Ok so here are the details as of Sunday Nov. 29 2009.
I was contacted back about 6 months ago about doing a solo show of my images in a LA downtown gallery named Todd/ Browning Gallery run/owned by William (Wil) Eisesman.
We made arrangements for the show to run from Nov. 11th to Dec 5th 2009.
Contracts were signed, etc I also sent him a case of books to sell at the opening gala.
The opening went off very well , all the work was hung nicely and the general reaction to the show was very positive.
Between these times Wil and I talk often on the phone and through emails.
On Friday Nov . 27th a friend of mine wanted to bring her son to see the show. When she arrived the Gallery was gone.
No sign, no furniture, no work , no books, all of my 18 pieces were gone. It looked like is was an empty store front.
She immediately called me.
I called Wil, & emailed him several times, Nothing.
No return calls , no return emails, nothing.
And mind you that through all of this he never once mentioned to me that he was closing the show early, or moving out or that anything was wrong in any way. Through all of our correspondences both on the phone and email there was no sign of anything being wrong.
In fact, and here is the kicker , My wife Heather Eve called him on Wednesday Nov. 25th to check-in because we had not received promised photos of the opening and he said nothing and in fact said “I am hoping for a good black Friday for sales “
So here I sit waiting to file a police report with the LAPD on Monday morning.
Still have heard nothing, Gallery is empty , Mr. Eiseman is MIA, my work is MIA.
Almost $15, 000 dollars worth of art gone.
I have no clue as what to do, except to warn other artist and spread this story in hopes that it may save someone else a lot of money and aggravation.
Beware this person.

Fabolous’s name was running rampant in headlines after being accused of being affiliated with the stealing of a Lamborghini Gallardo. As previously reported, various news outlets reported that the MC and members of his entourage were wanted for questioning in connection the incident. The final nail in the coffin for Fabo and his crew was when surveillance footage showing two members of his entourage receiving keys to the ride accidentally given to them by a confused valet was released.

Now days since the news hit the net, Fabo is speaking out in his own defense.

The self proclaimed ‘Twitter King’ had a few choice words for people on his website of choice. He took to his my @FabolousLife  page Friday and told his followers that he’d been pulled over by police for an unrelated incident that morning.

“On my way 2 Promenade.. Got pulled over but we on the move now..Cops pull us over & say “do u know u were speedin?” I said “Yeah, we’re in a rush!” Lol.. He didn’t find that funny.. Smh.”

Adding comic relief to the situation and a plea of innocence Fab made sure to add in,

“Good thing I decided 2 leave the stolen lambo wit the 500 pounds of weed in it home! Lol #f*ckrumors.”

Although she made a living off of being naked, reality star (?) Tila Tequila doesn’t want you watching her “stolen” sex tape. According to TMZ

Just days after she Ustreamed herself in a naked rant, a new XXX video surfaced on a porn site called 4tube.com featuring Tila in a very compromising adult position with a naked man.

Tila doesn’t know why the video is surfacing now, but she claims it was ripped from a laptop that she reported stolen roughly two years ago — and now she’s threatening to sue the site for posting the clip.

The only thing surprising about this is that it’s been this long without a Tila Tequila sex tape on the interwebs. I just assumed she already had one or twenty of ‘em out there. Didn’t you? It’s like finding out the Hanukkah Fairy isn’t Jewish or that your mom isn’t a whore. Okay, okay — settle down — geez, I’m just being facetious here. Everybody already knows your mom’s a whore. I was just using that as a frame of reference.

Thousands of documents stolen from the University of East Anglia in the UK appear to show that climate change data has been manipulated, on both sides of the Atlantic,  in order to strengthen the case that global warming is the result of human activity.  According to a recent article  in the Daily Telegraph newspaper, data actually shows that global temperatures are declining.  The article says:

“In one email Professor Phil Jones, director of the University’s respected Climatic Research Unit, referred to a ‘trick’ he applied to raw data to ‘hide the decline’ in global temperatures.”

Another article quotes extracts of email exchanges, clearly never intended to be seen by the public:

From: Kevin Trenberth (US National Center for Atmospheric Research). To: Michael Mann (Pennsylvania State University). Oct 12, 2009
“The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t… Our observing system is inadequate”

Prof Trenberth appears to accept a key argument of global warming sceptics – that there is no evidence temperatures have increased over the past 10 years.

And …

From: Phil Jones. To: Many. March 11, 2003
“I will be emailing the journal to tell them I’m having nothing more to do with it until they rid themselves of this troublesome editor.”

Prof Jones appears to be lobbying for the dismissal of the editor of Climate Research, a scientific journal that published papers downplaying climate change.

And maybe the most telling…

“Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise.”

Climate change sceptics tried to use Freedom of Information laws to obtain raw climate data submitted to an IPCC report known as AR4. The scientists did not want their email exchanges about the data to be made public.

There are now calls for a public inquiry over data manipulation claims.

I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions on this.  If you’ve been visiting here a while, you probably already have a good idea of how I feel about it.

My daughter’s car was stolen during the wee-hours of the morning. She tells me that swearing has been a good coping tool today. Tears and humor are pretty helpful too, but swearing is hard to beat.

So, after a 4-day posting break on the Creators’ Blog, there is yet another update to the newly announced Counterfeit Island. This one might actually relate to the word “Counterfeit” in the island’s name. It’s called “At The Station”.

You don’t want to be on the wrong side of those bars!

So, looks like Dr. Hare is joining the Counterfeit party. It shows what looks like a sheriff’s office, with a poster above the desk reading “Stolen Painting – Thomas Jefferson”. This may relate to a counterfeit art piece being replaced by it so far. This is the first real clue as to the actual plot of Counterfeit Island, although the rest of the pieces still don’t seem to fit. Looks like we’ll just have to wait this one out a bit longer for some more details.

During my childhood, I did not have choices. I had things forced upon on my little childlike body. The word “no” did not exist in my vocabulary. I had never heard the word boundaries. Let alone know I could have them.

However, within the past year I have figured out that now, I can choose things. I have chosen to return to school. I have chosen not fight therapy and to just let professionals help me. I am starting to choose who I show love to.

The most important thing that I did choose was to start my journey of healing. I could have picked a very different path than I did. I could have become an addict, or a criminal. I could have chosen to stay a victim but I decided to call myself a survivor.

Recently my mother told me “I am self-centered and selfish for not giving someone a hug”.

I thought about what she said, I realized something. The first 22 years of my life, it was about everyone else.

While I experienced long-term sadistic abuse as a child. I kept my abuse a secret unconsciously because I was worried about how it would ruin the family image. My family stole my childhood away from me because of the unrealistic image they choose to show others.  They enabled my abusers for years until one of them died.

Selfish actually means caring only about oneself and I do not see anything wrong with that. At this point in my journey, I need to work on self-care. I am learning that it is ok and very healthy to establish boundaries.

I will not let others control my life. I will not do anything that I do not feel comfortable doing. If someone gets offended by not getting a hug, too bad. I am an adult now and a survivor. I make decisions for myself based on what makes me feel safe.

Therefore, “Self-centered” and “selfish”…damn right I am!
