Bei Unimatrix Zero bin ich irgendwann eingeschlafen, leider, aber ich hab ja alles auf DVD, da kann ich mir alle 7 Staffeln nochmal anschauen. Dann habe ich gerade gelesen, ich habe GARGOYLES verpasst!!!!

Wow, wie habe ich diese Serie als Kind geliebt und liebe sie immernoch, aber auch davon habe ich dank dem damaligen STAGE6 alle Folgen zu Hause… Hmm könnte ich mir ja mal wieder anschauen. ^.^

TIMM.:  ab 08.15 Rodrigo – Spiel der Herzen

Eine schlecht gemachte Telenovela aus Kolumbien. Aber auch wenn diese Serie wirklich amateurmäßig produziert wurde, hat es mich irgendwie gepackt. Letzte Woche habe ich durch Zufall die ersten 5 oder 6 Folgen gesehen und ich fand es unglaublich faszinierend, dass zu Beginn die selbe Thematik herrschte, wie in dem Theaterstück “Auf Sendung” von der Theaterspielwerkstatt Oberhausen, in der mein kleiner Bruder “Lopkowitz” den Regisseur einer Reality TV Show spielt. Fand ich wirklich lustig!! Danach wurde es aber immer spannender bei Rodrigo und jetzt kann ich es kaum erwarten, die nächste Folge zu sehen. Zum Glück wird der Sender TIMM. auch über Zattoo ausgestrahlt, denn ich habe zu Hause ja keinen Fernseher bzw. keinen mit TV-Programm (ist nur an DVD- und VHS-Gerät angeschlossen). Aber wofür brauch man TV, wenn es Internet gibt? Gibts wenigstens keine Werbung, vor allem nachts… “Heiße Gina Wilde Filme, wähle die V26″… Aaaargh und das in 3 Spots hintereinander, man kanns einfach nicht mehr hören!!

Naja, soviel zum Thema TV, also war ich nun das ganze Wochenende über bei meiner Mutter um bewegte Bilder zu konsumieren… Ich bin aber trotz ausnahmsweise mal gutem Programm immernoch nicht so ganz überzeugt und favorisiere Internetnutzung.

Vor Allem, weil man sich dann nicht so ärgert etwas verpasst zu haben, weil man es nicht geschafft hat 24h lang wach zu bleiben… Ich werd alt. Oo.

Videoseiten gibt es viele im Netz, doch die meisten Videos, die dort angeboten werden, sind viel zu klein in der Auflösung und zudem noch in schlechter Qualität. Ganz anders die Seite Zipd.de. Hier kann man wie bei Stage6 DivX Videos in bester Qualität betrachten und das getrost auch im Vollbildmodus. Alles, was man dafür braucht, ist ein Web-DivX-Player, den man hier kostenlos runter laden kann. Das Uploaden von neuen Videos ist auch sehr einfach gestaltet, man muss dafür nicht einmal registriert sein. Desweiteren kann man auch andere Dateien uploaden (Bilder & PDF’s). Kostenlos ist das Ganze auch noch und wird verständlicherweise durch ein wenig Werbung finanziert. Unterm Strich eine sehr gelungene Internetseite, deren Angebot mit der Zeit sicherlich noch stark wachsen wird. Ein Blick lohnt sich auf alle Fälle, auch wenn YouTube vor Kurzem die mögliche Videoqualität nach oben geschraubt hat.

dalla chiusura di stage 6, molti siti hanno fatto a gara per prenderne il posto,

pultroppo il caro vecchio stage 6 era una community tipo youtube ma permetteva di mettere e vedere films in divx! qualità chiaramente maggiore.

comunque anche altri formati permettono spazi ridotti e qualità accettabile!

Hace tiempo que uso este programa, el VDownloader. Con él puedes descargarte vídeos de Youtube, Dailymotion,Stage6, Break y Cuba mientras los estas viendo. (Puedes poner un enlace a un vídeo no abierto o cargado en ese instante, pero el programa no trabajará tan rápido).

Otra gran ventaja es la conversión simultanea que hace el propio programa pudiendo convertir los vídeos en avi u otros más problemáticos como el 3GP, para la PSP o para un Ipod, incluso en mp3 si sólo quieres el sonido. Eso sí, yo recomiendo bajarlo en su formato original, flv.

Wenn man mal so das Angebot an Streams anschaut, dann ist Veoh zusammen mit dem Programm VeohTV inzwischen ein ganz guter Ersatz für Stage6 geworden. Man muss halt wissen was man suchen muss

Is some die-hard DivX fan trying to resurrect the shuttered Stage 6 video sharing service? Ghacks was tipped by a commenter to Stage6 clone DiVxit.net.

The site is live with the messages “DivX Stage6 returns here on April 29th 2008,” and “Stage6 Alternative / Clone.” There are also some status indicators saying the backbone and media servers are online, the GUI is completed, and the Divixit Core coverter is “near completion.”

Update: How quickly things change. Kevin alerted us in our comments that DivXit now redirects to VReel.net and the launch has been pushed back to May 6th. There’s also a Q&A section that has some basic answers, but not much detail. Here’s a snippet:

A: No, Vreel is simply using the DivX codec & webplayer in order to provide the public with a free, High Definition video-streaming website. We have no official Affiliation with the DivX corperation, or the Stage6 platform. Our Video database will be built from the ground up from day one onwards. DivXit.net isn’t the only entity out there who can’t let go of Stage6, hostmedia.us is asking for donations as it tries to build its own replacement.
