Today marks the first day I am writing something in Google Docs. But who gives a fuck.. 10,000days j

Today marks the first day I am writing something in Google Docs. But who gives a fuck.. 10,000days just started…who gives a fuck right? So, today I settled in for an early night after a long time. But I wanted some excitement before I turned in. So, the easiest escape was to smoke up a joint. So I rolled a small, chocloate flavored one and did the ritual. Put on some music first. Felt like listening to some Eurythmics, Incubus, Coldplay, Evanescence topped off nicely with some Tool (see above). …guitar solo… So after I flushed down the renants of the J, I sat down to liten to the music. I had switched off the lights before and the msuic was playing in the darkness. Fuck, I just typed that line fast without making any errors. I was looking at the playlist wondering which song to play next, when suddneyl something caught my eye. It was the Windows Media Player visulaization, Battery slpeeyspray. It was wonderful. Fucking wonderful. I stared at it with the music in my head. And I let go of myself staring into the beauty before me. Then I changed the visualization to Battery Kaleidovision. This was like a sphere of orange, like a circle moving in two opposite directions. trying to turn my head to both sides was quite fun. hehe.

then i …aaah the table part in right in 2…build up….

then i checked twitter again, since that;’s like become a necessity in the daily life/routine/ratrace. then i saw that Sabby was online. So i decided to chat to her. While writing this post. Thats about hte time i starte writing te post. that was right after me being unsure whether i should use firfox or microsoft word to browse the net. Then i started typing the post.. Today marks the first day….

I considered copying the fist part of my post so that the post get repeated liek a cycle.and there’s no end. kinda like the daily routine where you get sucked into the same thing over and over again. but then i thought you guys would judge me. i dont know how. fuc.k. i started swaying to the music thinking about the post, resting aginst the back of my chair rocking back and forth, soothingly. Inside my clsoed eyes i saw the kaleidovision motions again. and through the motions i ran, writing this post on the walls of orange. Smearing my story for the world to see. And then i opened my eyes. i had finished the post in my head. i had fast forwarded the whole thing in my head. i had to retrace my steps and go through it slowly if i wanted to actually write the post on Google Docs (FTW )

My chat was sabby was very intrersting. (THanks Sabby ).. This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality..embrace this moment remember.. ahh i fucking lost it. I have work tomorrow. Mood killer. Switch thoughts. Thoughts switched. Parabola is over. Cue Stinkfist. Play. It’s 12:19. i was supposed to sleep early. I will never learn. I think to myself, maybe Sabby deserves to be included on this post.SO I go over to Gmail and ask her whether she wants to say hi to my post. Before she replies with a yes. I write the next part. “She says yes.” So world, Sabby sens a hi to you all with this post. Everybody say Hiii Sabbyy!

I’m so happy. I dont know how to explain this feeling. I’m so happy. But really tired. I go to the Google Docs dash board and see a draft marked untitled. I click. It opens. Woah. Who saw that coming right? Jeez. And here lies a post that I HAVE WRITTEN ON GOOGLE DOCS BEFORE!!! Oh my my my…Do you know hard it is to type a sentence in CAPS while holding the SHIFT key, and not pressing CAPSLOCK because you aretoo stoned to do move that one particular finger, and bob around trying to find the right keys?. I could never remember writing this. damn. so i start reading it. Bunch of crap. I contemplate whether i should post it whith this post. i give sabby a good piece of advice. Listen to Tool. She already does. Eulogy, man is so amazing. Its the last song on the playlist. Damn. I need more music btu what would top Tool? Think. Tool again. Shit this post is too long. I wonder how much further I can go on. I. listening to Eulogy now. Damn I cant remembe rwhat I was thinking last.

100,00 days just started. again.

THE END.

SHould i post my older note on this?….

ok. please find below.

……..
My mind is made up I’m on my way
Nothing in the world could lead me astray

Your tears leave permanent stains on your cheek

And your smile lines never run too deep

You are what I believe in when I have nothing else

Let the sun shine, but don’t let it burn me

Let the rain fall but don’t drown me

Let the waves crash but don’t take me away

I looked at the last of the light fading in the distant sky. I did not look forward to another lonely night in this cold place. I needed to move, find a better place to sleep in tonight. As far as I know, the world is literally mine. Everyone has been washed away in the massive tides that took over the world. I dont know how I survived. I wish I didnt. At first when I found myself floating on a wooden plank, battered and bleeding but breathing, I thanked a god that I did not believe in, for keeping me alive. My breathes were shallow and deep at the same time. But it was the best feeling ever.

He let go of her hand. It was time to go home. Back to the reality of an old apartment, an unsuspecting wife and a miserable job. Back to the life where he must forget his weaknesses and fake his strengths.

It felt heavy in my hand. A

via lisaannewatmuff.

Achso und fuck you!

The shop opened up earlier this month (November, 2009), and although they do not sell Pot, they allow medically licensed marijuana smokers to enjoy a pull at the joint or pipe in a nice, relaxing environment.

