Aparentemente, o que parecia boato não é. Super Street Fighter IV deve ser anunciado oficialmente pela Capcom amanhã, 29 de setembro as 17h (pra nós 5 da matina!), segundo o site oficial. Aparentemente, o game foi mostrado na Tokyo Game Show 2009, mas a portas fechadíssimas e a poucas pessoas do jornalismo de games. Nas fotos que rondaram toda a web,  a que me chamou mais atenção foi essa aí de cima. É de Yoshinori Ono posando com um cara do site Gamepro da Alemanha. Lá no fundinho da foto é possível ver uma tela de tv e T-Hawk. Logo atrás do cara tem o pôster do game e abaixo você consegue ver o logo de Super Street Fighter IV.

Enfim, amigos agora só resta esperar até amanhã!

Dolbie insist on calling me a K freak. You J freak. I can understand Japanese at the very least.

Spent time talking to them MSN.Somehow i remember the time when we all sat together. It was so fun. Totally, that made me loved 3E4 because i was with you guys. MelissaHo, Anishah, Dolbie & including Liyana, sitting together with you guys was the best moments ever. Everyday was just a laughing day. I loved how our seats were arranged last time. I can’t remember how we got together but all I know, we are still together now. Quoted from Anishah: “You guys don’t know how much i love you guys.” True, me too. You guys don’t know how much i love you guys. The best sitting clique ever, you guys still rock my world until now even when we’re far separated.

Sometimes, you should add in forgive & forget and accept everything as a joke. They are great people therefore I treasure them a lot.

School today was fine. It rained yet again. I hope it doesn’t rain tomorrow. I wanna see between her & me, got gap or not. But i’m scared i’ll lose tomorrow. My stamina hasn’t been good but the good thing is, the people whom are closest to me are giving me support ^^ HIM NAE! & SNSD has a performance tomorrow. yay~

Recess, read comic :X Ugh, it’s not according to volume. zz. Gotta get the next volume but I forget what number. LOL. Chem was fun I like the teacher, so that’s why I like the subject more ^^. heheh. Cher, you rock. But you don’t rock as much as my sister does (: I lubbs my sister. I haven’t contact her still. Sigh.

Got IC too o.o kekekeke. POA just copied question then gotta leave for CIP. OH MAN, the kids at CIP were CUTEEEE love it love it. But I kinda had a bad experience. I wasn’t sure who I took but I know there were 4 of them. I can’t imagine how warm the volunteers hearts are.

Tänkte bara tipsa sen-anmälan folk där ute om att anmälningstiden till SM i segling går ut den 15e. Jag fick dessutom lite inside info om att det verkligen kommer att vara sista anmälningsdatumet då SSF har tröttnat på slöa seglare som inte kan anmäla sig i tid.

Ytterligare information är att det ska vara väldigt korta banor nära land. Runt 30 minuter. Ett medalrace kommer att seglas mellan de tre första båtarna för att göra upp om medaljerna enligt formatet först-i-mål vinner. Kommer bli sjukt kul!

One of the most beautiful festivals in germany had been taking place in Neuhausen ob Eck last weekend. More than 50.000 crazy fans joined in. Matthias (cam) and me got a litle crazy after shooting a whole night at the southside festival. Watch the outtake here (see the whole story saturday 27, 10.45 a.m.)

Det går lite blandat för teamksss seglare, efter tre race ligger David bäst till med en 27 plats tätt följd av Arvid på 34 och Max på 35. Ytterligare deltagare från teamksss är Lööf/Tillander som började starkt med en spik för att sedan ha ett mindre lyckat race för att sedan vara med i toppen igen. De ligger på plats 5 efter 3 race. Lika många race som laser har kört. Men jag kan tänka mig att de kommer att segla ytterligare ett eller två race innan den här dagen är slut då 3 race per dag är planerat. Men det verkar som att de blev för mycket vind igår eftermiddag, därav förseningen.

I laser klassen går det desto bättre för Göteborg seglarna där både Emil och Viktor ligger topp 10 med tre grymma race. Får se om vi kan få en kommentar från seglarna senare ikväll. Nu ska jag också segla, kölbåt! =)

So you know how for PBL, after our State Business Leadership Conference, I experienced what many called “PCD” (Post-Conference Depression) because of the awesome experience I had at SBLC… 

