I was subpoenaed by regular mail to appear in court and testify as a witness against my boyfriend for assaulting me. We've been together for 5 years and he has never handled me the way he did. I was scared and called the police and wrote a statement. But i don't want to press charges. Do I have to go to court? What do I do?