Now this to me is the epitome of Whiskey Tango when it comes to enjoying a Kenny Chesney concert in Philly. I uncovered these gems when I was rifling through my phone the other day and thought I would share them. They both were actually guzzling tall daiquiris like their stomachs were on fire. The one cat we’ll call “No Shirt Mcquack”(Above) was snoring to beat the band, and the woman “Bag lady Magee”(Below) was in my best guess, chasing rabbits in her dreams.

The scent of the two of them reminded me of college and what the kitchen floor at 10 Cedar Street in Orono would smell like after having 75 people drink their throats off all night in a 5 bedroom house. I mean hey we all get after it before concerts, but for $100/ticket I’m not going to nap through the undercard to get to Kenny. We had a ball with these people and if I’m not mistaken, I think Brawn might officially be on their christmas card list.

So, looks like I will be doing a little rationing of my supply of weed over the next couple of days, as I don ‘t thnk I will be able to talk to "my guy" about getting some. No biggie: just got to smoke a little less over the next couple of days.

This kinda’ reminds me of some great wisdom from Freewheelin’ Franklin of The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, “…Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope.”

Damn those were funny comics!

He had to put his breaks on full and ended up going head over his handlebars, breaking his forearm and two fingers along with a black eye and some serious road burn. The driver kept going, oblivious to it all.

This especially sucks as he is a tattoo artist and will now be out of work for a month or two. That’s two months with out income because one stupid human was talking on her phone while driving.

Well, we spent an hour or so talking over Skype. His pain killers that were prescribed at the hospital started wearing off, so we smoked a few bowls of the weed we had (I had some good, but unknown (to me) strain of weed, while he had some blueberry Kush. We got a little fuzzy. I know it helped my Buddy…

Yeah, I’m just gonna cut to the chase here- I’m not talking about Mary Jane, so everyone

Yeah, I’m just gonna cut to the chase here- I’m not talking about Mary Jane, so everyone can put their pants back on now. I’m talking about pizza stones. Here’s the deal- way back in the day, before I had a pizza stone, I pretty much turned my nose up at home-made pizza. The crust was always either almost burnt or gross and soggy. And nothing says FAIL quite like a shitty pizza- honestly, I’d rather eat Hamburger Helper.

Enter- the pizza stone. Now this ain’t magic, folks. It’s all quite easy, and once you make your first pizza on a stone, you’ll never go back to dumb, circular shaped pans or weird, preservative filled frozen blocks of BLAH. This is what it looks like more or less, though they come in rectangular or circle shapes:

And please keep in mind that the one pictured is brand spanking new- that’s why it’s a pretty cream color. Later on, when you see mine, don’t be frightened at its spattered darkness- that’s normal. Also, the wooden apparatus next to the stone is called a peel. It’s basically what you use to maneuver the pizza onto the stone. Just a side note: I actually prefer to use two spatulas to remove the pizza from the stone, but most normal people use the peel. WHUT? DON’T JUDGE ME.

Alright, let’s get started with my pizza. First of all I’m sure you’re wondering about the dough. I make mine in my bread machine, (a mini zojirushi) but for you poor, unfortunate souls without a bread machine, the interwebs are awash in great dough recipes; here’s one from Mark Bittman. I think he’s trustworthy, so roll with that one if you need to. Otherwise, check out your local grocer’s bakery- most of them sell ready-made pizza dough balls that would work like a charm.

So, moving on- crank the heat on your oven WAY high- i’m talking 450 or 500 degrees- and go ahead and get you dough rolled out-

Then, moderately sprinkle your pizza peel with corn meal:

The corn meal is important- it insures that your pizza does not stick to the peel, and more importantly, the stone- because if your pizza sticks to the stone- you’re pretty much fucked.

Now, take your rolled out dough, place it gently on the peel, and top as you wish. Here, as you see, I’ve got a combination of sautéed baby bella mushrooms, garlic spinach, muenster, mozzarella, and parm. But yeah, you can put whatever you want on there- just make sure all your topping are fully cooked and ready to eat when they go on the pizza-

Alright, so once it’s topped, it’s show time. Here is where things get a tiny bit complicated. I really and truly think though, then when you actually do this yourself, you sort of just naturally know what to do- it’s as if your wrist has a mind of its own…

First of all, you need to position the pizza. The tip of your peel needs be only a tiny bit behind where you’d ideally like the edge of your pizza to fall- Once you’ve positioned your peel, tilt the peel up on a slightly steeper angle, and wiggle the peel a bit- short of shake it, just a bit:

You’ll feel the pizza start to slide off the peel. Go with it, but decrease your angle on the peel- once you’ve got it going, you want the peel to be closer to parallel with the stone, so you can control the pizza more. Essentially, you should be carefully pulling the peel out from under the pizza- it’ll all be over in a snap- so just roll with it. As long as you properly corn-mealed your peel, I promise it won’t turn out bad.

You got it now. Close that hot ass oven up, go make yourself a drink and smoke a doobie- but HEY, don’t forget about the pizza! It only needs about 10-12 minutes. Yeah I know that doesn’t sound like long, but remember how hot that oven is- HEAT IS YOUR FRIEND, in more ways than one.

