Como buen fan, el que tuvo retuvo, y aunque pasen los años y uno ya esté mas cerca de la treintena que un suspirico, dentro de mi sigue habiendo resquicios del adolescente fanático que antaño fuí.

Mi casa está encasillada en rojo, negro y blanco. Algún resquicio se escapa del circulo vicioso en el que yo mismo me he metido, pero es complicado salirse de los tonos. Pero a partir de poco (cuando consiga agenciarme un super taladro) mis paredes van a estar adornadas por lo que hace unos doce años decoraron éstas mismas paredes.

Individuo las Vegas, allá por diciembre de 2007, tras asistir al concierto que siempre deseé asistir y nunca pude, aparecio con un super poster que me había comprado para que recordara ese día. El concierto era de Spice Girls. Después de diez años esperando el concierto, pude ir a Madrid y ver de nuevo juntas y probablemente por última vez (quien sabe), a las que en su día hicieron que empapelara mi habitación. Dentro de poco, un nuevo “cuadro” colgará de nuevo en la que en aquel entonces era mi habitación. El poster ahora está customizado, metido bajo un cristal, con la entrada de aquel día, y con los recuerdos de aquel fin de semana. Por cierto, gracias Las Vegas.

Años después y siguiendo la racha de conciertos, hice las maletas y me fuí a París a otro concierto, y ésta vez por partida doble. Madonna aterrizaba en París, e Individuo Castro y yo tambien. Ésta vez fui yo mismo el que como recuerdo de aquellas dos noches increibles y acordandome de mi pared vacía, me compré un nuevo poster de aquella gira. La cosa no quedó solo en esos dos conciertos, ya que al año siguiente, Las Vegas y un menda, nos liamos la manta a la cabeza y terminamos en Zaragoza viendo de nuevo ese mismo concierto. Tres conciertos, tres entradas y un poster que después de haber sufrido alguna modificación, pasará a formar parte de esa pared de mi cuarto rojo.

Una pared que me recuerda que he estado horas y horas haciendo colas en las puertas de estadios de futbol, plazas de toros, etc. Horas de sufrimiento hasta casi el desmayo y hacerme pis encima en el concierto de Spice Girls en Madrid debido a la mala organización en la entrada. Horas de risas y nuevas amistades en la cola de París mientras Castro volvía al hotel porque se olvidó la entrada en la habitación.

De estos dos tengo recuerdos a modo de nueva decoración. De otros como el de Christina Aguilera en Barcelona, o el de Shakira en Pamplona, solo quedan recuerdos en mi cabeza. Igual de horas esperando, y con la misma ilusión en cada uno de ellos.

Bueno, no, por supuesto muchísimo mas en Spice. Siempre seré un Spice Boy. Soy así, el que me conoce lo sabe, y creo que a estas alturas ya no cambiaré. El niño-chico-adolescente-joven-casi treintañero, sigue siendo un fan, y ahora tengo cosas en casa que lo atestiguan.

Madonna, U2 and AC/DC are among the finalists for the 2009 Billboard Touring Awards, which are based on global box-office numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore from October 1, 2008, through September 30, 2009.

The awards will be presented at a November 5 reception in New York.

The finalists for the Top Tour and Top Draw awards, which acknowledge the top-grossing and top-ticket-selling tours, respectively, are the same three global treks: U2’s 360 tour, Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour, and AC/DC’s Black Ice tour.

E três dias depois, estou novamente falando em Madonna -hahaha-. A rainha do pop continua dominando o cenário mundial, seja com a coletânea “Celebration”, com a “Sticky & Sweet” a turnê mais lucrativa de um artista solo ou simplesmente com notícias essencias como esta que trago a vocês – hahahaha. Guy Ritchie, diretor e ex-marido da cantora, fez as seguintes declarações a revista “Esquire”:

“Ela é uma exibicionista. Exibicionista de marca maior. Madonna faz as coisas acontecerem. Ponha Madonna contra qualquer (artista) de vinte e poucos anos que ela vai mostrar mais trabalho, que dança melhor, se apresenta melhor. A mulher arregaça”.

Concordo com a declaração do Ritchie. A apresentação de Madonna com Lady Gaga no “SNL” no sábado foi a comprovação disso. A “tia” arrasou, ofuscou e – no bom sentido – humilhou a novata.

“E, claro, lá vou eu: Eu ainda a amo. Mas ela é uma retardada, também.”