Well now… it’s in KMF/HB withdrawal :-O

The 7th Annual Korea Times Music Festival was literally my first real concert (like thing)… the venue, Hollywood Bowl, was just amazing! Although I sat pretty far (in the faraway land of section L1), the big screen TV’s provided on both side of the stadium-like place made up for the distance. So yeah, I went with my friends, people from Aethiopeia, Hypnotic Asia, and uh… I guess Soshified? (lol… because one of my friends is a member of SSF too… so I guess it counts? haha – but don’t get me wrong, there were TONS of SSF-ers at the event… a pool of pink I must say!) Since I was going to KMF/HB mainly to watch/listen to So Nyuh Shi Dae (SNSD/Girl’s Generation), I of course was wearing the awesome pink S<3NE/SSF t-shirt and bunny ears… The ironic part is that… that shirt is probably my only article of clothing that is pink! But yeah… anyways… let me give you guys a chronological timeline of my experience as a K-Pop fan

On Friday, May 8, 2009, I went to the SSF meetup at the Wilshire Grand Hotel. I got hopelessly lost on the way there (had to call my living GPS friend for help) so I arrived 15 minutes late – but it was no big deal… because people were coming and going. I bought my shirt and 3 other people’s and got the goodies that came with them… the only thing was that the balloons weren’t there yet so I just pulled out my laptop (which I brought in case I got lost and had internet connection so that I can Google map my way around – I’m prepared! lol) and just chatted on the SSF shoutbox… and when I got bored, I called my friend Diana who was like taking turn talking on the phone with my other friend Michelle… they were seriously trying to trick me or something -_- lol… 

While I was waiting, my life as an obsessive enthusiastic stalker following fan began! I heard people screaming and saw people running but wasn’t sure what it was… by this time it was around 10:15PM… and then BAM! It hit me that SNSD was arriving at the hotel! That took like 15 seconds to register in my slow head T_T so I ran like the wind (actually, not really since I was sitting like 10 feet from where the SNSD girls were trying to get into the elevator… and lo-and-behold! I got a measely 5 second video clip of Taeyeon and Jessica! Well, here is the video clip… 

Sunny and the rest of the girls came into the hotel and then the elevator a few minutes after that, but I, being ever so slow, short, and blind, did not manage to get them on video Well sometime during the wait for the SNSD/SHINee balloons, I also managed to see the backs of SS501! At first a group of guys walked by and I was like eh… they’re not SNSD… screw them… but then people started like screaming and spazzing and yelling “double S!” and I was like ahhh no! I missed seeing the front of SS501 :-O And sometime during that night, I also managed to get to see SHINee walk in from the back way but they were covering their faces… so I couldn’t see them… 

Well, I finally managed to get one SNSD balloon for each person that bought a shirt (through me)… and left at 11PM because I had to pick up my sister from her friend’s house… 

So yeah, I got home and was like “spazzing” about my first nonexistant encounter with SNSD… I mean, at least I was in the same space as them! I didn’t sleep until around 4AM and the bad part was that I had a blood/health test at 7:30AM… so I ended up only getting 3 hours of sleep that night… 

So on Saturday, May 9, 2009 I headed out to Korea Town and got there around 11:30AM. Aethiopeia was having like a little forum gathering… It was pretty cool – I got to meet all the people I talk to a lot in the shoutbox on Aethi With our lagginess, hopelessness, tendency to get lost, and anything else that was a factor that I do not remember, we managed to get to the Ventura Parking Lot by 3:30PM… where the KMF/HB shuttle takes us from the lot to the actual Hollywood Bowl where the event was to take place. 

Once we got to our destination, we were on a hunt for free stuffs! (now who don’t like freebies? NOT me! lol) After our “shopping” spree was done, we decided to call former singer and current DJ/VJ Isak for Arirang Radio/TV from SM Entertainment because she had promised us (Hypnotic Asia) the week before that while she is at KMF/HB, she would give us the opportunity to interview her! First call resulted in a miss call, but the second call came through and we talked to her cousin… however, her cousin wasn’t with her so we had to wait for her cousin to call back when they’re together again… Our moment occurred around 4:30PM… A little bit earlier than that, we recieved a call from her cousin telling us where Isak was currently. So we searched around and finally saw her filming/interviewing. Isak is really pretty and nice!!! Then we finally got to interview her! She even fullfilled our request of giving a shoutout to Hypnotic Asia and all of her loyal Mid-Day Break listeners! We were so ecstatic! Right after that, Mari and I managed to get her to sign/autograph something real quick (Mari with her SM book that she made, and I with my measely notebook that I have never used before lol…)

