).
Mam już klika pomysłów na wykorzystanie modułu, ale niestety dużym ograniczeniem jest to, że posiada on tylko dwa silniki (w dodatku zamontowane na stałe), czujnik dotykowy i marnej jakości czujnik optyczny. Na początek pobawię się z tym co mam, a jeśli mnie wciągnie to może pomyślę nad zakupem nowszych komputerów od LEGO o znacznie większych możliwościach.

Wszystko byłoby super, gdyby nie to, że szkoła zajmuje mi bardzo dużo czasu. :/ Dlatego też nie mogę powiedzieć kiedy zacznę pisać nową wersję mojego ‘malarza kodu’ z wykorzystaniem WinAPI.

Today we’re going to analyze this malware, I generally write articles about software protections, so I hope that my writing style will be good for malware too.

I’m used to reverse malware but this is the first time I write about it.

Backdoor.W32.rizo.ab (Kaspersky) or W32.SpyBot.Worm (Symantec) is a worm spreading through Windows MSN, it’s not too hard to reverse, it uses some anti-VM and anti-Debug protections with a little bit of cryptography.

We will discover that the coder is not so expert (we will find some bugs).

Rizo.ab is bound to another backdoor, Net-Worm.Win32.Kolabc.gau (Kaspersky) , in this article I will analyze it too.

My computer gets infected!!!

I was frustrated to know my computer to get infected by a Trojan named Win32 heur. What a troublesome trojan!! I use AVG to scan the computer. I thought the problem will be solved after I removed but it didn’t. The Trojan will regenerate!! So I find some information about this Trojan and learn that I need some spyware tool to destroy it. So i try to download this software called Spydoctor. I try tested it on the laptop before I use it on the infected computer. What makes me frustrated is the software can only do the scanning and cannot remove any malicious code from the computer. If I need the removal feature, I need to purchase it. Good thing I try it on the laptop first if not, I might be angry to learn that I need to purchase it for the additional removal feature. I try another tools which is the Spybot. The software can do the scanning as well as removing but I am not very sure of its effectiveness. After I tested it, I try to use it on the infected computer. Even though I have removed it, but I am not sure if I removed the correct stuff cause I have run it in safe mode. Now I tried to get to the normal mode. It seem like I can’t enter window. Now I try to restore window setting and turn out everything is ok. Now I am going to run AVG antivirus and Spybot again and see how it goes.

Just another day wanting to spend on reading photography books and blog designing but in the end, spending most of the time troubleshooting and removing Trojan from my computer. Sign…

With several interface refinements, faster scanning times than previous versions, and numerous other enhancements, this might be the easiest-to-use Ad-Aware yet.

Spyware Terminator is a free option that offers an easy-to-understand interface and lets you schedule your scans for the time most convenient for you. The real-time protection for this program is stronger than most, but can get distracting as you’ll need to personally approve many actions. Fortunately, you can designate a lower level of protection to keep you safe without all the hand-holding. This is one of our favorites at Download.com for its relatively quick scan times, free real-time protection, and the ability to designate how deep of a scan you want to use.

CounterSpy makes it simple to schedule and customize spyware scans or run scans on demand, while also offering an adjustable level of real-time protection. Added features like a PC Explorer to browse running ActiveX controls and running processes are useful additions. This one offers a 15-day trial with which you’ll be able to remove threats found by CounterSpy, but you’ll need to pay to use this program regularly.

SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition, despite its rather uninventive name, is a solid antispyware program. This program offers a number of options for the types of files you want scanned. Like many of the programs listed here, you’ll need to pay for the full version of SuperAntiSpyware to unlock the ability to schedule your scans and use real-time protection.

A few days ago, I was very lucky to have found a link that was going to give me free Indie songs via iTunes on Facebook. I was happy. Yet when I clicked on the link that was to open up the music software, something else appeared instead. It wasn’t the expected Apple software window; it was AVG telling me some iTunes files were infected with the Small.BOG virus. What?! I knew my iTunes software is virus-free. So I thought the only reason I got this message was that… AVG made a mistake.

Anyway, I decided to follow AVG’s recommendation. It’s the anti-virus software I’ve been using for many years along with SpywareBlaster, Spybot and CCleaner. I’ve tried some anti-virus apps previously, but they’ve used lots of system resources.They made my PC work slower. After AVG took care of the “problem,” iTunes wasn’t working.

This morning, I decided to update the anti-virus software. I was hoping this nuisance could be resolved soon. Once I updated the virus database, I decided to repair the iTunes installation. A few minutes later, iTunes was already working once again. I didn’t lose any of my songs.

A mistake by an anti-virus software seldom happens. If it happens again, make sure to check for info on blogs or forums first. Such mistakes get fixed quickly. It’s time now to download the songs I was looking for.

Hace unos días, fui muy afortunado al haber encontrado un enlace que me iba a dar canciones de grupos independientes gratis a través de iTunes en Facebook. Estaba feliz. Sin embargo, cuando hice clic en el enlace que iba a abrir el software de música, algo más apareció en su lugar. Hello, Do you find all these antiviruses and having to decide which one is the best hard work? Well in my opinion you don’t need fancy £100 antiviruses as the best ones are Free. I browse the internet alot and have had my fair share of very nasty viruses which vary from simple desktop hijackings to being infected with RATS (Remote Administration Tools, these can watch your screen, browse your files and possibly do things such as take over the mouse, open the drive etc) Keyloggers (Records all of your keystrokes and then sends them to an ftp site so people can steal valuable accounts) Trojans and even ones that delete all of your system files meaning you have to reisntall your Operating System.

Now i have tried many brand name antiviruses such as McAffee (Which is a terrible Antivirus along with ZoneAlarm) Norton Antivirus (Which i thought was quite good as i didn’t have any problems until when i came to install the 2009 version, my Serial Key Had expired which i felt slightly ripped off) and Spyware Doctor which was quite a good program although i got bored of it after the 1 year subscription However nowadays i use 3 simple programs which are keeping me free from any problems:

1. Windows Firewall. Yes this is a program which you get with the OS and is slightly handy when you need to block connection ports from certain things.

2. AVG FREE: This is a very useful program as it detects things when they run themselves meaning you can stop viruses in their tracks and it shows the locations of the files so you can find and delete the nasty things. I have used this for the past 4 months and havn’t had any problems with viruses Trojans etc.

3. Spybot Search and Destroy. This is another great Program that alerts you when registry keys are altered and asks you whether you want them to be, This is very handy as when you see an unauthorized startup Key altered (of a possible virus) you can simply click deny and then locate the file and delete it.
