It’s me, Golden Eagle! Scary Tomato kindly invited me to work here at this awesome blog! I’ll be posting Creator’s Blog updates and other stuff that even I don’t know about. I live for Soupwords and that’s the only game I play, and I’m always looking for a challenge. I’ve beat all the islands, too.  I also have a bunch of Poptropicans, about eight of them (was seven, but Sanzulines on the PHF convinced me to have an even number). I usually check on all my Poptropicans once a day, and pick a random one to play with. All my Poptropicans have at least four stars.

I live in the USA, but in the East, so I live in Eastern Standard time (EST). Those of you who live in America will see me more often than some of the other blog staff that live across the world. But anyway, I’m on summer vacation until August 26. When I start school I promise I’ll check up when I can.

I’m 12 as of right now, and my birthday is on April 14. I also work on one more blog, Poptropical Thunder’s Blog, and I am a active member of the PHF.

Well Raquel, setting a deadline sounds brilliant! That estates precisely how long we ( The Crew ) need to brainstorm nice ideas, hints and previous experiences! It also makes clear that we can’t wait that long to hear from the guys since the date that the Project will be *really* started ( games set, lounge ready… ) is on its way! First things first, I’d say that it sounds interesting to have access to the kind of games that are about to be used so some planning could be under the spotlight ( that would also give us an idea of each groups would fit into each game ). I’m all for trying to set some activities so we could have two small groups interacting at the same time in the lounge ( that would save that *I-am-so-shy* effect for the 5 minute activities to come ). We still have some time to work on the ideas, sure thing! But do remember dear fellas: “it’s funny how time flies”, so does Orland Orzabal sing at the end of a famous Tears for Fears tune!

Heyas Botafogo Crew! I do hope you had a great week at work! As you know, we had some visitors yesterday during our break and some important issues were raised. Among them one concerns making the best of the Cultura Project! Ok, Ok, and what is that? We’ve shared loads of gorgeous ideas to be put into practice with students while they are waiting for their classes to start! So far, so good! ( btw, thank you ALL for you contributions ) Needless to say that all of them were to be used during the 10-5 minutes before students getting into the classroom and that would help them to switch into English ( maybe naturally with time ) as “warm up” activities usually do English teaching basis. But, we are also being given the opportunity to make use of the LOUNGE as a whole while taking our students outside the *classroom walls* once all the equipment is set and ready to be *powered on*. That would ( will actually ) happen during class time and would definitely enhance not only the project itself, but the pupils involvement in our common target: to have an English speaking atmosphere, no matter where we go while in the premises ( maybe outside too, huh? ). Well, I would like to hear from you: is that a great idea ??? ( I am ALL for it Is it possible to have both activities happening ( We would have the 10-5 min activities going on with groups that are not schedule to go outside, while the ones that are scheduled don’t need the *before class* activities? )
You may say NO NO hey,,, I’m snowed under, let’s have just one of them happening, huh?

To tell you the truth, only the truth, nothing BUT the truth, I prefer the ones that * may* take place during class time! It can carry the *surprise element* once students don’t need to know when they will be started and there is no way they are not there to take part in it ( unless they have really missed that class ).

Hi, all,

How about putting up a list setting up a date & time so people can check what time they could attend (either morning or afternoon)? Then we could brainstorm ideas, pick 3 or 4 out to try them out asap.

Congrats, Congrats! Wooot!

Well guys, first of all I’d like to thank you ALL for your contributions! It is really nice to access our blog having to scroll down the bar given the amount of ideas and comments. I guess it is high time we put them into practice huh? Have you tried any of the acitvities posted yet? Any news on how to implement them so we can write from the “real” perspective? We are counting on you ( all of you ) so we can keep the ball rolling!