Alright- so now I’ll give you guys the money shots that I know you’ve been waiting for:

Awww YE-UUUH…

And the upskirt for the crust geeks out there, lurking and being weird…

So- y’all got it? Don’t blaspheme pizza by making it on anything other than a damn pizza stone, PLZ? I’m not going to post a recipe, because this is more of a tutorial than anything, so use your imagination folks, and if you have any questions at all, post them in the comments and I’ll get back to you.

On an ending note, I’d like to give my food blog recommendation of the week to My Tasty Treasures. This classy lady from New Jersey is especially feisty in the kitchen- be sure to check out her Italian Mac and Cheese. Plus, you can’t beat a food blog that is sometimes NSFW- surfers beware, you will probably see some pictures of half nekkid menz, and she’s quite fond of dick shaped food. But yeah, this is right up our alley here at Lady Business, so enjoy!

Tomorrow is Justin and I’s 3 year anniversary! I’m so excited that I almost want to stay up till 12, but I know that Justin will just want to sleep. Today I woke up early only to remember that I have an A block spare, ate breakfast, and went back to sleep. But today was a good day because I had my priorities straight and ended up going to Biology….15 mins late. At first I was like… shit! because I shouldn’t always be late for that class, but it’s a hell of alot better than skipping the class all together and staying home. At lunch I pretended to have a life in the library, but today I actually had some homework/studying to do so it really came in handy. My next class we had a quiz which I was dreading because I haven’t really been doing any of the math homework. Not because I don’t understand it, but because I just haven’t had the time, with what… all the procrastinating I do. Anyway, the questions were really easy and because I studied in the library at lunchtime, I ended up getting 100% yay:) History was alot more interesting today because the guy who usually sits behind me came to class really really REALLY stoned. I spent the entire class messing with his head and making him laugh. After school I walked home with Maria and my cousin. We ended up taking a detour and going to thrifty’s so that Maria could buy all of the dirt cheap leftover halloween candy, but she just ended up buying a really big cookie for us instead. When I got home I got a call from my auntie asking ryan and I to rake the front lawn. Because we only had one rake, and his dad was coming to pick him up, I told him that we would do it in shifts and that he should go first. He did, but within about 5 minutes his dad came by and I ended up doing practically the entire thing! I didn’t really mind though, I like raking… plus its a good workout for my arms. After I raked I went for a 3 Km run and tired myself out even more. I ate dinner, and talked on the phone with Justin while cleaning my room… then practised driving for about 20 mins. So tired, but all in all a more productive day then I have had in a while.

Enjoy,

Hello and welcome to what I hope becomes a thriving blog/community dedicated to the wonderful plant/

Hello and welcome to what I hope becomes a thriving blog/community dedicated to the wonderful plant/drug, Marijuana (hence forth mostly to be referred to as “pot”).

A Little about me and my experiences with pot:

Call me Weedly (not my real name). I have been smoking pot for about 25 years and will probably continue for the rest of my life. I started smoking pot as a typical Canadian teenager of the 1980s. I smoked pot at first because my friends were, but quickly switched to smoking for my own reasons (heeheehee). I used to love smoking a big joint and then putting on the ol’ headphones and escaping into Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon or Relics, Klaatu’s Hope or whatever other freaky album I might have been into at that exact moment in time. Friday night trips (pun intended) the the gigantic West Edmonton Mall to play videogames in the great Aladdin’s arcade while in a pot induced delirium or hanging out with at a buddies place playing darts and smoking were the norm.

Over the years, I continued smoking, mostly for pleasure’s sake, and never in any really great amounts: just a joint or two a day for the most part. Sure, there were times, with buddies, where we might go through a significant amount of weed in a short while… but those times were fewer and farther between as time went by. Casual smoking was really the norm, not the exception.

Then in the mid 1990s I hurt my back quite badly at work and found myself off work, recuperating for a significant amount of time. While injured I was prescribed various drugs for pain and inflammation reduction. All these drugs seemed to have side effects that (for me) seemed worse that the original pain. Codeine made me sleepy and slow, Arthrotec (or whatever) gave me weird dreams and fitful sleep, some gave me an upset stomach. I soon discovered that the best medicine for me was one I was already using: Pot (surprised?). Out of frustration, I started smoking a little more when the pain was particularly bad. Soon I started noticing (as did the people around me), that I was up and about a lot more and complaining a lot less about my back pain. Now, I don’t know if the pot actually reduced the pain much, but it did manage to distract me from it, allowing me to enjoy life a lot more than I had been. I was a poster-child (heh, not really a child, but you know what I mean), for Medical Marijuana before I ever heard of the term!

So, over fourteen years since my accident, I still suffer with chronic back pain. Aside from prescribed drugs for the pain, there doesn’t seem to be any “fix” for what ails me, so I still find myself self medicating with pot when the pain gets to be too much. That’s not to say that I don’t smoke for pleasure anymore, because I do. It’s just that I also smoke for relief.

I should state that the point of this blog is not necessarily to be an advocate for Medical Marijuana, but to share pot experiences, good times bad time etc. This blog is supposed to be fun, and if I manage to help someone in any way, well cool beans, then!
