Since we were running out of food choices for our last night in Tagaytay, we scouted for the restaurants around our hotel for something different, nice and filling. We found Army Navy.

The place looks like a barracks for soldiers, which is probably why it’s named as such. I had a weird feeling about it because it was a fairly new concept for me when it comes to food. Everything on the menu seemed enticing and yummy and it looks like the servings are big.

Waiting time was quite long, but it was worth the wait. Papa ordered the Starving Sailor Steak Sandwich which was a great choice. The serving was quite big for Papa so he had to split it into 3 so that he can share. The Cheese Quesadilla was scrumptious and I love the iced tea they named LiberTea. I ordered the Classic Burger with Chesse which I wasn’t able to finish because it was too big and I was already full after eating a third of the steak sandwich. Their Freedom Fries are thinly-cut and deep fried with just the right amount of spice.

Now I know why people are buzzing about Army Navy. The food is definitely worth the wait and the price.

Have you tried Army Navy before? I hope you can share your thoughts here. I’d love to hear from you.
