I have another Chainsaw. That makes three so I guess I am now a Collector. I got this one shipped from Holland to the UK in exchange for a larger one I had no need for. I also have a Husqvarna 235e, which I purchased brand new earlier this year, and an Echo CS-601, which is a 60cc saw with a 21″ Bar & Chain which is very heavy and very powerful. I do like my saws, apart from their obvious practical use, they are very interesting and are steeped in history. Many people made their living in the timber industry, and Chainsaws played a big part.  I am not in a financial position to collect Classic Automobiles or Motorcycles, so collecting and using saws allows me to tinker with engines, and play with really scary toys. I am a Carpenter & Joiner, so I have the greatest respect for the most dangerous powertool in the world…

Wat zal ik ervan zeggen? Grote mensen hebben grote problemen, met knappe vrouwen heb je gauw problemen en gezien de geschiedenis van het heelal maakt het weinig uit dat de koffie op is en de veters verdwenen zijn.

Voel me alleen heel gevaarlijk nu. Nu ik koppijn heb door een caffeïnetekort en in het bezit ben van een kettingzaag. Een Stihl-kettingzaag op benzine: voor het gemak, en tegen bomen, zombies en plunderaars.

Today at STIHL Inc. in Virginia Beach,Virginia, Denny Hamlin’s #11 FEDEX show car was displayed on the company’s premises to be oogled at by the plant employees. Denny was raised in Virginia and shows love to his state all the time. It is unclear why exactly the car was displayed at STIHL Inc, whether a request by the company or a reach out done by Hamlin’s camp. Nevertheless it was a cool experience to hear the car run up close and to be able to see into the cabin of the car as well as under the hood. The exterior details were cool. To me the car didn’t stand out too far in the design department, getting past the “vinyl stickers” the aerodynamics were basic. My favorite motorsports racing being from the Asia based Super GT Series,which offers a variety of aerodynamic feats. But I have a lot of LOVE for Hamlin driving a TOYOTA CAMRY!!!

Mest sagt med glimten i ögat men dock med en viss sanning. Yngste sonen drog på sig en rejäl halsfluss sista veckorna på dagis och hur får man i jordens äckligaste medicin (Kåvepenin) i en 5-åring som är lika högljudd & envis som en röd gris? Man kan vara pedagogisk, auktoritär och helt enkel köra pappas metod: ät äcklig medicin och skrik bara lite så får du en röjsåg. Gissa vad som funkade?

Och innan nån anmäler mig för vanvård av barn: röjsågen är alltså en batteridriven leksak från Stihl och i princip ofarlig även om nu sonen som är en ordentlig liten kille (ibland) för säkerhets skull lånat pappas  hjälm och hörselkåpor.
