The Shopper bag comes under this phenomenon category. Never again will you need to struggle attempting to carry multiple bags just to be able to have access to your daily basic requirements. All you need is just one simple, chic and on trend Shopper bag for next season….and as always there are so many to choose from. These are my picks.

It’s got to be an embarassment for Cheryl to design the shoes and put her name to them, only for customers mainly her fans, not to be satisfied with them. Her spokesman wouldn’t even comment on it. Why not? This is the time to reassure customers surely? Just because a celebrity with no fashion experience behind them puts there name to a product obviously doesn’t mean that it’s automatically going to be good.

The collection – which launched online yesterday at Stylistpick.com – offers a premium range of high quality shoes and boots that can be worn from day to-night and to any red carpet event.

Voted ‘Best Dressed’ in an array of luxury magazines and adorning front covers for premium titles such as Elle, Tatler and Cosmopolitan, Cheryl and her stylist Victoria Adcock seem to clearly understand what style works for her and millions alike. Therefore it was important then that Cole was involved in the process from an early stage.

“I think people were expecting just a handful of high heels made in different ways, but that’s not what I’m about,” Cole stated. “I wanted each girl to have something she could relate to, whatever she does, or however she feels.”

“I really do feel that there is something for everyone here.”

Once purchased your selection of shoes will arrive in packaging designed by Cole, with her very own branded tissue and black and white shoe boxes with hand tied pink ribbon.

There are eight styles available in the collection which range from £79.90-£119.85, with further additions being added in the New Year, but my money is on the GLAM SLAM or YOUR ROYAL HOTNESS heels; both a great addition to any Christmas party outfit.

It seems that Rhyme et Reason favorite Cheryl Cole has gone and become a shoe designer!  Is there anything she can’t do? (Besides keeping a job in the U.S. Damn you, Simon Cowell!) 

In between two insanely successful solo albums (perhaps even a third to come) and whisperings of a potential Girls Aloud reunion, a newly blonde Cheryl has somehow managed to design a shoe line for the UK site Stylistpick.com–which is essentially the same as Rachael Bilson’s stateside ShoeMint project.  Take a quiz and get your pick of pre-screened shoes for a reasonable price point–remember it’s more than double if you’re ordering from the U.S.

Cole, like Bilson, was hands on in the design process, picking shapes, colors, and materials for each of the affordable shoes as evidenced by the video below. Stylistpick explains: “Cheryl Cole, the nation’s icon, is designing her first range of shoes for fashion loving women who share (read: copy) her style.”  Her Premium collection launched yesterday.

The wait is over for the anticipated Cheryl Cole shoe début. Her shoe collection is now available online at StylistPick. The price ranges from 79 to 120 pounds. It’s a 12 piece range with a selection of leopard print ankle boot to flat boots. The shoes are to die for. To be honest, I didn’t expect less from her, the woman has a shoe fetish with over 2000 pairs of shoes. I like that she gave the shoes some funky name like Ri-Ri, Monkey, Gram Slam and my personal favourite ”Your royal Hotness”.   I know some of those shoes will be on my Christmas wishlist. The packaging is super kawaii (cute) too, black with a white lid and pink ribbon.

We had heard at one point that Cheryl’s shoes would be priced at £39.95 per pair – just like Stylepick’s usual monthly edit of footwear goodies, but the cost of a pair of Cheryl shoes is £79.90 or £119.85 depending on the design. Having said that, they look really good quality and use real leather so the cost is justified!

We love the names of the shoes including Funky Monkey Tarzan and Byker Groove Mucky Puppy and there are tough looking, practical every day boots as well as super high shoes.

However, we are a sucker for glam heels at this time of year and here are our 3 favourites (and some Cheryl editorial shots from Stylistpick).

Obviously it started with me rushing around trying to get organised and looking “awards glamorous,” which of course is open to interpretation.  I really was struggling for some time trying to decide what to wear.  I think I changed my mind 3 times in the end.  When it came down to crunch time I found an awesome vintage inspired dress by Biba from House of Fraaser that I fell in love with.

The 1920’s vintage look had me from “hello.”  It’s beaded all over front and back with a scalloped hem.  I teamed it up with thick black tights, suede black heels and a clutch bag from River Island.

I don’t really know what awards glamorous is as the dress code described but I definitely felt comfortable in what I was wearing especially considering that I had to travel on the tube and didn’t want to stand out like a sore thumb.

Once in London it was time to meet my date for the night, the lovely Philippa.   It took me a while to reach her as I got lost on Oxford street looking for the side street to take me to Liberty, which was our meeting point.  We finally made it to the awards venue at 24 Kingly, a very sophisticated little club that was well hidden on a small street.  I’m so glad Philippa knew where she was going as I had no clue what so ever.

We were greeted with cosmopolitan cocktails (naturally), a free bar, canapés and cupcakes.  We had the sneaky suspicion that the cocktails was just Vitamin Water as they  didn’t taste like they had any alcohol in them at all.  I drank two glasses like it was water…oops! There was also a place where you could get your nails done, touch up your make-up courtesy of Benefit and a selection of shoes, jewelry and handbags from Stylistpick to drool over.