As previously announced, the Sticky & Sweet Tour (Live from Buenos Aires) DVD will be released sometime later this fall. In the 2009 S&S Tour, there were 3 songs added to the setlist and as the huuuuuuge Madonna fans we all are, we were asking Guy Oseary if those songs will be in the DVD.

Guy Oseary spent some time on twitter last night and said that “Holiday”, “Dress You Up” and “Frozen” won’t be included in the DVD, “as it was done after we shot and edited the dvd..”

"Holiday" will find its way to the fans hands!

However they were filmed in Israel and “we are trying to find a way to get them to the fans.. We have to edit the footage first and then decide how it gets to your hands..”

VERY exciting news!!!! Guy Oseary is also releasing the “Sticky & Sweet” book on November, so be sure to get a copy of that too!

A year and a half ago, I had a gig at this small lounge called Blue Martini in Orlando, FL. Little did I know that one gig would change my life. Since then, I’ve traveled to 31 countries and performed 85 shows in front of over 3 million people.

As you know Chris Lamb said that there were gonna be a few surprises in the last show in Tel Aviv… but there was also one surprise that not even Madonna knew about! In the last seconds of “Spanish Lesson” when the dancers take their black coats off, they wear no clothes! (don’t be shocked, they did have their underpants on!). Watch the video here!

Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” Tour made history as it wrapped up last night with two final shows in Tel Aviv, Israel at Yehoshua Gardens (HaYarkon Park, September 1 and 2).
The Material Girl more than lives up to her name, as her tour becomes the most successful tour ever by a solo artist. After playing 85 shows since its launch in August 2008, Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” has drawn more than 3.5 million fans in 32 countries and has grossed US$408 million, it was announced today by Live Nation, the tour’s global producer. “Sticky & Sweet” is also the second highest grossing tour of all time.

Madonna set an attendance record for the biggest crowds in history in Zurich, Switzerland, where she drew the largest audience ever assembled for a show in that country (72,000).
Her Gothenburg, Sweden show, seen by 119,000 fans, broke the record for highest grossing multiple shows in the country’s history.
In Helsinki, Finland, “Sticky & Sweet” sold more than 85,000 tickets, making it the biggest single show by an artist in history for all of Scandinavia.

Other highlights on the tour included stops in Buenos Aires, Argentina (256,000), Santiago, Chile (146,000), Sao Paulo, Brazil (203,000), Tallinn, Estonia (72,000), Warsaw, Poland (79,000), Bucharest, Romania (69,000), and Sofia, Bulgaria (54,000).

“With ‘Sticky & Sweet’ Madonna has proven yet again that there is virtually no limit to what she can accomplish both creatively and commercially,” said Arthur Fogel, Live Nation’s Chairman of Global Music and CEO of Global Touring.

“Sticky & Sweet” broke Madonna’s previous record of most successful tour by a solo artist with her 2006 Confessions Tour, which grossed US$194 million.

In the final show of the Sticky & Sweet Tour in Tel Aviv, Madonna’s children Rocco and Lola got down on the stage with the dancers and band and made Tel Aviv Stickier & Sweeter! More specifically Rocco played with DJ Enferno on the decks during “Music” while Lola took over Ric’key’s piano in “The Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You” and also danced along in “Give it 2 me”!

I read last night that Lola was on the piano during “Devil” but I thought that Ric’key was with her, but it seems the Madonna clone can handle those keys perfectly! Check this video to see Rocco as the DJ!

Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour was the big winner at the sixth annual Billboard Touring Awards, taking home honors for Top Tour and Top Draw, which acknowledge the highest-grossing and highest-attended tours of the year, respectively. Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary won the Top Manager award.

The Billboard Touring Awards are based on worldwide data reported to Billboard Boxscore for the period Oct. 1, 2008, through Sept. 30, 2009.

Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, after receiving many questions from fans concerning the Sticky & Sweet Tour DVD, tweeted earlier today that the DVD/CD will NOT be ready on December and that they’re still working on it!

The DVD has been broadcasted on TV in Europe and the USA, but apparently the Madonna camp has heard the fans who requested for the new songs of the 2009 leg of the tour to be added on the DVD as well!

“Holiday”, “Dress you Up” and “Frozen” were all recorded in the final shows in Tel Aviv for future release!

An update will be posted on madonna.com soon!