The concert… was epic! Although I do not understand Korean… it was still… EPIC! I did record some of the performances (whether whole or just a little bit)… but towards the end (where the groups I wanted to see were performing…) my camera ran out of memory and then battery… I felt really sad =( especially since my memory ran out right after SNSD sang “Girls’ Generation” and “Gee”… so I didn’t manage to get “Himnae” on video… but I did get it on audio! I also had to only audio record all of SS501’s performances… and then somewhere during that time… I ran out of memory T_T well anyways, below are my fancams of Taeyeon’s duet with Lee Juk, singing “Goose Dream” and Jessica’s duet with Lena Park, singing “You Raise Me Up.” Just beware that I did sat in the faraway land of section L1 so my fancams are 1) blurry 2) shaky 3) sad

Okay, so after the concert… we like sped to the Wilshire Grand Hotel to a) see if we catch any last glimpse of the singers b) Mari and I really needed to use the restroom ROFL and c) Diana and Mari had to wait for Alta and Jenny… like literally… Wilshire Blvd never seemed so long in my life =O it just kept on going… and going… and going… and I was beginning to doubt myself if I was even going in the right direction… because I was just heading to the hotel based on my noobie knowledge of the area… (remember I got lost just the night before… lol)… We finally saw the hotel around 12:15AM… but couldn’t find any street parking/cheap parking lots so we circled the area for a while… and finally gave up and just decided to park at the Ernst & Young Plaza (which ended up costing $7.05 for almost 2 hours)… 

Our efforts were not in vain… we got to see first see SS501 like right when we got to the main lobby of the hotel, and then SNSD and SHINee at the same time at around 1:15AM… Unfortunately… I”m a little on the slow, short, and blind side T_T so I only got to see SHINee’s heads/faces… being a SNSD fan… I was really hoping to see the girls and maybe get their autographs but I didn’t… 

And yeah… my camera DIED toward the latter part of the concert (like I mentioned somewhere up there) so I couldn’t record anything while I was at the Wilshire Grand Hotel that night… but my friend did! Check out her Youtube channel!

And so… we had to go home… and we left the hotel a little before 2AM… next year, we are SO getting BETTER seats… and (maybe) staying at the hotel! And I hope that SNSD will come again… although there is a chance they won’t because they have already performed at KMF/HB twice… there are talks about how artists don’t come for more than 2 years… I’m just hoping that they do come again… if not, they better have a debut or tour in the US! lol…

The Senate ended its term this Wednesday (even though there is technically a meeting next Wednesday, at 8 AM, to settle the final consent agenda), marking an end to their careers. For the first fifteen minutes or so, the Senate held itself together to do actually legislative work; which is to say, capitulate entirely to the executive branch. At last week’s meeting, the Senate reduced the Treasurer’s stipend from the proposed $3,000 to $2,500 (the current amount is $2,000). Today, Elect Nagata came forth with his proposed bylaws, in an attempt to justify his proposed budget. The new bylaws, relating to the Treasurer, read as follows:

10. The ASUA Treasurer shall work in conjunction with the other executives (President, EVP and AVP)

11. The ASUA Treasurer shall establish business relationships with local business to secure sponsorships for ASUA programs and services.

12. The ASUA Treasurer shall network in the University and Tucson community to find fundraising opportunities and bring dollars into the ASUA budget.

13. The ASUA Treasurer shall assist any and all directors to help find financial support for their program or service.

14. The ASUA Treasurer shall record all business and university partnerships for the continued use for future ASUA Treasurers.

15. The ASUA Treasurer will make recommendations on all financial policies and procedures to implement the most sustainable financial system possible.

16. The ASUA Treasurer will seek out investment opportunities to grow the overall budget of ASUA.

17. The ASUA Treasurer shall advise all areas of ASUA on all financial matters.

18. The ASUA Treasurer will assist all other executives in the strategic planning, vision development and execution of such goals.

19. The ASUA Treasurer shall maintain office hours compared to their [sic] executive colleagues.

Essentially, the Treasurer is being Geithnerized; if 10, 15, 17, and 18 aren’t already happening, your author would be surprised. Elect Nagata offered a compromise at $2,750, 75 percent of his proposed stipend. Yet the long list was enough to cow the Senate, which approved Sen. Rubio’s amendment to raise the amount back to Nagata’s originally proposed $3,000; Sen. Jason Mighdoll was the sole dissenter. It is not extreme to say that the legislative branch has entirely given itself to the executive; which, incidentally, mirrors what has happened to legislatures nationwide.

The other eighty minutes or so were spent on Senate reports, an end of the meeting function that usually takes no more than ten minutes. Today, though, the reports went on for over an hour, allowing each Senator enough time to wax poetic on his or her memories of the rad time enjoyed with his or her fellow Senators. The reports resembled nothing more than a podcasting of a high school yearbook. Spectators were treated to the nicknames like ‘Jimmy Jim’ and ‘Ditzy Fritze;’ to allusions involving a capella versions of Lion King numbers, Chi-O date dashes, and rock-jumping; to vapid song lyrics and praises hinging on words like “spirit,” “family,” and “support.”