Everyone was dressed to the nines and there was a lot of 40’s glamour with some of the outfits too.  You can see some more pics and highlights from the event on the Cosmopoilitan website here.  Being surrounded in a room packed full of bloggers was totally surreal.  We even got to meet the editor of the magazine too!!!

Guess who won???

Yes, the lovely Philippa!!!  I was so happy for her and she was genuinely surprised (I have no idea why!!!).  This girl is amazing and has been on such an inspirational journey, such a deserving winner.  After running the London Marathon and almost finishing writing her book I think this was the perfect cherry on the cake.  Well done lovely!

Philippa and I even played up to the presumed rivalry between us and faked a bitch fight that was all caught on camera, which you can watch here.  A big congratulations to everyone that was nominated and all of the winners, which are all listed here.

It was such a fun and incredible night and I really didn’t want it to end.  We decided to continue our celebrations with a lovely meal at a vegetarian restaurant called Mildred’s.  I had the gyoza for my starter and the burrito for my main.

Both were just tasted equally stunning, but we couldn’t finish our mains so had to pass on the amazing dessert selection.  If you are ever in London looking for a vegetarian restaurant then I highly recommend this one.  There is a selection of organic wines and drinks and the food ranges from vegan, gluten free and vegetarian.  My dishes were so flavourful and fresh!

But of course all good things have to come to an end and I think my poor feet were thankful of that.  It really was a night to remember and I had a great time celebrating Philippas success,  I could seriously talk to her for hours.

Although I didn’t win it really didn’t matter.  I was just so surprised and ecstatic to be given the opportunity to attend such a fab event.  It was such a special night to be a part of and I really didn’t feel worthy.

Stepping out wearing a scarlet satin dress and beige, suede heels sporting a very large beehive with a gold headband, Cheryl Cole stood out beautifully for her launch party held in London for her shoe collection.

The singer celebrated her shoe collection that she has collaboration with online fashion site Stylistpick.

Stylistpick is an online fashion store selling you the latest trend in accessories in shoes, handbags and jewellery.  Where you can have  a personalised styling membership service.

Fashionista and bandmate Nicola Roberts was also at the event to give support to Cheryl who posed together in a picture at the bash.

Cheryl’s shoe collection will be available from December. The collection has been designed with Stylistpick from the retailer’s wider collections as Cheryl is yet to decide her ultimate pieces from their online collection. And will also be sharing style insightsand tips with site users.

Stylistpick’s chief creative officer Juliet Warkentin spoke of working with Cheryl saying: ‘We are thrilled to be working with Cheryl. Cheryl is the style icon and is amazingly warm, a quality that has made her the nation’s favorite.

‘We believe that the launch will have a huge fashion impact; establishing fashion’s greatest influencer as a major force in fashion design and further democratising fashion.’

The Girls Aloud beauty tweeted on her twitter page along with a picture of herself drinking a cocktail: “It’s shoe time.. Haha ”.

After finishing her launch party it seemed that Cheryl wasn’t pleased with the shoes she had worn for the night as she tweeted: “Girls..Don’t you just love taking your foot out of a heel and into your slippers..The best! Feels like my feet are having a cuddle.. X”.

So being a designer, I’m always looking for the ‘colours that go’, and I often come across things beauty and fashiony in my research. Yesterday was no different, a tinkle on Google led to finding these GORGEOUS coloured nail varnishes by Chanel, I call the colours ‘antique pastel’ and they’re so perfect for this long run into autumn where it’s not quite summer which is already on it’s way. It got me thinking though about what shoes would go with such colours, unless you’re a REALLY girly girl who would teams it with more whites and pastels, it doesn’t quite go with black (my failsafe when the weather gets colder). Then out of nowhere I get an email from Stylists Pick (which by the way is amazing site where you fill out a short questionnaire and they send you shoes styles that suit you, and so accurate!) an email featuring these wicked cut out brogues in mink leather! (Taupe/mushroom whatever you want to call it) perfect for autumn and I think a great colour combination. I’d love to see these shoes with a bit more feminine detailing like scalloped seams and maybe heart or fan shapes *out comes the sketchbook*

Most recently, Warkentin was Content Director at style trend analysis firm WGSN, while prior to this she has also held the role of Internet director at Arcadia Group (Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topshop and Wallis).

Founded in 2010 and originally seed-funded by Stefan Glaenzer and Robert Dighero of White Bear Yard, and Index Seed, Stylistpick is a fashion buying website for shoe and accessory shoppers but with a neat twist to the buying club model: Customers signup to StylistPick and are asked to take a short quiz to “identify their fashion profile”. Then each month they receive tailored recommendations for fashion items such as shoes and bags via a monthly-subscription, which includes the items themselves.

It’s also a model that is strikingly similar to Shoedazzle in the U.S., which is funded to the tune of $23 million and is also said to be planning on entering the UK later this year, while the infamous Samwer Brothers are thought to be cloning the subscription model, possibly via their existing property Zalando, a European Zappos clone. That’s perhaps not surprising: the shoe market in the UK alone is estimated to be worth £8 billion ($13 million) per-year. On that note, StylistPick membership is said to be doubling month-on-month, although the company doesn’t say what that figure is.

StylistPick, the fashion buying site that offers members a personalised offer each month, has raised $8 million in a Series A round co-led by Accel Partners and Index Ventures.
