Weekend review!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of visiting 2 popular BBW clubs in the Los Angeles area. The first club we went to was on Friday night at Tha Undaground aka The Big Girl Club in Maywood ran by Shadoe Gray. Shadoe was kind enough to let myself and my friend in for free to the VIP area (regularly $15). As far as venues go, it was a bit out of the way but a good sized venue with close parking for $5. There were 2 levels, upstairs is for VIP only, and a smoking patio. The smoking patio is nice because the club gets very hot inside and the open air feels so good! The drinks were averagely priced I suppose, $9 for an Adios Mother Fucker and $6 for a shot (they don’t carry Jager =o(. The DJ’s are good, the music selection is urban, as expected. Now when it comes to the crowd this is where it gets a bit sticky… the crowd was a bit one sided being predominantly african-american. There were 3 white people there including myself, my friend and Shadoe. Now normally I have no problem being the only white girl in a crowd of black men… that’s kinda my idea of heaven… but the men weren’t friendly and the women looked like they would scratch the eyes out of any man that looked our direction. Overall it was a good club that needs some diversity!

Then on Saturday we went to the Butterfly Lounge in Costa Mesa ran by Kathleen Divine. I have to say that BFL is one of my favorite places to party. It’s like an old shoe that is familiar and comfortable, I always have a good time there. The door fee is $10 and the parking is free. One thing I love about this club is there are unlimited ins and outs, so you can go outside to smoke or go to your car, whatever! The drinks are again averagely priced, and Adios is $7 and so is a shot of Jager. The bartenders are all great and I don’t mind tipping them well! The DJ plays a good mix of music so it’s easy to find something you like to dance to. The crowd here is definitely diverse and mellow, a bit of an older crowd, but yet lots of fun!

So there you have it folks… the rundown of my weekend! I had a great time with my bff Michelle and I can’t wait to do it again soon!

Coming back!

It’s been quite some time since I posted a blog about what was going on with me, and for that I apologize. As many folks know, for the last 6 months or so I have been on somewhat of a hiatus. I took some time out to find myself and figure out who “I” really am. Though my journey has had many ups and downs I feel like it has been productive. I’m not quite sure if I am any closer to really finding me, but I’ve learned some lessons and I’m still alive… barely, lol!

Coming back really has several meanings for me. I’m not only coming back to the net or to the industry, but I’m coming back to the self I used to be. For many, many months I have been out of the social loop and I feel like I’ve missed so much. I know I’ve missed my friends, events and working… I can’t tell you the last time I took a picture. I have also missed the freedom of being able to do what I want and see who I want. To be who I want.

See for me the last 6 months has been more than a hiatus, it’s been like a prison. For the first time in my life I was involved with an alcoholic. When I met him I knew he drank but not to the extent that I would find later. I thought if I changed for him, quit the industry and was a good little house kitten that he would quit drinking and we would live happily ever after, man was I delusional! The cold hard truth is that no one will change unless they want to. People have to change for themselves, period. I’m no longer in that relationship, I’ve moved past it and I’m stronger for it.

SO… what’s in my future??? Well, I’m going to get back to work making movies and taking pictures. I’m still working on my talent agency, fun. I’m looking into doing some club promotion and attending a lot more events. I’m also wanting to start up a BBW phone sex line in January. I will be blogging a lot more about myself and the events that I will be attending, etc. I have a lot on my plate and can’t wait to get started!

In closing I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me through this time. My friends and fans have really been a rock for me and if it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t have the drive and inspiration to get back to what I love, so thank you all… I LoVe you!

Black Street BBW Has Moved to A New City!

If you’ve been paying attention to blackstreetbbw you already know this, but for reasons I’ll explain later, especially if somebody cares enough to ask, blackstreetbbw’s ‘base of operations’ has moved to Washington D.C. That, combined with my new, but, unfortunately silent, camera, will mean some very fresh stuff on the site in the future. Man, I really need to get the tons, tons, and more tons of Virginia BBWs I’ve got left so I an finally get to posting the new camera vids I finally have!

I haven’t been here long, and have shifted focus a bit so I haven’t been making candid trips really, but already something got to bug me. As I arrived in the city, about 3 blocks away from where I was moving into, I looked out the car window and saw an extremely impressive set of thunderous thunder thighs outside. Of course I didn’t tape them then, and I figured I’d see her again soon with her being in the neighborhood. What bugs me is that the very next time I was in the car, the very next day, someone else was driving, I was sitting in the car thinking I should have just turned my camera on in case I saw that woman again, and guess what? She was outside waling her dog and we drove right past her! Slow! And I KNEW it was going to happen! Arg!
I went on MySpace shortly after and found pictures of this young woman below, who also happened to live in D.C.