Curious, though, is how this contrasts with the discussion over the election code. While most elected officials prepare typed responses to serious issues (such as this wonderfully spineless statement from then Sen. Obama explaining his vote supporting warrantless wiretapping), none of the Senators did any such thing for the elections code, or the impeachment bylaws, or stipends – instead, we are assured that these issues were settled at outside Senate gatherings. Yet for these end-of-the-year paeans to a grand ol’ time, the Senate exerts all the effort it can muster, preparing typed-out reflections. Providing worthwhile praises to their colleagues, in other words, merits more work in the public sphere than ensuring basic election principles, or preserving the rights of the accused, or executive compensation, or fighting for freedom of speech. Meanwhile, $1.3 million have vanished into the Abyss.

We’re all glad that you had a great time - but you are also our elected representatives. So when Sen. Gabrielle Zicarelli smiles and proclaims that, “I am honored to have served as your ASUA senator,” one must wonder: “What do you mean ‘your’, kemosabe?” The room is entirely filled with ASUA officials, officials-elect, the Wildcat reporters, and your working boy. This, naturally, is the same crew to whom the Senate has been speaking this entire time. The echo chamber is deafening, so full of its own noise that one must work very hard to discern the original whisper that sparked it all.

By the end, we know far too much about the various nicknames of the Senate, and far too little about their decision-making mindset  - which is exactly what one should expect of a bizarro government. Save the lovefest for soliloquies at Frog & Firkin, and, like your legislative counterparts, use the public meetings for actual public debates. This site isn’t holding out hope; after all, as Sen. Rubio himself said, “Everything around here is just politics as usual.” Indeed.

President Bruce must be commended for largely averring from this legislative onanism (as opposed to his executive counterparts), but he must be condemned for simply stating that, “The Student Services Fee Board is a model for other boards across the country.” Here, we sure hope that democracy-subverting commisars posturing as representatives of student will are not the way of the future.

Capcom ha rilasciato in giornata odierna la prima patch per Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

Il nuovo aggiornamento è disponibile una volta avviato il gioco sia su Xbox 360 sia su PlayStation 3 ed ha un peso di circa 300 mb. Questa patch, a detta degli sviluppatori, dovrebbe risolvere i vari problemi riscontrati da numerosi utenti durante le partite online (disconnessioni, cali di frame-rate e quant’altro).

The Sønderborg Student Foundation threw us a thank-you party for working at the grand opening party and it started off with bowling, dinner at a Mongolian restaurant downtown and a private party back at Tutten with the alcohol left over. (Still not drinking!)  We had a bit of a karaoke session and Raz asked me to sing. I didn’t want to but I joined him anyway. It was Ironic by Alanis Morissette.

I was belting it out at the top of my lungs, Raz wasn’t much of a singer so I didn’t feel so bad about my horrid singing, but as I was singing it…it didn’t sound bad. So I thought…wow, I’m not singing so badly! Then we finished the song and Eva walked up to the mic and turned it on.

I was laughing so hard which set everyone else off. I was thinking “shit, I could’ve sung Céline Dion’s My Heart Will Go On or something really high pitch by Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston.

Then three of us sang Shout by Lulu but the track started about 2 seconds before the words came up on screen and we were pretty much screwed from the start. We gave up halfway through and ended up rapping it. I have never seen so many people collapse from laughter in my life.

At the moment there’s a lot of stress going on. We’ve started work and a lot of it is groupwork, actually, I lie, ALL of it is groupwork. So I’m getting calls from Demian asking to meet up for Internet Commerce (we’re working on the iTunes store) or from Celia and Antreas (we’re working on Ryanair). I have done some work…but not much. It doesn’t help that my room is a skanky mess, I need to wash plates that I’m sure have been sitting here since Jesus was a child.  It doesn’t help that my sleeping pattern is messed up so I’m sleeping at 6am or 7am and waking up at 3pm. Sigh.

I’m not feeling so homesick now. But it lasted an entire week. I didn’t want to speak to anyone, I didn’t want to leave my room, I just wanted to book a flight home where I could see my boyfriend and more importantly…EAT something. Other than that free dinner we had yesterday, I have been living off cornflakes for a week because I’m flat out broke. If there’s any good part of this, it’s hopefully if I have to keep living on one meal a day, I might be able to fit into those gorgeous skinny jeans I bought from (dare I say it?)
