But we don’t want to only hear from the 99%. “Maybe you work in Wall Street and you’re fed up with these protests and believe they are unfair,” Piers said. Besides questions from the audience, you can also tweet your questions to Moore during the show by using the #OccupyPiersTonight hashtag tonight, 9pmET.

Juan Williams is a former NPR host, who was fired, and is now a Fox News commentator. Tonight, he talks to Piers Morgan on CNN at 9pmET/PT. Williams gives his assessment of President Barack Obama‘s performance so far. “I think the whole situation has been disappointing,” says Williams. “If you look at the numbers, the American people still like President Obama…It’s when you come to actual job performance that you see the numbers dip.”

But Williams thinks the person with the best shot to be President in 2012 is Obama. “If you had to place a bet…I would say you bet on Obama,” he says.

Each day, we here at “Piers Morgan Tonight” put together the news you need to know – from what happened last night to what will happen today.

For October 21, 2011 – Gadhafi, Romney, Sarkozy and Stern…

• What comes next for Libyans with Moammer Gadhafi dead? “Libyans know many obstacles lie ahead. But on Friday, a day after Moammar Gadhafi’s death, the streets of Tripoli still echoed with the sounds of celebratory gunfire, car horns and cheers. In Misrata — a city scarred by attacks during the Libyan war — drivers leaned on their horns and came to brake-squealing stops as bands of revelers darted in and out of traffic.”

• And how about NATO – what happens with them in the region? “NATO officials are meeting in Brussels Friday to discuss what should happen next, but it seems unlikely that any member states will want a protracted involvement. Deputy U.S. State Department spokesman Mark Toner said Thursday that the mission was “near its end,” while French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe told French radio station Europe 1 early Friday that “the military operation is finished.”

• Europe’s debt crisis continues: “French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel issued a statement Thursday saying they have “agreed to provide a comprehensive and ambitious global response to the current crisis.” But the leaders of Europe’s two largest economies said final adoption of the proposed response would be made by European Union heads of state at a separate meeting that will take place some time before next Wednesday.”

• Mitt Romney is sounding very confident: “At an economic roundtable of business leaders in Treynor, Iowa, the candidate began the question-and-answer session by saying: “Your topics are at your choosing. But there’s a good shot I might become the next president of the United States. It’s not a sure thing, but it’s a good shot.”

• The NBA lockout continues: “Just another day in the NBA lockout, with each side blaming the other for the latest collapse in negotiations, Derek Fisher emphatically declaring the league had “lied” to reporters and the union painting Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen as some silent-assassin-style robot sent to terminate negotiations.”

Surging GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain was a guest on “Piers Morgan Tonight” last night, and opened up about all things political and personal. Cain talked about racism and the tea party. “My experience has been, there is no more a racist element in the tea party than there is in the general population at large,” he said. “This is the biggest misperception.”

Cain also discussed why he says “Black” and not “African American” and what his “calling” is:

Said Cain: “I identify as a ‘black American’ more so than an ‘African American.’ Yes, many of the slaves came from Africa, but my heritage is mostly here, in the United States.”

Cain discussed his “calling”: “My calling is to make a difference. And I have done this all my life…It took 12 years for this journey to unfold.”

Click to watch video

In the above video, he also commented on other GOP candidates in the field. Of Rep. Michele Bachmann and Gov. Rick Perry, he said: “When I listen to their answers to questions, most of the time they get off track.”

Jon Huntsman is polling between 1 and 2% in all the national polls, but the 2012 GOP candidate has a new strategy – focus on New Hampshire. He is skipping tomorrow’s CNN debate in Las Vegas and staying in New Hampshire. “I like where we’re going in New Hampshire,” he tells Piers Morgan. “All the polls show that we’re moving up, we’re now in low double-digits. This is exactly where we want to be. We want a steady, gradual, substantive rise.”

Huntsman also backed up the harsh words of his father about Mitt Romney. “I think on this issue he’s probably dead on the mark,” he says.
